| SOCIAL THREAD #3DIALOGUE: "Abel Delacroix" |
Allowing his reiatsu to poor out, Abel cared little for any repercussions that came upon him thanks to this negligence of his. Right now, he was fixated on killing a Hollow. After going out for lunch, Abel came home to bad news pertaining to someone he knew. One of his only friends, another pure-blooded Quincy like him met their untimely demise thanks to the 'help' of a Hollow. His father discovered the remains after the hollow had consumed it's fill, and tracked the Hollow to a nearby tunnel that lead underground. Encroaching the bowels of the earth, the not so subtle roar of a Hollow erupted from deep within the cave. Not sure whether it was doing so in anger or pain, Abel gripped the Quincy Cross dangling from it's fastened position at his right wrist and constructed his straight-sword. Traveling deeper within, there were loud thuds and banging going on further inside. Debris and sediment was falling down from above, whilst the ground at his feet trembled. And while for the time being he stared down a dark abyss, Abel could see a growing light not too far ahead. And as he grew closer, it became more and more apparent that the light was coming from none other than...a Quincy like him? MADE BY ★MEULK

Liam may be a Quincy. But he certainly was not one like Abel. For one thing he had a great deal of dislike for members of his own clan. Maybe it was because they turned their noses up at the sight of him over something as petty as blood purity. Or maybe Liam just disagreed with the intolerance and racism.
Considering the teen's usually easygoing nature. It was probably more the latter than the former. People could view him in any way they wanted. But he drew the line at outright racism he had seen from other members of his clan.
"Geez, why don't you flare some more. I don't think they felt you over in Naruki." He grumbled, picking up on Abel's Reiatsu. This guy was like an excited kid who just formed his first bow. Sure Liam was making no effort to hide his own Reiatsu, but he wasn't flaring it out an telling the Hollow exactly where he was.
Clicking his tongue, Liam turned on his heel. Making his way out of the tunnel towards his fellow Quincy. He was hardly one to turn down help after all. It usually meant less work for him. Unless of course this Quincy was incompetent and Liam had to expend effort in order to keep his racist ass alive. But at least if this guy didnt know what he was doing. It would make it easier to just knock out the Hollow and throw it on Cybele's doorstep. He'd let the Arrancar queen handle it from there. From what he could tell, she had a soft spot for weaker members of her own race.
"Thanks mate." He drawled as he approached Abel from the tunnel. "Good job on letting him know you were coming. The term stealth doesn't mean much to you does it?"

"Now why would I want that?" The idea as of now was lost on Abel, but the other of his kind was ignorant of his purpose for being here. "I wanted him to know I was coming for him...to know that something worse than death is coming for him." Casting his glance over the Quincy's shoulder, Abel observed the cornered Hollow opening it's maw, ready to take on the challenge they presented by charging a cero inside of it's mouth. His straight-sword also began to accumulate raw energy, though instead of it being reiryokou from within, it was the reishi around them that fueled it's formation. Launching at nigh the same time, their powers collided, creating a plausibly large explosion that engulfed the twenty five (25) meter opening. It kicked up quite a lot of dirt and the like... And while it was mostly debris and smoke along with the rubble of the slightly collapsing tunnel, Abel still held his off-hand over his eyes and face to shield them from the dust, smoke, and otherwise unwanted substances wafting in the air around them. When the cloud settled, Abel could see the half-obliterated hollow desperately struggling to breathe as it's own blood served to asphyxiate itself by filling the available space in it's injured lungs. "This is the least he deserves for having eaten my friend. I can easily imagine a more harsh fate than this one. He will suffer for his sins, just the same as we will for our own..."Acknowledging that the Hollow could no longer put up a fight, Abel allowed his straight-sword to dissipate so that the Hollow could endure the pain of a slow and pitiful death. Liam decided he didn't like this one. The sheer callousness and brutality of how he treated the Hollow was enough. He would be willing to overlook the manner of which he spoke beforehand as simple anger. But such creulty to a Hollow? What does that accomplish? It doesn't bring his friend back. In fact if Abel's friend was human, he just consigned their soul to oblivion. And even then, Hollows at this level were nothing more than wild animals. Leaving it there to suffer from its wounds was just unnecessary.
With a flick of his wrist, Liam sent one of his Spatz flying out from his sleeve. Burying itself right in the Hollow's mask and putting the poor creature out of its misery. It was unfortunate. But there was nothing he could do for the creature. That Man wouldn't so much as raise a finger in order to save a Hollow of all things. He didn't know if Fryst knew how to heal, and he had no way of contacting her. And it would simply take too long to bring it to Cybele for healing or Alexander for an emergency purification.
As regrettable as it was, Liam was forced to end a life in an act of mercy. "Looks like healing needs to be added to the list." He murmured, barely loud enough for Abel to hear. His overall strength, purification, soul-silver and now healing. The list that Liam felt he needed to complete in order to become truly strong only seemed to grow.
With a sigh, Liam finally turned his attention to Abel. "You know, they say that torturing animals that cant fight back is the sign of a psychopath. What do you say?" It was rather hard to miss the low mocking tone in Liam's voice. It was clear enough that he was less than impressed with Abel's conduct. "Was it your intention to blow up half the tunnel? Or do you just have shitty control over your own power?" While dealing with a hostile Hollow was certainly a good thing for the civilians above. A collapsing tunnel could still cause more harm than the Hollow ever could.
