It was another quiet night, the skies were clear besides the stars and the moon, nothing else could be seen above. Not a single cloud in sight. The lights above illuminated the dark streets of Naruki where a lone young man strolled down the street with hands stuffed into his pockets. His was blank, a canvass with nothing on it. Betraying nothing that he may be feeling or thinking as he looked on in front him. He had long black hair that was pulled back into a ponytail though he had a few bangs hanging in front of his face, making it hard to see his golden eyes.
He couldn't sleep and so had decided to take a walk, hoping that would help his restlessness, but so far he was just the same. He needed to do something, though he wasn't quite sure what. As he walked he eventually came up to an empty park which he figured would as good a place as any to just kick back and look up at the sky. The seventeen year old boy fell back onto the ground, resting his head on his heads he looked up to the night sky. It seemed like a painting almost, but yet so vivid.

It was then aswell, as the strange human looked up at the night sky, awed by this scene, a dead body came flying through the nocturnal sky, smacking down infront of the bench Jean was sat upon. Clad in a black kimono. And within the blink of an eye, a woman put her foot on the man's chest, a katana brandished. She didn't seem to notice the human. Or care for his presence. No, Lillith, or better yet, the vengeful spirit of Hakrth thought this human was not spiritually aware, thus he would not see the murder rigt before his eyes.
It was just dinner sitting there, a meal Hakrth would consume as he was done with this shinigami. The woman smirked slowly as she held up the katana belonging to the shinigami. And she broke it, with just one hand, discarding the broken pieces nonchalantly. "Die. You foul being." Her voice seemed to double up, two people speaking at one. Having a hollow and ferocious tone in it. She turned her fingers, followed by a swift jab to the man's neck and a squirt of blood later, she shinigami laid dead infront of her.
Her eyes turned from the voracious crimson to the soothing purple once more. A strong internal struggle made Lillith emerge victorious. Yet she felt it was getting harder and harder to defeat Hakrth. She sighed slowly, shaking her head and stepping back from the corpse. "He made a mess.." She muttered slowly, her silky voice soft and soothing.
When the body fell in front of him on the bench he hadn't quite registered what was going on. He had only just taken notice of the 'thud' the body made when it the bench before he realized that a woman was standing atop a man with a sword aimed at his chest. Jean stared on at the scene as it unfolded in front of him. He was sure he was the only in the area, so where did these two come from. Not only that, they were both dressed oddly. Had he fallen asleep, was this a dream? It couldn't be, he knew he was awake. What the hell was going on?
When the woman stabbed the man in the neck and removed her some of the blood landed on Jean's face. It was warm...that was when he was positive he wasn't dreaming. Slowly he stood to his feet. He was going to pretend that this woman didn't see him. She was right in front of him, so he'd stand and maybe try to get away at some point when he had the chance.
"Who the hell are you and what was that?"
Jean spoke up as he stared the woman down, oddly enough as she dropped the body, she seemed different than she was a second ago. And she was talking about how a "he" had made a mess. What was it with him meeting all these crazy women all of a sudden. Gold eyes watched her closely from behind his dark bangs.

