BELLEZA ASESINO

The only good Hollow is a dead one.

APPEARANCE

Belleza's appearance can primarily be found here with a few additions:

Her Hollow mask fragment is dome shaped and worn akin to a cap, usually hidden under her hat.
Her dual Zanpakutou are kept at her hips when not in use, each one attached by a sturdy rope that is worn around her thighs. The rope functions as a makeshift "holster" from which she is able to draw and holster them at will.
Two diagonal scars on either of her palms.
Her Hollow hole, which is located just below her chest and above her stomach.

PERSONALITY

Once an insecure, frail Hollow, Belleza Asesino has evolved into a violent, sadistic, sultry Arrancar who will stop at nothing until she has slain the one responsible for ruining her life. At first glance, an air that commands respect floats around her. The way she speaks is unique in comparison to the other Arrancar in Hueco Mundo, using rather brash, sometimes twisted terminology that hardly fits her feminine features. She derives a twisted glee out of torturing or instilling fear in other Hollow, but she isn't extremely upfront about it. She can be just as well spoken as her former Captain, and isn't afraid to speak her mind when she feels she or others have been wronged. One thing Belleza has gotten good at over the years is playing a role, putting on a different mask to appease those around her and get what she wants. She knows the appearance she has and uses it to her advantage, lacking the common sense of shame or morals one might expect... Then again, she is an Arrancar so maybe there's not a lot to be expected.

One large difference between her and most Arrancar is her animosity toward Shinigami... because she's never met one! Belleza knows nothing about the world outside Hueco Mundo apart from a few stories she had been told by her former Captain about the Human World. Her concerns lie in Hueco Mundo, and until she has taken out the object of her ire she could care less about other worlds. Deep down Belleza is an extremely broken individual, having witnessed the slaughter of her family and the death of her beloved right before her very eyes. Intimidation is a tactic she uses and enjoys using, and while she isn't against seduction it doesn't last for very long. Having lived akin to the image of a "pirate" for a good chunk of her life, Belleza has gained a penchant for robbing others and will frequently wait until a weaker Hollow has stumbled across something nice before going for the throat. It's ironic in a messed up way, because Belleza has become just like the three Adjuchas she was saved from those many years ago.

Vengeance is a driving force in Belleza's personality, and she believes firmly that what goes around comes around. The problem with this mindset is that she doesn't realize the negative consequences of her own actions and, because of that, is eventually going to get bit in the ass by karma herself. In that way, Belleza can be seen as hypocritical: Though she would step on anyone in her way and even shoot people down for being between her and the man that ruined her life, she will instantly turn her guns on anyone she sees attacking the weak just for the sake of harassing them. Evolution and survival of the fittest, while initially embraced but gotten rid of when Belleza passed into being a Gillian, have now once again been embraced full force. If one brings about their own destruction, the last thing Belleza is going to do is assist them. She has developed tunnel vision in her pursuit of vengeance, though this does not mean she has an entirely blind eye toward the wicked dealings going on around her.

The final thing to mention is how Belleza's personality changes when she enters Resurreccion. Swearing that she reserves Resurreccion solely for those that have truly earned her ire, including the Vasto Lorde Arrancar she intends to eliminate one day, Belleza becomes everything the legend of the Scourge of the Sands represents. She reverts to her grotesque form as an initial Hollow but far more monstrous. Whilst initially she had hated her appearance and wished to be beautiful, when Belleza unleashes her Resurreccion she fully embraces that she came from a monstrous, grotesque form and has a personality to match. Guttural shrieks of rage and violent tentacle lashings are in store for any that find themselves unfortunate enough to witness this change. When Belleza finally does revert from her Resurreccion state, there are still residual bestial tendencies and it may take a good bit for her to finally revert to her "normal" self.

HISTORY

The infinite sands of Hueco Mundo can be a cruel place, and so few know that better than Belleza. Details of her past life – or if she even had one to begin with – remain forgotten to this day, her earliest memory being her days as an initial, weak, grotesque Hollow. Most if not all of her time during this period in her life was spent devouring the poor, unsuspecting inhabitants of Hueco Mundo whose curiosity got the best of them. It was difficult to tell that she was even female, and it was hard to put her amongst the other beings that inhabited Hueco Mundo. It wasn’t until years later, when she evolved from her base state to that of a Gillian, that she gained a newfound emotion: envy. She was envious of the Hollow around her, finding the ones whom identified as female far more beautiful than she. The nameless, squid-like monster yearned to be pretty or, at least, be seen as pretty. Alas, the desert showed no mercy and frequently she would find herself in situations where she had no choice but to fight. Many times she fought against groups of Hollow intent on devouring her and evolving themselves, and in the fights she was unable to win she instead fled. She was always good at that… Fleeing. Running away for the sake of survival.

