Cozy evening it was in Karakura town. The temperature not so hot, yet not so cold, just as perfect it should be. It was about the time the streets would start to empty from people, going to their houses and stuff. Some could be seen still wondering around, others calling for Taxis or walking down the streets. But in an overall, it was getting quite empty.
A little further, down on the main-road, could be seen a huge building with a small training field. It was the public dojo of the city. Schools had their clubs, though for everyone else, there was the Dojo, Martial-arts training Center, rather. It didn't have many people, yet, it was not empty. You could see several of them running around on the field, warming up. The rest were inside, training in various places and with the variety of tools the Dojo provided. Kung fu, Karate, Kendo, and all sort of martial arts could be seen inside. Yet, with a first glance, most of the people were just novices, and most of them doing it to excersise, instead of actually learning the martial Art.
Though, on a far corner of the Dojo, all alone, you could see a young woman training. Dark brown hair tied into a ponytail, black shorts and a white t-shirt she was wearing. You could see her feet, knees and fists wrapped with bandages, while a towel was resting on her shoulders. She seemed quite determinated and rather passionate, while hitting on a punching bag with all her might. "A hundred and seventy-five...", she said to herself, as she thrusted her fist on the bag. "A hundred and seventy-six...", she muttered again, as she forcefully kneeled the bag. After a few more strikes, she would leap on the air, and perform a full-round kick, so forceful, that she almost ripped the punching bag from the ceiling. "Two hundred!", she finally said, almost letting out a gasp, as she was out of air. Leaning her body forward and holding onto her knees, she took some deep breaths, and wiped the sweat with her towel.

The night was perfect for some training, it wasn’t boiling hot like most nights that made long training sessions intolerable, no tonight was a more calm and relaxing kind of night, at least for the time being it was. The weather full of breezes and moderate temperatures even hovering near the lower end of the spectrum of what would be considered comfortable; it was an odd time, but an opportunity that Kasumi would not turn down. She had made her way down to the main road, the artery if you would of the town, her sights set on a small but well stocked local dojo, and it was the perfect spot to do some training and a spot she had visited in what seemed like ages at this point.
Opening the doors of the dojo, having finally arrived, Kasumi surveyed the area it was far from full, but it was at least good to see everything seemed in working order and there were a variety of different techniques and styles currently being trained. All of it excited Kasumi, but her face remained a bit stoic as she looked around for a potential spot to train herself, not sure she recognized anyone here, who was surprising since for the most part the general age of the people appeared to be near her own. That was the problem sometimes with larger class sizes you don’t get to know people and you forget completely about others.
Adorned in her normal gym attire, black shorts and a red t-shirt she proceed forward only to have her eye caught by someone out in the corner, a girl whose commitment seemed to rival anyone in the place if not supersede it. Definitely someone that caught Kasumi’s eye, she watched as hit after hit of her first came into contact with the punching bag. The bag moved and swayed with each blow until final the last blow from the girl hit with such tremendous force the fact the bag still was there surprised Kasumi. The entire process of this going in Kasumi had slowly proceeded closer to the girl, close enough at this point to finally hear her gasp out her final count total of two hundred.
She was exhausted and if that count was right Kasumi wasn’t surprised. The girl was out of wind and was trying to recoup for a second.
“Nice attack on that bag.” Kasumi would say with a smirk, “Is that all you got though?”
Kasumi knew that when it came to the gym and activities of martial arts and the like it was also fun to poke and prod people with little jabs of negativity as a form of pushing them to get stronger. It was an interesting strategy that did not always work, but Kasumi however continued to use it.
She shouldn't have eaten that much this afternoon, she really shouldn't. But she couldn't help it, it was delicious. It was not that she was stuffed up, no, but she could feel the flow of her blood be higher than normal, as her body was still in the digesting progress, getting all sweaty, more than usual. It was then, when she noticed someone approaching. She didn't pay any attention, while people was still wondering around in the dojo, but she did, as the person came rather close to her. Wiping one last time her sweat, Asuka turned her glance to meet with that person, who by now, was standing almost next to her.
A young girl she was, Asuka would say around her age, though, she looked younger. She looked slim, but not that muscular or fit. But Asuka wouldn't take that in accord, while she, herself was not very muscular, except for some carbs here and there. She nodded, as a greeting toward the girl, and fixed the bandages on her fists. The phrase, “Is that all you got though?”, almost made her laugh, but she kept it. Quite straight-foward that girl was, for someone who just met someone. And not only that, she was quite picky as well. Though, Asuka could notice that she was not trying to insult her in any way, but more of giving her a motive. Smart, but that wouldn't work on her. Asuka knew already how to push herself to the limits, and that was not by far her limit.
"Of course not. I don't have spare money to pay for equipment replacements, so no, thats not by far what I got. You, on the other hand, could work a little more on your 'reading-others' skill, it could help you".
There, the counter-attack. Asuka couldn't help but to slightly smirk on her own words. She didn't know at all the girl who just approached her, but the way she did, instantly gained Asuka's interest. It was about time for the third round though, so Asuka extended her one leg at the side and bended the other, and started doing some more stretching, before going for her usual push-ups.
"If you ever are in need of an instructor, feel free to ask away. I would gladly help you coming closer to what I got".

