THE PLOT

In the world of Bleach, the physical and spiritual planes are disturbingly close together. Either one can touch and interact with the other, but only the spiritually aware can see the spiritual plane and its residents. Within the parallel spiritual dimension called the Soul Society, Shinigami, also known as Soul Reapers, take on the job of sending spirits stuck in the physical Human World onto the next world, and cleansing evil spirits called Hollow of their sins. Their battle is timeless and constant to keep the world in balance, but constant anomalies of other races persist in upsetting the scale.


Two years have passed since Aizen Sousuke's downfall. Peace has been once again achieved for however little a time period has been granted. Shinigami drag their heels to rebuild what bonds have been lost or severed, picking up the pieces of their previous lifestyle. Captains from an old age have risen to serve once again, old-fashioned ways and thoughts eroded away to let new ideas flourish.

All at the expense of a hero's power...

Short-lived peace carved Ichigo's steps, but the spiritual world haunted them, echoing into his life. It wasn't long until it caught up with him and forged ahead, rewriting the path of peace into yet another for war.

The debt has been paid. The hero has returned.

But even with the Fullbringers stepping out of the shadows and into the limelight, peace has managed to tighten its clutch once more. Taken with Ichigo's power and spirit, the Soul Society has constructed legalised Substitute Shinigami to help in the human world and their home alike, ambassadors between the two races. Humans and Fullbringers remain as blissfully ignorant or informed as they please, their focus on protecting innocents from the ravage of Hollow. But they too, have issues.

Aizen's legacy and its followers have been whittled down into near extinction, crumbling beneath the bid for freedom within Hueco Mundo. But yet a lingering memory remains as Las Noches has become a home for any Arrancar that wander in, whether turned by the Hougyoku in the past or not. Unable to be rid of their human thoughts, they are beginning to rebel against their carnivorous cousins, promoting freedom rather than peace. So whilst the millienia aged war between Hollow and Shinigami shall continue, Arrancar are earnest to prove that their right to live is as good as a human's.

Further breaking the ice, fear of Shinigami is slowly being abolished. Customs and rules are starting to be looked at again, giving possible hope for a Vizard's return to their home dimension. The xenophobic endangered races of Mod Souls and Bounts are emerging from the rubble of the war as well, seeking acceptance.

The clock is ticking. Away from naivety and the sickening smell of softened hatred.

Away from idealistic peace.

The Quincy have remained aloof, wary of every race they come across no matter their connection. Pure-blooded or not, their traditions, beliefs and values are beginning to call them back to their roots, and begin a poisonous scheme that will affect the already withered olive branch.


An uncertain future rests upon the crimson horizon. The Quincy have begun to plot their invasion into the Soul Society, recruiting warriors, mercenaries and bystanders for the Vandenreich, their building Quincy army.

Seeds of betrayal are being planted and sweet nothings are being whispered. A rift between Quincy and the rest of the world is beginning to be breached in the claim for justice.

But there is time before this happens.

Time to pick a side.