One fateful night, the Gillian was surrounded by large, strong Adjuchas Hollow. They had no intention of devouring her and using her to evolve, but instead were just looking for a meal. The ones who could speak jeered and berated her, wondering aloud if she could even stand her own smell. Enraged and going against her usual inclination of flight, the Gillian was tossed around and toyed with as each of the Adjuchas took their turns slowly ripping her apart. Just as she was about to meet the sweet release of death, a loud, boisterous laugh rose into the night sky, accompanied by what could only be described as the clanging of metal. Bullets of reiryoku, noticed by the Gillian to be similar to her own Cero albeit weaker and faster, ripped through the Adjuchas until one was left standing. A characteristic sound of boots squishing against the sands rang in the Gillian’s ears as she looked up and saw him. A tall, imposing man wielding a deadly looking blade at his hip. His finger lowered, evidently where the bullets had just come from, and the only word that could accurately describe his grin was sickening.

"You crossed into my territory, boy. Know what that means?"

The man didn't even wait for a sign of confirmation. A shock runs down the Gillian's spine as her eyes meet the man's, and for the first time she had felt as if someone was looking past her grotesque appearance. Though wounded, she gets control enough of her mind to see what she had missed initially: A large ship sitting there against the sands. Three Adjuchas leap down from the ship and scramble to the man's side, nearly knocking one another over. Two of them have fearful looks on their faces but one, the most intimidating and wicked looking of the three, matches the grin the clear elder of the group held. The surviving Adjuchas from the Bala fire attempts to run away, but the two fearful Adjuchas are quicker. They block off his escape route, and soon he finds himself caught between two Adjuchas ready to unleash twin Cero upon him and the as of yet unidentified man. The man steps forward, a gesture strong enough metaphorically that the surviving Adjuchas drops to it's knees and pleads for mercy. This clearly amuses the man, who rests a set of fingers against the hilt of his cutlass.

"Prancing about like you own the place and now you want mercy? 'Fraid I can't honor that request, Adjuchas."

The energy keeping the Gillian's eyes open begins to dwindle, but she will never forget the next series of sounds that haunt her mind to this day: A shriek of terror, the drawing of a blade, vicious cries of gut-wrenching agony... and then silence. Before she loses consciousness, the Gillian is able to hear the unidentified man's last few words.

"Take her along, boys... and make it quick. Being out in the open like this makes me queasy."

When she finally comes to, she is greeted face to face with the man and instinctively moves to leap away. He grabs her, suddenly, by one of her tentacles and lets out a soothing noise she had never heard before. His words are calm, kind, unfitting that of the display he had shown before she passed out. As her mind registers the situation, despite words escaping her, she takes in the fact that her wounds were tended to and she was upon the man's ship. Though he lets go of her tentacle, she can see him remove a glove from his hand and slowly move it outward. Instinctively she draws herself away and turns from him, ashamed of her appearance. She couldn't remember the last time she spoke, which was why the very action seemed foreign to her. There was nothing feminine in her tone, and it was hard to make out actual words amid the gurgling, but somehow the man managed to understand her and respond.

"Do not... touch... I am... ugly."

"Lass, never upon these sands have I seen someone more beautiful."

The words hits her harder than any Hollow she had ever come across. As she moves to turn back around, the man doesn't wait for his opportunity. He takes it. His palm lays across her face, and for the first time ever the Gillian feels truly beautiful. He asks for a name but she gives him none. She never had a name, or if she did during her previous life she couldn't remember it. The man turns away and runs an index finger along his upper lip, thinking. Lost in thought. Eventually he snaps his fingers and turns around, once more getting close enough to lay his palm against her face. And, of course, once again she leans against it and closes her eyes.

"Belleza. I can think of no more fitting name than that. Do you like the sound of it? If so, I have a proposal for you. But first, it is only fitting that you know my name. I am Asesino Vallenzi, but you might call me 'Captain.'"

Belleza. Such a pretty name... Did it really fit her? She couldn't tell and, quite frankly, she didn't care. This man had saved her life, taken her in, made her feel like an individual rather than a monster. She would go to the ends of the Earth for this man... Coincidentally enough, it seemed that was exactly where he intended to take her. Over the next many years, Belleza was taught what it took to be a member of Asesino's small, growing crew of Hollow. She was taught how to navigate the ship across the sands, and spent a good portion of her free time within the Captain's Quarters. A whole new world had opened up to her, one she never thought possible in Hueco Mundo. He explained to her what he was - An Arrancar - and though she inquired on how she could be one alongside him, he forbid the gesture. Though he allowed her to eventually evolve into an Adjuchas, he did not want her to go through the pain being an Arrancar might cause.

