APPEARANCE
Makoto is a handsome young man with shoulder-length black hair that reaches up to his shoulders, stylized in a way that loosely mimics a bouffant, and deep-crimson eyes make him appear like a demon devoid of all human emotion, which add credence to rumors that he was a legendary assassin or soldier of fortune before he came to Soul Society, much to his chagrin. Because of this, people normally regard him as a dangerous person who must never be approached unless necessary, but it cannot be denied that many are interested in this mysterious young man whose emotionless features seems to belie the true nature of this largely misunderstood individual. He also wears rimless glasses with non-prescription lenses in order to make himself look less threatening.
PERSONALITY
Makoto is generally considered to be a dangerous individual by some, but in reality, he is more a victim of his own appearance than he is the killer people mistake him to be. A passive, calm, and polite person at heart, Makoto’s easy-going manner of dealing with the people allows him to easily talk to those who have gathered enough courage to converse with him who, for their part, would quickly find the young man’s outer appearance is only an unintentional camouflage for the intelligent and well-mannered person who is easy to get along with. He smiles a lot when in front of those he considers his friends, but usually tends to maintain a stern expression whenever he goes out to conduct his business due to his adamant belief that one needs to separate one’s attitude during working hours and leisure time – a principle which, to his dismay, tends to brand him.
During his free time, Makoto often reads books about law, philosophy, and governance and considers Plato, Nietzsche, Kant, and Hobbes to be his favored authors whose literary works inspired him to take up a spot in the Shinigami Academy in order to be able to have access to expand his horizons and satiate his desire for even more knowledge. As such, one can usually find Makoto poring over difficult books in the school library or spending his time writing down his musings for the day on his personal diary. Occasionally, he performs martial arts as a form of meditation more for himself than actually communing with his own zanpakutō.
HISTORY
Before the person named Makoto Munakata came into existence, he was called Project Gemini – a set of genetically-modified clones of the Lex Aeterna agent, Knight, created by occult-scientists of the infamous 7th Liturgical Fleet of the organization's Arcana Legios. Their goal was to make use of the alchemic arts to mass-produce powerful combat-oriented homunculi for the Lex Aeterna for the purpose of fortifying their military assets worldwide with ‘expendable demons’. Despite clear warnings from the latter that further action in the specified project would leave the organization with no choice but to declare Exterminatus upon them, they did not heed the warning and were ultimately decimated, ironically, at the hands of the one person whom Project Gemini revolved around.
At the time the project’s untimely cancellation and the termination of all the project products, only one out of the five prototype clones managed to reach full maturation into its twenty-four year old form. However, since it was not implanted with any skills other than a copy of what the original’s true mental characteristics, the prototype was only as good as Knight before he had any formal training in the occult arts, and where the only connection it has to its original were its features, personality, and the original’s incredibly nimble and ambidextrous hands. Otherwise, he was a clean slate through and through – a fact which quickly manifested itself upon entering Rukongai.
Alienated from his life as a living human being, Makoto’s first memories were that of wandering the streets without knowing who he was or what he should be doing. He had no memories of his past life because he was never given a chance to live and neither did he know how to converse with other people because this was the first time he had ever seen anyone. The lack of experience with communicating meant that he spoke very little and displayed almost no emotion whatsoever which, coupled with his menacing outward appearance, led people – especially some of the former military personnel – to believe that he was something he was not: the legendary hero who either tried to save them from impossible odds or the mechanically-efficient killer who did them in. The first few weeks were a living hell spent begging for scraps, running away from men who tried to kill him, and enduring the biting cold nights on the streets.
Fortunately for him, an old member of the Lex Aeterna who was now worked as a well-to-do tailor in Rukongai eventually found the lad while begging for food and, driven by the fact that he looked so much like his beloved captain, immediately adopted him into his house located at the Fifth District where he quickly learned the finer arts of the fashion trade by helping his adoptive family and their small assembly of workers sew high-end kimonos, getas, obis, and the like for their high-profile clientele. It is also the place where he obtained the name he now cherishes with all of his heart: Makoto Munakata of the Munakata Tailor Shop.
While it was clear from his adoptive father’s eyes that his son was skilled with his hands, had the ability to persevere well past the breaking point, and an sponge for a mind that easily absorbs all knowledge given to him, he noticed that Makoto’s interest lay in reading books about law, politics, and government, albeit still maintaining a high affinity with the tailoring trade. He talked to his son about it and, in the end, both parties agreed for Makoto to enter into Shin’ou Academy in order to provide with him the best education to achieve his dream of becoming a member of the esteemed Central 46, or at the very least, open up a law firm. On the side, he promised that he would also wear his father’s clothes to school to advertise their shop without cost and without the need to secure advertising permits from the municipal council.
On his first take of the exam, he garnered one of the highest test scores in history and displayed a certain degree of control with his reiatsu at the start; unrefined, but promising. Because of this, Makoto was immediately placed in the first class of the whole school and, as per his special request to the school administration, was allowed to wear his own personalized and fashionable uniform to school instead of the usual student garb most were required to wear: a white polo shirt covered with a black student's breast coat with the Academy logo emblazoned on the left breast, a blood-red tie, slacks, black knee socks, and leather shoes. Makoto currently lords over the Shin’ou Student Council as its youngest president whose aim is to convince the school to change its dress code into something more modern like the clothes of those who reside in the human world. After all, as Makoto believes: ‘Being smart does not excuse you from forsaking your good looks with an outdated fashion sense.’

