Abel Delacroix

Growing up in Paris, Abel's parents were extremely protective of him through the entirety of his childhood. As a pure-blooded family line of germany Quincy who adopted a french surname to try and mingle with the normal humans of France, they used the commonly known "Kamizaiten (Godly Veil of Unsightly Flesh)" technique to disguise themselves and their kin so that they would not be targeted by any foreign spiritual being.

After reaching age five (5), they began to teach Abel of their spiritual heritage. His father continued to instruct Abel about the role they played in the coming years for Yhwach; Their king and savior. He preached to Abel and spoke as if Yhwach were the greatest man who ever lived, claiming to be ready to put his life on the line for "His majesty".

While Abel's mother had actually tried to keep him away from the idea of joining their king's cause for war, Abel was quickly awed by the reishi training his father began with him at age ten (10), showing him how to produce a sword of reishi with his quincy cross. Finally delving deeper into his maturity, Abel began to understand that his power was in fact a gift.

With going through school proving to be a breeze, it wasn't long before Abel past middle and high school. Not only that, but by age eighteen (18) he was more than capable of manifesting and firing his reishi bow and arrows. He had learned a handful of techniques from his father, and soon enough found himself slaying a select few local hollow terrorizing the area of Paris, France.

However, at age nineteen (19) Abel was brought to the Wandenreich under command of his father. While unable to prove much worth as of yet, there was hope that he would become strong like his father. Unbeknownst to Abel, his father was an exceptionally talented quincy known best for his combat prowess. To prove his loyalty to Yhwach, he had killed a seated Shinigami of the Goteijuusantai.

A couple years have gone by, and Abel is still eager to learn more. Most of all, he is intent on attaining his Vollstandig, a power most known for being used by the Sternritter. However, due to his current lack of special talent compared to the other pure bloods, Abel has become the target of the other quincy's mockery. Being given the nickname "derpnritter n the nobody", he has hung his head low and seeks only to train in solitude in order to prove himself to the Wandenreich.

This is especially due to the recent attack on Abel while he was with a captain of the Wandenreich. Proving too weak to be of any assistance, he was instructed to run while the captain fought him off. Not five minutes after he returned to headquarters, reports confirmed the execution of the Wandenreich captain. Yet again becoming the target of his superior's criticism. Driving him to a point of desperation, Abel's every day is filled with rigorous training, where he practices and refines his technique until he falls unconscious.
