Diggy [MELTED]

Diggy is smart. Diggy is friendly, but Diggy find it hard to walk the line between friend and food. Hungry means edible must be eaten, sometimes that is people Diggy was friendly to. But hungry means food. Diggy does not like being mean, he tries to be talky, tries to make friend. Diggy gets confused by big and com-pli-cat-ed words. So talking is not very fast with Diggy. Diggy says things like "hm" and "huh" and "Diggy does not understand this". But Diggy tries his best, Diggy does.

People are cruel to Diggy because of Diggy's words and because of Diggy's brain. But Diggy is strong, Diggy can handle the cruel. Diggy can fight them, if Diggy choses to. If the cruel gets mean. If they start hitting or biting Diggy. And people that Diggy is friends with that people get mean to. People don't be mean to Diggy's friends or diggy gets mean. Even though Diggy does not like being mean. He tries to not be mean as much as Diggy can. He tries, Diggy does.

Diggy lived once, he did. Diggy lived in a beach house. Diggy loved the sea and the whosh and the splash of the sea. Diggy loved sand too, Diggy liked to dig big holes in the sand. Diggy's dad always said "China must be close by now". Diggy would laugh. Diggy did not understand it. But dad would smile when Diggy laughed, so Diggy laughed. Diggy did not go to school, people at school were mean to Diggy, so Diggy was at home and mum taught Diggy all his smarts. Diggy loved his mum, mum was Diggy's mum so Diggy loved her. Diggy's mum would cook all tasty things, Diggy cannot remember how they tasted. But Diggy remembers they were tasty, yes indeed, they were tasty. Diggy remembers that.

Diggy had friends, he did. Diggy's friends were upstairs in the toy box. Diggy's blue toy box that said "Diggy" on it. And it was Diggy's, with Diggy's toys in it. And Diggy's friends. The red soldier, the teddy and the rock. Diggy's friends would tell funny jokes that Diggy would find funny. Not like his dads jokes, but like jokes that Diggy would make. And Diggy loved them too. But sometimes they ignored him and this would make Diggy sad.

Diggy was not always Diggy. But Diggy made a new name for Diggy after Diggy died and came back as Diggy. Because Diggy liked to Dig. And so did Diggy's dad. Diggy's dad loved digging so much that digging is the last thing that Diggy remembers. Diggy was playing with Diggy's friend rock one day. Rock had been argu...argu... being mean. With Diggy's friend red soldier, red soldier had hit teddy and rock was not happy that red soldier did that. So Diggy tried to help. Tried to talk to rock, tried to talk to red soldier, and to teddy. But they all ignored him. This made Diggy sad. Diggy's friends ignored him and Diggy just wanted friends.

That was when Diggy heard the being mean downstairs. People with loud talking, dad, Diggy heard. Diggy heard a metal noise. Diggy knew it was his digger. Diggy had a big metal digger for digging holes because dad trusted Diggy to dig holes. Dad used it to dig in the garden sometimes. So Diggy was happy with it. But Diggy heard something that was not digging. Diggy heard a scream. Diggy was scared. Diggy had not heard mum scream before. But Diggy is smart, so Diggy knows it was mum. Diggy is smart. Diggy goes down to see if mum needs help. But dad was mean. And had gone. Mum was gone too. Diggy looked. Diggy could not find them. Then Diggy heard digging.

Diggy went outside and saw dad digging in the garden. Diggy loved digging. Diggy wanted to help. Mum was out here too. Lying down next to the hole dad was digging. Mum must have wanted to help too. Something looked weird about mum. But Diggy was smart, and knew dad was not mean. So mum was fine. Diggy went to help. But dad did not hear. Diggy does not like to shout. But Diggy was scared. So Diggy shouted. And dad was mean. Then dad put mum in the hole, and Diggy shouted. And diggy was scared. Dad was scared too. Dad had Diggy's digger. And Diggy wanted it back. Mum was in the hole. And Diggy wanted to help her dig. But mum was not Digging. And dad was scared. The last thing Diggy saw was digger. Dad is not mean. And Diggy loved mum. Mum made tasty things. And dad loved digging. Diggy loved digging too.

Why did dad put mum in a hole with digger. And Diggy went home because Diggy had slept and was somewhere else now. Then why did Diggy eat dad. Diggy loved digger. Diggy never saw his friends again. Diggy tried to make new friends in sand place. But sand place was full of mean people. Diggy tried to be mean. Diggy liked friends, not mean friends. Why could Diggy not see friends again. Why did Diggy's digging and family have to end. Diggy had loved digging. And now Diggy could dig again. But only if Diggy was mean.