Those with Advanced Healing or Advanced Kido can go further and can heal even lost limbs, which take about 4 posts to regenerate. Kidoshu members will take 2 posts longer to heal this. Some internal injuries can be healed, while injuries like cuts in the heart cannot. This technique cannot heal poisons and other ailments.

OTHER
Reigai (例外, Exception)
Type: Supplementary
Class: Pseudo-Shunko
Tier: I - IV
Range: Self
A form of kidō casting Makoto has developed based on the theories of Shunko combined with the use of the Morse Code. It completely abandons the conventional oral method of chanting a spell or release phrase of a zanpakutō and instead substitutes minute and controlled pulses of reiatsu to produce the effect desired. This kind of casting has the advantage of allowing Makoto’s attack pattern to become nigh-impossible to determine until released, but nevertheless follows the basic rules for kidō and release usage and requires an in-depth knowledge either art to fully bring out the skill's true potential.

BATTLE SKILLS
Shunpo (Flash Steps)
Type: Stepping Class: Stepping Tier: I
Range: N/A
A movement technique that allows the user to move extremely quickly over short distances. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. Therefore, what determines the level of skill in a user for Shunpo is best characterized by how fast one can get from A to B in the least amount of time.

SEALED FORM
In its sealed form, Omoikane takes on the appearance of a plain kaiken with a black handle and black scabbard, with the only deviation being the golden inscription etched on both sides of the black sheath which reads: '起死回生' (To turn a hopeless situation around). The blade itself sports a double-edged design which stretches up to five inches in length to make up more than two-thirds of the nine-inch weapon.
Due to its conveniently small size, Makoto opts not to wear his zanpakutō openly upon his person since he fears that doing so would only add to the already threatening appearance he already has. Instead, he hides Omoikane inside his customized uniform's tamoto, a decision which likewise fits his preference for bare-handed fighting and the penchant for resorting to the use of Omoikane's powers when he is left with no other choice but to do so.
SPIRIT APPEARANCE
Omoikane takes on the appearance of a beautiful young woman about eighteen years of age with braided purple hair that reaches the arch of her back and long blade-like bangs carefully parted in order for one to see the fullness of her divine features. She normally wears a modified white ikan with shoulder-less drooping sleeves normally seen on a furisode, worn over a short-sleeved purple kosode which shows the maiden’s form-fitting black bodysuit. Both the ikan and the kosode stretch down to the floor much like their traditional counterparts, with the exception of the middle portion which cuts three inches above the knee to form a skirt.
To compliment her unique ikan, Omoikane sports white silk stockings and uses purple silk slip-on shoes with softened tatami soles, but occasionally uses varnished geta with thick red straps when she feels on flaunting her smooth ivory legs. Also worn together with her entire ceremonial ensemble are her black cloth wrist bands which serve to keep the portion of her bodysuit from riding up her wrists.
Other than her usual official attire, another modified article of clothing she wears is her headpiece, a work of art in itself. It was designed to be a silken hat best described as a midpoint between a kanmuri and a wataboshi, incorporated with a tinge of Western design by adding in light embroidery and thin ruby disks delicately sewn onto the left and right sides of the hat itself. Also in the spirit of personalized accessories would be Omoikane’s rimless glasses with non-prescription lenses that have a similar design as her master’s own.
SPIRIT PERSONALITY
A calm, quiet, and gentle individual, Omoikane is as every bit as relaxed as her master and compliments his own personality to an incredibly fine point. While she rarely utters a word and prefers to be silent as she is lost in thought, she occasionally speaks up in the event she feels that her master failed to notice critical points in situations, although such advice is often in the form of vague hints and riddles. She enjoys making Makoto think hard and feels immense delight whenever he manages to figure out what she is trying to convey.
Similar to her master’s own traits, Omoikane absolutely adores reading and is considered to be a bibliophile who simply loves to learn for the simple sake of learning. As such, Omoikane is an incredibly intelligent individual who is well-versed in almost anything and everything under the sun – a walking, talking receptacle of information from a plethora of subjects both important and mundane.
INNER WORLD
Omoikane resides in Makoto’s inner world, a beautiful tropical paradise adorned with nature’s abundance and beauty. Crystal clear waters lap against the white sand beaches of the sole island in the seemingly endless blue horizon, warmed by the gentle rays of an early morning sun which coalesce with the soothing coolness of the sea breeze. She lives in a half-modern house by the shore which extends up to shallow part of the beach, thus giving those who visit the perfect view of the wondrous haven they have chosen to visit.
