Such a delightful evening. Neither too hot, nor too cold. Just the right temperature anyone would want for a day full of training. The scenery was as it was every day. Crowded streets, lively cafe's, shops full of people coming and going with shopping bags, etc. Even though the same happens every evening, every time, it amazes you how many people could resident in such a small town like Karakura. Everyone, after their job, would do their daily shopping before heading back home. That's how life was passing by in this town.
Close-by, next to a small market just at the end of the street, was a girl standing. A pair of black sports pants, a white t-shirt with orange sketches on it, as well as an orange cap. By her shoulder was a sports bag, probably filled with anything needed for her training. It was Asuka, watching her mobile phone and sighing, as she realised she was earlier than she should.
The store she was standing in front of, under its awning, was just at the end of the street, before bridge of Karakura's river started. It was a small market, selling drinks, snacks, and every small and basic stuff someone would want. An old woman with her son owned it. Asuka knew them quite well, while she was buying her daily energy drink from there, as she was passing by to go to her training, every day.
"Meet me at the bridge's market at 7. I'll be the one holding the bag -wink smiley-". That was the message Asuka sent Kasumi that morning. They had agreed to meet that day for a special, private training. Well, Asuka's actual words were Special awesome with the Master of awesomeness, Asuka, training, but that didn't matter. She was holding a bottle of orange juice at hand while waiting. She still had half an hour ahead before the meeting time. She had a lot of waiting. Her mobile phone was playing an arcade music, while she was playing some kind of game. She needed something to waster her time, after all.

It had been a little over a day since Kasumi and Asuka’s last encounter, the laughs they had shared, the food they had eaten, it was a great time for sure. Now though, this was a new day a day in which Asuka told Kasumi she would show her some actual training. Most likely in some kind of attempt to show her that what she experience in the gym the other day was a fluke with Kasumi winning. Kasumi couldn’t help but smirk to herself at the thought of that, it certainly wouldn’t surprise her if that was the kind of thing that Asuka planned on doing.
The weather outside was…well perfect, there wasn’t really a better word for it. It was warm out with the occasional breeze to cool everything down. The perfect weather was clearly noticed too by everyone around, the streets and shops were filled with people buying this, talking about that, it was almost too insane to even imagine, and getting around at spots was a little more than uncomfortable to get around the throngs of people.
Having finally hit a clearing away from some of the people Kasumi looked down at her phone, the LED screen illuminating displaying the text that was sent to her this morning from Asuka. She was to meet her at seven down at the bridge’s market. At this rate getting through the crowd she would be lucky if she made it right on time. It was already quarter of seven and she still had a little bit to go, well in honest it wasn’t too much of a distance, but with all the people it surely would take a little longer than it would have otherwise normally taken to get down there. So she pressed onward, moving through person after person trying to clear paths so that she could get to her final destination and meet Asuka.
Kasumi hated having to do this, interact with so many people in this manner, pushing one aside and side stepping another. Some people had no consideration for others, just standing in the middle of the way not even moving, just standing there! People walked there how were they ever supposed to get through when there were people like this in the world. Kasumi let out a sigh as the little shop came into view alongside the view of the bridge, the shopping sitting just in front of it. A little more forward progress and a check down at her phone, Kasumi would notice it was five after seven and Asuka would finally come into view.
Five minutes…not terrible….though I’m sure Asuka will have something to say about it.
Throwing her hand up in a wave as she got closer Kasumi shouted to Asuka, “Sorry about the delay, it’s crazy with all the people in town right now.”
Kasumi stopped a few feet away from Asuka dressed in a pair of black light weight jogging/exercise pants, and a forest green t-shirt, a bag strewn across her shoulder carrying a few things she would typically carry with her when she went to train in the gym.
“Well. I guess I’m ready for this amazing training now.” Kasumi said with a smirk on her face.
"YES! Eat that you lil-No, goddamn!- Come on, come on, come on! - UGH!"
Asuka seemed to rage and flail over her mobile phone as she was failing badly at the game she was playing. You could see the anger forming up on her face, the same anger a 5 years old kid would have while losing a game. She barely noticed, even heard Kasumi approaching, until she spoke her last words. Asuka almost dropped her phone, surprised and raised her eyes. She blinked a couple of times before she realised who was approaching and talking to her.
"Oh, hey Kasumi! It is alright, I was busy after all, with this piece of crap!", she yelled angrily at her phone while putting it in her pocket and then turning her glance at Kasumi smiling, like nothing happened.
Oh yes, you should be ready. After this training, you'll be a totally different person", Asuka said with a serious tone in her voice, winking at Kasumi. "Shall we go?", she said, gesturing at Kasumi to move ahead. "How are you? How was your day?", Asuka asked with a casual manner, as they started walking.
Their way passed by with a casual chit-chat, as they walked. After a while, when they almost went out of town, Asuka suggested for a soft jogging. If they did, they would jog for around half an hour, before reaching an area of fields, at the outskirts of Karakura. Asuka lead both of them on a nearby hill, with a single tree on top of it, proving just enough shadow under the sun for them to sit if they needed to relax.
"Here we are", Asuka said, waving her hand like showing over the place. "This is my favourite spot for practicing and training. It might be a bit far from the town, but I love it", she continued, looking at Kasumi with a smile. "What do you think?", she said while leaving her bag next to the tree stump.
"What do you prefer? What to relax abit before starting, or start right away?"

