[div style="width:100%;background-color:#121110;font:18px oswald;text-align:center;color:#fafafa;"]PERSONALITY[/div] Mikayla, being a girl of a noble descent thanks to her bloodline, is thought of as being refined, polite, and disciplined. However, the truth is that Mikayla is just like any other happy teenage girl being that she: goes to a public high school in Karakura, has crushes, likes to have fun, does what she chooses, dresses casually, acts, and hangs out like a normal girl. At the same time, she is disciplined enough to do work around the house, studies the family heritage and does participate actively in family functions and joint functions with the sister family, the Akimotos, where her rival, Kiyomi is from. She prefers not to be a burden to her mother, Sakura Akiyama, since her father is overseas and rarely sees him. That said, she cherishes her mother above all else to the point that she does anything possible to make her happy. Aside from that, some of her hobbies include singing, dancing, modeling, playing video games, cosplaying, cooking, swimming, and sparring against Kiyomi. Some of her likes include honesty, Pocky, strawberry milk, teriyaki chicken, and pears.
Intellectually, Miku has a lot on her plate. From learning standard sword fighting styles, cooking recipes, as well as having to learn the general knowledge of Japan and America, she’s never at a loss for new things to learn. All of this studying has helped her learn quicker and retain information without much difficulty. As such, Mika is quite the intelligent young woman and exceptional cook. However, she doesn’t flaunt her intelligence unless it is requested of her or if she feels like being a smartypants. Socially, Miku does well. She generally isn’t shy to anyone. She is thoughtful, considerate, compassionate, and friendly for the most part and will try to get along with everyone. Every once in a while she may turn into a bit of a tease and become flirtatious and even pretends to be tsundere just to be playful. That said, she does have a tendency to flaunt her well-proportioned body and especially her round butt since she didn’t really inherit the large breasts of her mother. In addition, she does have a tendency to grope butts that she likes. However, she may not be one to search for a relationship since her it would be difficult for her to balance a relationship on top of her other antics, as such she can display Tsundere attributes when faced with accusations about someone she likes, and other embarrassing situations. Aside from that, she doesn’t have a problem with race or ethnicity and will happily befriend anyone given that they don’t go overboard with groping.
When it comes to combat, Mika is systematic. She does well to make sure that she utilizes everything that she learns and rarely makes the same mistake twice when she’s face with an opponent that she’s either faced before, or has intelligence on. She knows the basics of combat and knows the danger of underestimating her opponent and she is an excellent strategist. She has a preference to be in the thick of the fight with her fullbring though she can also double as a ranged user. Mikayla also seems to share a sense of honor similar to Kiyomi, meaning that she will rarely interrupt a 1v1 fight. It’s safe to say that Mikayla takes combat seriously and will not allow her normal fun-loving nature interrupt or hinder her ability to be able to fight to the fullest of her capabilities. However, once combat is over, she has no problem returning to her normal self.
[div style="width:100%;background-color:#121110;font:18px oswald;text-align:center;color:#fafafa;"]HISTORY[/div] [font color="00CCFF"][b][u][i]The Akiyama Family[/i][/u][/b][/font] The Akiyama family is a long-standing bloodline that is the direct descendants from knights of the Medieval Era. The family tree is expansive and spans over several countries including Germany, Japan, America, Spain, and Russia. It is likely that many of the members of the Akiyama family have blood from all of these countries. Many of them developed spiritual powers over the years, and due to the rarity, they were considered special. Those with spiritual powers often took it upon themselves to hunt Hollows to protect their families and pass them on to their offspring until it became a tradition and a duty of the spiritually aware in the Akiyama. For the most part, the Akiyama family shares a lot of the same traits as the Akimoto family, who they developed ties with after members of the families either fought together or saved one another repeatedly. As time progressed to the present, to avoid complication and “falling behind” in a technologically and socially advancing world, neither family really exhibits anything of their ancestry aside from fighting style and the few who still perform Hollow-hunting duty. They do not follow the ranking and social system, and following the honor system is entirely optional. However, the Akimoto and Akiyama do still hold activities and events between the two families to maintain their relationship. These events are usually organized between members of each family much like a “play date” or a “reunion” for a holiday. Such activities include spars, barbecues and tournaments either to celebrate the ties of the family, homage to their ancestors, or to display the progress and friendly competition of their “Knights”, as the spiritually aware are called. They would normally take place in arenas or areas held by their ancestors.