Apart from it being the paradise that it is, the island also doubles for a Zen camp since it provides absolute silence and peace while surrounded by the gifts of nature that remains untouched by the hands of development. This is the reason why both Omoikane and Makoto love it – a place that is theirs alone where they can read books and relax in peace for as long as they desire.
SHIKAI
SHIKAI APPEARANCE
When released in Shikai, Omoikane's dagger form shatters like broken glass and takes on whatever form Makoto desires, but usually starts out as the form of a crystalline sunflower pin badge ten millimeters (10mm) in diameter, usually worn on the underside of Makoto’s right-side lapel. The badge’s design is an incorporation of both a sunflower’s main features and its celestial namesake, designed to mimic traditional brush stroke patterns of a master calligrapher. The ten petal-coronas that look like tongues of sun-fire pointing outward represent the all-encompassing rays of the sun spread to all directions while the central circle houses the convergence point of the petals, a direct reference to a traditional Japanese belief that the sun is from where all earthly authority emanates from.
Despite its deceptive appearance as a mere aesthetic decoration at that point, when needed, Omoikane’s glass frame shatters into thousands of minuscule particles that float around Makoto, inundating his immediate area in a cloud of sparkles when a light source is present, in a phenomenon colloquially referred to as ‘Angel Dust’. These floating shards can be controlled (Bala-speed) at will for a maximum of fifty meters (50m) and are as sharp and durable as their zanpakutō form allows, thus becoming extremely versatile tools used to attack, defend, or fool his opponents as part of his ruse-centric fighting style.
In the Shikai’s combat state, the area around Makoto becomes a veritable spherical minefield of floating glass particles capable of scourging the unprotected flesh of anyone and anything that comes into contact with them. Its most notable capability, however, is that the glass shards have the ability to one-sidedly cast numerous images of Makoto within its area of effect to give the impression of absolute omnipresence.
Many mistakenly refer to these fractal entities as illusory constructs when they are anything but; for while they are indeed mere reflections of a chosen subject, their frames are still composed of the glittering shards imbued with all the attributes of a Shikai-level zanpakutō, including the ability to make them even more dangerous than their initial form already makes them, although at some times at the cost of speed.
Enkō Sokugetsu: Oboreru Saru (猿猴捉月•溺れる猿, Gibbon Catching The Moon: A Drowning Monkey)
Type: Poison
Tier: IV (Cooldown: 1)
Range: 100m in diameter
Makoto deconstructs the already fine glass shards into even smaller particles (Cero-speed) to an extent that they can easily be inhaled or wheedled through layers of protection. Once inside the victim’s body, the particles revert to their original size and cause internal damage, grating and cutting vital organs to shreds with the violent tenacity afforded to a Shikai-state zanpakutō until the victim eventually succumbs to the injuries made by them.
Other than through Makoto’s will, the shards can be repelled by an exertion of reiatsu or an equivalent method of protection (Tier IV or higher) or expelled from a victim's body through the same amount of power, although in the case of the latter, the expulsion of the grown shards would nevertheless cause significant damage akin to being stabbed hundreds of times. Absorbed shards are also unable to be expelled if the afflicted person has an active mode of protection higher than their incarnation's inherent sharpness.

Amano Hagoromo (天の羽衣, Heavenly Feather Robe)
Type: Passive
Tier: I
Range: 100m in diameter
An ability which allows Makoto to channel his reiatsu through Omoikane and manifest any of his Kidō or Reijutsu from anywhere within the reach of her Shikai form as if it were he himself who was standing there casting it.
An advanced application of Omoikane’s Shikai form which effectively turns the glass shards into dimensional portals by channeling Makoto's reiatsu between two points to create an inter-spatial link to allow them to instantly switch places, although those who can react instantly to Makoto's beyond-normal exertion of reiatsu through Omoikane (Zanpakutō Mastery vs. Stepping Mastery) can easily dodge it, otherwise the switch is an inevitable certainty. This ability can be used anywhere on anything as long as it is within range of Omoikane's shards. In addition, targets that have switched places with Makoto are briefly stunned in place (refer to Binding Rules) after the trans-dimensional exchange.
So I am assuming that I am not going to grade your release techs until they are ready to be graded. Also for your 'Reigai'. Do you have any reason that you are allowed to have a psudo Shunko ability? Was it an already approved ability or something?
At least needs to also have a type. [ie/reiryoku, kido, other thing that isnt stated]
