HISTORY
Kyouko Murayama is a woman with a pedigree, the descendant of the legendary Marshal-Admiral of the Imperial Japanese Navy Mineichi Murayama. Through her military career, she has held to the beliefs of death before dishonor, courage in the face of insurmountable odds, and an extreme sense of nationalism that's kept her one of the most well respected and sought out Admirals of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. (JMSDF) Kyouko was not the woman she is today that she was many years ago, however, and it took a great deal of life experiences for the young girl to blossom into a strong, independent woman.
From the minute she came out of her mother, her father was barking orders at her. Life in Japan, as many might know, is a very strict and firm lifestyle. One honorific out of place, one incorrect facial expression and she met the cold, hard back of her father's hand. Her mother was against this form of corporal punishment, but rather than make the young girl resent or fear her father it caused her to grow stronger. He explained to her time and time again that he was only trying to toughen her up for the life that was to come in the future. Though she did not understand it fully, the respect she saw surrounding her father - a military man - made her believe his words to be true. Her mother was a homemaker and taught Kyouko a great many things about how to take care of the homestead, for the day that she would be a wife herself. When she expressed her desire to follow in her father's footsteps, while he praised the idea her mother was staunchly against it. Regardless, Kyouko focused her sights on joining the National Defense Academy of Japan and when she hit her high school years (the rest of her life up to this point was uneventful apart from being a huge tomboy who focused more on buffing her body and expanding her mind than romance or going out to see movies) she entered amid a sea of laughing, mocking boys.
These taunts did not continue for long. Being harassed and hit on by one of her fellow students, Kyouko would unleash self-defense techniques taught to her by her father and surprised those around her in the skill she had within her body. The boy apologized and introduced himself as Kyousuke Nagato, the prestigious son of the Marshal-Admiral to come before Kyouko's ancestor. The two gained a friendship off this fact and off their combined skills, and would constantly compete with one another as friendly rivals. Hearing of the pair's prodigious skills caused the instructors to focus on them rather heavily, and before either of the two knew it they were performing such basic training activities as patrol, gunnery, mine sweeping, convoy operations and maritime transportation. For six months and four years this continued, and before either of the two knew it they were sent onto an Atago-class cruiser. Years of service was performed with little conflict, though it wasn't long before Kyouko was once again mocked by another troop of sea faring Maritime officers. Words exchanged, fists flew, and punishments were heavily handed out. Despite this, Kyouko's father praised her actions and Kyouko tearfully embraced him after he claimed that he was proud of her.
This happiness would not last for very long. Kyouko's father passed away when she was in her twenties, which caused her to put in a temporary LOA to take care of the preparations for both his funeral and taking care of her mother. It was around this time that Kyouko began to see apparitions floating around. This was nothing too shocking due to the Japanese culture of youkai, but what did shock her was when she noticed her own father's spirit chained to their home. Not wanting to spook her mother whom she knew could not see such beings, Kyouko inquired to why he was still around. The two spent a long time conversing, and Kyouko was able to gain closure for the things she did not know about him. Unexpectedly, when Kyouko went to meet with him the next day she discovered a woman in black robes tapping her father on the forehead. When his spirit disappeared, Kyouko flew into a rage and attacked the man with the ancestral saber passed down to her from her father. This proved fruitless as the man merely avoided the blade and tried to calm the situation. Kyouko got her bearings rather quickly and the man promised that he would be back to explain everything.
When he returned a year later, Kyouko had grown considerably. She was far more patient, far less irritable, and far, far more confident. Kyouko was explained about the life of Shinigami, the cycle of the world, and various other aspects of Shinigami culture. She was intrigued, but their conversation was cut short as a black beast appeared before them wearing an odd Mayan looking mask. The Shinigami, whom had introduced himself as Ran prior, described that this was a Hollow and went through the tl;dr version of what they were. Ran was unable to face off against the Hollow due to a poison attack from it's frog-like tongue, and while Kyouko should have been paralyzed in fear she instead stood against the Hollow. Brutally unmatched, Kyouko drew her father's saber and pointed the tip of the blade toward the Hollow.
"Foolish human, do you think you can touch me with such a pitiful weapon?"
"Silence, cur. This is the sword of my father, and carries the will of the Murayama within it."
"Miss Murayama, don't--!"