[font color="00CCFF"][b][u][i]Ordinary, except….[/i][/u][/b][/font] During a visit to an old castle at the edge of town, Sakura Akiyama was attacked by a Hollow while she was 7 months pregnant with her child, Mikayla. Thankfully, her husband Ryuu was with her and managed to distract the Hollow while Sakura hid in a drawer nearby and prepared a binding spell. After binding the creature, Ryuu summons his spiritual might and cleaves the monster’s mask in half with a blade of light, casting it off in a mist of black energy. Despite their success, Ryuu could not prevent the initial strike on his wife that resulted in her being pierced by one of the Hollow’s sharp claws. Sakura survives in the long run and even gives birth to her daughter, Mikayla Akiyama, a few months later. Unknown to them were the implications that came with Sakura being attacked by a Hollow. Following Mikayla’s birth, Ryuu was praised for his heroic actions in saving his wife and being one of the few in the Akiyama family line to be able to down a Hollow with almost no weaponry.
After Mikayla’s birth, Sakura was given sole responsibility of raising her when Ryuu was sent alone to America where he would spend most of the year from that time on, training other members of the family who are also spiritually aware. Sakura for the most part raised Mikayla like any loving mother would, having to act as the father as well due to Ryuu rarely being around, though they were financially covered. The years passed on in peace despite the not-so-peaceful manner in which Mikayla’s life began. Sakura participated in many family functions where Mikayla would often play with her cousin Rosalynn and her friend Kiyomi as toddlers. When it came time for Mikayla to start school, Mikayla fit in without a problem. Her time with the two noble families made it easier for her to make friends among others and developed her social skills quite quickly. She would often bring her friends home to introduce them to her mother in their modest home in Karakura Town. But, regardless of her general education, Mikayla also began to learn about the Akiyama family and a little bit of the Akimoto family during her early years of school and even volunteered to train in swordsmanship.
From family functions and the joint functions with the Akimoto family, Mikayla absorbed information like a sponge. Since her father wasn’t around often, she even took it upon herself to start learning how to cook at a young age. What made Mikayla stand out even more is the fact that, while she was a normal a girl as any, she was both intelligent and a great swordswoman and a great singer. As she spent more time with the Akimotos as ties between the two families grew stronger, Mikayla found herself sparring against members of the other family as a part of her training with a straight sword. Surprisingly enough, her opponent most of the time was her best friend, Kiyomi, who was one of the Akimoto’s finer swordswomen. Their sparring quickly grew to a competitive level where they would try to outdo the other constantly, officially marking them as friendly rivals. Many a time, their sparring matches were a spectacle to behold and were often saved for last in competitions. At home, Mikayla did her best to pull her own weight, nearing the age of 15 and spent a lot of time with her mother, Sakura. She did everything she could from cooking for her, washing with her in the shower to get hard to reach spots, keeping her company, taking a job to help pay bills, and even continued to sleep with her mother so she didn’t feel lonely.
The bond between Sakura and Mikayla grew strong over the next couple of years to the point that they treated each other like best friends. It was on her 16th birthday that she received her special hairclips from her mother as a special gift. Not only did this increase her pride as Sakura’s daughter, but it also awoke a special power within her, brought forth by her love of her mother, her pride as an Akiyama, and her love of music and singing. During one of her many singing sessions did this power come to life as her Fullbring, changing her outfit and causing the words that she sung to become empowered and take a physical and visual effect.
Thankfully, she was intelligent enough to quickly understand that she has a special power and immediately began to teach herself how to control it. She told her mother of this power since this power isn’t unheard of and it isn’t frowned upon but in fact searched for within the Akimoto and Akiyama families and was given her blessing to start further training. At around this time, her friends, Kiyomi and Erika had also begun their own training alongside another friend of theirs, Karina Sasaki.
