KISUKE = URAHARA
In the massive underground training space he had created beneath his shop, Kisuke made the final adjustments to ensure that everything was in place for his experiment. Scores of data on the Dangai Spirit he had retrieved from his apprentice’s Raizer suit proved vital in understanding the latter and confirmed his initial findings about the existence of a hive mind.
The shopkeeper’s fingers danced away on his computer keyboard before pressing ‘Enter’ to start the experiment.
His eyes moved from the screen to the unconscious Dangai Spirit in front of him, its entire being restrained in Tessai’s powerful bakudo with the caster on immediate standby in the off chance it would awaken from its comatose state.
The creature had its head cut open to expose what Kisuke presumed to be its brain, with numerous pins and cables running from the natural processor into Kisuke’s own artificial one, the laptop now giving him unparalleled access into the “network”.
“So far so good, Tessai,” he announced as he made more typing gestures. Eventually, he managed to create an algorithm program which mimicked the Dangai Spirit’s brainwave patterns whenever it would “download” information from other spirits who were connected to the hive mind.
This one, however, didn’t exactly focus on other Dangai Spirits but instead connected to the consciousness of those whose data they had acquired and call them into the creature's own dreamscape. This was the first step in his plan to destroy whatever known combat capability the creatures had.
Things to remember in posting in this introduction thread:
- You are in a dream (for now), so your OC will wander into a dreamscape by the time he/she falls asleep, so don't forget to mention that just so nobody would mistake this for the actual thing.
- Post-skipping is allowed. Thus, for every person in this thread, you have TWO DAYS FROM THE LAST PERSON'S POST to write a reply, otherwise your turn will be skipped and you will have to wait for the next round. This rule applies to the first registrants as well. If either of you don't post within the two-day grace period, you'll be deemed as to have waived your spot and be treated as a new poster for the next post cycle.
For uniformity's sake, we will follow the Eastern Standard Timezone for the two-day rule.
- This thread will be no death/no maim. However, feel free to waste each other since anything goes inside a dream. Do whatever the fuck you want, ride cyborg dinosaurs with lasers if you wish, I don't care what. Just have fun with your posts.
- As far as this thread is concerned, the first poster in the post cycle will ALWAYS be Kisuke Urahara.
It should’ve been just another ordinary night’s sleep. That was what Orihime was expecting as she laid her head down upon her pillow and tugged the covers over herself. There were a variety of different things on her mind: Studies, what was for lunch tomorrow, everything that had transpired recently… It should have been difficult for the girl to even fall asleep, but she had changed considerably ever since the day she discovered her unique powers. A good chunk of that was the influence of all of her friends around her – Ichigo especially – but that wasn’t entirely why she matured and grew. Standing on her own two feet was a huge deal in shaping her and, although she didn’t know it as she closed her eyes, she was going to get even more experience in that particularly category through the night. As her dream begins, she immediately senses that something is… off.
She should have been dreaming about spending time with Ichigo, or being a robo-Orihime that went around shooting people with breast rockets. Instead she looks across a barren, white landscape, and is unable to shake this overwhelming sense of dread. Something was wrong here… very wrong. As if on cue Orihime moves a hand to her hairpins and summons up her Shun Shun Rikka spirits. Like Orihime, each one of them looks on edge and doesn’t say anything… at first. As soon as the woman goes to talk, however, she finds herself clocked over the head by the ever so helpful and polite Tsubaki. “Eyes forward, woman! This place is a mystery, but don’t let some unknown assailant get the drop on you!” There’s a comically upset look on Orihime’s face and comical tears as she rubs her head.
“Tsubaki, that hurt-!” A few seconds pass and her expression returns to a serious one as soon as he speaks up again. “…You feel it too, don’t you?” The spirit folds his arms and directs his attention forward, followed by a rough nod from the girl. “…Yeah. There’s someone here.” Suddenly the rest of the Shun Shun Rikka spirits appear and float around Orihime, ready to move at her command. Shun’o moves over as soon as he can and smiles despite the ominous presence putting everyone else on edge. “Don’t worry about it, Orihime-san. After all, this is just a dream right? So you can’t possibly be hurt—Gah?!” Shun’o’s cheerful tone gets cut off as soon as Tsubaki drives its legs into the side of the poor spirit’s cranium. “Give it a rest, you idiot!” Before Orihime can speak in response, Tsubaki’s fierce glare metaphorically drives daggers into her. “Don’t let your guard down. Dream or not, we don’t know what anything here might be capable of. Don’t be reckless.” With a stiff nod, Orihime starts slowly walking forward into the unknown whiteness. “Right…”
A pained groan resounded from the human. He opened his eyes, mouth felt dry. Raiden sat up, rubbing the front of his head. Dry mouth, numb stomach. Hell of a headache. He dreaded to think how much he had drank to have a hangover this bad. Yet, something didn't feel right. There was no comfy matress, no, he was sleeping on the cold hard floor. The substitute shinigami rested his face in his palms, followed by a deep breath and a loud cough. He stood up slowly, taking the white pillow he had been sleeping on. He realised the only thing that kept him from being fully naked were long pink boxers, with red shorts. And no clothes to be seen around him. Just him and the pillow.
He went to rub the back of his head, sighing slowly. Before he took in a deep breath, feeling a deformation on the side of his head. Something smooth. Raiden ran his fingers along the horns on the side of his head. The horns of a ram. He knew this from somewhere. Yet, he couldn't remember. Then again, these horns wouldn't really obstruct his movement or hurt him, so pondering where he got them was a waste of time.
So, he propped the pillow underneath his arm and started to navigate the barren wasteland. Yet, he saw another person. A woman with orange hair. Well, a place as good as any to start. "Yo." He raised his hand casually towards the redheaded woman. He had the distinct feeling he knew her from somewhere, but couldn't tell quite where or how. Wasn't this an accomplice of Kurosaki Ichigo? "Raiden Saitou." He stated his name as he approached.

