Name: Yūrei (Ghost)
Class: Shikai Technique
Tier: II
Type: Passive
Range: 100 metes diameter
Description: Upon releasing Shikai, a spectral shadow that looks like Akatsuki spawns. Though, the difference is that the shadow holds Yami's blade, while Akatsuki holds Nishokku's blade. This shadow can move on it's own and has a shared conciousness with Akatsuki. This shadow cannot harm or be harmed. If the shadow crosses a distance greater than 100 meters away from Akatsuki, it dissappears and reforms on Akatsuki's current location. While Akatsuki cannot literally see through the eyes of the shadow, he knows what the shadow sees, knows what he hears. The shadow can utilise Akatsuki's stepping techniques and moves at the same speed Akatsuki would. A major drawback to this is that illusions that affect sight or sound can also be cast upon the spectral clone, causing Akatsuki to be under control of these illusions.

Name: Kōkan (Switch)
Class: Shikai Technique
Tier: III
Type: Defensive/Teleportation
Description: Akatsuki immediatly swaps places with his spectral clone, gaining acces to the blade the clone holds, be it Yami's or Nishokku's This is instant teleportation under 50 meters, though, if the clone is further away than fifty meters, he requires some concentration.

Name: Kōgeki (Aggression)
Class: Shikai Technique
Tier: II/III
Type: Passive/Supplementary
Range: Personal
Description: Holding Nishokku, Akatsuki recieves a x2 buff to strength. When activated, his strikes deal each tier III damage. This technique, active or passive, requires Akatsuki to hold Nishokku's blade.

Name: Jinsoku-sei (Swiftness)
Class: Shikai Technique
Tier: II/III
Type: Passive/Supplementary
Range:
Description: Holding Yami, Akatsuki recieves a x2 buff to speed. When activated, his body becomes completely dark, the difference between his shadow and himself are unable to be seen with the bare eye for one post. This technique, active or passive requires Akatsuki to hold Yami's blade.