Lillith turned around, leaving the corpse and the bystander for what it was. Before she stopped in his tracks, turning around to the human, her eyebrow arched. "You can see me?" She merely asked, taking one step in his direction before she dissipated from sight, standing infront of the human. Faster than his eyes could follow. She stepped into his personal space and further, aiming to have the human sitting down on the bench again. She got closer and closer. Lillith put a hand on the support of the bench, propping her knee up on the bench. Their noses merely inches away. The black and purple eyes staring down at Jean.
"Who are you?" She asked after a brief silence, her face devoid of emotion. Ignoring his earlier question about who she herself was. Her tone was soft and gentle, yet somewhere, it was also very cold. Lillith was currently surpressing her reiatsu to the extent that she was not sensable. "And how can you see me?" It was pretty clear, though, she was wondering wether the human was actually aware of what had just transpired. To herself and to the dead shinigami, this was one of the most natural things. Yet, he lost in what was an already ancient battle.
As he asked his questions, the woman seemed to just ignore him and began to walk away. Well then, he couldn't just let a murderer get away, but he could tell there was something about her that wasn't normal at all besides the obvious. As he made the movement to step forward she turned and spoke. She was asking if he could see her, if he wasn't wrong he'd say she was a bit surprised at the fact actually. She just kept getting weirder and weirder. She took a step to him and then she disappeared. Jean opened his eyes as he scanned the area for her only to have the lady pop up right in front of him. With her face literally shoved into his.
He reacted instinctively and stepped back with right leg quickly, though the back of his knee hit the bench behind him causing him to fall back on the seat. Before he could bring himself to his senses the woman was once more all in his face and had trapped him between herself and the frame of the bench. This time she was the one asking who he was, black and purple eyes staring into his golden optics.
"Last I checked you're supposed to answer the question you're asked before asking one yourself."
As the words left his mouth Jean seemed to fade and become transparent before completely disappearing. He reappeared about thirty meters behind her, arms folded across his chest.
"Now, are you ready to tell me who, or what you are?"
He could feel it for himself that he was outclassed here, but that wasn't the case. He'd been taught to stand for what he believed in and at the moment that was figuring out what the hell that brutal slaughtering had been about.

"That would depend." She merely answered, yet Lillith arched an eyebrow as the human dissappeared from her sight. And thus, she also dissappeared from sight, "perhaps," she merely said, folding her arms. The voice came from behind Jean, her head tilted downwards, eyes closed. Back to back. "Lillith Ijdelheid is who I am. What I am.. Is an arrancar. Taking into consideration that you know what an arrancar is, ofcourse." She said with a slow chuckle after another brief silence. A slow and gentle sigh resounded from her. "You're quick for someone from your level. What is yor name, child?" Her voice didn't waver from the same gentle and soothing tone. Yet the same cold still felt in her tone.
She opened her eyes again, looking at Jean from her peripheral vision. "And where did you learn such movement like that?" She was curious. It was a fast movement, sure, it was near teleportation, yet his execution was rather sloppy and caused him to slow down slightly. Unlike a flawless execution of her phasewalk. A move she had mastered a long time ago already. Yet the movement would be hard to keep up with by anyone else. It most certainly was very intruiging.
{Techniques used}Name: Fase Paseo (Phasewalk) Class: Stepping Type: Stepping Range: 50 meters Tier: III Description: Surging through a rift at great speeds, as time inside this rift is accelerated, this stepping technique is instant teleportation within 50 meters.
She had disappeared by the time the last of his words left his lips. This woman was fast, very fast. Impossibly fast. It wasn't humanly possible, or perhaps she was teleporting as he was. His heart skipped a tiny beat as he heard suddenly speak up from behind him. He hadn't even heard, much less sensed her approach. Just like when she first appeared with her first victim. How could she be so quick and silent? Though what surprised him the most was the fact that she had answered his question. He wasn't expecting that at all.
Lillith. That was her name...though he didn't quite catch the last name that part wasn't important right now. He turned to face her, feeling very uncomfortable with his back exposed. She had said she was an arrancar...what the hell was an arrancar?
"Arrancar, what are you talking about? What's an arrancar?"
Her voice was gentle, yet it carried a chill with it. That made him even more hesitant to do anything rash against the strange woman. The wind picked up slightly, blowing the bangs out of his face allowing a perfectly clear view of his gold eyes.
"My name is Jean Llewe Arpeggio. As for what I just did, I teleported, I've been able to do it for as long as I can remember . It seems you can do the same thing."
Usually he'd never just say these kinds of things so straightforward, but after what he'd seen this woman do he doubted that she'd think he was crazy. Though he was intrigued by what she meant someone of his level. Did that mean there were others like himself? Others like her? If so, where were they and how did they hide themselves so well? He'd never seen anyone else even remotely close to himself before. Though as far as he was concerned she took the cake on the weirdness scale.