Kasumi’s eyes widened temporarily as she heard Asuka’s voice. It seemed she was rather thoroughly absorbed into the game or whatever it might be that she was doing on her phone. She certainly did get animated even over something as simple as this, though the more Kasumi thought about it the less it seemed to surprise her.
Kasumi smiled as Asuka snapped out of her game and greeted her. Kasumi smiled as she walked forward along with Asuka who gestured her onward.
“I’ve been good and the days has been like any other I suppose. I mean it’s only been a day or so, so not too much has been going on per say. This is arguably the most exciting thing that I will be able to mark down mentally.” Kasumi said with a small laugh. They walked for a while, far longer than Kasumi initially anticipated at least, just to get to this “secret” training area Asuka swore by. The jog was pleasant, a nice pace and the scenery all around them was great to look at and made the time seem more enjoyable then if there was nothing at all.
Finally they came to the end of their journey, an open field with seemingly nothing else around at all. It certainly would be an ideal place to host some kind of training, definitely expansive enough.
“It’s very nice. Isolated for sure, no need to worry about people bothering you during training like at the gym. The atmosphere too seems so calm.” Kasumi said as she looked around the area more, stretching her arms up over her head with a small yawn.
“Hm? Well it’s your secret training place after all, so I think it’s best that you decide that for us, don’t you think? I mean personally I’ll be fine either way, but what do you think?” Kasumi said calmly with a small smirk on her face. She was curious how Asuka would take her remark, skating past having to answer a question and make a decision, rather instead simply pushing it back to Asuka.
"I am glad you like it. Indeed, this place is perfect for meditation. The feel of grass, wind; the sound of nature all around. Well, except when trucks pass by the road a bit further from here", Asuka stated, starting with a soft smile at first, but finished her phrase with a grin, like usual. "Well, you get what I mean anyway", she said again, before leaning over her bag and taking out a couple of water bottles and an orange juice bottle. "Those are for you", she said with a smirk, tossing one of the water bottles and the juice at Kasumi.
"What?! Oh, come on...", Asuka said with a frown, looking at Kasumi. "Do not toss me back my questions with those cheap excuses, you are the guest here., she continued, before sitting down and leaning against the tree. "On the other hand though", she started saying again, as she scratched her chin. "I am the one who brought you here. And the one who will show you some skills. Your mentor, heh, who will teach you little inexperienced girl some serious bussiness, hmmmm", the more she spoke, the wider her grin was getting. Finally, her eyes raised at Kasumi and her wide grin was replaced with a smile.
"I have decided. Let's chill!"
Truth was, Asuka needed some time to think of what kind of 'training' they would do out there. Well, she invited Kasumi at her 'secret training location' and all, to show her some 'amazing training' and stuff, but she haven't thought any of it, until now. A sly smirk appeared on her face at that moment, as she turned her glance back at Kasumi. "So, do you have anything in particular you want to train, learn or try out?"

“Yeah it’s hard to believe somewhere so isolated exists so close to a bustling and busy town like Karakura. It seems as though we’re not even near a town at all.” Kasumi said as she continued to look around the lack of people, buildings, all of it seemed so surreal yet amazing all at the same time. It was liberating and exciting all together.
Kasumi smiled back at Asuka as she caught the drinks, having been snapped out of her thoughts from Asuka’s words.
“Thanks.”
Kasumi was about to speak again, however she decided to remain quite as Asuka went on her own little rant about not asking the same question and what they were going to do next. Most likely if Kasumi allowed her to continue on with this they would either first off have a conclusion with Asuka deciding or instead they would end up right where they just had been. Kasumi decided to take her chances, which ultimately paid off in her favor with Asuka deciding that they should just relax for a little instead of jumping right into their training.
“What do I plan on getting out of this? Good question…” Kasumi said as she began walking slowly around the area wandering no further than a few feet away.
“I’m not sure to be honest. I have a few moves I’ve been working on that I think you would enjoy seeing. Other than that I believe I came here to learn from the master.” Kasumi said ending with a smirk, sarcastic in her remarks of calling Asuka a master. Maybe a master at cooking but that’s the best she was going to get out of Kasumi.
