Fryst Dronning
Fryst had been living in this modern Japan for awhile now, almost eight months and had grown accustomed to it. She liked the atmosphere that it brought, and these new modern things like phones! and the music, gods she loved the music. Everywhere she went she had at one ear covered or with an ear bud in it music from all the popular groups and artists of the day. American's had such.. a different style of music compared to what she was accustomed to and she couldn't help but listen to it. So as she walked down the street in her half shirt and skinny jeans, very much the image of a light hearted eighteen year old foreigner to japan, she danced a little bobbing her head and moving her feet which were clad in these amazing boots with heels!
She giggled a little as she danced down the street, almost to herself not really paying any attention to those around her. She had an audition today. An audition to be a backup dancer for one of Japan's premier female pop groups. No more snow cone stand for her! She listened to the music dancing a little more until out of no where the heel on her right boot snapped off and she began toppling towards the ground. Her eye's looked around desperately for help, a look of embarassed panic on her face.
Everything ached. His legs, his arms, his chest. Even his teeth somehow caused him pain! But it was a good pain. A pain he could be proud of. He was steadily improving under That Man's hellish training. Already he had gained expertise in his clan's stepping technique. As well as some practice with the defensive technique known as Blut.
So impressive was his progress, that Liam's caretaker decided to give him a brief respite from his training. A few hours of a break for him to rest and stretch his legs in the city above. But he was under explicit instructions not to fight unless absolutely necessary. Of course that kind of order was one Liam could get behind. He had little issue with using the small bit of free time he had for his own enjoyment.
His stomach then let out a loud rumble, reminding Liam that he had not eaten for quite some time now. It was high time he grab himself some delicious sustenance that was not swiftly followed by extreme pain and training. If there was one thing he enjoyed about living in Japan aside from the abundance of anime compared to Ireland was the food. There was simply such a large selection of great food here.
"Gyoza it is then." He said to himself, ready to set off in his epic quest for mighty food until a certain sight caught his eye. Blond hair was rather uncommon in Japan after all. It would be hard not to notice someone with that hair even in a crowd.
The fact that the owner of said hair happened to be rather striking helped catch his eye. But it seemed that the poor woman was accosted by the bane that many members of the fairer sex suffer from. The dreaded high heels!
Being the occasionally charitable soul he is, Liam sprang into action. Moving towards the woman as she began to stumble, he would reach out with a hand in an attempt to steady her. But, unfortunatly for Liam. Due to his recent training, his arms currently had the strength and toughness of some rather wet noodles. "Are you alright the-NYEH!" So instead of steadying the woman. He ended up being dragged down to the ground with her.

Fryst Dronning
Fryst let out a little cute squee as she fell, mostly out of shock than anything. Sure she could have simply used sonido to escape the fall but then her cover would be blown to all the humans around and she wasn't about to cause mass panic of the disappearing girl. Then a man appeared in front of her reaching out to help her, however as she took his hand she found his grip solid but his ability to keep her upright less than satisfactory as she tried to push herself towards him to grab his shoulders to brace herself upright only to pull him down. Her instincts keeping her from releasing her grip on his hand she closed her eyes as she collided with the pavement flat on her back her head hitting it. Her vision blurred for a moment and she blinked.
"Agh.. owwie.."
She said with a pout on her lips as her vision returned to normal only to realize that the man who had tried to help her was now basically on top of her. Her eyes went wide and she looked around at all the people on the street looking at them, then realized yet further what it appeared as. A bright blush came over her cheeks as she narrowed her eyes at him and curled her arms over her chest as if protecting herself well from nothing.
"Ahhh ummm.. Mr.. I'm sorry but can you umm..."
Her voice was small and high pitched, as if embarrassed and scared at the same time. Her bright crystal blue eyes looking up at him pleadingly, then looked down to their precarious position. Her half shirt had fallen almost to the middle of her baby blue lace bra as she hastily pulled it down.