As Karina, Kiyomi, Mikayla, and Erika trained together, and performed patrols around Karakura to help spirits move onto the Soul Society, it eventually came to their attention that Karina had drawn the attention of the Gotei 13 and had become a Substitute Shinigami. While Kiyomi and Erika weren’t exactly keen on involving themselves with an organization outside of their own family, Mikayla was more of a risk taker and wanted to expand the influence of the Akiyama family.
Following Karina’s offer to become a Shinigami representative, Mikayla took it upon herself to seize the Gotei 13’s awareness of the human world and start showing her worth to the Shinigamis that she would encounter in her patrols. It didn’t take long until she too, was extended an offer to become a substitute Shinigami, like Karina, to which she quickly accepted. Her time, at that moment, as a Fullbring, was short, but even then, she was eager to adapt to her new abilities as a Shinigami. She gave her robes a custom style, similar to how Karina had customized hers, and took all the free time that she could to adapt to the use of Kido, reiryoku techs and communicating with her zanpakutou.
Mika took whatever lessons she could from her fellow Shinigami, especially Karina since it seemed like she was actually learning quicker than Mikayla was, which was intimidating to her. Progress was actually slow at first, despite Mikayla’s work ethic, but as the lessons started to sink in, it built momentum to the point that Mikayla had finally attained the use of her Shikai state by overcoming perilous odds against a major threat to her life while out on a Hollow patrol one evening alone. After getting her Shikai unlocked and begun a relationship with her zanpakutou spirit, Lily, Mikayla returned her focus to improving her skills with her Fullbring, to make sure that she does not slack and put herself in a position where she would be left helpless or dead.
With a lot left to learn and mounting responsibilities as a daughter and a Shinigami representative, it’s fair to say that Mikayla’s hectic life is about to become even more busy than ever before. The lighter wounds like mere scratches are removed in one post, not per wound, but in total. Deeper wounds like large cuts and lacerations take longer to cure, taking up to 2 posts.
Only those in Squad Four with Above Average Healing or those in the Kidoshu with Above Average Kido can attempt the next stage of this technique, healing broken bones and deep lacerations over 3 osts, with Kidoshu taking one post longer. Those with Advanced Healing or Advanced Kido can go further and can heal even lost limbs, which take about 4 posts to regenerate. Kidoshu members will take 2 posts longer to heal this. Some internal injuries can be healed, while injuries like cuts in the heart cannot. This technique cannot heal poisons and other ailments.
[div style="font:18px economica;"]KIDOU SPECIALISATIONS[/div] [i]Eishōhaki (詠唱破棄, "Incantation Abandonment"):[/i] The skill in which a Kidō practitioner skips using a spoken incantation completely, but it drastically weakens the spell. This is applied as a 1-2 tier drop in the spells power depending on ones Kidou mastery, 2 for Beginner up to Advanced, and 1 for Mastered and above. However this also lowers the spells cooldown to match the lowered tier, to a minimum of Tier I.e.g A Tier IV Kidou be cast with Eishohaki as a tier II, its cooldown will also be the same at 0 posts.

The speed is achieved through a variety of the user’s Fullbring abilities as unlike other Stepping techniques, this one has a lot more freedom and versatility. It’s at first initiated by pulling on the soul of the ground or air beneath their feet, in which Fullbringers can increase its elasticity to bounce off objects, turn quickly, enhance jumping ability or slightly boost physical strikes as well as the ordinary high-speed movement. This outfit features a gray sleeveless collared top, with cyan blue triangular frills along the bottom hem and the sleeve holes. It has detached sleeves that are black in color with blue trim, with small aesthetic digital panels on the sleeves, a cyan blue tie, a black mini skirt with the same digital design and blue trim as well as a blue loop that hangs from the belt down towards her thighs which are covered in black thigh high socks and black boots. She can leave the outfit compressed within the same silver bracelet on her right wrist inside the silver star.