"Listen to your Shinigami friend, girl. I'll force you to your knees and devour you whole!"
"Try it, monster! I am Admiral Kyouko Murayama of the JMSDF..."
As she proclaims her name, the beats attacks. Kyouko is ready, and fakes to the left before moving right. Her hands glow with reiryoku that she doesn't rightly understand, but there would be time later for explanations. Instead, instinct causes her to wrap the blade with her reiryoku. It snaps from the weight of blocking the Hollow's attack and Kyouko is blasted against a building. Every bone in her body aches and she can swear at least one or two ribs are broken. It doesn't matter to her. The reiryoku transmogrifies itself and takes the shape of where the sword once was. When Kyouko leaps into action, she cuts the Hollow's poisonous tongue from it's mouth. A shriek fills the night air, and Kyouko does the only thing she can think to do: She tosses the Shinigami's Zanpakutou to him. Ran leaps into action, and the two perform a cross slash that simultaneously cuts off either of the Hollow's arms.
"No... this isn't possible! How could I lose to the loathsome combination of a human and a Shinigami?!"
With loud cries that fill the morning air, Ran and Kyouko finish off the Hollow in a bright display of blood and spiritual essence. The sun peeks over the clouds and Kyouko, unable to continue walking, passes out. Ran passes out next to her, and a unit of Shinigami come to discover him whilst Kyouko's mother comes out to bring her inside. When Ran meets Kyouko next, he explains to her what she had done. The spiritual essence that was within her body, no doubt stirred from speaking to her father for so long and being around Ran, had finally come forward. Years were spent training this craft, and in this time Kyouko returned to active duty. Her resumed time in the JMSDF caused her to meet a large number of female and male recruits who were also afflicted with what they considered to be a "curse." Catching wind of a "monster" within the seas around the Izu peninsula, Kyouko requested and was given her own Kongō-class destroyer to deal with the problem. The higher-ups didn't want to even acknowledge it, so it was an easy force to create. Dubbing themselves the "Spirit" Division of the JMSDF, Kyouko and her ragtag band would spend a majority of their time training their spiritual powers upon their ship whilst also attacking large, sea faring Hollow.
On the ship was also Kyouko's old rival, who became the Vice Admiral of the ship, Kyousuke. When Kyouko gained some shore leave, she spent her mother's last years alongside her and bid her a tearful goodbye. When Kyouko returned to her ship, each member of her division gave a moment of silence for Kyouko's mother which was followed by a strong speech from the woman. Spying Ran years after her mother's demise, Kyouko gleefully allowed him access onto the ship. He claimed that his boss wished to speak with her, whom she did not know by name but understood must have been the Captain of whatever division Ran belonged to. Kyouko was brought into the Soul Society and was given the same kind of look that she might have given a foreigner. No surprise there... She was brought to meet with the enigmatic, well known figure called Mayuri Kurotsuchi. He extended the offer to her that she could become something greater than she ever hoped to be. Inquiring further only caused Kurotsuchi to explain he knew all about Kyouko's activities in the Izu peninsula and explained to her how what she and her troop was doing upset the balance. Naturally, Kyouko was upset over this but did not allow it to show on her face.
Kurotsuchi claimed that Kyouko did not have a choice in the matter and that he was giving her the opportunity to save her underlings. Insulted, Kyouko strongly claimed that she would not heed demands, and that she was the one who extended demands. Regardless, she understood as much as necessary about the balance and agreed to undergo the dangerous transformation. The pain she underwent was absolutely brutal but she kept a stiff upper lip and a tough, unwavering brow. When she was introduced to the others, her commanding aura practically radiated from her. During each combat exercise she barked out orders, something she found herself rather good at given her background in the JMSDF. Coming out of things being one of the few survivors, Kyouko was immediately assigned to Squad One and continues to serve them to this day as their representative Substitute-Shinigami. It was a combination of these drills and the time she spent explaining her powers and status to her troops that she mastered the powers given unto her, most notably gaining help from Ran and discovering what shikai even was in the first place. It was remarkable for her to attain it in the time she had, but she was a prodigy after all. This sort of thing wasn't difficult for her.