This was hardly the ideal situation Liam could have found himself in. I mean, sure he would have enjoyed the experience of being on top of a rather attractive girl at any other time. But the simple fact that they were currently lying on a dirty street and surrounded by a now growing crowd was a bit different from how Liam fantasized it. Hell, he didnt even know the girl's name and he was already seeing her half undressed.
Bad form Liam. You should at least buy a girl dinner before you start taking her clothes off. And if you wont learn her name, at least introduce yourself or something.
For a moment, he simply hung there above Fryst. Not quite sure what it was he should do in such a situation. The girl below him would see a look of horror slowly dawn on his face as if fully hit him where he was right now.
With a yelp, he scrambled off Fryst in a panic. A bright blush visible on his face. "OhgodImsosorry." He blunted out, rising to his feet and wasted no time extending a hand to help the girl to her feet. "Are you alright?" He asked, a note of concern entering his voice, brushing past his embarrassment. "You took a nasty fall there."

Fryst Dronning
Okay now she was worried, he just sort of hovered there on top of her for a moment, she was beginning to get worried until he scrambled off of her and helped her up, taking his hand she found herself pulled up, She was still un even thanks to her damned heel breaking so she frowned looking at it then she looked around and found her purse was on the ground at the mans feet and she smiled sheepishly at him, and cutely fidgeted for a moment.
"I'm okay but.. could grab my purse for me please?"
She motioned down for her purse and if the man went to get it she would quickly reach down and run her hand over her broken stilletto heel, and in place of the heel that broke off she quickly formed a hardened one of ice perfectly leveling off and allowing her to walk. This would all be done by the time he finished grabbing her purse. Which she would take with a kind smile but then look down and frown seeing that her pants were all dirty.
"Sorry about that, I seen you trying to help, but sometimes you never know when a girl is gonna trip in heels like these.."
She laughed nervously trying to play off that her heel didn't break, but that's when she noticed that the place she was going to was right across the street this really good restuarant, and not known to her yet.. the same one the young man was bound to. She smiled big and looked at the restuarant then back at the boy.
She giggled and started walking towards the restaurant at the crosswalk not far from them, her normal walk with heels actually being very confident, hips swinging ever so slightly in her tight skinny jeans, and her bare middrift.
"Oh yeah sure." Liam replied as the girl asked him to fetch her purse from where it had fallen. Bending over he scooped it up into his hands. Only to jerk upwards as he felt a short burst of Reitsu at close range. A Reitsu that felt like a Hollow's. But a the same time not.
It was different from Beatrice's own Reitsu, nowhere near as wild and erratic. Whipping his head around, Liam attempted to hone in on the source of the mysterious power. Only to find nothing.
Dismissing the momentary flash as nothing more than his own paranoia. Liam handed the purse back over to the woman. Returning her smile with one of his own. "Again, sorry about that. Sorta lost my balance there." Granted the only reason he lost his balance was because he was simply so weak from his intensive sparring what That Man. Had he been in top form, a girl as light looking as the one in front of him would be no issue for him to catch.
As the girl thanked him and walked away, Liam waved her off before his eyes caught a peculiar sight. The same broken heel that has caused the whole kerfuffle lying right there on the pavement in front of him. His eyes flicked to the girl, her heels and then to the broken attachment on the ground. "Interesting." He mused to himself, losing his usual calm smile in the face of something much more stoic and cold. Picking up the broken heel and hiding it away in his pocket, he strode his way to Fryst's side as the girl was coincidentally heading to the same restaurant he had his eyes on.
"Sorry, But couldn't help but notice you mentioned food there." He spoke up again from her side, his face now back to an easy smile as he attempted to converse with the pretty foreign girl. He jerked his head towards the restaurant. "I still feel bad about knocking you over in public. Mind if I buy you lunch as a way of apology?"
He caught up to her after a second and she smiled back at him and shrugged at his suggestion.
"Oh.. well it's not really a big deal but.. I'll never turn down free food.."