Kasumi listened to the girl carefully as she pulled out a roll of tap from the bag she carried slung across her right arm. Patiently waiting to speak, all the while taping up her fist as well, preparing herself for the impending training she would take part in, though it looked like this girl might be a good partner especially from the way she responded to Kasumi.
Kasumi laughed, “I think I did a pretty good read of your skills if I do say. I saw what you did and know what you could have done clearly. You yourself even said that was not your full potential, so tell me how did I read you wrong exactly.”
Her fists were now taped up ready to begin training whenever that time might occur. Locked in their currently little debate or squabble or joyous back and forth, whatever it was you called it, it might be some time before Kasumi was able to begin anything. She let out a small sigh as she stretched, bringing her arms above her head extended as much as possible, holding it and then returning back to her starting position. She would do this a few times before beginning to stretch her legs, extending them out on a nearby bench to their fullest grabbing her toes, effectively working her hamstrings.
“As for an instructor,” Kasumi would say calmly in the middle of her stretching, “I think it might be you that’s in need of the instructor, after all anyone can punch a bag back and forth, not much skill there right? I mean it doesn’t move or try to dodge you in any way. How can you say your qualified to teach someone based on that performance?”
Kasumi let out a smirk, this girl was an interesting one, she knew almost nothing about her, and well it might as well be nothing about her, however despite that though something about her intrigued Kasumi. She wouldn’t be able to place it, nor did she understand it, but whatever it was made it almost possible to leave from where she was and ignore the girl, no instead she needed continue this conversation.
Asuka listened to the girl talking without saying anything. She followed her streching schedule step by step. legs, arms, some side-turns with her waist, etc. She couldn't help but to have a slight smirk on her face, listening to that girl. Amusing. It has been a while since someone tried to be all cocky and smart at her. Though, the reason might be that the girl never saw her in action, on the ring, that is.
After finishing her stretching, Asuka approached one of the nearby walls. Placing her hands on the floor, she performed a handstand, her face facing toward the girl. The goddamn smirk was still on her face. She didn't come in contact with the wall at all, she mostly approached it for safety reasons, in case she lost her balance or something. Steadily, Asuka placed her left arm behind her back and started pushing herself up and down, doing some kind of... push-ups. It was not her usual way of doing push-ups, that was for sure, but hell, someone just questioned her abilities, now that was a challenge, not just a debate. With a calm voice, not showing the slightest unstability, even though she was in the middle of an exercise, she responded to the girl.
"That is what I am talking about. If you had read my skills correctly, you should have known already that I am qualified for an instructor. You shouldn't judge someone's abilities by watching them punching a bag, you know? It will be bad for your health, if you end up in an actual spar with them, that is."
Asuka's smirk now turned into a big smile, quite arrogant, quite teasing and a lot of challenging. That girl... Asuka could already feel the excitement overflowing her. In general, Asuka is a rather calm girl. But when it comes for her passion, martial arts, she may turn into an entirely different person. And that girl over there was a rather good reason to make her turn, getting all excited.
"But i got to admit. You talk big for your size. I like that", she said calmly, still with that smile on her face though. "The ring seems quite empty and lonely down there. Care to find out who is qualified to train who? She would say again, her eyes motion toward the big ring at the center of the room.

Kasumi watched patiently as the girl walked away to a nearby wall and performed a hand stand of sorts. Clearly a good feat of physical strength; however in this respect Kasumi could see it equally as a means of bragging. The girl was offended in their little spat and felt it necessary to prove that her abilities did not simply stop at what was observed before, even more so you went further with it. She began what appeared to be almost effortlessly doing a sort of push-up in her current stance. It was clear she had some real abilities and skills that much Kasumi could not deny, however thinking it and letting that show were two different things.
Kasumi remained straight faced, stoic as it were about the entire matter, waiting for the girl to speak and finish her speech before she herself talked a smirk on her face as she began. After all Kasumi wasn’t entirely rude to just cut someone off like that.
“Well my observation wasn’t entirely on the just the bag there, you can gain a lot more based on how some reacts in situations. Sure you can do a lot of impressive feats like that, but like you said basing someone’s entire skill set isn’t as easy as that. After all you’re just trying to show me that another one of your feats means your qualified to teach me, which I still don’t believe.”
That damn girl’s smirk kept getting bigger, it was clear she thought she was some kind of hot shit, which wasn’t acceptable in Kasumi’s books. No longer was this a matter of who was better it was deeper than that, it was a matter of pride. Each of them had called out the other, pushing and prodding as to how weak the other surely was. As the girl spoke again though, the words at which Kasumi partially had been hoping to hear came to light.
“Exactly my thought,” Kasumi said with a smile, her eyes drifting over to the ring.
“The only thing is when you lose don’t expect to go crying about being cheated or some kind of bull like that. Deal?” Kasumi would say sternly as she started her walk over towards the ring so that their little training/challenge could begin.
"I didn't try to impress anyone, I just showed you the way to the ring, in any means necessary."
That would heat things up, Asuka knew. She wasn't actually trying to show off. Well, she did at a small degree, but most of all, she tried to taunt the girl. She didn't know why, maybe because she got tired of punching a emotionless bag. And it was then, when that girl showed up, all promising that she could actually hold on a spar with Asuka. She knew she was not perfect, nor she was any way close to be a Sensei. But, for sure she was better than any of the novices inside that Dojo. Well, until now. Or at least she thought.
