From a light sigh that left the lips of a young looking man that walked through the garden in the light of the moon. He wore what many people call normal clothing for the time period, but with a unique item in his possession. In his right hand was a beautiful cane that was tipped with a skull that rested against the palm. With each step, his right leg was greeted with taps to the ground of the cane as he walked. His tattooed ivory skin some would say glowed in the light that the moon greeted his form.
Tap tap tap sounded through the air as he moved through stone trotted path that had be laid to guide one through the garden. His darkened eyes flicked around, his senses alive, listening not for the usual, but for the things that shouldn’t, but for once things seemed normal. For what seemed like 30 minutes sounded by with his walking alone till he came to a certain area which was silent, and peaceful. Nothing looked man made other than a certain lamppost that was sat hanging over a table.
Kiku slipped onto the chair of the table, the cold stone slipped across his hands as he lowered himself before sticking his cane into the ground so that it’d stay erect within arms reach. He reached into his jacket pocket before pulling from it an ebony case, and then a white cloth. He set the case on the table to his right, and flicked it open. The case wasn’t that large, enough to hold a spare watch parts, and a few small screwdrivers. He set the cloth down infront of him afterwards, and slowly unfolded it before revealing a small pocket watch.
Little to the knowledge of most, Kiku prefers silence when working, and often comes to the park at night to do repairs on small objects, similar to watches being as he feels at peace here, plus he isn’t hounded be certain people about his shop while in the process. His focus could be simply on this. He flipped over the watch, placing the face of it down against the cloth before picking up a small flat head screwdriver, and bringing it to the rim that held the little indent that is commonly placed to make it so that people can do what he was doing. Once the back was removed from the watch, he eyed the inner parts. In his head taking the parts that were before him, cataloging them, and looking for issues. One by one, he removed the parts, checking them for error before either putting them back in or replacing them. Though in the end, Kiku found the true error of the watch’s lack of ticking. An internal tumbler was broken, and like that he had fixed it.
His eyes went up to the sky as he packed things back up. “Anything to do tonight…?”