She gave him another kind smile as they would enter the restaurant together and she would hold up two fingers to indicate 2 so they could be shown to their seats. She took her ear bud out and put her phone and such in her purse. She picked up the menu and made her drink order of iced tea, and oddity in japan especially for this time of year. Fryst was never a girl for warm things however, somethings like food of course tasted better warm. So as she placed her food order and propped her face up on her hand looking at Liam with an innocent smirk.
"So I'm not gonna ask why a grown man like yourself couldn't catch a girl like me but, your catch was a little lack luster.. arm day or something?"
She stuck out her tongue playfully, giggled a little bit poking fun at the fact of why he couldn't just have caught her, as light as she was. That being said maybe she was being overly critical even when being playful. Humans these days were a weak species, and while she enjoyed being around them and their culture and whimsical things they created and did, she had always wondered how they had survived this long. Ever since all those years ago when she accidentally got into the middle of that norse war.. she had been thinking that while they may be violent there is great beauty and a certain serenity among them too.
Liam blushed deeply as Fryst began her light teasing of his apparently weak physique."Something like that. I hasn't been the best week for me. So I'm not in top form."
"Damn you Old Man." He cursed inwardly. If not for the hellish training he was forced to endure, he would have been in peak condition. Easily capable of catching Fryst and no doubt looking rather dashing in the process.
At least that would be how Liam would picture himself. Chances are Fryst would react differently to Liam's imagination portrayed. But lets just let the poor hormone-addled boy dream for now.
"The name's Liam by the way." He continued, figuring it was only polite for him to introduce himself to the girl he practically pinned to the floor only a few minutes ago. The sheer length of time it went from him seeing her underwear to finally giving her his name was nothing more than scandalous. Liam was no doubt a rogue of the highest order for such dastardly behavior.
"Mind if I get your name?" Spontaneous creation of heels aside. Liam was still rather intrigued by Fryst's presence. She looked to be only slightly older than himself. But her manner and ease of the language hardly suggested she was a tourist of some sort. Perhaps she was a student at a nearby university. Granted Liam was still new to the country and was largely unfamiliar with the area. So maybe he was wrong on that part as well.
Fryst nodded at his name, soon after he asked for hers which she kindly obliged.
"Fryst Dronning, but you can call me Fryst, Liam-san. Sorry to hear it has been a hard week for you though, but maybe now things will look up ya? She tilted her head looking around for a moment sighing, clearly he wasn't Japanese. Given his accent and other things the way he spoke the language maybe.. an exchange student at the local university? Who knew? But she was gonna find out, if it was one thing that always got the best of her it was her curiosity.
"So Liam-san, what brings you to Japan? Besides the yummy food and pinning young women to the sidewalk against their will?"
She gave a little innocent giggle, she always did enjoy teasing people in a light hearted manner, none of it was intended as mean spirited but the boy at least earned a little bit of it after basically staring at her chest and bra for a solid moment before she managed to catch it and cover herself up. One of her strong suits was not attire choice, in cold weather she wore the bare minimum that was still fashionable, in colder weather like snow she might put on a long sleeve to at least keep up appearances.. but as it was today in the low to mid sixties a half shirt and skinny jeans was good enough.
"Fryst huh? Never heard of a name like that before. Is it Scandinavian or something?" Considering the girl's height and blonde hair, it wouldn't be unreasonable to guess the girl's origins. Probably came from Denmark or the Netherlands.
When asked why he was here in Japan specifically, his face fell for a moment. "I'm here with my... He paused, as if searching for the correct word to use when describing That Man. There was no way he would ever admit out loud his blood relation to him. No matter how small the chances of That Man hearing him admit was. "..Caretaker, because of his work. So I'll be staying in Japan until I graduate." He finished, now staring into his drink, slowly stirring the darkly coloured cola with his straw. Talking about the Old Man always put him in something of a foul mood.
"But enough about me." He continued, placing a somewhat strained looking smile on his face as he pulled away from his morose stirring of his drink to face Fryst fully. "What brings you here? College? Work?" For a moment his eyes flickered into something slightly colder, and his smile became ever so slightly strained. "Or is it the food?"
