SELF NOTE: COMPLETED CHANGES:
Removed (Mastered)
Changed 50x50x50m to 1250 cubic meters. Are we sure that's right?
Nigredo (Sol) edits.
Nigredo (Luna) edtis. Kept buff and debuff sections separate for ease of reading, but merged the rest.
Citrinitas (Sol)
Rather than bother staff to move the old thread, I'll just make this one again.
As before, I'll put the full techs in spoilers (with the new modifications) and keep the actual changed stuff outside them to make it easier to see what's changed.
Nigredo (Sol):
Changes: Made mistake with type, converting to Offensive only.
Eleanor now has the option of infusing vitriol directly into her aura, converting it into a poisonous aura, but also introducing the weakness of reiatsu flaring as with normal poisons.
Nigredo Luna
Changes: Can now provide debuffs to opponents, instead of just buffs to allies.
Changed Text: Nigredo's purifying nature revolves around removing the detritus of physicality, getting rid of imperfection to make way for the flawless. Enemies are imperfections. Now Mastered, Nigredo (Luna) can break down opponents in a more subtle way than Nigredo (Sol), weakening them to empower more useful individuals. In essence, it can now be applied to enemy targets, which applies a debuff dependent on Nigredo (Luna)'s tier before redirecting the stolen energies into another (producing an equivalent buff in the beneficiary).
Tier IV: x2 debuff
Tier V: x3 debuff
Tier VI: x4 debuff
Tier VII: x5 debuff
When buffs and debuffs clash, they negate one another on a one-to-one basis.
Changes:
In its completed form, Albedo (Sol) comes so naturally to Eleanor that she can perform its operation in reverse, taking an existing technique and "dissolving" it into a jumble of spiritual potential. Techniques affected by this are extruded into physical form, tiny crystals which bear the color and general feel of the user's reiatsu. After three post cycles they can (but do not need to be) reintegrated into the target's spiritual pattern, re-activating them. Eleanor needs either direct contact with the technique's effects or the person who knows it before using this ability on them and Albedo (Sol) must match or exceed the tier when so doing.
If the externalized technique is held by someone who is capable of learning it or an equivalent (ie. a hollow learning a hollow technique, a kidou for a vaizard, an arrancar learning a mimicry of a kidou as a hollow technique etc.), this counts as extremely condensed training. Hours of "practice" can be absorbed in minutes. This doesn't harm the externalized technique, nor is it absorbed by the "student". The only one who can reintegrate the pattern is the one who had it in the first place.
Externalized techniques may be kept external if the user wishes (obviously precluding their use until they are reabsorbed), but their total equipped techniques are still strictly limited by the usual tech cap. If reintegrating a technique would exceed this, the person's soul forcibly extrudes another one in order to maintain balance. This is not dangerous as such, but it hurts a great deal.
If the target wishes, without compulsion, Eleanor may perform a more permanent dissolution. Techniques and/or masteries can be broken down (again, ONLY by a completely willing subject, IC and OOC. They cannot be threatened or coerced or controlled or the like, genuine desire is required). This converts their value into plot points, but reducing a mastery's effect obviously comes with its own disadvantages. If a release mastery is weakened thus, its relevant techniques are weakened and plot points are only granted for the mastery itself, not it's associated techniques.
Albedo (Luna):
NOTE: This technique has been approved (the base tech, not this changes), but not added just yet. Still, it's one of her techs and should be updated to match the new mastery level.
Albedo (Luna)'s tendency to rip apart undesirable effects reaches peak efficiency in this form, become more proactive in defence of its user. Albedo (Luna) can be used defensively, lashing out at incoming abilities with reiryoku components and devouring its energy. This doesn't power Eleanor herself; the powers simply dissipate. Unsurprisingly, Albedo (Luna)'s tier limits its durability. It can only negate abilities of equal or lesser tier.
Citrinitas (Sol):
Changes: Her understanding of matter attuned to a now primal level, Eleanor's Citrinitas (Sol) no longer needs to be de-activated and re-activated to change it's aligned material. She still needs to use Nigredo (Sol) to obtain samples to transmute things into.