KISUKE = URAHARA
Kisuke noted the spike in the creature’s brainwave patterns and allowed a ghost of a smile to form on his lips. While the result wasn’t exactly what he had intended for the experiment, that other brainwaves seemed to connect to the creature’s subconscious plain confirmed without a shadow of a doubt that it was indeed psychically capable.
Despite the joy he’d felt when his hypothesis had become a workable theory, he still harboured concern as to those minds he accidentally called into the Dangai Spirit’s dream world. By the way it seemed, none of the newcomers had the same unique brainwave pattern as the creature’s own, and yet somehow the quantitative data from his computer showed that they were nonetheless compatible.
The blonde was stumped at this unexpected turn of events, only for Kisuke’s curiosity to grow even more once aberrations entered into the spirit’s psychic link. He supposed that the event was probably caused by the influx of unexpected brainwaves which inadvertently hijacked similar brainwaves so long as they were remotely compatible with the subject.
Desiring to test the extent for which these aberrant brainwaves went, Kisuke clacked away at his keyboard to run a simple combat test inside the Spirit’s brain by stimulating its aggressive impulses. At once, a mental image of the Dangai Spirit appeared in the dreamscape and and didn't hesitate to attack the intruders with its claws.
AN ENEMY HAS APPEARED!

Lucid dreaming was not something Liam was used to. Perhaps he had experienced it before but simply did not remember such a situation. Granted he was pretty terrible when it came to remembering dreams so for all he knew, he had one every night but had simply forgotten about them all.
But somehow, this dream felt different. Through what memories he did possess of previous dreams, they had been much more colourful than this one. The drab and barren landscape sure as hell didn't feel like it came from his mind. There was a clear lack of scantily clad women. As well as the fact that a weaker version of the Old Fart wasn't here for him to shoot at. The fact that he was still wearing a light cotton t-shirt and baggy pajama pants instead of his normal clothing also helped clear some things up
He didn't know why, but the whole situation simply did not sit right with him. The area he had woken up in simply felt alien to him. But at the same time, he could hardly sit still. His hands reached up to his mouth, ready to call out to see if there was anything else out there in the wasteland. Unsure if his ability to sense the Reitsu of others would work in this situation.
However his attempts at calling out was soon interrupted by the sudden appearance of a new arrival. About to open his mouth in order to speak to the newcomer, Liam was stopped as his instincts suddenly screamed at him to dodge out of the way of the spirit's claws.
"Fuck!" He swore, nearly losing his head to the aggressor's claws as he rolled to the side, Gathering Reishi into his cross, an old-fashioned rifle quickly formed in his waiting hands. Deciding that this spirit was far from friendly, Liam wasted no time as his training kicked in.
Pouring power into the tip of his rifle, Liam let loose a devastating arrow of Reishi, aimed point-blank at the unknown spirit. He could interrogate the beast AFTER he had beaten it down a little.

