Modern society limited what Sumire often did anyway. Humans understood little about supernatural creatures which allowed Sumire to take odd jobs time from time. Spirits, being commonplace in Karakura, meant construction of a lab once she acquired needed materials. But right now money remained low and materials were difficult to find. Mother still hasn't sent the books. It's already been over a month since I've requested them." Plus finding research books on alchemy might be what she ended up having to do.
Without books materials or a lab Sumire couldn't start her research. While pondering what route to take to the nearest bookstore Sumire tried ignoring the sights and sounds of daily life within Karakura Town. Despite having lived in Naruki City for some time she still wasn't use to hustle and bustle of the city. The shear tide of people around the train station she left made her feel uncomfortable but Sumire kept an expression wrought in refined stone. She carried such an aura about her that was both proud and dignified.
"There are far too many around." Said Sumire softly. "The pawn shops hopefully aren't this crowded." She said with closed eyes for a moment before opening again. She moved away from everyone walking at a casual pace through the crowed and into stone streets. Eventually she made way towards a few stores and a gym she was currently looking at. "The directions were wrong." Saying to herself she tossed the small piece of paper she carried into a trash can. "Maps are a pain. I should really just learn a spell that lets me map out the area personally."

Kasumi Hisakawa It was an average day, in the not so average town of Karakura. It seemed more than not there was something peculiar going on in the town be it a weird person or weird unexplained events, either way it had started to become common place for Kasumi. The young woman, walked down the streets of the town, headed towards one of her favorite local gyms. It was a cheaper one than most, but it had all the necessary equipment she needed to continue training, why not save some money if you can after all?
Kasumi, adorned in her normal black shorts and a red t-shirt, stood in front of the gym, stopping for a moment to check the bag she carried with her. She had walked her, well jogged in the beginning but the last half-mile was just a walk, no reason to get too disgusting before the actual training started. She rifled through the bag checking the small things like a towel, her water bottle, and things of that nature before looking back up confirming to herself that it was all there and ready.
Only a few feet away from her as she looked up stood a girl, nothing particular special about her in appearance, but she certainly did look as though she had a perplexed look on her face. A map in hand seemed to only confirm that she had no idea where she was. Kasumi let out a small sigh, she probably should ask if the girl needed any help figuring out where to go, but at the same time Kasumi hated to interact with people in such a way, little pleasantries and talks weren’t typically her thing. She faced back to the door of the gym taking a few more steps toward it, stopped and let out another sigh.
She turned around, now facing the girl, “Do you need help or something?” Kasumi said with a tone of indifference. It seemed common manner got the best of her guilt this time.