[b]Name:[/b] The Siren [b]Class:[/b] Item (Songstress) [b]Type:[/b] Supplementary [b]Range:[/b] Self [b]Tier:[/b] III [b]Description:[/b] The true nature of the Songstress outfit is its ability to activate an effect where Mikayla is capable of using herself as a focal point and use her voice, via vocal cues and reiryoku fluctuations to activate Non-Release and Non-Kidou abilities. This is mainly just to throw off opponents and does not provide additional benefits aside from her not having to use otherwise obvious physical motions to activate her techniques.[/blockquote]
[div style="font:18px economica;"]REIATSU FEATURES[/div] Smell: None Colour: Purple, Black with purple outline (Masked) Aesthetics: It tends to surround her like an aura with wisps of reiatsu hanging around her, glowing like an aurora.
Riku’s appearance is darker than that of Mika’s, sporting black twin tail hair instead of the usual aqua. She also wears a traditional Japanese kimono, black in color, and shortened to her liking, wrapped in a red sash. Riku is often seen with a parasol that takes the place of Miku’s zanpakutou.
As expected of a Hollow like herself, Riku’s personality reflects that of sinister intent and temptation. She thrives in the ambient feeling of helplessness and the fear that one experiences when they are about to die, even if it is one of her own that fall to the hands of Mika. While Mika may have conquered her for the time being, it doesn’t stop her from taunting Mika with the hopes that she’ll be forced into combat or elevate her stress. Her sense of humor, on the other hand, is a bit more casual than one might expect, mainly teasing Mika when not taunting her, and does enjoy a good joke. Even if there are times where Mika and Riku co-exist in peace, it doesn’t avoid the fact that Riku still plans on taking Mika’s body when she least expects it.
Mika’s Hollow mask takes the form of a Kitsune mask similar to the one that Riku is seen wearing. It features a few more additions such as “whiskers” and a series of markings along the forehead with a golden jewel at the center. The coloring is red, black and white, detailed as a ying-yang pattern, showing “balance” between Mika’s hollow and Shinigami sides. The eyes are sharp in shape and point downward on the right and curved to the left with a mouth that starts as a smile on the white end and turns into a frown on the opposite end.
Mikayla’s most precious items are her unique square red, black-outlined hair clips that were given to her by her mother on her 16th birthday when she was officially considered an adult within the family. They have a base that she can use to tie her hair into pigtails and can slip the hair clips themselves over the base where the hold the unique ability to be able to levitate above the base using a minute amount of her reiryoku to hold them in place.
When Mikayla releases her Fullbring, a faint blue glow surrounds one of her hair pins, which then shoots into her right hand, granting her a normal-looking black colored 4 foot longsword with a sharp angle near the neck of the blade before straightening. It features star-like engravings colored teal at the neck of the blade just before the angle and a circular hilt guard and black hilt. Finally, her hair clips become circular and turn a dark blue.

She accomplishes this by using her long sword as a focus to either draw the chosen constellation using points of light (for added flair, purely aesthetic) or simply release the completed figure in front of her which then becomes the weapon. She can only form one of each weapon except for her long sword. [blockquote][b]Crimson Spear[/b] The associated constellation is a 6 point light in a spiral connected by a straight line, forming the shape of a coiled snake. Once summoned or the drawing is completed, the light swells and envelopes the longsword to form a basic looking spear. Its structure consists of a long gold shaft, a pointed end at the bottom and a triangular looking blade at the other end with silver edges with crimson red inlets and golden accents. The hidden function of this spear is its ability to separate into numerous sections, all connected by dark blue reiryoku chains, allowing it to extend up to 100Ms in front of her at Bala speed although retraction from full extension is a bit slower at Half bala speed. However, its dynamic movements make it an extremely useful tool. The triangular blade is also capable of splitting down the middle and separating slightly for additional attacks or strike as it were, hitting more like a pair of snake fangs instead of a single point.
[b]Name:[/b] Chimera Flare [b]Class:[/b] Fullbring [b]Type:[/b] Offensive [b]Tier:[/b] II-V [b]Range:[/b] Contact-100Ms [b]Description:[/b] Mika adjusts her longsword to her right side, aiming the tip towards her intended target as dark red reiryoku sprouts from the hilt and swirls around the blade. She then swings her blade downward, unleashing the energy as a “blade” of energy that travels along the ground for 100Ms as well as erupting skywards for 100Ms at the same time. The width of this attack is 1M and travels at a speed of Bala up to Tier II, Half bala at Tier III and Cero above that. Damage is dealt in a burning cut fashion, first cutting the impacted area, augmented by the tier of damage used, and then a searing burning sensation is left if it strikes exposed skin, equivalent to a second degree burn. Using this ability with two longswords allows her to half her power between the two blades which would still hit with the full force if both connect.