Fryst tilted her head while listening to his explanation of his.."Guardian?" Mentor whatever.. she got it. She had parent issues too, well adopted parent anyways.. she had to stop herself from sighing even thinking about it. She had been through all that and knew all too well what it was like to not like or want to be around them. So she gave him a smile when he asked about her and she sorta did a little cute shrug and giggled.
"Well I guess you could say I started a new life here, it was like a magic portal opened for me and I was able to start over. Where I'm from.. it's sorta war torn and crazy.. it scared me too much to live there..."
She had an awkward pause for a moment, because while she could have been explaining somewhere like syria or yugoslavia.. she was actually describing hueco mundo.. and a shiver ran over her body thinking about it.
"But that's all in the past now, the past is in the past ya?"
She gave another smile before taking a sip of her drink before countering his question with another one of hers, they were almost playing twenty questions the way this was going.
He'd rest his face in his palm if it would not give the game away. Instead his face was a mask of understanding as he nodded along with Fryst. Seriously, the girl could have used a better phrase other than magic portal. That combined with both the hollow reitsu and the replacement heel pretty much told Liam all he wanted to know about this girl.
"Yeah. No need to think about the past that much." He replied, his forced smile returning to a much more natural one as his body relaxed. Whatever this woman is, she didn't feel like a threat. Hollow reitsu or not, Liam couldn't pick up a single ounce of hostile intent from her.
"I'm only sixteen. Still a student here." He answered back, taking another sip of his drink as he took a moment to study Fryst. On the surface it would look as if he was trying to gauge her own age in response to her own question. In actuality he was reaching out with his spiritual senses, his own reitsu leaking out only slightly. "I know its rude to ask a lady her age, so I wont ask something like that." He joked, leaning back in his chair, crossing his arms behind his head. "So instead I'll just ask what it is you do around here? College? Work?"
Sure this woman might be a threat to everyone in the restaurant they were in. But that didn't mean he couldn't have a small bit of banter with her.

Sharih smiled, man he was young, younger than she thought, too young to be training so hard. But then again now that she thought about it, in her infant stages as a hollow training and getting stronger was all she did, that was for survival. What did this boy have to survive? Highschool? She smiled thinking about it, he was cute sure but young. She giggled at his age comment, smart boy but she didn't mind if he did ask, she may tell him anyways. But he asked what she did and this brought a genuine smile to her face.
"Well I'm an aspiring dancer to be honest, you know those shows like Dancing with the Stars and stuff like that? I want to be one of the profesional dancers you know?"
She sighed happily thinking about it, then she looked up at the boy with his head cocked in his palm. Maybe she owed him a litttle kernal of truth.
"And I don't mind when people ask about my age, especially cute boys like yourself though it can be quite shocking when they find out the truth, so you ma want to hold off for now."
She giggles a little bit thinking about it, she actually didn't how exactly how old she was.. crap hmm twenty two? Twenty two sounds good .. ya. She had decided finally that this one was not spiritually gifted.. so she took the liberty of grabbing her drink and taking a sip as she did, leaking a little reiatsu out to cool it and sighed happily again.
"So you are weak from working out, young, have a parent figure you don't want to talk about and enjoy pinning women with balance trouble to the ground and the buying them lunch to ask them about their selves.. clever boy. If I didn't know better I would almost say you tricked me into a date.."
She did a little blush for a moment not thinking about her words before she spoke them and then sighed happily.
"Dancer huh? Cool." Liam commented. It was certainly not a choice of career he heard many people aspiring to. But it was a worthwhile goal all the same. But her comment on her age certainly had him raising an eyebrow. "Not going to comment on that age sentence." He joked, giving Fryst a light chuckle. "I know a trap when I see one."
He didnt comment on the second burst of Hollow Reitsu he felt. But it was the final piece of evidence he needed in order to confirm his suspicion. This woman was no doubt using Hollow Reitsu. And it was not the mix of Hollow and Human he had come to know. He could not feel a single shred of human power in that last burst.