Citrinitas Luna:
Changes:
Non-combat changes to existing tissue lasts as long as the recipient wants it to.
When generating Hommonculi: Eleanor's hommonculi are already capable of receiving a spirit to inhabit. This now includes empowered spirits, such as herself. "Wearing" a hommonculi, a spirit can directly manipulate all aspects of it, but while doing so, they looses access to any of their abilities reliant on her body (such as Hierro). Utilizing release techniques breaks down the body via overloading, however. A hommonculi body can only sustain 5 posts worth of shikai-class release or 3 post of bankai level releases before breaking. When hommonculi are destroyed (through whatever means), the spirit is ejected as healthy as it was when it entered, but somewhat disoriented. Spirits include shinigami, hollow, arrancar, substitute shinigami in spirit form and, curiously, bount dolls (but NOT bount themselves). Hommonculi can also serve as bodies for mod soul pills.
Changes: Eleanor doesn't have to use Nigredo to dissolve matter for quintessence for her other release techs whlie Rubedo is active. She still needs to pay all reiryoku costs though.
I've also chopped out Panacea. I decided it didn't really need to be there anymore.

Nigredo (Sol):
Changes: Made mistake with type, converting to Offensive only.
Eleanor now has the option of infusing vitriol directly into her aura, converting it into a poisonous aura, but also introducing the weakness of reiatsu flaring as with normal poisons.
{Nigredo Sol Complete}Name: Nigredo (Sol)
Type: Offensive or Poison
Class: Resurrection
Tier: III-VII
Description: The first stage of the Magnum Opus (the process by which alchemists reputedly fashioned the Philosophers Stone, and the theme on which Eleanor's personal abilities are based) involves the breakdown of matter, stripping it of its physical nature to release the quintessential nature. When Eleanor activates this ability, enters a mode that can conjure a green-black fluid she is capable of manipulating telekineticaly. This substance, dubbed vitriol, is extremely acidic and makes for an excellent weapon, though its effectiveness is dependent at least in part by the nature of what it attempts to dissolve. Eleanor is immune to vitriol's damaging effects if it somehow comes into contact with her.
The exact strength of Vitriol is dependent on energy spent. Eleanor can dilute the substance by simply using less reiryoku (lowering its tier, cost and damage potential).
No matter the concentration, Eleanor conjures about two cubic feet worth of vitriol per second (one for each hand). Vitriol that hits physical objects and dissolves them is itself consumed in the process.
Vitriol is as damaging as Nigredo's rank would indicate, but only to supernaturally empowered individuals (even if the extent of their abilities only encompass the ability to see blurs where spirits exist). Living creatures without any control whatsoever lack the subconscious barrier that protects the rest. Most animals and powerless humans have seconds to live with even brief contact with vitriol, after which their form dissolves rather gruesomely (though mercifully very rapidly) into a foul black sludge that evaporates within seconds. Zanpacto, fullbrings, quincy weaponry, bounto dolls and similar spiritually dense constructs that form the base of an individual's powers (not extensions or effects, such as energy shields produced by a shikai) are as durable as normal. Spiritual constructs, such as certain bakudo-formed objects are not so invulnerable, but they are much tougher than ordinary matter. Vitriol can wear them down or destroy them as appropriate for a technique.
When something is dissolved with vitriol, it releases a silvery-white substance Eleanor refers to as quintessence or Prima Materia. What she doesn't know is that this material is more properly reishi particles that her other powers use in unusual ways. Eleanor cannot use spirit particles at all save for those released by vitirol, and then only to utilize those powers she possesses that require them.
Eleanor can breath quintessence in from a range, storing it like a secondary energy. It should be noted that Eleanor's three other powers require BOTH standard reiryoku and quintessence to function correctly unless otherwise noted; they are not interchangeable (she can't use quintessence in place of reiryoku or vice versa). The need is a weakness, not a strength.
Eleanor can control about 1250 cubic meters worth of the substance at any one time, though manifesting that much at once pushes her to the limits of her concentration and slows her down immensely.
The black sludge produced by dissolving living matter breaks down in seconds, pulled back into Eleanor and adding any souls that were killed into her, adding them to her gestalt nature.
