Description:Subject's skin whilst in oversoul has adapted to naturally absorb reishi, whether from spiritual attacks of physical, nullifying the damage and effect. Subject may use reishi absorbed to either Bartender's Black Hole Scotch or their Quincy Serum and Hollow Serum at the tier of the absorbed technique.

Description: Once the subject has amassed enough enough energy they infuse their reishi with gravity causing a black nucleus about the size of a basketball to form. This can either be thrown/launched at the opponent (cero speeds) or latched on via any other means of contact as well as an attack via their Quincy Serum technique. Upon contact the said area collapses in on itself with the force of a nuclear explosion imploding within itself to form a 5m radius nucleus, a 15m dome is formed around itself tainting the occupied area a slight black. As it collapses it drags everything within this 20m radius of this implosion into itself (at cero speeds as well) for the full duration of a post.

Anything without a stated duration will be treated as instant.

Killer cocktail, 'absorbing any attack'. Not allowed as worded. Change so it can be challenged via Advantages. Also Cooldown modifying techs are not allowed in any situation.

you're reading a couple of words out of context of the entire sentence there.

"The user's reishi mixes into a unique blend of all three and allows the user to absorb any incoming technique, melee or spiritual, add their own energy to it and release it as an amplified attack, either as a melee based or spiritual based attack."

This refers to the nature of the 'incoming' technique, so regardless of whether its physical based attack like a punch or a reishi projectile it will still be absorbed also I'm not exactly sure how my opponent would stop me from absorbing their tech once they fired unless otherwise stated in their own technique. That's why i specified incoming technique, they wouldn't work on anything stronger.

Also if you'd refer to Kum0's profile you'll find exactly the same wording as seen used there for his augmentation.

Quincy Serum

"Offensive/Defensive/Passive/Supplementary? (etc)" Is not a valid tech type. You also cannot passively summon/use a gun (unless they are just popping out of the air around you at all times) you may also not have a tier IV passive.

If you have "Offensive/Defensive/Passive/Supplementary" as your tech type then you will trigger all 3 CDs at once for activated versions of this technique. IMHO this is just a straight offensive tech.

Shinigami Serum

You can't have passive 3x speed and strength. Check out the augments section of the tech guide for what each tier can get you augment-wise, it got standardized last summer.

Killer Cocktail

So you want to only pay a tier-1 CD to both absorb and redirect the attack at tier attack + tier of Cocktail?

So first off, this attack is Defensive/Offensive. Absorbing energy takes energy; you can't just say "I absorb the energy for free". Think of it like an electrical transformer, it uses power to transform electricity from one type into another. You can't just do that shit for free.

So; pay the full cost of the defensive required to absorb it- this is a bare minimum because of the "no Danku emulation" rule.

Then you re-launch it at whatever tier you want, and get the original tier of the enemy attack added on for free. Also specify that the advantages for whatever you're re-launching are based off of your release mastery.

Again, you can't just justify stuff like defending/attacking for free with fluff like "energy absorbtion".

Fixed the derpage with the quincy serum

Shinigami serum ~ don't see anything about a passive buff anywhere but k?

Killer Cocktail ~ This is literally word for word the same technique which was approved in my augmentations section for Kum0, it was approved as is for the shikai level then I don't see how all of a sudden it has problems now at the bankai level as its literally a c/p of techs I had before. Not gonna budge on this one unless either the profile itself is pulled. Also I thought the the very fact that it's a release meant we get to push the boundaries beyond that or normal techs. That being said I did change the type to offensive/defensive

Here's the thing for releases;

Maximum Buff strength per tier:
TIER BUFF
I none
II 2x in one stat
III 3x in one stat, or 2x in both
IV -----
V 3x to both (Release)
VI 4x to one stat (Release)
VII 5x to one stat (Release)

I know this is nit-picky but get rid of the word "both".

Pushing boundaries is fine but you've got a tech that straight up emulates Danku in terms of advantages here, which is definitely forbidden. I'll talk to staff about having the profile pulled.

The reason that it was approved at Shikai level is that Tier III does not incur a cool-down. However if it is still an issue then I will pull the Profile to fix the wording.

You are right, Releases should push the limits of techs but pushing is not breaking the limits. The limit here is that you cannot change the cooldown. It is locked unless it is a Cannon equivalent tech or item. I understand what you are thinking, You add your energy to the tech and as it is less energy used by you there is one less cooldown but mechanically we are not going to allow that. You can absorb the attack, redirect the attack back at them and fire a simultanious attack in addition with it so it would be the absorbed tier +your offensive tech parallel to the redirected attack but the offensive nature of the attack means you still incur the cooldown of the Tier.

The only way that I can see you getting around this is like this.

You Absorb a Tier VII non release attack with your release in Bankai strength with a Tier V defense. [2 advantages and such should level out.]
You fire it back out at Tier V but it is augmented with the bankai strength of +2 advantages basically the equivalent of a Tier VII. that nets you the appropriate cooldown adjustment for flavor but is not as effective against release attacks. Thoughts?
