RANK SYSTEM
On Bleach Society RP, we use a system that gives certain ranks/levels in order to determine what level of abilities they can possess. It is separated into six ranks from Starting to Almighty (God-Level is unattainable) and these six ranks are also given a midway point between them.
Rather than dictating your general power, your rank is merely a progress indicator on how skilled a character has become. So the higher your rank, the greater the access you have to a larger technique pool, higher level techniques, as well as higher level Masteries. At its simplest the only difference between a one rank difference is the fact that the higher rank will have one additional [Advantage] in battle.
For Quincy, Mod Souls and Bounts only, their rank also dictates their level of Reishi Control.
Below, we have put some descriptions on what a character is generally capable of at that respective rank, as well as what skills are available to them.
In addition to these ranks, Quincy, Bount and Mod Souls are the only races in which they have a skill which is improved upon by their rank, rather than by mastery. This is their reishi control, and defines a general passive skill by which they use their abilities. This also applies to the Mixed Blood Quincy Reishi Passive.
However, this is not your power level

STARTING LEVEL & STARTING LEVEL ADVANCED [SL/ SL-A]
[SL] - Only Humans that are completely unaware of the spiritual world can be this rank, so you are an entirely normal human.
[SL-A] - You have begun to see and feel spirits around you, but that's it. You automatically unlock the Reiatsu Control and your durability mastery, but you still have no unique spiritual abilities.
LOW LEVEL & LOW LEVEL ADVANCED [LL/LL-A]
[LL] - Your own abilities have begun to manifest themselves, but they're weak and more than likely unrefined. You have officially been placed on the map of the spiritual side of the world.
[LL-A] - Your abilities are getting stronger, your senses and more acute, and the dangers coming after you are getting worse. You're basically cannon fodder.
MEDIUM LEVEL & MEDIUM LEVEL ADVANCED [ML/ML-A]
[ML] - You've reached average for all races, though you are seen as an abnormality to humans.
[ML-A] - Whilst you don't get access to new tiers or mastery levels here, you get a wider tech pool and you can attempt many trials to acquire new perks, such as Vizard, Bankai, or Vasto Lorde.
HIGH LEVEL & HIGH LEVEL ADVANCED:[HL/HL-A]
[HL] - This is the maximum level a Shinigami can get to without acquiring Bankai, so where many races start to get their secondary level release. You also need at least 75 IC posts in order to get this rank.
[HL-A] - Here is where descriptions start to become lax. You can now access every available Mastery Level for all Masteries From now on, getting a higher rank means a larger technique pool and more Advantages.
ALMIGHTY LEVEL & ALMIGHTY LEVEL ADVANCED [AL/AL-A]
[AL] - To get this rank you must have most masteries leveled to a reasonable level as well as at least 150 IC posts. This is also where you acquire the maximum technique pool limit.
[AL-A] - The final level an OC can reach, this is last rank advantage you can get. To obtain this rank, all masteries except one or two must be Mastered. This is the rank only some of the strongest Captains or Espada have.
GOD LEVEL [GL]
[GL] - This is an entire tier that only the most powerful of canon characters get into. They're not indestructible, but their power can reach the heavens. Examples include Yamamoto, Aizen, Yhwach and the Soul King.
REISHI CONTROL
In addition to these ranks, Quincy, Bount and Mod Souls are the only races in which they have a skill which is improved upon by their rank, rather than by mastery. This is their reishi control, and defines a general passive skill by which they use their abilities. This also applies to the Mixed Blood Quincy Reishi Passive.
[SL-A] Gathering reishi is extremely difficult and you're lucky if what you gather doesn't fizzle out, and you can't sense reishi.
[LL] You can't gather much Reishi, but what you can enough to form a simple technique despite the strain. For sensing reishi, you can't tell how much there is but you can tell the general locations.
[LL-A] You won't be strained when gathering reishi, and forming techniques is easier. It's easier to tell how much reishi is in the area and where its most concentrated, but medium range is the limit.
[ML] Reishi bechniques are starting to come easily for you, but it still takes some effort to keep reishi in larger amounts stable. In a localised area you can tell whether there's a reishi disturbance, and better tell its density.
[ML-A] Gathering and controlling reishi in large amounts has become easier. You can now detect reishi at long range.
[HL] Gathering reishi is practically instantaneous and stable but you can still improve. You can also better deduce multiple centralized areas of reishi.
[HL-A] You can gather reishi at a moment's notice, and in mass amounts. You can detect even the slightest amount of reishi from far away and how it's moving about if there's a disturbance.
[AL] Gathering reishi is second nature. You can fire and sustain tremendous amounts of it. You can detect whether reishi is near or far, and the amount and how its shaped can be sensed at a vast distance.
RANKS AT CREATION
First note that you do not choose your character's starting rank. It is assigned one by the Profile Grader(s) upon approval.
Typically however, those given the maximum rank for profile creation have a full set of techniques including release techniques, even-leveled masteries and the maximum mastery and technique amount for their release (excepting Quincy as they cannot start with their release, the maximum Release starting level is Average but the technique amount varies).