"You do not know what an arrancar is. Such pity." She said. Was that a hint of amusement in the otherwise cold voice? She chuckled slowly. "I will explain, in time." Was what the woman said, not really interested in explaining the lore behind hollows and arrancar. Nor did she feel like explaining the entire circle of life and balance and what not. The soft wind that picked up slightly caused the woman's raven bangs to sway in the wind. She turned around aswell, looking down into Jean's eyes. "Jean.. Llewe Arpeggio." She said it like she was tasting the name, nodding slowly. "An odd name for these regions, no? But, then again, so is Lillith Ijdelheid.. Where were you born, Jean Llewe Arpeggio?"
She folded her arms as she looked into the child's eyes. The soft and soothing purple seeming to be of a slightly radiant nature. She folded her arms underneath her rather oversized bust, propping them up more. It wasn't like she had a choice. They were occasionally in the way when she wished to fold her arms. What would seem like flaunting towards Jean, was actually a mere hindrance to Lillith. A slow and annoyed sigh at her shapeliness followed.
She was taking pity on him. No, she was laughing at his lack of knowledge on the subject. While this annoyed him, it also caused him to want to know more about what was going on. The situation had become a lot less tense for Jean before he had realized it. This was more like the initial meeting of friends rather than trying to find out why someone was murdered in cold blood. When she made her comment on his name his eyes squinted slightly. At least she'd said the whole thing, and not immediately go for a nick name as most do.
"I was born here, my family is from overseas. And as such my odd name." He lowered his arms from his chest and glanced at her, though he didn't say anything else.
He next set of movements however had the boys gaze drawn towards her chest. Which in all honesty was quite sizeable. Quickly he averted his gaze going back to her eyes.
"How is it that you can move so fast, Lillith?"
He said her name lightly, almost as if he thought he'd anger her or something by being so formal from the get go. He didn't what to do in this situation. One thing was for sure, he definitely wouldn't be able to get away in one piece. That is if he even managed to get away at all. Though for now she seemed peaceful enough other than the evidence of her extra curricular activities dried onto her hand.

"Overseas? Just where overseas would that be?" She asked, curious as to where his parents came from. His name sounded.. Medditerenean, italian perhaps? She couldn't really label it. She shrugged slowly, yet, noticed his vision moving. It was pretty obvious as to what he was looking at or why he was looking at it. "Enjoying the view?" She asked with a smirk, her voice not wavering from the gentle, yet amused tone. It was natural. And she wouldn't make any witty remarks of her eyes being up here. It didn't really bother her too much. "How I can move so fast?" She smirked slowly, arms still folded underneath her chest.
"When you live in a world where everything is out to kill you, you have to remain swift. It's a nescessity to survive." She chuckled slowly. "And through that, I made it my speciality." She lowered her arms again, looking up at the nocturnal sky, turning slightly. She sighed slowly. "Do you have family here, Jean Llewe Arpeggio?" She asked, putting her hand on her hip as she kept looking at the sky. She had killed a shinigami, so, reinforcements were most likely inbound. Soon, there'd be other shinigami here. More powerful than this lackey. This child interested her. Such a technique for someone as weak as him. It intruiged her.
She seemed very interested with his origins and family. Well ones history often told a lot. Speaking of origins, where could a woman like her have come from. And the same with the man she had killed. By now he could tell they weren't from these parts. If anything they were more foreign than he was.
"If we're going to talk about origins. Where are you from?"
He ignored her jab at his gazing at her chest. It would take more than that to get a rise out of him. Though from the sounds of it, where ever it was that she lived was pretty violent. Especially if everything was out to kill you. Of course she could just be exaggerating. Or maybe there was more to it, his eyes glanced back at the body behind him. At another mention of his family he returned his gaze to her once more.
"Why do you ask?"
He wasn't sure why she was asking. To what ends would that information serve his woman. Himself sure, she'd already met him, seen him. But he had no reason to put his family on this deadly woman's radar.
"No, I have no family here."
The words came out naturally. No hesitation at all within them. Well he spent very little time with his family so it was easy for him to block out anything unnecessary that would give away the fact that he wasn't being completely truthful.

