The Dangai Spirits 1.005 [EVENT]

Just as it was ready to strike a shinigami had appeared of significant strength. This small thing even dared to shove a dagger into its chest. Without time to even register the blade, it took its left arm, and would back hand swing at the small shinigami in order to launch her away. Regardless of the result, it already began to receive information from other spirits. One by one, as they emerged, somebody was there to greet them and challenge them. It wasn't an issue, the Dangai Spirits need this information, gathering the details of the powers and distributing their strength to match up against their opponents. This spirit rubbed its chest a bit where the knife dug in, however, no blood came from the wound as it slowly closed up.

It would then look over to the shinigami, growling, despite not really being hurt, it still did not like the fact that she attempted to stab it. The other shinigami in the area fled, with maybe on or two watching nearby. This shinigami better come better prepared than a small little dagger.

The shinigami's reaction was uncanny, though it wasn't slow to react either. As it gathered more information directly from another spirit, it was able to begin obtaining power of a different kind. Rapidly, it rose a shield right behind the shinigami made of its own shadow, shooting up at half-bala speeds. Not only will this prevent her from launching back, but she'd collide directly with the shield. With her movement halted, the shield would collapse, and it would have the chance to use an offensive attack, opening its mouth and aiming down it would then shoot a breath of flames that would cover her entirely if she decided not to move. Having already the knowledge of a similar tactic from another opponent being faced by a different spirit.

If the shinigami still managed to get away, it would use the time to stretch out its arm after she had gripped it and nearly torn it out, while it didn't necessarily worried about a lost limb, it was still a pain to deal with a shinigami while only one armed. It let out another roar, taking forward steps to his current target, or an entirely new target dependin on the outcome of the attack. It was only a matter of waiting to see what would happen from the flames.

The shinigami's defense tactics were as brilliant as it's were. She reacted quickly to the physical contact of the shadow shield, and then moved on to the offensive. After the flames had dissipated, it sensed the build up of the shinigami's reiatsu, looking up, it saw the shinigami as it finished her incantation, and launched a dual stream of blue fire aimed directly down at the spirit. It currently didn't have anything in its arsenal from its direct source of abilities to counter it, so when the flames hit the target it burned up rather quickly. Little by little the spirit shrunk till all the particles had been withered away. A possible victory?

The hivemind having detecting a loss in their numbers began to gather the remaining Dangai mass that was left behind in the direct area. It gathered once more as it did before, this time, reforming the spirit as it was before it was destroyed, however, a little stronger. If the shinigami began to walk away from the seen, it would use the chance to charge directly at it, and slash the shinigami across the back. If she was still facing it when it began to reform, it would charge at her ready to strike at any moment.

The shinigami looked to end this battle quickly, releasing her bankai and immediately going on the offensive as she peppered it with blasts of pure energy, its mouth opened, a gout of fire flowing from its open jaw upon the blasts, they would do nothing but weaken the initial attack.

Each hit feeling like a smack from a cannon, causing it to lose balance and forcing it back a considerable distance whilst simultaneously tearing at its body like steaknife through steak,leaving visible if not painful looking wounds. This indeed was the power of bankai and had it not been for its boost in power the fight would have indeed ended there and then. Undeterred however, it would continue to bundle forward, ignoring its injuries for now as it attempted to close the distance, bala spewing from its body like raindrops as it attempted to pepper the shinigami with its own volley, should it draw close enough it would attempt another hack with its sword at the shinigami.
