Mitsuoki has created various techniques of his own that replicate other being's techniques. Bala, renamed to energy bullet was the first one of these, and was created by drawing crude, but understandable, visual representations of how he thought the reiryoku was supposed to move when the attack was beginning. After which, he applied his hypothesis by putting it into practice, and repeatedly practicing and altering his method until it was successful. Another example of him learning a Reiry technique like this was with Petrify.

After spending considerably more time understanding the subtle art of Reiryoku, Mitsuoki eventually created a variant of Cero [filler link] that is every bit as destructive as the hollow's version. Mitsuoki has also trained[filler link] with his zanpakuto spirits utilizing Reiryoku techniques in order to further his knowledge of them, making subtle changes to give his techniques the ability to melt through most material. Suffice to say, Mitsuoki has dedicated himself almost entirely to Reiryoku. Because of his mimicry of other races, intense studying of Reiryoku energy, and dedication to the mastery, Mitsuoki would have learned [Plagiarism].

Reason: Mitsuoki spent time applying his knowledge of his "Petrify" technique, and found a way to expand that into an area-effect, with more power.

[b]Description[/b]: Mitsuoki sends out a single wave of his Reiryoku that expands as cero speed in all directions for up to 50 meters. Anything it touches that's composed of spirit particles, other than release weapons, is instantly destroyed. An example would be a Tier VII barrier, or a trap-type attack, or incoming attacks. They are destroyed by Mitsuoki's energy causing the energy 'thing' to break down into its most basic of components.[hr]

Reason: Mitsuoki spent time studying what the Soul Society knew of a hollow's 'Cero' and created a hypothesis for how he could synthesize a version for Shinigami's. After applying his hypothesis multiple times and adjusting it to increase its power, he was able to learn it.

[b]Description[/b]: A massive, linear blast of highly condensed spiritual energy that moves at Cero Speed. Mitsuoki is able to control just how much energy he puts into the attack, which also controls just how powerful a blast he releases. The energy condenses even further upon impacting a surface before exploding violently. The size of the blast is conical in shape, starting at Mitsuoki's hand and expanding to a maximum size of 7.5 feet.

Reason: While learning his "Shitaiho" technique, Mitsuoki discovered that his attacks were gaining more energy than they normally had. After practicing more, he found that his Reiryoku techniques were all much more energetic, having so many rapidly moving particles that they were melting straight through his training grounds.

The resulting effect is that structures his by his Offensive Reiryoku Techniques are melted to the point where they're glowing red and somewhat soupy.

[b]Description[/b]: Mitsuoki's mastery of Reiryoku Techniques, as well as a naturally large reiryoku pool has made it so he may fire off Tier III bursts of energy by simply swinging his zanpakuto. These travel at 5x Cero Speed, or roughly the same speed as a Shakahkō, and are up to 5 meters long if stretched out into a straight line. They are always shaped according to the arc of his weapon's swing.[hr]
