I know it varies by mastery level, and I'm not looking for any hard numbers, just roughly what sort of distance do you think would be fair for the various mastery levels? Maybe say for like Average, Advanced, and Specialized? Also, since this is mostly just an opinions thing, I'm ok if non-staff decide to weigh in.

Stepping's one of those vague things we have. I can talk to staff about getting rough distances added into the mastery descriptions, but it may not happen. Right now, this is mainly based on the honor system. with the way stepping works, the mastery level is your ability to form multiple steps in a row. The higher your mastery, the less likely you are to trip over your own two feet.
