Name: 'Cito-Verum' Gloves [Spec.]

Description: Visibly this plain pair of gloves are made of high quality material appearing to be along the lines of leather with a silk red lining on the interior. The sides of the glove, where sown together, are stitched with a shining silver thread that is as thin as nylon. On the fingers of the gloves where the 'prints' are the material is slightly thicker but still thin enough to get a detailed feeling of what the hand is touching. The base of the glove where it meets the wrist cuts off with no excess material, fitting tightly to the skin so that foreign material cannot get underneath the cloth.
Several pairs of gloves were made before a final design was decided on, Gage paying a professional tailor to actually do the sowing and stitching of the gloves. The white leather is actually a fake home made replica, Gage making the leather out of generic hollow leather for the spiritual properties. The 'silk' interiors of the gloves were slowly hand stitched with a pre-made design, the threads made of a combination of harmonized copper wiring and Marange steel resistors/capacitors. This gives the silk cloth underneath the leather a circuitry design that takes small amounts of soul communication energy and cycles it through the wiring and into the capacitors where it is stored. The minuet amounts of energy that are left over are then recycled passing through micro shards of a ruby Soul Sentience gem. The gem then amplifies that energy to higher levels, storing it into the capacitors until it is released by the user by snapping the fingers together.
Printed on the back of the gloves is a circular arcane symbol, researched and collected from an old library in Naruki where early Fullbringers were known to reside. The symbol itself is printed with Soul Concentrate, invisible under normal situations but when techniques of tiers IV-VII are used it becomes visible, glowing a soft red. This arcane symbol, along with being printed with Soul Concentrate, allows the glove to emulate and enhance the effects of Soul Communication to great degrees. Due to the exponential increase of energy that released from the item the resulting techniques tend to be 'unruly' making precision based attacks difficult. Lasers tend to manifest as flame throwers, hurling rocks end up throwing car sized boulders, water spears end up appearing as a high speed waves and air slashes turn out like a barrage of slashes that cut all in its range.
Drawbacks: Due to the massive draw of energy from this item there are serious physical repercussions. First the 'natural' draw of energy of this item causes the user to put out more energy than the would normally be physically able to. This is shown by slowly spreading circuitry like lines that glow with green Soul Communication energy. These lines spread upwards from the gloves, moving over the majority of the body over time as the item is used. After 8 posts of use the circuitry spreads up to the shoulders, 15 posts taking it up and across the chest with 20 posts stretching up the neck and down over the abdomen. This duration is shortened as the user executes techniques from this item of Tier IV or higher. Tier IV can be used three times before shortening the post count by one. Tier V can be used twice before shortening the post count by one. Tier VI can be used once before shortening the post count by one and Tier VII can be used once before shortening the post count by two.
When this item is shut down, either by removing the gloves or when the 20 post counter ends, the green energy lines fade, turning to varying degrees of energy burns in the location of the lines. 8 posts leave behind a 1st degree burn [skin irritation], 15 posts leaving 2nd degree burns [blistering and peeling] and when the 20 post is reached the lines leave behind 3rd degree burn. Should the full 20 posts be used and the users body be covered in the 3rd degree burns this item consumes itself, burning away to ash but in doing that the 3rd degree burns become the new circuitry turning the users body into the medium for this item replacing the need for the gloves. This however is only possible after the body undergoes healing for the appropriate amount of time, being upwards of two months if healing naturally or less if healed by an outside source. Once healed these techniques can be activated as the user wishes, the total post count being able to be broken up but not allowed to extend past the 20 post mark in any particular thread. A secondary bonus after healing and surviving the burns is that these techniques no longer injure the body as the body has developed an immunity to the energy.

Description: This pair of gloves is in essence a capacitor, storing energy and releasing it after it has been compressed and cycled through massive amounts of pressure. Any time that Gage uses any of his pre-written 'Soul Communication Style:Offense/Binding' techniques at Tier II they are filtered into this glove. At that point that Tier II energy reacts with the energy created by the gloves and is fired off in a 'Wild Communication' technique that is empowered to the tier of Gage's choosing at the time of casting. This change in strength does not change any of the mechanics of the technique but does raise them to the maximum for the appropriate Tier. Offensive techs of Tier VII dealing tier VII damage or binding techs binding with the strength of a Tier V for example.

Type: Defensive
Range: Self
Description: Shroud of life is a double edged sword that cannot be put away. While the gloves 'Cito-Verum' are worn and are being used they cycle the wielders energy into empowered techniques to perform feats normally impossible. This is not all the energy that the gloves produce however. There is so much surplus energy that the body naturally hardens while the gloves are being used, becoming resistant to enemy energy that attempts to enter their bodies. For the first 8 posts while this technique is active it provides a Tier II defense against enemy energy that attempts to enter the body or any physical damage that they may be subject to. After 8 posts the defense increases to Tier III and then to Tier V after 15 posts ending at the 20th post where defensive techniques are in a ten post cool down for this item. These duration can be shortened through the use of the the other techniques available to this item, tier IV can be used three times before shortening the post count by one. Tier V can be used twice before shortening the post count by one. Tier VI can be used once before shortening the post count by one and Tier VII can be used once before shortening the post count by two. This defense is visible through the green Soul Communication lines running over the body in the shape of circuitry. In any case the cooldown of this tech is double the duration minimum of two posts.

Type: Supplementary
Range: 200m
Description: While this technique is active small green line of 'circuitry' spread outwards from the eyes, stopping a few inches away. These green lines glow softly and cause the wielders eyes to glow a soft green light, the actual color of the eyes changing to a bright green. While this technique is active it allows Gage to see 'souls' with his vision. This is like a second sight that is overlaying his current vision, allowing him to see through an illusion as illusions do not have souls. This does not allow him to see through walls or objects as they do have souls that he uses to perform Soul Communication but conjured techniques and the like are able to be seen through including but not limited to fogs, mists, barriers and artificial darkness.

Range: Self
Description: Shroud of Destruction is the other half to Shoud of Life. While this 'item' is active the wielders energy is cycled back into their body in such large amounts that their hand to hand strikes reach devastatingly strong proportions. Their muscles harden, making their body capable of strike with the force of a Tier II for the first 8 posts that these techniques are active. After that this technique cycles upwards increasing that to a Tier III and then finally to a Tier V at 15 posts for another five posts. These duration can be shortened through the use of the above techniques, tier IV can be used three times before shortening the post count by one. Tier V can be used twice before shortening the post count by one. Tier VI can be used once before shortening the post count by one and Tier VII can be used once before shortening the post count by two. In any case the cooldown of this tech is double the duration minimum of two posts.