"Don't take me wrong, girl. It is just that I got really bored of punching that thing""
Asuka stated with a smirk on her face, as she jumped off her handstand stance and made her way toward the ring. Getting inside, she would stand on the one end of the ring, starting fixing her bandages, her clothes, her hair. "If you need any protection gear, you can find them in that box", she said, with a calm and quite serious tone now, as she gestured toward a box near the ring. She didn't try to act cocky at that point. She really didn't know if that girl would want some or not. On Asuka's case, her martial art was not fond of protection gears, at least on matches.
Whatever the girl would do, Asuka would approach the center of the ring. If that girl as well followed the Match ettiquete, she would pproach the center too, to shake hands. If she did, Asuka would smile at her and say "Asuka, nice to meet you". Well now, that was something unexpected. In any case, after all that, Asuka would take a couple of steps backwards. Her face would turn dead serious as her left fist would raise in front of her face, while the other in front of her chest. Her left foot slightly forward and her eyes deadlock on the girl.

"The weak fall, but the strong will remain and never go under!"
Kasumi listened to the girl she was arrogant, though it was most likely not in a rude manner. She simply was dishing back what Kasumi gave her. It seemed the two of them had similar personalities, trying to push the other into a spar to prove who was the strongest amongst them, neither of them wanting to back down from the challenge, determine to assert their dominance over their respective fighting styles.
“Well I suppose it would get boring punching something that can’t fight back, but eventually I guess you decide you’re ready to take off the training wheels, right?” Kasumi would say with a smirk in response to the girl.
She followed the girl as they made their way to the ring, each of them standing in opposite ends of the ring as was traditionally the case. Kasumi prepared herself, making sure her bandaged fist were secure, doing some last minute stretching and the like, all the while thinking about how long it had been since she had been in a spar with someone, actually fighter versus fighters, not just training, it had been too long. Kasumi shrugged ignoring the protective gear, it wasn’t something she planned on needing at despite this potentially being a good duel it was after all at a dojo if it got too carried away surely someone would stop the two of them anyhow.
Kasumi approached the center meeting the girl, whose name she had now learned was Asuka.
“Kasumi, nice to meet you as well,” Kasumi said with a smirk as she shook the girls hand, backing away a few steps after almost mimicking Asuka’s stance, but in mirror fashion, her right arm raised up in front of her face, right hand down covering her chest, and her right foot out forward. Their eyes met and Kasumi knew that this was the start of the spar, there was no backing out now, but she would wait for the girls attack, it was often times more clever to wait for the attack then to jump in especially when all of the skills of your opponent were unknown. So that’s what she would do wait until it was her time to strike, start on the defensive and then surprise the girl with her skills.
Kasumi, quite a beautiful name it was. It gave more of a calm feeling upon hearing it, though Asuka knew she shouldn't take her slightly. Watching her taking her fighting stance, Asuka didn't drop her serious expression, though she had deep inside the feeling of smiling. That would be indeed a good spar. And that made it more clear, when some of the trainees of the Dojo started approaching the ring, keeping some distance, watching. Audience too, awesome.
Do not worry, Kasumi-san. I'll be gentle.
Her voice tone serious, yet with a sly scent of teasing in it. She kept her ground, waiting for Kasumi to make the first move. Though, after several seconds, she realised that they were both waiting for the same thing. Smart. None of them wanted to act first, while none knew the capabilities of the other. Asuka carefully watched Kasumi's stance. She was pretty much mirroring her own stance, though it felt a little different. She was not a kick-boxer for sure. What could it be. She have seen a variety of fighting styles herself, but she couldn't pin-point exacly what Kasumi's was.
Asuka started making slow steps left and right of the ring. Kind of a half-circle around Kasumi. She couldn't approach carelessly, as Kasumi kept her territory pretty well. She would make a couple of quick steps forward, then backwards again, in order to distract her opponent. With each approach, she would read how Kasumi moves in order to protect herself in any incoming attacks, in order to find an opening. After a couple of approaches, Asuka would finally make her first move.
Taking a step forward, she would bend her knee, bringing herself at Kasumi's waist height, from Kasumi's left side. Her right leg would extend, attempting to kick Kasumi's legs in a wheel-motioned way. If it would be a success, Kasumi would lose some of her balance, if not drop on the ring's floor. If she would miss, Asuka would use the motion of her spin as a push to stand back on her feet a couple of steps away from Kasumi.
In both cases, she would move away, prepared for a counter-attack.

"The weak fall, but the strong will remain and never go under!"
“Be gentle? I guess you do want to lose then, huh?” Kasumi said with a small laugh, “Not that it will change either way.”
Kasumi watched carefully as Asuka started her assault she carefully and quickly relied on her foot work to try and confuse her. She was quick there was no doubt about it, but Kasumi was equally quick able to keep up with her movement without too much difficulty. In and out she weaved quickly at that trying to make Kasumi lunge for her, and Kasumi would follow like some kind of dance, bring herself in as Asuka would bob out, keeping up with her at the same time. It was too early to attack though, it was clear Asuka was planning something and the worst offensive move you could make is one where you are unsure of what your opponent was going to do. So they continued their little dance in and out bobbing and weaving alternating. That was until finally the girl made her attack, quickly her foot came with a swing at Kasumi’s legs.
