HISTORY

Germany, 1985

On the north coast, it was said that he cut his way out from his mother, knife in hand. That was a little…well, absolutely, false. A sprightly young child, born naturally, came into a world of promise; loved by his parents until his mother passed shortly after his birth. As a child, he played with strings and set traps like his father, and in his teens, he bested the old man. He spoke little and kept to himself, but being Fleet of foot and a natural hunter, he blossomed as a trapper and trader known for a sharp wit and shrewd eye. Eventually his skill outfoxed the fox and outran the hare. As his skill grew, he moved into a home that he built from trees he hewed himself. He picked up a new hobby—because capturing people as his quarry, he could match brains as well as brawn.

It started with just one man—one man who caught his eye with his foppish dress and new mannerisms. He was interesting. So, the chase began. Meetings on the street, seemingly random, but planned perfectly. He took his time, and he knew the man chased back. Just knew. It took three days, and he knew it was time. He captured the man with his bare hands and took him away. He killed him expressly, and he realized he enjoyed it. He really and truly did. Animals wouldn’t look you in the eyes, wouldn’t fight you like a human, couldn’t fight to the very end to try and stay alive. So he did it again, a woman this time. He trapped her in the night and did what most grown ups would do. He killed her as he did the last.

He didn’t stop there. Why should he? As they fell by his hand, people began to talk. They realized it—whenever he came into town, people went missing. Of course they’d notice. But if he could just get rid of that one—and that one—and that other one...That could help. It became more and more like an addiction every day. Nobody could ever prove he did it, though. He was being much too careful for that. They called him Devil. They forgot his true name among the fear of his new persona, this bright young boy grown up to be a moody, dark man.

Time went by and while everyone in town went about their business, so did he. Doors were locked at night. Children whispered, and so did their parents. Seasons came and went, and he refused to stop himself. He got confident—cocky—sloppy. He couldn’t take them out fast enough. He was getting worse, unbeknownst to him. The town, however, certainly took notice. One night, they gathered a posse of the remaining men, slunk to the cabin where he lived, and broke the door down.

Captured the youth was burned alive on a stake and then fed to the dogs. Since then his spirit wandered the earth for what seemed like a century before his madness finally consumed him and transformed him into a new being.

Description: By chanelling energy into his gullet, the devil is capable of releasing ultraviolet bones that move in a cyclonic motion and is precisely 4ft wide, moves up at the speed of a cero. The said bellow is capable of causing blunt, cutting and piercing damage, proving to be quite fatal to the said victim(s) that succumb to this roar's mighty power.

Description: By channeling energy onto the said surface he is standing upon, Meruem is capable of calling forth large spikes of ultraviolet bones. To summon them, he simply needs to point a finger upward, which in return, enables the bones to shoot forth from the ground/wall/air. The bones are 3ft and 5in tall, capable of causing piercing damage to the said target(s) it strikes; it should be noted, up to four bones can be summoned (1/4th IV-tier piercing damage per bone). However, if he wanted, Meruem is capable of summoning one bone forth which allows the full IV-class piercing damage.

Description: By generating his energy up to three spears (visual) that are 4ft and 6in tall can be formed around the frame of Meruem. Hovering in the air, they will lay flat around his waist area with the blades pointed outwards facing the target, and will begin to spin around his waist at extraordinary velocity, following Meruem wherever he goes. Taking control of all three spears will result in 1/3 of IV piercing damage; using one would be the full output of the said damage. He is capable of firing the spears individually/together which if he wanted, can be detonated and will release a torrent of ultraviolet bones in a 10ft radius; anyone caught in the blast's radius, would suffer from blunt damage. It should be noted, a single spear could be wielded as a weapon instead of utilized in its original manner.

Description: Meruem is able to control his own skeletal structure by manipulating his osteoblast cells for combat purposes. By default, Meruem gains six long bone covered tails that can each stretch to a total of 10 feet upon releasing his hollow powers. This phenomenon occurs because he is able to change the concentration of calcium within his bones. As an example, Meruem is able to make his sharp bones that are denser and stronger then steel grow out in some of the least expected places upon his body for offensive and defensive purposes like his tails. Consequently, this also allows Meruem to block half of a tier above ability , a full ability of the same tier or two abilities that are two tiers below should his use his tails as a shield. If physical contact is made with the Bone devil's skin they will receive light cutting damage upon physical contact due to the hard and sharp like texture his bones covers his body in.