Rather than taking the form of concentrated acid, she may infuse vitriol directly into her reiatsu as it pours out into the world. If this is done in a single burst, it forms a pulse that is much more effective at disposing of mundane matter, but is weaker when dealing with spiritually dense substances (ie. anyone with powers, kidou constructs etc. Stuff in spiritual realms that isn't directly generated and maintained by a spiritual being doesn't count, like normal roads and walls and whatnot). Enemies exposed to this energy find it momentarily uncomfortable, but it doesn't actualy damage them or their constructs. Otherwise, matter is infected with vitriol's energy. At any future time (provided she is within visual range), Eleanor may simply will it to activate its potential for destruction, ripping apart its physical form and releasing Quintessence as normal. This use is Tier III. If she infuses the vitriol into her aura more gradually, it switches Nigredo (Sol)'s Type from Offensive to Poison. Rather than an initial burst of damage, Eleanor may selective disassemble any matter within this field (up to 100 meters away from her). The power of the degeneration if always in line with Nigredo (Sol)'s tier on activation, and the effect is no different than being submerged in her vitriol. The tradeoff for becoming an area effect is that, as a poison, this aura can be resisted with reiatsu flaring of a matching tier (as well as defensive techniques, although they must completely cover the body to be of any good). The aura is selective; Eleanor will not dissolve any matter in the area she does not wish to. She can still form direct acid streams as normal.
Nigredo (Sol) benefits from Eleanor's Vasto Lorde bonus, allowing its use outside of resurrection (transferring this benefit from Nigredo (Luna).

Description: This form of vitriol is a purifying element, designed to refine. When doused with this modified vitriol, the subject (including Eleanor, although she is still immune to the destructive version) is physically refined (manifesting as a boost to either strength or speed) for three post cycles before their normal physicality re-asserts itself. The boost is x2 if the vitriol is at least a Tier IV and x3 if it is Tier V, x4 if it is Tier VI and x5 at Tier VII. Utilizing the x5 form has serious side-effects. Those who reach for such perfection of form cannot use other forms of augmentation during this time (ie. no opposite attribute augmentation). To achieve this result, vitriol rips apart the body and it's "weaknesses", which severely limits movement after the effects have faded. Even worse, multiple doses of x5 vitriol will have halved duration (which is to say, the first use lasts 3 posts, the second 1, and the third will simply not work at all). There's only so much vitriol can take to improve someone. Below Tier IV, it lacks the concentration to have this effect. While an individual can be exposed to as many x2 boosts safely as Eleanor is willing/able to pay for, x3 upgrades are more dangerous when used in rapid succession (ie. The same thread, barring time skips). The first instance is fine, the second produces uncomfortable burning sensations as the body is less able to resist the more acidic effects. The third does damage along the lines of a Tier III technique, although in all these cases the x3 boost still takes effect. Beyond that, the individual no longer receives the bonus and is instead harmed as if struck by the appropriate concentration of vitriol (ie. Tier IV damage for x2 and Tier V damage for x3). This only really applies to others, as Eleanor retains her immunity to vitriol's damage and may boost herself (even the x3) as often as she can pay for it. Besides direct activation, the vitriol may settle passively into those Eleanor chooses (herself included). In its passive form, this provides a x3 boost to speed and strength.

{Albedo Sol Complete}Name: Albedo (Sol)
Type: Supplemental
Class: Resurrection
Range: I-VII
Tier: See Description
Description: Associated with transition, refinement and the move from mere physicality to purified spirituality, Albedo is the alchemical procedure of taking the released quintessence from vitriol-dissolved matter and refining it into silver. While impressive enough from a layman's point of view (and horrifying to the average economist), alchemy as a whole ultimately considered it an important step on a much more important process. This ability reflects these two aspects: the idea of refining to greater spirituality and the transitory nature of this early stage.
Before being activated, Albedo occupies a metaphysical oddity in Eleanor's ability set. Within her is contained a sort of prototypical energy, unbound into a pattern that would allow for a conventional ability to form. Instead, this power can be made to assume another form when exposed to a more complete pattern. When in contact with or otherwise affected by a supernatural ability, Eleanor may use her own body as a catalyst and warp the energy Albedo creates into a replica. When the supernatural ability is a part of a person (such as a passive ability, or many supplementary ones), direct contact with the individual is instead required.