"Hm. I thought so." She stated, nodding slowly. "Interesting, nonetheless. I.. Can't recall much from my past life. My memory has been a void bar several months back. I crawled from a broken shrine that was meant to seal me away for eternity. That was in Hueco Mundo." She sighed slowly. "Why do I ask?" She smirked slowly. Shaking her head. "And that is good to hear." She said, as he stated that he had no family present. She turned around, snapping her fingers and tapping what seemed to be empty space in the sky. Soon, the trademark sound of a garganta being opened resounded. "You're coming with me."
A portal in the fabric of space and time was torn. "Come." She said, her voice kind and soft. Yet stern and commanding. Whether he liked it or not, he was going to come along. Even if she had to grab him by his hair and throw him through the garganta. Though, then again, just ditching him in there would cause him to fall into a void of space and time. That wasn't really either the best option. So, she sure hoped for his own sake that he tagged along. She set one foot in the portal. "His friends will be here soon. And that would mean bad news for me. Possibly for you aswell."

The young man was still somewhat skeptical of the woman before him not that he was too worried about her killing him anymore. He was more concerned with why she was so interested in him. Sure he could teleport, but from the sounds of it she knew plenty of people that could the things she could, so what made him special. Hmm, perhaps it was because he was human and not like her. That idea seemed plausible, but the man she killed earlier seemed one hundred percent human, so did that throw his theory out the window?
His train of thought broke as he heard mention the name of her home. Hueco Mundo. It was an odd name, he'd never heard of that place before. Perhaps it was a small village somewhere? Or an island that was far away. He had begun to think again not paying attention to her actions, until she snapped that is. He looked up to Lillith only hear a strange sound and watch the space right in front of him open. What the hell? Was he dreaming, no he knew by now that he wasn't but this was ridiculous. Not only did she open up some weird worm hole, she expected him to get in with her.
What the hell is that thing? How'd you do that?"
The questions left his mouth before he had time to filter them. The boy had a look of surprise on his face as he stared onto the sight in front of him. Something about it felt off, and somewhat overwhelming. At her second Come he glanced at her, now paying attention to her words. More of those weird guys would show up. And that meant trouble for her? And possibly for him? But he didn't do anything. Damn why was he getting dragged into this? Jean gritted his teeth and stepped forward following Lillith into the giant hole she created.
"From the sounds of it I don't really have a choice, do I?"

"This? It is called a garganta. A gateway between dimensions." She merely said. The rift in space and time seemed to be devoid of any substance. Pitch black, not a scent or any source of light. She stepped in, the particles of reishi immediatly forming a platform under her foot. "Stay close. You do not want to fall here." She said, looking back at Jean for a brief moment, keeping the platform up for him. "You have one. Remain who you are and remain weak, unknowing. Or use whatever power you hold now and develop it. And become stronger. Do you not seek power, Jean Llewe Arpeggio? Do you not want to know what happens around you?"
With that question, she turned around again, taking graceful steps over the pristine white and smooth platform made from her gathered reishi. She moved through the oblivion, keeping the white platform up for Jean. If he didn't step unto it, the garganta would close and the reishi dissipating once more. And Lillith would make her way to Hueco Mundo. Soon, she'd step into the white sands with a slow sigh, looking up at the eternal night sky. "This won't ever change, will it?" She murmured to herself, looking around, seeming to look for something. Dissappearing from sight, she reformed again next to a scythe that was resting ontop of a hill. "There we go," she said as she put the bladed weapon over her shoulder. "Come."

