So yeah... guess I'll start one here on the new site now, just in case anyone wants to share theories or talk about new chaps and such.
As for this week's chap...

...called those revival pods ages ago.
Like, when the Shini were first gathering to go to Soul Palace, and it showed a little panel of Mayuri doing something, I was just like, "Hey, I bet those are revival pods with Hitsu and Kensei and Rose in them".
Though, I don't know where Kensei's revival pod is if there were only two there.

So following this weeks chapter I saw a video on youtube titled: "Aizen Has Been Set Free!! -- Ichigo Vs Aizen Vs Yhwach Final Fight Expectations!" now at first I was like "What? This chapter has literally NOTHING to do with any of them" but then I watched it... AND HOLY FUCKING SHIT! He's gotta point. So here is the video so you can see it for yourselves, but the gist of it is he's saying that Aizen might've potentially been freed as we know that one of the key's to his chair is INSIDE of Kyoraku's chest... which just got a hole blown through it. So the key might've been set free OR destroyed which potentially might've freed that lock from Aizen. HOLY SHIT! |

Okay, several things.
1. This (now) owl guy is just feeling more and more like Tousen 2.0. inb4 "Miracle" has power to randomly replicate any other Quincy powers and steals Owl guy's powers at a critical moment in this fight.
2. NO. HE DID NOT JUST SAY THIS IS WHAT DESPAIR LOOKS LIKE. THAT IS ULQ'S THING. THIS GUY IS NOT COOL ENOUGH TO TAKE ULQ'S THING.
3. Wait... so ninja girl is Nanao's Zanpakuto?
4. Has Shunsui been using Nanao's Zanpakuto this whole time too? Has he been using two DIFFERENT Zanpakuto? Not his own dual? Is that a thing now? Or is he just using hers as an offhand weapon because fk it why not?
5. If not, then is Lisa about to have some crazy OP Zan powers and fk Mr. Owl up?
edit: as for Odd's key theory, p. sure it says a hole was blown through his stomach (will go back to look where it was visually in a sec) so probably not. and either way Aizen was rendered incapacitated by NANANA NAJAHKOOP before they even went up to Soul Palace and by now the shields or whatever to get up there are surely back in place so the fk is he gonna do about anything anymore lol

To answer your 4th question: Yes it would seem he has been using her zanpakuto. If you look at his bankai, it features only ONE of the spirits rather than two or a modified version of the two (As if they were to be combined).

Wondering if my "Nanao's Zan is seriously OP" theory is gonna actually be a thing. Maybe it's too powerful to be wielded by her (or at least was when she first attained it) and thus Shunsui promised to hold on to it for her since he could control its power (or at least prevent Nanao from trying to use it). I DON'T KNOW, KUBO WHY DID YOU DO THIS THIS MAKES NO SENSE Can we build a time machine to go to next Wednesday night/Thursday morning now? |

Who knows at this point. Maybe your theory is true. Maybe Nanao achieved Bankai prematurely and cant control her Zan or her Zan simply does not like her.
Or maybe its something else that Kubo is going to throw at us.
But one thing makes me curious, if Shunsui has a particular reason for having twin Zan. Does that mean Ukitake has a similar reason for dual wielding?

Maybe? Either way we'll probably never know since he's dead now.
Also, if I remember right, in the Zanpakuto Rebellion arc (where Kubo got the designs for Shunsui/Nanao's Zan Spirits from) Nanao and the ninja girl spirit had some serious issues communicating. Wonder if that will come into play. Kinda sorta supports my theory a little if he goes with that.

Kinda been confirmed a bit. If you read this, it is the translated new novel that was released which had some illustrations by Tite Kubo himself. It is a good read (bias due to Izuru being one of my top 3 favorite characters)

Kubo brigs back vizard for like 3 panels.
Kubo uses vizard as worf barrage.
Vizard have been so out of loop for so long and were so ineffective even 200 chapters ago I can't think of anyone more stupid to use.
Like everything else aside I was so disappointed in that bit. It seemed so completely pointless.