This has numerous restrictions. Firstly, as with Citrinitas and Rubedo, this replica consumes quintessence along with reiryoku (which, it should be noted, Eleanor must pay both to activate the copied ability and the sustained cost for Albedo itself). Secondly, she may not retain the ability indefinitely. She can keep the ability for three post cycles, after which Albedo returns to its proto form and requires a new instance of ability to replicate. Thirdly, since Eleanor must use her body as a catalyst, she must endure whatever it is she intends to copy (obviously a problem in any case, but particularly when dealing with the more potent abilities one would wish to mimic), or get close to someone who is likely trying to kill her. Fourth, Eleanor cannot replicate any ability she lacks the energy to maintain (which is to say, she has to have a rank sufficient to power the ability. If a power can only be used at HL-S, she must match or exceed that to use this ability. She substitutes her Hollow Technique mastery in place of non-release techniques copied and her ressurection mastery for releases).
If the ability in question requires a physical component that Eleanor lacks (such as a weapon that coats itself in flames, rather than generating free-flowing fire), Albedo creates an ethereal copy of that component (though it grants her no more proficiency with it than she already possesses).
Given that Eleanor is replicating powers, it should come as no surprise that the Tiers are mimicked (and, as such, she cannot copy techniques that would exceed her Ressurection mastery cap, which is currently Tier VII). Maintaining Albedo for a post cycle costs as much as a Tier II technique, whether she uses the mimicked ability or not. Eleanor can only maintain one mimicked ability at a time; reactivating Albedo will overwrite the previous copy.
Beyond simple mimicry, Eleanor may choose instead to "digest" copied abilities, imbuing the essence of their technique into herself. This fails against release abilities (she can copy such things as normal, but full integration produces too many conflicting patterns and fails rather spectacularly). Essentially, while maintaining the copied technique, it counts as training a Hollow Technique equivalent every time it's used. High level techniques are hard to piece together this way (requiring Mastered Hollow Techniques for Tier VI and Spec. Hollow Techniques for Tier VII).

Eleanor may also choose to reactivate Albedo before it shuts down, resetting the duration (but also incurring appropriate cooldowns).

Eleanor may also choose to reactivate Albedo before it shuts down, resetting the duration (but also incurring appropriate cooldowns).
{Albedo Luna Complete}Name: Albedo (Luna)
Class: Ressurection
Tier: II-VII
Type: Supplementary + Healing / Poison or Defensive
Range: Self/50m
Description: Eleanor's supernatural body is, among other things, a living Athanor: a metaphysical furnace that sears away imperfections and refines the rest. Impurities are dealt with swiftly and brutally.
When activated on herself, Eleanor "digests" effects on herself that she finds undesirable (this need not be an actual negative effect) that are powered by reiryoku or reishi (ie. techs). The effect must be matched by tier (so she couldn't break a tier V effect with a Tier IV, but tier V, VI or VII would do). The energy degrades into a charged reiryoku that rapidly solidifies into a silvery solid substance small enough to fit into the palm. If this item is later smashed, broken or otherwise unleashed against a valid target, it takes effect on them/it as if they were the original victim/beneficiary.
When activating Albedo (Luna) on others, Eleanor may either utilize a restrained or unrestrained version. The restrained version operates the same as above. The unrestrained variant lets its power out without discrimination, setting their reiryoku ablaze in destructive form. This serves as a damage-over-time effect (although it is more curse than actual poison; it bears no biological component at all). The damage per post cycle is as one would expect based on tier. Rather than using reiryoku bursting, restraining any non-passive use reiryoku weakens this effect. After a number of post cycles of this equal to the effect's tier divided by two (rounded up), it vanishes.

