Lab Entry #1

It was a new day, a new time to proceed forward with the experiments. Efforts were made to ensure the success of these creatures, implanting the fragments of consciousness into their very surface proved to be both violent, and curious all together. What madness was brought upon me when I had discovered that within the stepped upon grounds laid dormant a complex entity? Surely the eight alongside me did not anticipate the results of the creatures that arose upon their inclusion into self-awareness. We needed to know more, we delve deeper into the core, dug upon different surfaces and took from different masses. It was such an unnoticeable detail that most simple walked by without even a glance. We worked hours, upon hours into discovering that a little computer science, and biology would make evolution seem like an archaic term. The boundless chaos of introducing consciousness to the sub-conscious mind was revolutionary... We didn't know what was to come... we didn't realize what our actions would cause upon the world... They called it... "The Precipice World." We called it uncharted territory. We were fools, but fools who were curious, fools who loved knowledge, but we also loved the power this bestowed upon us.