It was a common move, these kinds of fights often relied on not sheer force, but rather confusing and catching your opponent off guard. Kasumi knew that full well so as she saw the beginnings of said move occur she proceeded to counter it with her own. She after all had wanted to try and better herself through some training, having recently learned and read up on some information involving a style closely related to one she had already known.
Kasumi quickly got into her stance, Bok Fu Stance of the Snake. She had tried it out before on her own however with few people being able to train with her this was her first trying it out on her own. As the kick came at her she was able to block it, or rather catch it defending against the quick, but was pushed back slightly from the force as she caught the leg in her right arm. Quickly as though there was no time to waste her stance had been broken, however it did its job of allowing her maintain most of her balance and not fall flat on her face, Kasumi would shove Asuka back pushing off her leg.
“You need to be better than that or you’re going to lose your pride and a meal.” Kasumi smirked.
The girl quickly lunged out towards Asuka, trying not to hesitate or allow her to gather herself, coming in quickly swinging with her left arm towards Asuka’s right, attempting to strike her quickly in the side, possibly knocking the wind out of her. Kasumi was all into this fight and although the snide comments continued from both and a sense of thrill shot through Kasumi, thrill of the fight.
Kasumi naturally is going to try and train new techniques and stances that she has read on or "tried" herself but has never used. Since this is kind of a training thread in a way after all. The snake stance doesn't fully work here since she gets pushed back instead of a full block, or at least that was the idea I was trying to present. Also Bok Fu is like a cousin to one of the styles Bando that she already has so it seemed a bit natural too that she would try this out, or have a strong affinity with it than some just starting out. Anyhow if you need me to change anything let me know.
Name: Bok Fu Class: Hand to Hand Style Type: Supplementary Range: Self. Tier: N/A Description: Bok Fu, surprisingly, is an american-descended fighting style. While the creator of Bok Fu pulled the ideas away from Asian culture, it was hardened in America. Bok Fu is an incredibly spiritual fighting style, taking up animal aspects -- or stances -- to deal different types of damage or protect against it, for that matter.
Training Bok Fu requires a Dojo that would teach it, which would be rare in anywhere but America. Along with training it, it's a solo art, not requiring a partner at all, as half of the training is becoming 'spiritually inclined' with the animal of each stance. Furthermore, each stance takes up a different fighting style, making it incredibly hard to perfectly counter a Bok Fu fighter.
Lastly, Bok Fu is a one-stance fighting style, meaning the stances below can only be active one at a time, and cannot be juggled inbetween turns.
Name: Stance of the Snake Class: Hand to Hand Technique Type: Offensive / Defensive Range: Self. Tier: II Description: Stance of the Snake is surprisingly a mixture of quick strikes and a receding defense. When in this stance, as long as you make pin-point strikes and focus on singular strikes alone, your hands move at cero speeds and deal extra damage. On the defense, any attacks that come at you can be blocked without losing your balance with the stance, anything above disrupting your balance and requiring you to reenter the stance.
Asuka narrowed her eyes. She got quite shock, she would admit. Kasumi blocked her kick. Not just block it, she even caught her leg. CAUGHT. That spar seemed to be much more interesting than Asuka thought. Asuka stopped adding pressure to her leg and let it relax, as Kasumi had grabbed it. It would be bad for her and her leg if it got injured by the pressure. If the leg is relaxed, the muscles have more flexibility to let her try to escape, at least.
That was not necessary, at the end, as Kasumi shoved her backwards. If it wasn't for her hands placed on the floor, Asuka would lose her balance for sure. Though, she placed her hands firmly on the ground and made a side-flip, bringing herself back at her feet. Her eyes moved quickly throughout the ring to find Kasumi, as she had a new positioning now. Eyes met, and Asuka quickly realised that Kasumi was dashing toward her, ready to make her counter-attack. She read carefully her movements, as she brought her fists in defence. She quickly caught Kasumi's left fist trying to thrust toward her right side. Lowering her arm, Asuka brought it in front of her right side, her elbow on front, in attempt to make Kasumi's fist hit on the hard part of her elbow. If that would be successful, it would cause some pain on Kasumi's fist. She would then proceed into pushing Kasumi's left arm away with her right, revealing an opening at her left side. Her left knee would raise, and she would attempt to make a close kick on Kasumi's left side, having in mind that her right arm was still free.
The kick was mostly to make Kasumi dodge and maintain some distance, instead of striking. If it managed to strike though, all the better. In both cases, Asuka would not let Kasumi gain any ground. She would proceed into a flury of blows counter attack. Her left fist would aim toward Kasumi's right side. Though, expecting for her to block it, Asuka would gather her fist back at the last moment, extended her elbow, in attempt to cause some damage on Kasumi's defences. After all, Kickboxing was all about breaking opponent's defences with force and avoiding counter attacks with agility. If that would succeed, Asuka would then attempt to shove her knee on Kasumi's stomach. She didn't except to be that easy, but if it would be a clean hit, it would probably drop Kasumi on her knees.
"Pride? I'm not the type of girl to let my pride lost that easily".
{OOC Note}No worries, go on ahead. And I haven't Role-played combat for some time now, so please notify me if anything is wrong.