{Citrinitas Sol Complete}Name: Citrinitas (Sol)
Type: Offensive/Defensive Hybrid
Class: Resurrection
Range: Long
Tier: II-VII
Description: Citrinitas refers to the semi-final step of the Magnum Opus, in which silver becomes gold, the perfect material and the pinnacle of conventional matter. Gold is the eternal, enduring symbol in alchemy and Eleanor's powers can now affect matter in replication of this. The core of Eleanor's abilities, this power allows Eleanor to combine her reiryoku with quintessence, transmuting it into physical matter. The effect occurs at speeds based on Tier. Tier II invocation at bala speed, Tier III at half bala speed, and anything else at the speed of a cero. Upon activation of Citrinitas, Eleanor may create substances that she has dissolved in the past with vitriol or transmute existing matter into these forms. For the duration of Citrinitas, she may manipulate the shape of these substances (after which point it settles into its last shape unless and until Eleanor chooses to activate Citrinitas once again). Directly creating matter is, obviously, more complicated than transmuting existing substances; when creating substances directly from reiryoku and quintessence, Eleanor can only pick one material type for the duration of Citrinitas. Transmuting matter uses less reiryoku and quintessence than creating it directly (not enough to change tiers though).
Eleanor can perform the generation/transmutation freeform, manifesting the matter within the ability’s range, but she can also use a series of reiryoku tendrils to directly interface with nearby matter. These tendrils lock her in place (with a few feet of give) and mean that all the matter she generates emerges from the ground at the point the tendrils, but are more efficient than normal. This saves reiryoku and quintessence to a notable degree; not enough to constitute a full tier reduction in cost, but still noticeable.
Despite possessing extensive utility in and out of combat, Citrinitas bears a number of weaknesses. Firstly, she cannot form any element she has never absorbed using Nigredo's vitriol. Secondly, she can't form materials that are the exclusive result of someone's supernatural abilities without training provided from that individual (ie. If someone's powers make some special material, she can't make more of that without that person showing her how). Thirdly, while this ability must be powered with reiryoku like any supernatural ability, it must be fueled with quintessence on top of that. Finally, objects on a supernaturally empowered being's person are immune to being converted unless they are willing. Spiritual objects that form the core of a person's abilities (zanpacto, fullbrings, dolls, quincy equipment etc.) are immune no matter where they are.
Tier is determined by range (which, by extension, also modifies the speed of the transmutations. Short range, lower tier transmutation is much quicker). All non-living matter within 10 meters is Tier II, 20 meters is Tier III, 40 at Tier IV, 75 at Tier V and 100 at Tier VI. At Tier VII, range doesn't get any higher. As Citrinitas is a mode, individual transmutations are a part of a single invocation of it, not techniques in and of themselves.
Citrinitas' magic is purely in the creation and shaping process, not in the resulting materials. As such, by default, they are perfectly normal matter that possesses all their normal properties, strengths and weaknesses (similar to Soul Communication). Alternatively, Citrinitas may generate them as spiritual expressions of their physical forms, ie. reiryoku elements.
Citrinitas (Sol) benefits from Eleanor's Super Box bonus release technique advantage, allowing its use outside of resurrection (transferring this benefit from Citrinitas (Luna).

{Citrinitas Luna Complete}Name: Citrinitas (Luna)
Class: Ressurection
Tier: III-VII
Type: Supplementary + Healing
Range: 100m (Radius)
Description: Alchemy's goal of immortality demanded a deep and intimate knowledge of blood, flesh and bone. They weaved living tissue together in complex operations to fashion artificial life, which culminated in the creation of Homonculi. Eleanor's arts now encompass this skill.
Mirroring Citrinitas (Sol), this technique allows Eleanor to change the shape of biological matter, the exact details vary depending on whether she is creating the material from scratch or altering existing tissue. As with Citrinitas (Sol), this is a mode that persists for (10-tier) post cycles.
