PERSONALITY

Zakimura, at his core, is a rather rambunctious punk. He’s the son of the really rich, posh guy, who does nothing but embarrasses the crap out of him and constantly throw up middle fingers. He’s hardly respectful, removing every honorific from everyone he meets and speaking in a very informal manner in general. He always uses the extremely masculine pronoun ‘ore’ to refer to himself and never takes proper care of himself, which is why some have claimed he has a ‘permanent bed head’. He’s got a violent streak that’s a mile wide, and isn’t afraid to chuck out a group of profanities.

But is Zakimura really just an asshole? Of course not! He’s got his dorky moments where he’ll slap on a nervous smile, and there are even times where he’ll apologize for something he did or said. It’s more that Zakimura acts with his heart before his head, and doesn’t think things through. He claims to perpetually shoot his feet off, causing them to fly up and into his mouth. He’s a bit of a flirt when the mood suits him, though ironically he seems to be rather oblivious whenever he’s hit on. One key thing to mention about Zakimura is how he handles his emotions. If he feels something he feels it to the max, and there’s nothing ‘little’ about it.

If he’s angry it’s a storm, and if he’s sad it’s an ocean. He also appears to tense up and get either easily angered or easily depressed when it concerns family or relationships, showing he has sensitivity in both of these areas due to parts of his past. Despite the way he acts, Zakimura is hardly stupid. He’s extremely perceptive and intelligent when the mood suits him; he just claims to prefer acting like an idiot because he’s lazy. He’s also a parkour specialist and spends a lot of his free time hopping around Karakura Town, trying to find new and exciting ways to do different tricks. Rebellious and loud, Zakimura is more fun than a barrel full of monkies on LSD.

HISTORY

Zakimura was born to two parents who were heavily involved in the business world. Whether it was hostile takeovers or spending most of their time on webcam dealing with various meetings or in board meetings, Zakimura didn’t get to spend a lot of time with his parents. When he did it was at posh parties where he would try and act out just to get their attention, which worked about as well as you would expect it to. Since he came from a wealthy family Zakimura lived well, and he spent a large amount of his time with the most expensive of toys, games, TVs, etc. It still didn’t fill the hole in his heart his parents had left however, and it was around his middle school years that he spent time taking up activities like parkour and getting into fist fights at school or out on the streets.

It was the best way to spend his time, he felt, and his parents didn’t even ask about his wounds. It was the staff that took care of him and raised him, and he had thanked them every step of the way. Zakimura had always been spiritually aware, and had spent a lot of his time chatting up spirits and making friends out of them. One particular spirit had forgotten her name during life, so Zakimura named her ‘Sakura’ based off her hair color. The two had gotten along for quite some time, years even, and eventually Zakimura was smitten with her. During his high school years, Zakimura would spend a lot of his time with her. It was around this time that his parents finally tried to reach out to their lost son, but he didn’t listen. He turned his back on his family and instead focused on being with Sakura. One fateful day, around the same time he dropped out of Karakura High due to his bad grades and general attitude with school, Zakimura would come across Sakura as she was running from what appeared to be a horrific, black colored beast.

Zakimura attempted to attack it but was knocked against a wall, hard, and felt a few of his bones break. He watched in horror as Sakura was enveloped in a red light, and disappeared. Her shrieks of terror still haunt him to this day. Enveloped by a wave of emotions ranging from depression to outright rage, Zakimura felt a burning fire in his heart and was overtaken by this blaze. A voice whispered in his ear, probably his conscience, warning him to stay away from this fire because he was going to get burned. Telling it to shut the fuck up, Zakimura's body moved as if there was another man controlling it. Before he realized it, he'd scaled a building and leaped off it, delivering a punch with so much momentum behind it that he fired his body straight through the Hollow. He collapsed soon afterward in a puddle of his own tears, screaming out Sakura's name and generally becoming an emotional wreck.

With that event still fresh on his mind, Zakimura decided to spend most of his time controlling this power and learning more about how it worked. Still unsure of what these Hollow were, or what this power was, he advanced his skills in their utilization and slowly dealt with the fallout that centered around Sakura's death. Though Zakimura's parents tried to reconnect with their son time and time again, he only continued to push them away. He had become an embittered man due to the events that transpired in his life and, because of the spiritual awareness he had, he felt his parents would never understand a world they could not enter. Nowadays Zakimura continues to get stronger, pushing himself to the brink and learning all he can about the spiritual world around him.
