The Dangai Spirits 1.007 [EVENT]

The Dangai spirit's movement suddenly halted. A spell had came between its blade and the target, and instead was pushed back by a small bit of force. It was unusual, but it didn't surprise it at all. It stepped back for a moment, as another shinigami appeared. This one also seemed to be of considerable strength. She presented no fear, perhaps a condition after gaining some strength and skill. Already at this time, it was beginning to sense its other brothers confronting others as well. All the information being analyzed and thus everything was beginning to be processed. The energies between the collective conscious started to spread upon the others, having their energy levels match that of their opponents'. After finally getting to the level of the shinigami who began to oppose it, a shot of yellow exploded from the shinigami's palm, launching directly at the Spirit. With a quick step, it jumped forward, aiming to crash down at the shinigami.

The others that appeared began to run, having take instruction from the shinigami who appeared, calling two others. What exactly was going to be different if two more appeared? IT didn't matter, if she wouldn't move from the trajectory, she would surely be cut through with the zanpakuto like katana it held firmly in its right hand. The resulting impact would still cause a tremor to spread out and leave a crater in its wake.

The shield appeared right as the spirit began to descend over the shinigami. As it collided with it, its momentum halted, however that was not the end of it. She made another movement, no, she was still there, but suddenly there was silence as a plethora of slashes began to befell the spirit, overwhelming its power, and ability to heal. There were too many to counter them, and there was nothing from an available brother that could even help the spirit at this time. It was beginning to break apart as the slashes continue to overwhelm it from all over. As the spirit fell from the air, its body began to slowly break apart, unable to even counter it. The particles that made up the spirit began to rise back into the air.

That would have been the end of it, that would have ended if it weren't for the hivemind still intact. As the remaining particles including what was actually left of the dangai spirit began to gather again. Whatever was left from the crack of the realm nearby gathered together, forming the spirit from the mass once more. With the particles now gathered, it appeared, with weapon in hand, somewhat taller than before, and with an even stronger energy signature. If the shinigami turned away after witnessing the spirit dissipate initially, it would use the opportunity to strike her from behind with a hard punching strike. If not, it would continue its previous advancement, and strike at her with its Katana.

Pulling up his blade in defense as the attack came he was taken aback by the sudden surge of intense power that the mysterious figure exploded with. What was going on? This thing was proving to be more and more dangerous with every second. And things got even more grim as the beam of fire slammed into the giant anthropomorphic wolf. While he was able to fend off the base damage of the attack, it still hit pretty hard. As when the smoke cleared with a quick and hefty slash of his Zanpakuto in a defiant manner, Komamura stepped out of the commotion his fur and garments smoking. The smell of singed fur filled his lungs as another growl surfaced into his face.

"We have to obliterate it's entire body at once!" Came the voice of his subordinate in his ears.

No problem.

"Stand back a bit, but hold your ground. This is about to get very dangerous." He commanded Ichika, who was still behind him at the moment.

Red energy began to violently swirl around the captain as he exerted his Reiatsu. His entire body was engulfed in a crimson glow, as a menacing growl escaped his maul. He raised his Zanpakuto and spoke the words he always did when he was ready to obliterate his enemy with single blow. The ground heaved and quaked as Komamura's true power was being released. This power was intense, this power was angry. But most of all this power was deadly.

"Bankai .."

"KOKUJŌ TENGEN MYŌ'ŌŌŌ!"

He bellowed, as the gargantuan figure of armor that was the wolf's bankai came into fruition. All of those who were near this spectacular show of power would feel as if the world itself was about to split apart. He would act fast, and not allow the figure to recover. With a slash of his sword toward his enemy, the giant armor did the exact same. One shot, one kill.

The two on one effort was definitely an interesting strategy. IT would certainly have to utilize this tactic sometime in the future. While the large being behind the wolf taicho swung its mighty blade, a surge of energy pierced it from all around. It was still able to move, but not from that location, securing it to just that one spot. Then, the smaller shinigami unleashed her bankai. It was unable to do anything else, except to perhaps defend. Defending against that oncoming force would be the first thing. With a quick stomp of its foot, a torrent of fire would erupt violently, breaking the light spears, enabling it to move freely giving the spirit a mere split moment to react to the blade as it came down swiftly. With a jump into the air, it would use the quincy step, information gathered by its brethren, and swift passed it in the air. Using not only a push off from the air down to the duo pair, it would then point out two fingers, roaring as it did so all the while, more flames would emerge from all around it. The duo pair were close to each other, enabling it to use an indirect tactic.