(Existing Matter): When working with existing biological matter, sapient targets must be willing. Eleanor can reshape and transform tissue, provided she has a sample of what she is transforming it into with Nigredo (Sol). When used to patch wounds and the like, this is treated by the usual release healing rules (which is to say, an equivalent Healing mastery level equal to one higher than her Ressurection, capped at Mastered healing). If she uses it to modify a body to be more dangerous or durable (claws, skin with heavy carbon overlays or the like), their potential is capped by this technique's tier (ie. bio-armored skin's durability is that of Citrinitas (Luna)'s tier, any weapon-like reshaping similarly, and any augmentation can only be as good as permitted by normal augmentation tier caps). Modifications don't last beyond a thread, although restored body parts obviously do. Changes that spit in the face of conventional biology are possible, thanks to the built in magic of the changes. Eleanor cannot accidentally hurt someone with this. Due to a quirk in the alchemic process, Eleanor can't directly augment the durability of living tissue. At best, she can add protective bio-matter on top, but that's more a set of unusual armor than anything else. Changes with no combat use last indefinitely, vanishing when no longer desirable.
(Homunculi): Alchemically generated lifeforms, Homunculi are powerful servants to those capable of fashioning them. They are utterly loyal to their creator, durable, strong, and frighteningly difficult to kill. Homouculi's maximum size must have a volume equal to a 50 m radius sphere, but Eleanor usually sticks to human-scale creations. Awareness among homunculi similarly varies. They can understand fairly complicated commands, but most are not truly self aware. To do that, Eleanor either needs to perform lengthy rituals to imbue it, or insert a soul of some kind (a mod soul pill would be able to use an empty homunculus body, or Eleanor could use her Animus Nova technique to provide one for the vessel). Regardless, a homunculus is as durable and strong as their tier would indicate. If they are tier IV or above, they reconstruct damage as with High Speed Regeneration. If they are tier V or above, they are capable of hyperkinetic movement as with a stepping technique. Homunculi of any tier can be made visible to humans, if Eleanor designs them that way. Finally, a homunculus may persist as long as their body is not destroyed, but their battle capability is much more limited. To be able to actually fight and use their supernatural properties, they must have been infused with Eleanor's reiryoku recently (ie. the technique has to be reused on them to power them up). Their energy lasts depending on their tier (10-tier post cycles, the normal cap).

I've also chopped out Panacea. I decided it didn't really need to be there anymore.
{Rubedo Eclipse Complete}Name: Rubedo
Type: Supplemental
Class: Resurrection
Range: Self
Tier: V-VII
Description: The final stage of the Magnum Opus, the formation of the Philosopher's Stone. Frequently misunderstood as merely a tool for limitless wealth, the miracle substance was actually a perfecting agent. Lead, lowest of materials become gold, the greatest. The body, mind and soul become refined to absolute purity, granting everlasting life. Eleanor proves at least some of this true with this ability. Once activated, crimson light pours from beneath her skin with rapidly increasing brilliance until, for a brief moment it seems to vanish. After this point, Eleanor's physical form is transcended in a brilliant (if harmless) explosion to reveal her transfigured self. A humanoid figure composed of bright red energy, she constantly floats gently several inches from the ground while giving off pulses of spiritual energy every few moments. The only aspects of her form that remain physical are a trio of ruby like crystal formations on her forehead and elbows (each the size of a small fist).
This state bears a number of advantages. The first is its intangibility. Largely transcending crude matter, Eleanor becomes a manifest presence as much as a conventional being. While Eleanor is capable of using her supernatural abilities in this state, she cannot otherwise make physical contact with matter and energy (and, more to the point, neither can she be effected by the same) save to speak. The crystals form the exception: they can be struck and damaged. Attacks that possess a physical component fail against her unless directed at the crystals. Spiritual energy attacks CAN harm her (again, with any damage coming from the physical component gone). The crystals only interact physically with spiritual materials with high concentrations of someone else's reiryoku (zanpacto, dolls, fullbrings, spiritually aware bodies etc.); they phase through standard matter as easily as her transparent body.
