Plot details:
So these threads are actually rather scattered at the beginning and 'fall' into a line closer to the end. Hunt the Velocidrake is actually a thread that gets the attention of Polarity behind the curtains. Its because of that thread that the company turns their eyes towards him. While yes the thread was unfinished I just lost the muse but I am just going to say that it is done. It is there that he upped his Fullbring to advanced [through the use of plot points]. In traveling Gage is going through russia and finds his friend is missing. Stepping in to get her he does what he can to get her home safely from a cult that has devoted themselves to a hollow like it was their demonic god.
What a night is the beginning of Gage's interactions with the Soul Society, here he is protecting a Shinigami that falls from the sky during a personal event in HM. The hollow that follows him attacks him while he is under Gages care and Gage goes to full lengths to make sure that he is not hurt at the risk of his own body. Traveling is another interaction with SS members. This one he helps Tatsu learn to 'speak' with his Zanpakto mid mission.
During the Museum he was chosen over all the other hunters to go out and get a 'relic' mask, something that came from time long past. He gets the mask but he accidentally sets off the alarms on his way out. The following thread, the shut down, he is ambushed by a group of humanoids that beat him down and suppress his ability to use soul communication. Stealing the mask back they vanish and Omar picks him up.
Next in the drawing of fate, he meets with Charilus, and is chastised for his loss of the mask. Finally when he is done being chewed out he gets a full history rundown on the need for the mask which is a whole other plot line.
Tho'x an ancient Fullbringer, once crossed the line between human and hollow in a similar fashion to that of a Vizard but without having to go into the Shinigami phase. Other members of his organization, dying in the process, kill him and seal his soul into many different masks (7 of them). If the mask are ever brought together they can bring Tho'x back to life and release him to the world (Think AL-a evil Fullbringer). Gage has already lost the first mask. Charilus, offering him a position on the company, says that it is because he has shown promise with the company and has recomendations from both Omar and from the other represenatives of the company. In reality though Gage is going to get the position because he has the mask of anger as his fullbring, sealed in his body. If the mask is ever removed then his Fullbring is sealed and he must start over.
Charilus, wanting Gage to get over his weakness to the Phantasm sends Gage home with his grandaughter to get some training in the use of Reiryoku techniques [Phantasm].