As it landed, it would hopefully land inbetween the two, and clash its claws into the ground, resulting in a high powered explosion, hoping to catch the two in its wake.

To operate her Bankai, Ichika had to be decisive. Raising her palm, she pointed it towards the creature at first, though she had to adjust her aim when it blasted it's way out of her Kido and subsequently her captain's attack with an operation of it's own movement technique.

The words from her training rang clear in her head. She wanted to overwhelm her enemy from all sides. As the creature produced more fire in her direction, she was going to release her own power when her captain appeared in front of her. She knew he had the exact kind of decisiveness to defend his subordinates and operate his Bankai. That was the kind of decisiveness that she had to take on.

Without complaint she took her captain's foot strike; her Bankai's range was not so poor that her plan of attack would be compromised when her distance to the enemy increased by a few meters.

Strike only the enemy from all directions. That was her will. Her palm changed to a single pointed finger that seemingly aimed straight through her Captain and at the humanoid shadowspawn. She relied on her ability to sense spiritual pressure to direct her attack.

The two auroras from her shoulders waved and shifted like the flap of a pair of wings. From this action, ten beams of light sprouted and shot towards the two in a tight bundle.

Yet, before it would strike her superior, it suddenly spread out, curving around him as if he himself was sprouting aurora-colored wings. The beams continued moving forth, surrounding the otherworldy being before closing in, leaving it's only escape through the top - where only the edge of a titanic blade approached to spell certain doom.

{Techniques}
Used Light Manipulation for a Tier VI Offensive at medium to long range.

Description: This allows Ichika to freely manipulate the light that gushes out from her shoulders into any manner, shape, or form for any purpose from offensive, defensive, or supplementary (she incurs appropriate cooldowns for each category separately). This consists of the light splitting off from the main streams spouting from her shoulders which may be crafted into a projectile attack or melee attack just as easily as it can be made to block or intercept incoming attacks. Ichika may even fashion this light into any tool she needs in order to aid her mobility and bypass obstacles which can not/should not be overcome by brute force (all miscellaneous objects will last for 3 posts unless the cost is paid again, e.g a Tier III for a 20m range grappling hook). All of this light moves at Cero Speed. Furthermore, she may generate as much light as she needs with as much strength as she so desires, albeit only up to a current maximum threshold of a tier VI per post.

With a heavy heave, Komamura let out a rather large sigh of relief as he watched the monster before he and his subordinate bubble and disappear into nothingness. Thankfully it did not recreate itself, like it did the first time just moments earlier. What was this thing? And where did it come from? A myriad of questions filled the captains head as he deactivated his bankai and with a moment of heavy thought inspired hesitation, he sheathed his zanpakuto at his side. Turning toward Ichika another question bubbled to the surface of his mind; when did she get bankai? And why did she try and be secretive about it?

"Forgive me about the kick." He said to her as he breathing started to go back to normal. His body still hurt and complained from the attack he took however.

He did not mention that it was done out of fear that the next attack could have very well wiped he and Ichika out however. Around him he could feel a few of the others captain reiatsu, which he noticed during the scrap here but now just like with them, it seemed they were overpowering the creatures. It still puzzled him about what exactly was going on.

"Where did this creature come from?" He inquired to his subordinate after verbally making sure she was okay physically.

STepping back from Ichika's newly formed bankai construction he gave her an inquiring gaze. The last few moments had been very intriguing to the large wolf captain, especially since he was not even fully aware of his subordinates capabilities. One day he would have to see just how much she was capable of. But the time for that was obviously not now so he waited in silence as after asking the latter on what she expected out of him, at which point he would listen intently before doing as instructed.

As for the fight that just happened he would need to reach out to the other Captains among the Gotei and find out just exactly what was going on. Was the Soul Society still in any immediate danger? He would have a messenger call for anyone who was not otherwise engaged to be filled in with any information, but he also knew that a meeting of the captains would more than likely be something that head captain Yammamoto would bring into fruition.

"Lets be quick about it, I may have been hurt but we need to not waste any time in resting up, I need to speak to the others immediately to better find out exactly what is going on with all of this."