In essence:
Physical Attacks: Vulnerable at the crystals
Energy Attacks: Vulnerable all over
Second, Eleanor's mind transcends the crude limitations of conventional materials, extending the power of Citrinitas to generate the following new materials:
Orichalcum: Alchemically perfected gold, this luminescence material amplifies even the tiniest light that strikes it, glowing brightly in the presence and releasing a glorious display in full sunlight. More impressive is the sheer durability of the substance. Orichalcum is immune to conventional force; the collective force of humanity's arsenals wouldn't so much as dent it. Spiritual attacks are more efficacious, capable of damaging it (this includes attacks by spiritual metals, such as zanpacto). Nonetheless, Orichalcums resists attacks with a strength that exceeds conventional metals by orders of magnitude, equally enduring physical attacks backed by spiritual power and purely energy attacks. Repeated heavy blows will eventually bring orichalcum down however. Like the gold it resembles, it possesses extreme density. It is a poor conductor of both heat and electricity. Eleanor's vitriol fails utterly against it, regardless of concentration, a fact that a clever opponent might take advantage of. Orichalcum generation equates to the use of a Tier V through Tier VII, depending on Rubedo's tier. Its durability matches its Tier when dealing with spiritually powered individual. When struck, Orichalcum releases bursts of light and heat to scour any with the audacity to attack the king of metals (same tier as the Orichalcum). Eleanor can mentally restrict this effect, if she is within 100 meters of the metal when it is struck. Either way, she is immune to orichalcum bursts (although she can trigger them).
Quicksilver: A silvery metal that flows like mercury but can harden and re-liquify rapidly. Quicksilver is an intelligent metal: it is not self-aware, but it is capable of reacting to context around it based on “programing” instilled in it. The material can stretch, change shape and move independent of Eleanor's control. It lacks Orichalcum's sheer durability, but hardens briefly when struck (unless its program precludes this) to a respectable strength. When it is created, Quicksilver is attuned to the will of a single individual and responds to their mental orders to move and reshape itself. Quicksilver costs as much as Tier III technique to generate, which each use generating as much as 7x7x7 feet at once.
Modified Elements: Eleanor can make changes to the basic properties of a material without necessarily changing the rest, over-riding incompatible aspects with prima-materia. Properties include: reflectivity, transparency, electrical conduction, heat conduction, hardness, sharpness, density, plasticity, magnetism. Transmutations are permanent until changed further. "Spliced" properties must be ones that belong to a material Eleanor can make. In other words, she could make a piece of concrete with the elasticity of rubber and the conductivity of copper, but with its usual other properties.
Adamant: This electric blue crystal substance is to diamond what orichalcum is to gold. These pyramid shaped materials, somewhat larger than a fist, manifest six at a time, orbiting Eleanor gently (especially around her arms. Acting as a lens for her power, she can project reiryoku through them, which concentrates and fires it into a blue beam of energy about a foot in diameter. Adamant projects are a refining agent, but unlike vitriol, they function by imposing spiritual perfection on preexisting matter, rather than freeing the spiritual substance within base materials. Substances struck by this beam are not repaired, but improved. Weapons edges grow sharper and their balance improves, materials become more sturdy and easy to use. As with Quicksilver, the power is somewhat contextual. If a substance would be better served being durable and lightweight, so it is. If its purpose requires density, that would be refined. The amount of energy poured in determines the percentage of improvement. Supernatural ones like zanpacto don't "mix" as cleanly and fade after 5 post cycles as the dominant spiritual pattern reasserts its base nature.
Living beings struck by Adamant augmentation receive a sudden surge of energy, but this has no direct mechanical effect: it merely feels pleasant. It might result in a morale boost, at best.
Rubedo's strength is offset a weakness. If the crystals that form the final remnants of Eleanor's physicality are destroyed (they are as durable as Eleanor's former body) the ability not only shuts down, but collapses in upon itself. The sudden shift back to normality temporarily disrupts Eleanor's control, treating all spiritual ability masteries (Hollow Powers/Ressurection, Hollow Techniques, Reiatsu Control, Cero/Bala Control) as two levels lower than they really are (anything lower than Beginner being nonexistent, leaving her powerless in that aspect until she re-balances herself). Her power corrects itself over the course of four posts.
If it need be said, any transmutation Eleanor can perform in Citrinitas can be performed in Rubedo, whether or not Citrinitas is active.
OOC Note: Originally, this ability had a specific limit of 13 posts, but that no longer really counts in the current system, so max duration is set to 3 posts.
While tapped into Rubedo, Eleanor's body overflows with Quintessence in quantities greater than even she could spend. Her release techs no longer need the secondary power of Quintessence absorbed through Nigredo while Rubedo is activated. She must still power them with the normal amounts of reiryoku.