Name American Kickboxing Class: Hand to Hand Style Type: Supplementary Range: Self. Tier: N/A Description: American Kickboxing isn't a fancy ancient martial arts, instead, it's a grungy, frontal fighting style, but deadly effective. Kickboxing is incredibly popular, acting as both a self-defense martial art and a incredibly praised sport. American Kickboxing, while second to Muay Thai in power, is quick and agile, pronouncing enough power to knock out even the most of elder fighters. American Kickboxing focuses more on the fists and punching, the kicks and kneeling techniques only being used as a follow up to a group of punches.
American Kickboxing is common in most gyms, and is easily picked up by somebody with no knowledge. Training Kickboxing doesn't always require a second person, but it is best for blocks, and dodging to have two people rather then just you and a punching bag.

"The weak fall, but the strong will remain and never go under!"
Kasumi’s swing had made an impact however it was not on its intended target, it seemed Asuka was quicker on her feet then Kasumi had anticipated. Kasumi’s swing hit fully on Asuka’s elbow, it certainly couldn’t feel good for either of them, but Kasumi knew for sure her hand ached a bit from the impact. The surprise block and cumulative ache from the impact on Kasumi allowed for her opponent to seamlessly push away her arm opening up her left side almost completely. It was an opening that she did not want there, nor would anyone in that circumstance, quickly she needed to act to close said gap. A kick coming from her opponent at the time the only thing Kasumi could do was jump back quickly gaining some distance between them, she after all didn’t want to simply take the brunt of the impact.
However as she jumped back Asuka was quick and calculated, wasting no time she quickly came in with a flurry of blows as a counter attack to continue the assault. It was almost astounding to Kasumi to see how evenly matched right now her and her opponent were, neither of them willing to give the other a chance to come back and gain any ground. The swing came from the right and Kasumi tried to block, however unexpectedly the girl seemed to switch up as though she anticipated that, knocking Kasumi back a bit as Asuka’s elbow hit her arms.
She staggered a moment before gaining her footing again, but just barely had gained her footing before another knew came at her towards her stomach. She was able to move in time however, just quick enough that her side was grazed by it, slightly knocking the wind out of her. However, she was still on her feet and still ready to fight. Whatever this fighting style was it certainly was interesting, very calculated and focused on assuming a defensive stance from the opponent and destroying that effectively. It was a great move in all reality.
“I never said you would lose it easily, just that you would.” Kasumi said with gasp as she got her breath back, sweat starting to form above her brow already.
Kasumi would come in again to Asuka as quick as she could suddenly dropping down to the ground mid height aiming to sweep the legs from under the girl using one of her favorite techniques, the fluidity of it all was wonderful, if that was successful in taking her down Kasumi would quickly follow it up with her leg coming down onto the girl in a swift chopping like action aimed for her right leg.
{Techs Used}Name: Bando Class: Hand to Hand Style Type: Supplementary Range: Self. Tier: N/A Description: Bando is the close cousin to Bok Fu, in which they both share the similarity of working around buddhist or monk spirits. Instead of working with stances, although, Bando's abilities are all themed or utilized around a certain animal that is found within it's homeland. These animals can change from person to person, but the base that is taught is common knowledge.
Bando is rare to be taught, but training it is another thing altogether. To fully 'understand' how the techniques work, it is told that one must watch the animals in question. While this is left to ones own devices, it is common ritual to do so. Bando's main source of training is through sparring people who do not train with Bando, but rather other martial arts to perfect their own "version" of Bando and to be unique as a spirit, which is one of it's main ideals.
Name: Panther's Sweep Class: Hand To Hand Technique Type: Supplementary / Offensive. Range: Self. Tier: II Description: Panther's Sweep is an iteration of a very complex style for Bando, all packed away in one ideal or technique. By condensing energy into ones legs, the user of Panther's Sweep can increase their speed incredibly for a half second, just long enough to go downwards and swing out their leg -- with the same speed, mind you -- and slam the side of the foot directly into the base of the leg, tripping them onto their back. Panther's Sweep deals little-to-no damage (outside of a bruise from the kick) but it's speed is the reason for it actually having a Tier.
Name: Scorpion's Kick Class: Hand To Hand Technique Type: Offensive. Range: Self. Tier: II Description: Scorpion's Kick is an iteration of one of the base techniques for Bando, and is considered not one of the first four, but a close cousin. By condensing energy into the upper body, the user of this ability would bring their leg upwards in a axe kick-esque fashion before swinging slightly to the right on the way down, increasing the speed and power before bringing it hard down, much like a scorpion would sting someone. The power behind this is the decent.
Asuka's breath started becoming heavier. Not gasping or anything like that, but the rush and pace of the fight, she haven't done it in quite some time. And Kasumi... she could even admit that they are almost in equal levels. Well, Asuka had and advantage in agility and strength of her fighting, but Kasumi was more of the kind focusing into the technique. Sometimes, she had to admit, technique was better than raw skill.
Asuka smirked slightly, as she realised that she somewhat cornered Kasumi with those last attacks of her. Even though they didn't have a hundred percent effectiveness, Asuka wouldn't even dream of it, she managed to gain some ground. She believed she had the upper hand, at least for now. Needless to say that her elbow was in pain from the last impact. That girl had quite the fist, Asuka would admit. She didn't expect to cause that much damage on her elbow. On the positive side though, if Asuka was in pain, then Kasumi's hand was in too. For the moment at least, she should avoid using that elbow.
