Finally Abel was going to learn something useful from the Vandenreich, and it started with training. Assigned Captain Judith, a Quincy renowned for both her deft use of the Hirenkyaku technique and the curvaceous figure of her's because of it, the cause for this was fairly obvious to him, as well as what they would be doing. Instructed to wait for her in the training area, Abel had made sure to bring his all to this learning session. It wouldn't hurt to make a good impression, right? He was going to hope so, at the very least...
That was when the doors opened, and Abel swallowed the knot in his throat. His last stay in this room was not exactly very pleasant, and it would set a bad tone for Abel's training if he didn't shake it fast. Thankfully Judith, who now entered on her lonesome, was keen on introducing herself. "I understand you are Soldat Abel? It's nice to meet you, I am Captain Judith Ahlborn. I'm sorry to say, but let's start this quickly. I don't want to be late for my date with Captain Johann..." Judith made a dreamy face as she looked up and to the right, as if imagining him or something.
'Figures...' Waving her on, Abel needn't ask or say much anything. He knew what the training today was going to be like, since it was discussed with him by one of the commanding officers. He needed this training in order to keep up with the others who were already ahead of him...quite literally.
"Alright, you start by gathering reishi under your feet. Think about how you accumulate the reishi around you for an arrow, just this time in the shape of a circle or square under your foot. From there....we'll get to that when you're ready." An unenthusiastic look spread over her face, practically dismissing Abel and simply keeping to herself until he could produce the reishi pads under his feet.

Description: Analogous to the Shinigami Shunpo or Arrancar Sonido, the Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over short distances; according to Ishida Uryû it is faster than flash steps, though Kurotsuchi Mayuri's superior speed suggests that this is just a generalization. To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances. Kurotsuchi Mayuri compliments Ishida Uryû on being able to use this technique at such a young age, suggesting that it's difficult to master.
Quincy Exclusive and cannot be chosen as a starting technique. It may be learned at the rank of ML or higher.