But despite that, he did not panic. For some reason he could not describe. Liam felt that Fryst was telling him the truth when she told him of her goals and reason for being here.
For the first time in his life, Liam was able to meet a Hollow that seemed to like spending time among humanity.
It was when Fryst joked about Liam tricking her into a date did Liam decide to have a spot of fun. With a dramatic gasp, he leaned back in his chair. Both his hands over his heart as he had been shot. "Curses!" He spoke injecting as much false scorn as he could into his voice. "You have seen through my dastardly plan!" Even as he said this, he let out a faux villainous chuckle. "But you see it is too late! You have already fallen into my trap of a date. So now all that remains of my plan is to gain your number and ask you out once again!"
Fryst Giggled at this, this boy was far too cute. From his playful tone and knowning when to spot a womans traps of words to his comments about the date. She couldn't help but give him a genuine smile at this. The boy, for as young as he was made her smile and laugh and that was always a plus, he was physically attractive as well for the most part. So why not give him her number? Well aside from the fact that she had about nine hundred years on him? Well to be fair most of that was spent unconcious in a punishment dimension that he would never find out about.. soo win win? She decided to play along then picking up her phone she looked at him suspiciously.
"And I was a complete fool the whole time, I should have figured it out when a handsome man tackled me just to get a peek at my under garments.."
She stuck out her tongue playfully as their food finally arrived and she gave another giggle.
"So before we dig in what is this suave villians number? So I may consider letting him formally and correctly taking me out without any tricks next time?"
She would wait for him to give up the digits and as he did she would enter them into her phone to be a recipient of a text message that would read.
"This is my number, my full name it Fryst Dronning BTW "
Before turning to to her food and begins eating with a smile on her face.
"But of course." Liam triumphantly exclaimed. Stilling playing his part of a card carrying villain. "Beautiful women always fall into a villain's trap. Didn't you know that?" Letting off another faux cackle, Liam finally decided to drop his charade. His secondary objective had been achieved! A pretty older woman wanted to go on a date with him! If not for the strange Reiatsu, he'd consider this day to be an overwhelmingly good one.
Picking up a napkin, he scrawled his number and his full name on it before passing it to Fryst. Only to receive a text moments later. Excellent, now that he had all he needed, all that was left was to plan. Taking a small bite of his own food, Liam enjoy his meal with Fryst in a comfortable silence for a few moments before speaking up again.
"Is there anywhere in particular you want to go? Or do I get to plan everything?" He asked her, finishing off the last of his drink. He certainly hoped that Fryst would give him some hints. All he knew so far was that she enjoyed dancing a great deal. While he could probably come up with something related to that, there was only so much he could plan.

She listened to his question and smiled reaching up playfully pensive and taps her chin in thought.
"Hmmm well too young to get you into a club or anything, for some dancing so... how about a nice picnic? Evening time around the edge of town where we can watch the sun go down. That sounds fun ya?"]
Fryst was never one to hold her tongue or what she thought, if he was going to try and court her he damned well better be prepared to sate her need as a hopeless romantic. Hmm maybe she should cook the dinner? Nah she wanted to see if he could cook, that would be a "test" she would put him through after all. She was eventually going to have to tell him the truth.. and she knew it but there was sort of a period of.. feeling him out so to speak before she delved into that. Many many men in the past had tried what he is trying... and more than that had crashed and burned.
"I hope you can cook.. hehe"
She said before she began delving into her food cutely, thoughts racing across her mind at what she was doing. A stranger basically tackles her and she then agrees to go on a date with him? She might have lost her mind but then again she wanted to live as a human and this is how they lived, fleeting and spontaneous because as with many others this moment could be their last, who knows maybe this will turn out good for her? She sure as the gods hoped so, she needed a change of pace in her life.