And then was when Kasumi made her counter-attack. Asuka watched her as she dropped down at her waist level. She knew what was going to follow. Copying her moves though was not wise, she thought. Dodging it was easy. Well, not. As Kasumi's leg tried to sweep her legs, Asuka leaped on the air in order to let her leg pass below her feet. "Shit!", she gasped, as she realised she wouldn't make it in time. She didn't expect her strike to be that quick.
Her one leg managed to avoid the sweep, though the other was shoved away. Asuka lost her balance mid-air, that was bad. She landed clumsily on her knee. If it wasn't for the bandages providing some minor protection, her knee would have surely being injured. And then the second scale of Kasumi's attack came. Asuka barely managed to realise Kasumi's leg was coming straight down on her. Instinctively, she crossed her arms above her head, totally blocking Kasumi's leg. The impact was so forceful, that made Asuka bend her body a little. It was then, when her body reacted faster than her head. Her arms wrapped around Kasumi's leg, immobilizing it. She then proceeded into thrusting her free foot toward Kasumi's leg, in attempt to drop her down. If, by any chance, Kasumi jumps to avoid it, Asuka would stand-up with force and slam Kasumi down, on her back. If not, Kasumi would find herself on the floor.
Asuka would not proceed into attacking a laying opponent. It was not into her fighting style, nor her ideal. She would back up and regain her defensive stance, after sweeping away some of the sweat from her eyes.
"Seems to me someone else is losing her pride here..."
Asuka couldn't help but to smile, watching Kasumi down on the floor. That smile turned into a smirk, as both made eye contact, when Kasumi stood up. Asuka prepared herself, she knew the counter-attack was coming. She tighten her defense and locked on Kasumi's eyes. And there it began, as Kasumi dashed toward her.
She barely managed to keep up with Kasumi's movements, as she approached. The first strike managed to land on Asuka's shoulder, making her gasp slightly. The rest, she barely managed to block, focusing on those that were coming toward her face. At the time she managed to fully block one of Kasumi's attack, Asuka would duck, making one of the blows fly above her head, and attempt to strike Kasumi on her stomach. She added all her strength on that punch, but made it fairly slow, while she wanted Kasumi to dodge and move away from her. Though, if it would hit, that would be painful.
She raised up, clearly rubbing her bruised shoulder. She didn't say anything, but just kept a serious face. It was her time to counter attack. As it seemed, raw skill was not enough. She had to fight technique with technique. The... unlucky part of that, was that Kasumi had technique knowledge only by theory and watching. But, she had to do it, if she wanted to end that match, with her as the victor.
She changed stance. Her leg slightly bend, while her other moved forward. she brought her left fist in front of her face, while the other next to her right side. It was about time. She had no clue if that would work or not, but she had to try. For a mere moment, you could see Asuka frowning, as she realised she was doubting herself. She HAD to do it.
Her bended leg straighten up, as she pushed herself toward Kasumi. With quick movements, she approached her, landing her feet steadily on the floor, making a sly impact sound. Her left arm thrusted straight forward, toward Kasumi's face. That strike would surely not pass through, but that was not its purpose. It was a totally defense breaking technique. Instantly as she did that, her right arm moved straight to Kasumi's head from the right side. Just before it made impact, probably with Kasumi's arm trying to block, Asuka's arm would bend and curve with the flow, passing through her defense, at least hoping to and strike Kasumi directly.
Successful or not, Asuka would pull her upper body back and raise her leg, attempting a kick toward Kasumi to distant her. Asuka wouldn't say a word now. Things got pretty serious. Though, her smirk never left her face.
{Used Techns}Those are both her in-training technique, so they are not perfected. As well, they are used without Reiatsu.
Name: Hook-Punch Class: Hand to Hand Technique Type: Offensive. Range: Self. Tier: III Description: Utilizing a hook punch is to come in right from the right of an opponent and curving your attack in such a manner that your arm moves around a basic block and comes in to hit them directly in the head, smashing against the open head rather then being blocked by conventional means. By forcing energy from Reiatsu or just your body directly into such a swing, it can go from painful to deadly, it could cave in the side of a skull if not protected against.
Name: Straight Jab Class: Hand to Hand Technique Type: Offensive. Range: Self. Tier: III Description: Straight Jab is a normal, incredibly common attack used in kickboxing. It is, in it's simple iteration, a straight jab of various power, aimed to break a defensive block or to attack an open area. Usually, a straight jab deals no damage, but on the chance that the straight jab is powered up with spiritual energy, can be incredibly deadly. The use of Straight Jab is that of a punch that upon impact explodes outwards in a 10 meter cone out from the point of impact, the cone being made up of wind from the tremendous hit. Everything in the cone is dealt the same amount of damage, and the person on the receiving end is knocked to the very back of the 10 meter cone.

This post in fact is the same as the one that use to be above. I posted on the wrong account so yeah. I'll post the new one in response to your newest post after this one and when I write it. Sorry for the confusion.
"The weak fall, but the strong will remain and never go under!"
Kasumi was happy to see her sweep had been quick enough to destabilize the girl as she fell down to her knees. However as her leg would come down she would realize both a satisfaction and fright as the girl was able to withstand the impact of her foot, yet was successful in immobilizing her foot similar to what she had done earlier to Asuka. It was too much though, the immobilization of her leg made it impossible for her to move effectively to miss the next attack as Asuka swept her leg from under her. Kasumi tried her best to retain her balance to keep from completely falling to the ground, but it appeared that would be too hard to do as she came crashing down to the floor of the ring.
