Ok so, rei control governs one's ability to use their reiatsu and sense stuff... but any sensory techs you make before hitting mastered rei control falls under rei techs. That being the case I don't see why rei passives are limited to pretty much just sensing people when another mastery was given control over that from the start of the characters life. Especially when the guide says your reiatsu gains battle worthy properties at this point, and to be honest all I've ever really seen spec rei users get away with is different aesthetic ways to sense reiatsu. I don't see the point when the mastery already covers three different ways to do that for you and any other sensory tech you would have made would fall under your rei techs... or no actually that's changed now it's only under release. We have two different masteries governing something should only be under one imo, because I don't know why. I feel what rei passives can and can't do really needs to be expanded on as opposed to just "Here, you can sense stuff up 200m away in a unique way that no one else can," which isn't even true because as I said above any sensory abilities made before his mastered rei control just falls under a different mastery.
Anyways that's all I wanted to say.
*tosses two cents in*

I used to have a Rei passive that did static tier damage. The passives you gain from mastered etc arent limited to just sensory.

Yeah but you're limited to a tier 1 unless you spec then you can up your one tech to tier III or get another. I mean how much damage can you really do with a tier I or III at that level, especially when they have no advantages? Also at that point, would be limited to just the one or two rei passives?

Yeah but most people don't rp like that. Actually it was brought to my attention before that people here tend to ignore minor wounds that add up and stuff like fatigue which would actually affect the battle. So i get what you're saying but I feel like maybe we should expand on those then if you plan on leaving rei passives as is, since most people like to think their characters don't know the meaning of exhaustion. Also you never answered, is it just the one or two rei passives that are allowed or can you just make techs governed by rei control at that point like with stepping.