A picnic huh? Well it was certainly quaint. Plus it saved them having to go to a club or something like that. While he would probably go if Fryst had asked, Liam would rather stay out of nightclubs if he could avoid it. The loud music was just irritating white noise to him. It was simply too cramped and hot for his liking. A picnic under the open air was much more preferable.
Plus it would give him a chance to cook for Fryst. So that was always a plus, if there was one thing Liam enjoyed, it was cooking. And he considered himself pretty good at it. Good enough to hopefully pass Fryst's little "test".
"A picnic sounds perfect." He nodded, agreeing with Fryst. Compared to anything else he could come up with, a picnic sounded great. "And don't worry. I know my way around the kitchen." For a moment he paused, before picking up the conversation again. "Do you have any preferences or alergies I should know of?" After all, if he was going to be cooking for her, he should at least know what she likes.
A part of his mind thought that he was going a bit too far. Hadnt he originally offered to buy her lunch out of suspicion? Yet it had somehow snowballed into a date. A more cautious man would quit while they were ahead. But Liam had no intention of doing that. He was the kind of guy who went with the flow.
Plus there was still the complete lack of any hostile intent from the woman in front of him. But even so, Liam had to be completely sure.

Fryst smiled at him tiling her head watching him. My my this had progressed quickly but again it;s not like she had anything to fear, realistically if he tried something perverted she could slap through three buildings.. or rip out his spine and make a cane out of it.. not that she would do the latter.. ewww too messy but still. She shook her head in response to his question however., allergies.. hehe how funny to think of.. she had never thought to make one up.. hmm she should have said shell fish since she doesn't like the whole crab and things...
"Eh not really, I just don't care for shell fish, well more of like.. whole boiled crabs and things.. it grosses me out."
She made a little disgusted face sticking out her tongue for a moment then got an idea.
"I can make desert if you want for it! I love making home made ice cream.. banana nut cream is my favorite for sure!"
Her face lit up thinking about it.. mmmm ice cream. One thing her considerable powers were good for.. snow cones.. and ice cream both of which she loved. She didn't know why she felt the need to spout her favorite either.. wow that's awkward. She let out a cute little sigh again, she was not good at the whole flirting thing anyways why was she playing into this? Eh maybe she had told herself she earned it. Either way she was done with her food and unsure of what to do next.
"Right striking shellfish off the list." Liam nodded, making a small motion with his hands as if he was indeed striking something off an invisible list. Letting out a small chuckle at Fryst's declaration of how much she liked banana ice cream. This girl was indeed rather cute. With a small bit of luck, every scrap of his paranoia would be dispelled. This woman would be no more a threat to innocent humans than he was.
"Well that's a shame. I was hoping to make cheesecake. But I guess if you dont want any~" Liam singsonged, hoping to tempt Fryst into saying yes and allowing him to make her a treat. Hell he'd probably make it anyway, if only to complete the little meal he would prepare.
Now that their current meal was finished, it would soon be time for Liam to perform one final test. "Well that was fun. I guess I'll call you in a day or two and we can plan a date." He chirped, placing down enough Yen notes to cover both of their meals. After all, Liam was many things and a gentleman was certainly one of them. So it was only natural he would pay for the meal.
Extending a hand, Liam would continue with his gentlemanly act and help Fryst off her seat and to the door. As they finally exited the restaurant, they would notice that the street was strangely deserted. Liam then made a small sound of realization. Before reaching into his pocket and handing a small plastic object to Fryst.
"Completely forgot to mention. You also dropped this." He again chirped, handing her the very broken heel that had caused their meeting in the first place. "You might want to get that reattached when you can. Its probably hard to walk around with a heel made of ice."
.....The little bastard was onto her the whole time. And he didn't say a thing!
"Welp. I best get going. Call you later Fryst." With that, Liam disappeared in a blur of Hirenkyaku into a nearby alley.
Only to collide face first into a wall and falling on his back. All because he was focusing too much on making a cool exit instead of looking where he was going.
It was probably karma for trying to trick such a nice girl like Fryst. Serves him right!