It was embarrassing having finally fallen to the ground, however at the same time her instincts immediately shouted at her to stand up, expecting another attack to be on its way. It appeared though Kasumi was in lock and that was not the case, Asuka had gotten up already as Kasumi did, however she noticed the girl was not pursuing an offensive despite the disadvantage Kasumi was in currently. That confused and startled her slightly, why would that be her next move, it appeared as though she was in a defensive position, waiting for Kasumi, taunting her with it maybe? Then came the insult, a perfect one at that echoing her last statement to Askua.
“Oh if you mean me, you would be wrong I’m far from losing that, I could see though when you have so little it’s easy to assume it would be lost so quick.” Kasumi retorted back as she wiped some more sweat from her forehead.
Again Kasumi got into a stance like position before engaging her opponent. Her techniques and styles very skillful yet primitive in their base origin, Kasumi would use her good amount of agility to quickly close the gap between the two of them before making quick precise strikes from the left and right side of Asuka aimed at the sides of her head and shoulders. They were quick and with such short distance they were bound to impact if not on their intended target at least on her arms as she tried to defend, either way though it was sure to leave a mark.
It was taking time, but these new techniques she had tried were starting to see more natural to her, they were very similar to the Bando techniques she had already known. It was a different style that was sure, but it was easier when the techniques and styles shared similar origins. Kasumi would continue her assault on Asuka, preparing himself for her counter assault, she knew by now there was no way Asuka would end here nor have a plan for further regaining any ground that may have previously been lost.

"The weak fall, but the strong will remain and never go under!"
Kasumi was glad to see that one or two of her strikes were able to hit there mark and although they were no debilitating it was clear some were solid enough they most likely would leave a bruise. However the brief amount of joy was lost as a strike from Kasumi soared over Asuka’s head, she having quickly dodged to avoid it. Kasumi was barely able to react with the limited mobility she had in the given situation bringing her body in and stomach inward to cushion the blow, though it did little. The blow hit its mark albeit a ways back from where it would have had its full potential. It was still enough to knock the wind out of Kasumi significantly not even her snake stance was able to fully allow her the agility needed to dodge. She staggered backwards, her legs weak for a moment before she could stabilize herself again.
Asuka’s stance had changed she was now more composed then before, some actual skill showing itself, not to say she didn’t have any before. The two girls were no longer talking, even to be snide to one another, it had gotten increasingly more intense the situation presenting itself more serious each moment that passed.
Suddenly Asuka took off her movement quick and fluid as she came at Kasumi. It took every bit of concentration she had to try and keep up with her. Quickly she blocked her left punch, then shifting almost instantly to block the punch coming from the right, however she was unexpected in the sudden curve of the punch as the blow made contact with the side of Kasumi’s head, grazing off her arm, luckily lower the initial impact, but not by much. The blow was harsh and knocked Kasumi to the ground, startling her slightly, and taking her a moment to regain her composer though that was about all the time she had as a kick came across at her. She quickly rolled out of the way, before standing up finally and regaining some composure.
Kasumi would look at Asuka, rage and embarrassment at her defeat in the last bout, there certainly would be a bruise adorning her right side, she could feel it already. However Kasumi was no willing to simply sit down just yet, her body was getting weaker, there was no doubt in that, but as it did adrenaline to win kept surging throughout her. She wanted to win this, she needed to win this, and she certainly wasn’t going to give up as long as she was still able to stand.
Kasumi came in quickly the adrenaline surging through her as she attempted another stance she has practiced on her own slightly. Her movements quick, accurate aiming for Asuka’s mid-section. He eyes flaring with desire and need to win. She was determined, she wanted this more than anything, each of her swing full of as much force as she could muster.
Name: Stance of the Panther Class: Hand to Hand Technique Type: Offensive / Supplementary Range: Self. Tier: III Description: Stance of the Panther is the mixture of incredible offense and quick movement. When utilizing the stance of the panther, all of your movements are silent other then obvious abilities that would give you away. Your hands are also augmented with increased punching power each, making this stance one of the most deadly stances.
For a brief moment, Asuka regretted her last attack. It seemed that it caused more damage on Kasumi than intended. She never expected to be so forceful, making Kasumi drop on the floor. She wasn't so used to it, so she couldn't control the force added on that punch. She was about to go near Kasumi to check if she was alright, offering her her hand to stand up. Though, before she made a single step, Kasumi stood up all furious and determinated.
That is not good... Asuka could see it already. Even though her high endurance, she had started getting tired. She had to either end this fight quickly, or lose it. Kasumi dashed forward. Asuka, by Kasumi's body stance, could realise that she was going for mid-height attacks. She bended her knees, on leg slightly behind to maintain balance and prepared herself. She brought her arms at her side, so she would have a decent range of blocking. But hell, how could Kasumi strike so hard and fast after all this fight? Asuka could barely block her attacks. She didn't expect such a heavy assault, so she didn't prepare herself for dodging. She got striked pretty hard, twice or thrice on her stomach, making her lose most of the air in her lungs. She even had to raise her knee in order to block a direct strike toward her stomach.