A garganta? A gateway between dimensions? What did he just walk into? And to add to his problems Lillith told him that he could fall into this infinite darkness and become lost forever if he slipped off the platform she had created. "You know, you usually tell people things like that before they step inside." What would she have done had he stepped in and not put his foot on the platform?
As the arrancar started to walk towards her destination Jean followed her. She wanted to know if he wished to become strong, or would he rather remain where he was and be weak for the rest of his days. Did that mean, he could possibly do the things that she can do? The idea intrigued him and he thought perhaps coming along with her wasn't such a bad idea after all. Before he realized it that had exited the garganta and Jean found himself standing in an expanse of white. Totally contrast to what he had just seen inside the garganta. They were in a very large white desert. Even the trees of what little he could see were brittle and white. Just where the hell had this woman taken him?
"So this is Hueco Mundo?" he asked, taking a guess at it as he looked around.
The young man turned only to see Lillith standing there with a large scythe like weapon on her shoulder now as she told him to follow her. He stared at the intimidating weapon and wondered what she could possibly be using that thing for. Then her words came back to him.
When you live in a world where everything is trying to kill you, you have to be swift.
Looks like just being fast wasn't the only criteria necessary to survive out here. He didn't argue nor make her wait as he trudged on behind her, following her to where ever it was she was leading the young man.

"Ah, well." She chuckled slowly, clicking her tongue. "My apologies." The travel through the garganta seemed to be rather casual, bar the falling into oblivion and die part, and relaxed. Lillith seemed to hum a tune as she walked, probably unknown to Jean as it was of ancient origin. After they left the garganta and she went to retrieve her weapon wich she had lost due to.. Stupid reasons, causing her to roll her eyes slightly. "Yes it is. Now. The instant you feel as if the sky itself wants to choke you out.. Do tell me." She said, glancing back at Jean. "Since that'll tell you there's someone close by. Don't trust anything but me. And don't stray further than a meter." She chuckled. "Else, I won't be able to garantuee your safety." There was someone as powerful as her around. That was how she had appeared in the human world in the first place. So, she was wary.
She didn't want to let Hakrth in control, so rather an away. Yet, with Jean around, she'd have to stand and fight. Maybe it'd be an eye opener for the boy. She glanced backwards. And her words were true after a short while. It felt like the very air was choked out of Jean.

Let her know if he felt like he was being choked out by the air? Ok then, maybe this wasn't a good idea after all, but it was too late. He was already here, may as well grit his teeth and do whatever it is that needs to be done. Which so far was to stay as close as possible to Lillith.
"What do you mean? What does that mean, if I feel like I'm being choked out by the air."
What she said was confusing and made no sense to the human who'd just discovered this other world that had been under his nose this entire time. He was starting to doubt his own sanity, perhaps he really was dreaming or maybe he was going crazy. But for him to believe that, he would have to deny the abilities that he himself had. Jean himself was the proof that forced to believe everything that Lillith had told him so far, the reason why he didn't think the things she did were incredibly preposterous.
"Or better yet, who was that guy you killed earlier?" He was with her for better or worse, so he may as well ask and find out what was going on. Perhaps he'd learn more about this crazy world and not be totally clueless. As they walked on he waited for her to respond, he felt a strange weight on his body and then suddenly his knees buckled. He began to gasp for breath and became drenched in sweat.
This is what she meant. What the hell is going on with me? The thought ran through his mind as he fought for air. He needed to get away from this area, but he wasn't sure moving was the best idea. He was probably safest with Lillith right now. He glanced at her to find her looking at him, his vision was beginning to get blurry and he was down on one knee now.
"Lillith...what's...going...on?" he asked in between gasps.
She didn't answer the questions to come. She had already felt the pressure from miles away. The predator that sought them out. He reeked of death. A disgusting scent stung at her nostrils. Lillith lowered the scythe, holding it infront of Jean protectively. Her eyes narrowed, scanning their surroundings. It came out of nowhere. The sound of a punch, flesh tearing and Lillith was sent flying. Turning in the air as a lifeless ragdoll. A trail of blood following her movements, staining the pristine white sands. Before Jean stood an enourmous and ravenous creature. Blazing eyes looking down at him. Inspecting the human.
Lillith wobbled on her feet as she got up. Her chin torn and jaw hanging by just a slab of flesh. Her eyes glazed over, crimson eyes showing. She grabbed her chin and pushed it back in place, high speed regeneration attaching it once more. "You.. Will not touch him." Her voice turned deeper, darker. And more hollow. Two people starting to speak at once. "Asesinato.. Odio.." Her voice was filled with anger. Spite. The scythe slowly disintegrating, two blades forming around her arms. A slow and sinister laugh left the woman. In her eyes, prey had already been selected and clearly visible by a purple outline. She dissappeared from sight immediatly, reappring behind the vasto lorde. A blade jammed through his head. She let out another manical laughter as she flung the vasto lorde away from Jean, immediatly leaping behind it and landing ontop of it. Starting to stab, slash and completely rend her targed. Blood splattering everywhere under manical laughter. "Die. Die. Die! Die!" The woman only seemed to speed up, her blades carrying more and more stength behind them.
Soon, there was nothing left but a puddle of blood and gore underneath Lillith as she stood up straight again, covered in blood. She turned to Jean. Appearing next to him, grabbing his hair. She reappeared next to the remains of their foe. "Feed." Her command was simple as she pushed his face down into it.