This was... Unusual. Hadn't he just been nestled comfortably in his bed, thoughts drifting away to his studies and his weekend plans? Arthur's eyes should have opened to the morning sunlight filtering through his blinds, but instead he found himself in an oddly barren dreamscape, disoriented and confused. He could sense other reiatsu nearby -- or could he? He was certain he was aware of other human presences nearby, but something about the way]/i] he felt them was surreal. Whatever was going on, things didn't feel the way they should.
It was a short walk through the surreal space until he came upon what sounded like... A fight? He didn't know what the creature he was looking at was, as he'd never seen such a thing before. But a little ways off in the distance, he could make out the familiar sensation of a Quincy attack, directed at the unknown beast. Who was this Quincy? What was the adversary they were facing? He didn't have answers to either of these questions, but Arthur was still smart enough to know a good guy from a bad guy.
In a moment, his bow formed around his left hand and he broke into a run toward the Dangai Spirit, arm drawn back as he released a messy spray of multiple reishi arrows launched in a vertical pattern along the Spirit's body, careful to avoid striking Liam in the process.

“A Mod Soul of this caliber…!” Kisuke yelped almost in surprise, his smile hanging in joyous anticipation. He didn’t expect it at all, a brainwave that could forcefully exert its own existence inside such a powerful being like this captain-class Dangai Spirit. It could only mean that his power levels went beyond the conventional threshold most shinigami couldn’t even dream of attaining.
In light of this unexpected development, Kisuke immediately rushed to modify his program to make contact with the Mod Soul by amplifying the comatose creature’s cerebral activity to almost its lifelike state. Its real world body jerked violently from the strain of the new program while its brain was being fooled into thinking that it was conscious.
“Ansss.d.dasd.sawre.vew.ag.ygsa.vher.ya.yh.art.y.yuy.vasrt.uy.vatyutjhsaw!!” screamed the Spirit in an incoherent tongue while it continued its assault.
Although unintelligible, it wasn’t far to guess that the with creature mumbling in an almost screech-like tone, it was desperately trying to communicate. Despite that, its actions became even more aggressive and unleashed a massive wave of energy that seemed to rival a powerful entity.
With its new energy level in play, but unable to take its attention away from the opponent it had set its eyes on, the Spirit released, in passing, a gigantic burst of residual energy aimed at its two Quincy attackers. Although far from dangerous, by itself, it could instantly knock the others out for a substantial amount of time.
It was a necessary side effect of synchronizing brainwaves in order to facilitate inter-racial communication that would, as the mental image weakened in strength, would allow a more civilized data set to overpower the initial combative programming Kisuke had implemented as a test run.