The years were good to the crew of the White Sand, their main purpose being to live out their lives in their own territory but also expanding across the desert. They were far enough away from the location of Las Noches that they never found themselves involved in Sosuke Aizen's affairs. Unfortunately, however, they would consistently come across Hougyoku made Arrancar who attempted to board the White Sand and slay it's Captain, only to find themselves shot down by it's crew. Every story has it's tragedy, however, and Belleza's life couldn't continue being as pleasant as it had been. One night, the only night where she had laid with a completely vulnerable Captain Vallenzi, the White Sand was attacked in a sneak attack led by a Vasto Lorde Arrancar. It was during this fight that Captain Vallenzi, enraged at the very action, unleashed his Zanpakutou and Belleza witnessed his Resurreccion... and from there it all made sense. Asesino was a grotesque, wicked beast in his Resurreccion, utilizing his immense spiritual power to overcome the enemy crew. What he hadn't counted on was the Vasto Lorde Arrancar unleashing his. The Vasto Lorde's Resurreccion completely overwhelmed the crew of the White Sand, which caused Belleza to be knocked from the ship. She watched in horror, screaming out her lover's name, as the White Sand was ripped to shreds. Crew members whom she had called family were ripped, slashed, and teared to pieces. Overcome by despair, Belleza did the only thing she could think to do: she ran.

She ran as fast as she could, hiding when necessary. She eventually came back, since she had gained navigation skills from her Captain, but what she witnessed broke her. Dismembered pieces of Hollow littered the sands, and in the wreckage of the White Sand stood wooden spears with Hollow masks upon them. It was akin to decapitation for them, and nearly disgusted her to the point where she took her own life. A low, rough groan shakes her out of her suicidal desire and she rushes toward the source of the noise. Somehow, miraculously, Captain Asesino had survived... But he knew he was on borrowed time. Hollow were meant to be heartless, soulless creatures... So why were the two of them crying? Just as he had done when they first met, Asesino lays his palm upon Belleza's face and utters out his last words.

"Belleza, my darling... You are the only one left. What I said before, about becoming an Arrancar... Stow it away. Stow it away and, when you're safe, let it free. These bastards sneaked into our territory, destroyed our ship - our home, and slaughtered our brothers and sisters. Let none stand in your way, Belleza. Slay every damned Hollow you find if necessary, but find the bastard that did this... and don't give him an easy end."

Rather than come out with a proclamation of his love and leave with sweet words, Asesino Vallenzi lit a fire inside of Belleza. He was right... How could she think about her own feelings while her brothers and sisters must be avenged? She takes the man's broken Zanpakutou and stabs it into the sands, walking away from the wreckage of her past home. Beauty was no longer her main concern, nor the driving emotion that kept her going. ...No. For Belleza, vengeance would be her gas. It wasn't long after that that Belleza removed her mask and became an Arrancar, gaining her Zanpakutou in the form of twin pistols signifying the night she had been saved by a "hail of bullets." Utilizing her appearance in a variety of wicked ways, and taking her beloved first name as her own last name, Belleza Asesino became a known figure throughout Hueco Mundo. Though not extremely noteworthy, legend drifts across the sands that if you meet up with the Scourge of the Sands, your best bet is to surrender... and only then, maybe, will she extend mercy.

The reality of the situation? Belleza intends on following up with the final order of her Captain: Slaying every damned Hollow she finds, until she can eventually track down the one Vasto Lorde Arrancar that took the ones she loved and make him pay for ruining her life.

In it's sealed form, Venganza (Spanish for "Vengeance") takes the form of twin pistols (left) that she is able to fire condensed spiritual blasts from that move at Bala speed and pack the punch of a cero.

RESURRECCIÓN APPEARANCE

In her Resurreccion state, Belleza reverts to the grotesque, Hollow form she held during her days as an initial Hollow but far, far larger. She instantly grows to a maximum size of 269 ft. (25 sq. meters) and becomes a wicked sea monster not unlike that of the legendary Kraken.

Alrighty, first off, welcome to the site.

You need to fill in your miniprofile. Your OOC alias and hover image are correct, though, you forgot to add a link to this profile. Just copy paste this one in the profile bar. The link doesn't change when we move it, the URLs are unique, so, that works out.

Your sealed form can't be any type of firearm. Arrancar weapons are bladed most of the time, but always melee type of items.

Tenta-Beam!
Does each beam deal tier IV damage? If so, the cooldown is stacked for each beam as a tier IV technique, making the cooldown a lot longer, portraying the situation with five tier IV damage would be a cooldown of roughly 50 posts. This stacking damage is also limited to five tier IV, you have six as each tentacle shoots a beam with tier IV damage.

Mist: Thanks, glad to be here! (Total few second/minute deja vu) I went ahead and took care of the miniprofile link, but addressing the issue of the sealed form being a type of firearm I went ahead and pulled this out from the Arrancar Guide. Am I misunderstanding this? I understand that most if not all of the Arrancar shown in the series itself had bladed weapons as their release, but seeing as how firearm Zanpakutou are allowed and it disappears during the release I didn't feel there would be an issue. (Since Resurreccion is just an Arrancar temporary reverting to the form they had before removing their masks.) I've also tweaked Tenta-Beam! a bit so I hope that's no longer causing issues.

That is in reference to when they are released, in a sealed state a zanpakuto must always be a blade or in blade form so whilst you're welcome to have your guns in resurreccion, in sealed state your weapon must be a blade.