[blockquote][b]Crimson Spear[/b] Mika extends her spear and coils it around herself like a snake as the triangular blade splits down the center. The blade aims towards the opponent while an orb of dark red energy conforms between the two points of the blade before firing like a beam, starting at the ground in front of her and then lifting towards her opponent at max range similar to the Longsword version. As the beam carves along the ground, the reiryoku erupts skyward before the beam trickles off at 100Ms. The beam travels at the same speed as the longsword version.[/blockquote]

This ability works the same way regardless of which weapon is used to summon it.

Lily takes the appearance of an older teenage girl with long, straight black hair, dark green eyes, sporting a black jacket, headphones around her neck, a flame accessory in her hair, a white corset with a black bow at the center, a black plaid skirt and black and white striped thigh high socks. She generally holds her zanpakutou in her hand at all times.
[div style="font:18px economica;"]SPIRIT PERSONALITY[/div] Hiiro usu murasakiiro (緋色薄紫色) prefers to be called “Lily”, though Mikayla quickly forgets this and often calls her “Kuro” for the dark clothing she wears. A quiet girl, Lily really only speaks when absolutely necessary or when she needs to remind Mikayla that she prefers to be called Lily. She is a no nonsense type of person that prefers to get straight to the point rather than beat around the bush. While she may seem like someone that wouldn’t appreciate being a weapon to a Shinigami, she understands the symbiotic relationship she and Mikayla share together and thinks of her as a close friend.
[div style="font:18px economica;"]INNER WORLD[/div] The Inner world of Scarlet Lilac looks fairly simple. It is a world with a large, gently sloping hill decorated with lilac flowers under a beautiful star-filled night sky though the moon is much larger than what would be seen on earth and is in a perpetual state of a lunar eclipse. But unlike the real life equivalent of a lunar eclipse, the entire world is bathed in a soft crimson light that gives the lilacs the appearance of being red rather than purple.[/div] [div style="width:100%;background-color:#121110;text-align:center;font:20px oswald;color:#fafafa;"]SHIKAI[/div][div style="padding:10px;"][div style="font:18px economica;"]SHIKAI APPEARANCE[/div] In Shikai state, Mika’s zanpakutou blade bleeds a crimson red from base to tip with the hilt guard taking the shape of a golden crescent moon with a small black streak reaching along the middle of the blade from the base of the hilt. Surrounding the blade is a luminescence similar to what an aurora would be over the northern and southern poles.

While the red light is present, all objects within the area appear farther than they actually are and move slower than they actually are; this includes the abilities of both combatants though Mikayla’s vision remains normal. The opposite occurs when there is blue light consuming the battlefield where abilities appear closer and move faster than what is actually occurring. This ability does not cause any damage on its own and does not actually enhance speed or distance radius of the affected abilities. When used, the skewing amount in terms of distance and speed must be specified, though the maximum amount she can influence is up to twice in distance in either form and up to bala in speed in both forms, though abilities can appear as slow as cero/
[b]Name:[/b] Seismic Rift [b]Class:[/b] Shikai [b]Tier:[/b] II-IV [b]Type:[/b] Offensive [b]Range:[/b] 100Ms [b]Description:[/b] With this attack, Mikayla compresses her reiryoku to take on a slight gravitational twist. In its first form, Mika fires small 4 inch diameter orbs from the tip of her zanpakutou, colored white with a blue aura surrounding it. As it travels through the air, it creates a slight vortex of air in its wake for 10 meters around it, knocking opponents away up to 5 feet away. Upon impact, it hits with blunt force impact before it expands to a 10 foot orb, forcefully pushing all opponents caught in the blast 20 feet away. The ability can also be fired in a wave-like fashion by swinging the sword instead, traveling at the same rate, and reaching 20 feet in height and 4 inches in width, influencing the same area around it as the orb did with the force push. Projectiles move at bala speed at Tier II, Half bala at Tier III, and slow to Cero above that.