Eishōhaki (詠唱破棄, "Incantation Abandonment"): is the skill in which a Kidō practitioner skips using a spoken incantation completely, but it drastically weakens the spell. This is applied as a 1-2 tier drop in the spells power depending on ones Kidou mastery, 2 for Beginner up to Advanced, and 1 for Mastered and above. However this also lowers the spells cooldown to match the lowered tier, to a minimum of Tier I.e.g A Tier IV Kidou be cast with Eishohaki as a tier II, its cooldown will also be the same at 0 posts.
BATTLE SKILLS
Name: Kazaguruma [風車, "Windmill"] Class: Hand to Hand Technique Tier: III Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: Kazaguruma is comprised of two movements, one is which the user jumps into the air at 3x natural speed, leaving a trail of the condensed physical energy behind them, before crashing down with a hard kick at a target knocking them away, up to 50 meters to be specific. Kazaguruma can be used in any manner, either in a frontal kick, sideways, backwards, any numerous amounts of ways to utilize it, and can be used to set up an advantage.
Name: Chouhigezutsuki [超ヒゲ頭突き, "Super Stubble Headbutt"] Class: Hand to Hand Technique Tier: II Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: An incredibly basic attack in which the user simply slams their head onto the person infront of them, causing a 5 meter knockback and doing very little damage outside of a bruise on the point of impact.
Name: Oni Dekopin [鬼デコピン, "Oni Headpoke"] Class: Hand to Hand Technique Tier: III Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: Oni Dekopin is a condensed blast of physical energy in the form of a finger flick to the head, which is usually seemed as a harmless gesture. Upon impact, it deals very little damage, almost equivalent to a bala, but sends the target flying at Cero speeds, going at the most 100 meters.
Name: Ikkotsu [一骨, "Single Bone"] Class: Hand to Hand Technique Tier: IV Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: Ikkotsu is the result of incredible spiritual and physical energy being pumped into a single thrust of the arm, which causes instantaneous damage before blasting the opponent away up to 100 meters in distance, the damage itself aimed to crush completely through something, rather then break it.
Name: Tsukiyubi [撞指, Thrust Fingers] Class: Hand to Hand Technique Tier: IV Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: By putting pressure into a single point in between two fingers, the user of Tsukiyubi can instantaneously blast somebody back with just a touch, sending them upwards of 50 meters away upon impact.
Name: Gatoringu Jidanda [ガトリング(地団駄), "Gatling Mad-Stomping"] Class: Hand to Hand Technique Tier: IV Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: By condensing incredible amounts of power into the legs, the user of Gatoringu Jidanda, utilizes the power in the legs to rapidly kick a target in question up to 5 times in a row.
Name: Point A to Point B Class: Stepping Type: Stepping Range: N/A Tier: I Description: A stepping technique Kyouko uses when not being a Shinigami. It functions exactly the same to her Shunpo apart from the sound of crashing waves being heard each time she does it.
Name: Shunpo (Flash Steps) Class: Stepping Type: Stepping Range: N/A Tier: I Description: A movement technique that allows the user to move extremely quickly over short distances. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. Therefore what determines the level of skill in a user for Shunpo is best characterized by how fast one can get from A to B in the least amount of steps.
ITEMS
The hilt of a Type 98 Japanese military saber. The blade has been shattered but the hilt is still kept to be utilized with Kyouko's Human Powers.
REIATSU FEATURES
Kyouko's reiatsu is a pure white color and gives off a very strong, domineering nature.
Name: Daughter of Japan Class: Reiatsu Control Tier: I Type: Passive Range: Self Description: Kyouko's reiatsu passive. Those who feel her reiatsu feel themselves subtly compelled to listen to what she has to say. She uses this ability to get others who are undecided on whether or not to follow her orders to listen to them. Nothing too complicated. It also inspires those around her, increasing their morale.
Name: Steel Queen of the JMSDF Class: Reiatsu Control Tier: I Type: Passive Range: Self Description: Kyouko's second reiatsu passive. Attached to the domineering nature of her reiatsu, Kyouko's reiatsu passive effectively "cancels" the reiatsu passives of others around her should the appropriate advantages be in place.

HUMAN ABILITIES
Name: Bow Before Me Class: Human Powers Tier: III Type: Supplementary (Binding) Range: 50m Description: Kyouko wraps her reiryoku around a target enemy and restricts their movement. If allowed to, given the proper advantages, she will restrict them and force them to, as the technique implies, "bow before me." This, naturally, adheres to the Advantages system with the binding lasting as long as five posts uninterrupted before it must be used again.