His question being ignored by his current "guardian" the young man was left panting in the sand as he tried to keep his eyes open and stand straight under this strange force that threatened to turn him into a pancake. He watched as Lillith stood in front of him gripping onto her large scythe as she scanned the area. From the looks of things, he made the right call not just teleporting away. Though out of everything that had happened to him so far, the real surprise came when he saw Lillith suddenly get launched across the white sand with unbelievable force.
"What...was that?" He said more to himself than anyone else as he stared at the spot where Lillith was just standing with his eyes wide open. It took him a moment to register the new addition to the posse standing before him where Lillith once was. Deep red eyes stared back into his golden optics. It was now that he really felt like he couldn't breathe. So this was the source of his discomfort, how annoying and he wasn't strong enough to do anything about it.
In the few seconds the young lad had already seen his death, that is until he heard Liilth's voice once more though something was different about it. He glanced at her to see her reattaching her...jaw?! How was this possible, the wound had started to heal immediately looking as if she hadn't even been touched in the first place. Before he even had time to register that properly the arrancar went ballistic and started attacking the strange creature that appeared with intense ferocity. She was moving so fast the human couldn't even keep up with what was happening. The next thing he knew his face was being thrusted into something warm and liquid on the ground while being told to feed.
It was the strange voice that sounded like Lilliths, then that means his face was being pushed into... He tried to push himself away from the remains as he realized what was going on but he couldn't budge. Just how strong was this lady, Jean was strong for his age, but her strength was just ridiculous.
"You don't actually expect me to eat this do you?" He asked as he managed to turn his head to side finally getting his nose out of that mess.

"Oh.. The beauty of it human.. I do expect you to." A slow, amused and threatening chuckle resounded from right besides him. "And even more.. You are going to." A soft nibble on his ear. Her sharp talons were felt but she didn't bite down just yet. "Lillith may be.. Kinder.. In handling you.." She chuckled slowly. "But to me.. Well.. Let's just say I don't wish to have you around.." The woman purred slowly in Jean's ear. Pressing him further down in the gore. "You're something she likes.. And I don't like her.. But.. On to the matter at hand. Feed." She said as she stood up slowly, the blades around her arms slowly dissappearing, morphing into the scythe in her hand again as she released her iron grip on Jean's head.
"It tastes yummy.. But.. Do hurry. I also hunger." Lillith turned around, folding her arms as she looked over the eternal nocturne of Hueco Mundo. Huffing slowly. "Its corpse will attract scavengers.. Soon, there'll be dozens of bottomfeeders that wish to eat.. And that would be.. Annoying.." The woman cackled slowly as she circled the enourmous scythe behind her back, before resting it on her shoulder. "And then, it won't be me fighting.." She looked over her shoulder, with a mischievous smirk.