You could clearly see the pain in Asuka's eyes, as they were barely open. "Fuck this...", she muttered and left herself wide open. But she didn't give up. She left all her defense aside in order to go full offense. She again tried to perform the straight jab on Kasumi, in order to make her stop her flury of attacks. Though, it was pretty weak, after all those strikes Asuka received. Luckily for her, Kasumi didn't attempt any direct attacks on her head or legs, otherwise she would have been already on the floor.
After her first strike, Asuka would charge toward Kasumi, with her knee raised up for a thrust, in order to make Kasumi straighten her body up. Then, if that happened, Asuka would wrap her arms around Kasumi's waist in a swift motion and lock them together. She would raise her up on the air, spin a couple of times and slam her on the ground, with her body on top. If all of her plan worked, Asuka would stay on the floor, her upper body ontop of Kasumi's stomach, raise her arm and say with a calm and teasing voice, "I give up."

"The weak fall, but the strong will remain and never go under!"
Kasumi, proud that she had successfully landed several blows let her pride get too much of herself. She had gotten so wrapped up in her offensive attacking that she became completely oblivious to the well placed, quick jab of Asuka. Though not weak the sudden unseen jab did its job of throwing Kasumi off of her attack stance, placing her at bit of a confused and disoriented state for a moment.
The disorientation was enough that Asuka was able to successfully charge Kasumi, who naturally straightened her body in order to avoid the thrust of Asuka’s knee. Asuka though clearly had been planned and she thought through her counter measures. Asuka’s arms wrapped around Kasumi and although she struggle, the momentum was gone and Kasumi could not bring across enough energy to resist completely as Asuka lifted her up into the air slamming her down on the ground, with her own body on top of Kasumi’s.
Kasumi struggled tried to resist, but she couldn’t do anything. She was clearly and to her dismay pinned, she could not move and was at the mercy of her opponent. Though oddly enough, as Kasumi looked up into Asuka’s eyes, her own eyes burning with a passion her cheeks read with frustration and embarrassment, the girl utter the words that she gave up the fight.
It confused Kasumi and she didn’t know what to think, her body relaxed as she continued to look Asuka in the eyes, her angry slowly being replaced by embarrassment. She had been bested and it was more than humiliating she was sure she could have won that, but when it was all said and done, it appeared as though that was not the case at all.
“Give up….I guess…you don’t have any pride.” Kasumi said with a little smirk, she paused for a moment before continuing, “Also do you plan on staying on top of me all day?”
Asuka didn't even knew why she gave up. But it was fun. Maybe it wasn't for pride or for who was better from the beginning. Maybe it was just for... nothing? For the fun of it? Asuka couldn't explain it. It has been some time since she felt that close with someone, and in such a brief time. Now that she relaxed, her whole body was in some pain, but it was worth it. And her whole body wet, from all the sweat.
"Pride? Pride is much more than just winning a match. Aaaand, I'll leave it at that."
Asuka said with a quiet voice and with a smile, as she turned to look over at Kasumi. She stared into her eyes for a moment, before moving her glance away. Yet, you could notice a sly blush on her cheeks. What was that just now. Asuka felt quite weird. She shook her head slightly to get rid of the thoughts and looked back at Kasumi, with a normal face now. "But, why? It is so soft and cuddly", she said, giggling, at the statement about how long she will stay ontop of her.
She remained there, teasing Kasumi for a bit, then she stood up. As she did that, Asuka offered her hand at Kasumi with a smile. "I guess now I owe you a meal, don't I? And- Oh, let me see that. That did hurt...", Asuka paused her words as she noticed something. She frowned, carefully and gently touching Kasumi's right side of her head, where her strike landed. The bruise was pretty bad, she had to admit. And she felt quite responsibe for it, regretted it. Moving her hand away, she couldn't help but to let out a sigh.

"The weak fall, but the strong will remain and never go under!"
“Pride…it’s not about winning the match, that’s not what I said….” Kasumi took a breath, exhausted from their spar, “it’s about giving up that makes you lack the pride. You’re supposed to give it your all and not hold back. Not just stop….stop…for no reason…” Kasumi said her voice a bit staggered as she spoke out of breath.
She remained silent for a moment though, Asuka still on top of her, as she tried to catch her breath. She was covered in sweat, drenched would have been a better word, from their little fight. Kasumi was able to catch the faint glint of what might have been a blush as the two of them made eye contact, however the Asuka quickly shook that away as she broke their eye contact. Kasumi rolled her eyes as Asuka spoke, it was clear Asuka was teasing Kasumi, not moving for a few moments longer.
Kasumi took her hand as Asuka offered it to her.
“Yeah I suppose you do, huh? You did lose after all, even if it was of your own doing.”
Kasumi let out a hiss of pain as Asuka touched the larger bruise atop her head from the blow she had withstood.
“Don’t touch it! What are you thinking?!?” Kasumi would retort, her tone presenting itself in less and angry sense and more of a “what were you even thinking?” one.
Kasumi despite the feeling of dull pain from her injuries couldn’t help but feel something else too when she looked at Asuka. She wasn’t sure what it was, but she felt a connection of some sort with her. Possibly both of their passion for martial arts? Their shared won’t quite attitude, for the most part, or something else, whatever it was it was an odd unexplainable feeling for the girl.