Name: Murayama Family Saber Class: Human Powers Tier: III Type: Supplementary (Offensive/Defensive) Range: Self Description: Kyouko wraps her reiryoku around the hilt of her family's saber and causes a blade to form. She can manipulate it's length between a tantou and a noudachi, though ordinarily keeps the blade length of 60 cm. (23 5⁄8 in.) The blade thus gains durability appropriate for the technique tier and can last up to a maximum of 6 posts before it must be reformed. If broken by another technique/object/etc. it can be reformed after a 1 post wait time.
Name: Face Me, Coward! Class: Human Powers Tier: III Type: Supplementary (Offensive/Defensive) Range: Self Description: Kyouko wraps herself with her reiryoku and gains a x2 increase to her strength. The maximum duration for this is technique is seven posts, though Kyouko can end it at any time.
Name: I Have Not Yet Suffered Defeat Class: Human Powers Tier: III Type: Supplementary Range: Self Description: Kyouko wraps herself with her reiryoku. For a maximum time point of 4 posts, Kyouko is able to move her body using nothing more than her reiryoku. This was the most difficult technique to master and what Kyouko calls her "trump card." It allows her to move her body despite being bound by spiritual means.
Izanagi is the right-hand woman of Kyouko, and thus has the same personality befitting such a being. Izanagi addresses Kyouko with the highest honorifics, is a very calm spoken and polite woman but also tough when times call for it. Her most notable trait is her fierce anger, which is exhibited through a smile and gentle words.
INNER WORLD
Kyouko's inner world is the Izu peninsula. Izanagi waits at the helm of the Kongou-class Destroyer that is 100% reminiscent of Kyouko's real life ship.
SHIKAI
SHIKAI APPEARANCE
When Izanagi enters it's shikai state, it transforms from a katana to a noudachi. The blade is jet black and red kanji read out "ぎょくさい" which reads, roughly, "The Honorable Death."
SHIKAI ABILITIES
Name: Seaman 2nd Class "Toriou Mochizuki" Class: Zanpakutou Spirit Tier: III Type: Supplementary Range: 200m Description: Kyouko summons an exact replica of Seaman 2nd Class Toriou Mochizuki, one of her classmates during her time in the academy who perished during a training accident. The only ability he has is scouting, allowing him to scout out to a range of 200m and report his findings back to Kyouko. He is extremely fragile and has no combat capabilities. Once he reaches his max range, he disappears, or after 4 posts have passed. Once he disappears, it requires a single post wait time for him to come back out.
Name: Seaman 1st Class "Asuna Yorizuchi" Class: Zanpakutou Spirit Tier: III Type: Defensive Range: 20m Description: Kyouko summons an exact replica of Seaman 1st Class Asuna Yorizuchi, a very sturdy hand-to-hand combatant who fell off the same ship she served on alongside Kyouko and drowned. Asuna is able to create a 8 foot by 11 foot large barrier of reiryoku that protects everyone behind it from attacks that it is able to block provided it follows the Advantages system. This summon is able to stay out for 5 posts and disappears immediately should the barrier be destroyed. Once she disappears, it requires a single post wait time for her to come back out.
Name: Chief Petty Officer "Mai Hichikaze" Class: Zanpakutou Spirit Tier: IV Type: Offensive Range: 60m Description: Kyouko summons an exact replica of Chief Petty Officer Mai Hichikaze who perished due to contracting ovarian cancer. Mai is summoned wielding a Type 96 LMG that she is able to fire at enemies for the duration she is out. Each bullet hits with the force of a Tier III attack and she is able to fire out up to 30 rounds before the magazine depletes. Once it depletes or once she is destroyed, Kyouko must wait 2 posts for her to come back out.
Name: Captain 1st Rank "Hana Wakamatsu" Class: Zanpakutou Spirit Tier: IV Type: Offensive Range: 100m Description: Kyouko summons an exact replica of Captain 1st Rank Hana Wakamatsu who went down with her ship when it struck a large, jagged rock. She wields twin 6 × 127 mm (5 in)/50 cal 12.7 cm/50 Type 3dual purpose guns. Each of these are able to fire out barrages of .50 cal bullets that all fire with the force of a Tier IV technique provided Advantages add up. Each gun can fire up to 100 rounds before depleted, and after Hana has dissipated (either due to damage or losing all of her rounds) Kyouko must wait 4 posts before summoning her once more.

