A clouded afternoon. That wasn't really a great sign. This was the first time ever Raiden managed to get every crisis core member together. He slowly sighed. And then the weather seemed like it would make a turn for the worse. It didn't bode anything good. They had agreed on meeting infront of a small restaurant in the seireitei, chat over some drinks and snacks. It'd be easier that in the seireitei aswell, having one generalised location, rather than to travel great lengths in the human world. He had caught some rumours that one of the substitute shinigami was infact an egyptian. He didn't really bother to investigate much, something he should have done. It'd be an issue if the egyptian didn't speak japanese. And, well, Raiden's English was lacking. He understood it, could string several words together. But, all in all. He was horrible at it. He looked around, seemed like no one was around just yet.
"Nervous?" His eyebrow quirked at the hiss that pulled through his head. "'Course I ain't." He replied to the blade on his back. Then again, he knew it was a lie, worse was that he knew that Hebikiba heard all of his thoughts, so, lying to the zanpakutou was not only ineffective, it was just plain stupid. And ofcourse he was nervous, there were people more powerful than him. Remembering the woman that had once saved him from an arrancar. Also a substitute shinigami. Someone he looked up to.

Daichi tugged at his shihakusho awkwardly, wondering if it was acceptable casual wear in the Soul Society. He wasn't too up to speed on the daily lives of Seireitei residents who weren't Shinigami. Still, it wasn't like he could wear his human clothes; he was a spirit. Today, rather than Shunpo, he simply walked the streets, trying to remember the directions to the restaurant that Raiden had indicated would be their meeting place. The weather was ominous, but then, they'd be in a restaurant anyway. It would be nice to see the rest of the Crisis Core; he didn't think they'd ever all been together in one room since that day Mayuri kidnapped them all. Even then, there might've been more than one wave of Crisis Core volunteers. This would be a much more pleasant meeting, hopefully.
He spotted another man carrying a zanpakuto. At least, he assumed that it was a zanpakuto. It didn't resemble any of the oriental swords that sealed zanpakuto normally took the form of, and there was no reason to release Shikai here, but some people like Captain Kenpachi or that Kurosaki that he'd heard about were always in Shikai. This man was probably one of them. The substitute approached with an upraised hand. He greeted the man in Japanese, which was usually a safe bet in Seireitei. "Hello! Raiden Saitou, right? I'm Honoka Daichi. Pleasure to meet you." He glanced at the restaurant. "Glad I found the place alright, I'm not used to taking the streets anywhere but the training fields."

Meeting all the other Substitute Shinigami? Hell yeah! Jumala had already met his long time childhood friend recently because of this, so for him it seemed it could only get better. He was stronger and faster, he knew that as fact. He'd noticed he was able to traverse very, very far distances seemingly with little effort and in a very small time span than he had before. His ability to replicate that which he had done on that fateful night seemed to be getting easier and easier and he seemed to be able to simply force Sand to materialize out of almost anything who's base components were of the earth (or earth-like). So he figured why not? What was the worst thing that could possibly happen?
With his Zanpakuto at his side, he felt nobody could beat them. If he was to be compared to an Ancient Egyptian, then his Zanpakuto would be his Empress. He controlled the masses as the Pharoh while she was protected by him and his Elite Soldiers. But today was not about him or his Zanpakuto, today was about meeting the others he'd be helping out and that would be helping him out. When he finally arrived he gave a quick bow to the two that had already been there and introduced himself "Greetings, I am Jumala Hiekka, Representative of the 2nd Division.

So I will take this burden on and become the holy one
Kaori had met a few of the other substitute shinigamis during the time she'd come to represent her division, but rarely more than one, and never all of them at once. And though Kaori had perfected her mask of indifference long ago, not even she could school her features to keep her emotions from cracking that very mask. Her lips twitched upwards in the barest hints of a smile.
She'd finally be able to meet the others who would likely fight by her side in the human world. Now would be a good time to learn each others strengths and weaknesses, quirks and habits. Though Kaori doubted few of the others had those thoughts on their minds, Kaori was a creature of duty, she'd been raised on it long before she met her captain. Duty and honor were basically ingrained on her bones.
It wasn't difficult to find their place of meeting, and Kaori paused outside the restaurant Raiden had informed them as their meeting place. She entered after a quick observation, blue eyes quickly catching the familiar faces of two of the three gathered there. Kaori approached the three of them, offering them a bow in greeting. "I am Kaori Mejiro, representative of the sixth division. It's nice to meet you."

Raiden turned around to see a shinigami walking up to him. Hand raised. "Yo." He plainly said as he also stuck his hand up in a rather lazy wave, approaching Honoka. "The one 'n only. The pleasure's mine." He said with a curt nod. At least someone had responded to the invitation. "Weren't th'instructions I gave ya'll clear?" He asked, lowering his hand again, resting it loosely on his belt. He seemed to don a more rugged style, the left sleeve and shoulder of his shihakusou missing. Thick armour on his left arm, underneath bandages covering his skin that covered the rest of his chest aswell. He turned around as he felt another presence drawing near. Another substitute shinigami. Who bowed lightly, introducing himself. He returned the light bow. Aiming to be respectful.
They'd probably fight alongside in the human world. Better to have a friend at your back than an enemy. "Raiden Saitou. Seventh squad's representative. Raid fer' friends." He stood up straight again. "Nice meetin' ya 'n thanks fer' comin' along." He looked around, but couldn't really see the two others he had invited. The two other substitutes who's whereabouts were known. He shrugged. Maybe they were busy. Assigned on patrol or something. He turned around, gesturing for the two to follow him in. The restaurant was cozy on the inside. A place painted with warm colors and nicely lit. A waitress smiled gently as the substitutes made their way in. "Afternoon, Izumi-chan. Table fo' three." Raiden knew most of the waiters and waitresses here by name, seeing as he occasionally visited. And sometimes even tended to help out with bringing around the food. It sometimes got very busy in the seireitei. He turned around as he heard a soft voice behind him and the group. "Make that four." He said, before turning around, returning another light bow. "Seems like we're meetin' in better circumstances now." A pained smirk formed on his lips. "Thanks fer' savin' my ass back there. 'Aven't had the chance to be properly thankin' ya." as the waitress, Izumi told them she'd lead them to their table.