All four spent in Hand-to-Hand techniques. I took some from the non-starting list because it says we can start with Tier IV capped techniques. If we still can't use those regardless let me know and I'll remove them. (。>口<。)
Stepping
One custom stepping technique added as per the guide allows.
Body Modifications
Swapped out the two allowed for two more Hand-to-Hand techniques. If not allowed just let me know. (。>口<。)
Reiatsu Passives
Two as per the guide allows. (The first and the second allotted to being the Squad One representative.

I have not yet suffered defeat~ I'm not exactly sure what this is in reference to? you normally move your body with brain signals already so is this in regards to whether or not shes trapped in a bakudo? not exactly sure what this tech does so you'll need to clarify.
Seaman 1st Class ~ you will need to specify his hand to hand capability (his mastery of hand to hand, is it mastered advanced etc ; please refer to the tech guide's section on summon for more detail)

Fame Me, Coward Missing a duration.
Asuna Yorizuchi I'm assuming despite the mention on hand to hand, this summon is incapable of such? If she is capable of h2h, you'll need to add in that it's up to average mastery. But either way, you will need to add in a tier level for the wall she summons.
Hana Wakamatsu Because the summon is a tier IV, you won't be able to have its bullets each do tier IV damage. Lower the damage to tier III at the very most.
Summons This is actually my fault for not realizing this earlier, but if you want, you can turn each of these summons into a single technique. The following rule is listed in the tech guide:
-- For releases only, the release itself may be something which grants access to a pool of summons which can be a variety in Tier strength (release weapons such as Zanpakutou may remain). You may still only activate a single Tier summon at a time and normal summoning rules apply, but its perks are that you do not need to create a technique for each summon that is the act of summoning it - it can apply to all your summons. This is essentially a technique that can summon any one of your summons instead of making multiple techniques for the act of summoning them separately. You cannot add, edit or take away summons from your arsenal once the release is perfected. This means Average for Shikai-level releases, and Mastered for Bankai-level releases.
So, how you'll go about doing this is listing each summon into a single technique. You'd list the tier as varies, the range as varies, etc. In the description, you would describe each summon and its capabilities. If you do decide to do this, you'll be able to create three more shikai abilities, if you so choose.
Asuna Yorizuchi Sorry, that's my fault. I was a bit hasty in deleting the notification post (we delete them before we start grading that way two staff members aren't grading the same profile at the same time). You're actually going to have to give the wall a tier strength, which I mentioned in my previous post. Because the summon itself is a tier III, the max the wall could be is tier II. Honestly, my recommendation here is to bump the tier up to a tier IV (to make the summon capable of having its own technique pool) and listing the wall as a separate technique, that way it can be tier III, or if you want, even tier IV.
Mai Hichikaze Again, the LMG will need to be its own separate ability.
Hana Wakamatsu What you quoted from the Summons' section is actually in reference to the Summons' strength, not its capability. Look at it this way: the tier is what your character "spends" to perform the ability. You're spending a tier IV's worth of energy to fire off these 100 bullets, each of them dealing tier IV's worth of damage, essentially you're firing off 100 tier IV's only for the price of one. This is why when a technique has multiple projectiles, we make the tier strength of the projectiles lower than the tier. So you're gonna have to lower the tier strength to II.
The bullets will also have to be its own technique. Summons tier IV or higher are able to access their own technique pool, and your bullets will have to be a part of this. With this, you're gonna have to get rid of one of your other techniques to make room for this ability.

I know this is probably a lot to take in, and you may be lost with the summons. If so, it may help to see an example of what I mean by combining the summons into one single technique, and also having a pool of abilities. My character Rin Miyagi has something like this, find her ability called Thunder Beast Familiar Spirit; that's what I mean by having multiple summons in a single technique. And if you scroll up a bit, the techniques listed right above the items section are the Wolf's unique techniques. If you're still lost, I or another staff member could clarify in our next post, or you could shoot one of us a PM and we can go into detail about it.