"Alright. We're in bussiness!" He grinned as he saw a spirit appear, forgetting all about the familiar girl for now. This spirit was alike to what he had encountered before. His hand sunk into the pillow, pulling out an enourmous zanpakutou. "I knew you were here you motherfucker.." Raiden grinned as he threw the empty and shredded cloth aside, charging forward, blade brandished, a trail of his poisenous reiatsu seeping from the blade. The susbtitute shinigami adjusted his grip on the blade, pressed his feet down in the ground and slice the blade upwards, an enourmous slice of reiatsu surging forward from the blade. Aiming to impact at the back of the dangai spirit.
He dissappeared from sight, it was not a shunpo. A faint green light hovered in the air, right infront of the spirit. And just like that, the substitute shinigami appeared infront of the spirit, spinning on his feet and followed by a trial of reishi, he delivered a powerful heelkick that would send the spirit flying, right into the slice of reishi he had bursted forward. He took several swift steps back, lifting the blade and resting it on his shoulder. Those were quincy. People that rather saw him dead then alive. Then again.
They weren't all that powerful. And the enemy of my enemy is my friend. He looked back at the quincy pair. "We can fight later if you want that." He merely stated, calling out a permament truce untill this foe was defeated.
{Techniques} Name: Frost queen's claim Class: Offensive melee item Tier: V Range: Personal Description: As the arrancar, Fryst Dronning tore off Raiden's arm, she soon after felt regret, and re-gifted his arm through ice and reiryoku. This can only happen once per thread, when the arm is released and destroyed, it regenerates in five posts. When it is sealed and destroyed, it regenerates withing two posts. Cooldown/Drawback: The arm has shikai durability in its sealed state. This item persists through, is usable and can be activated during bankai.

Finding out that he was not alone, aided by another Quincy no less, was rather reassuring for Liam. Despite his initial surprise at meeting another one of his own race. The questions that were on Liam's lips died as he noticed their opponent becoming increasingly agitated.
"Talk later. Get ready. He barked out, already preparing to pull in the Reishi from the surrounding air in order to prepare another technique. It seemed that this spirit was not only sturdy, but powerful as well. In the long run, Liam doubted his own ability to handle such a beast. If he fought it on his own, he would probably fail miserably. He simply lacked the strength to take down a monster like this.
However, it seemed that those with the strength to fight were not so far away. He could only blink as the newcomer dealt with the creature in an almost casual manner. However once he actually focused and honed in on the newcomer's Reitsu did he notice something.
This man was a Shinigami.
Even though he had just been saved by this man, his blood boiled. The last time he had met a Shinigami, the bloodthirsty fool had tried to kill him over something as foolish as peer pressure. Maybe that idiot was an exception to the rule. But he was still wary around those of the Gotei 13.
Imagine his surprise when the Shinigami could almost seem pleasant as he greeted the pair. "You're the first Shinigami who hasnt tried to fight me simply because of my blood. Keep it that way and we will get along fine. Liam answered back, letting Raiden know exactly how he felt about the proposed truce.
Don't bother me and I wont bother you.
Shifting his bow back to its Revolver form, a barrage of arrows were fired from his gun, intent on making sure the mad spirit stayed down. His free hand lashing out as lightning sparked. Launching a powerful bolt towards the beast. Intent on finishing it off entirely.
"The name's Liam by the way." He spoke out casually, figuring that there was little harm in introducing himself to those present. "Does anyone here have a clue as to what is going on?" Post=200 Tier 3= 500 200+500=700
{Spoiler}Name: Holy Shock Class: Reishi Tier: I-III Type: Offensive Range: 20 Meters Description: By manipulating Reishi particles in the air, Liam is capable of mimicking the effects of lightning at varying strengths. From something resembling a taser shooting at Bala speeds to a more powerful bolt of lightning at twice the speed of a Cero.

It seemed Arthur was far from alone in fighting this... well, whatever it was... and it also seemed apparent that his power was outclassed by his sudden comrades. There was another Quincy pushing some serious power out in his ranged attacks, and a Shinigami who seemed to have no difficulty dealing deep wounds to the creature. Suddenly, Arthur's own contribution to the effort seemed lacking, to say the least.
"Now's not the time, Shinigami," he said, echoing Liam's sentiment to a degree, "I'm not saying I don't a fight... But there are a lot more urgent questions to be resolved before I think about picking another battle on top of this one. For now, we cooperate."
The residual energy from the beast packed a punch, but it wasn't going to be anything substantial enough to put Arthur out of the fight. As Liam charged up his own attack, Arthur brought his white bow up toward the Dangai Spirit, reishi compressing into a single pulsing arrow, focusing his power into a single concentrated strike. With a gesture of his hand, the bolt sailed forward, delivering an explosive strike to the Spirit in conjunction with the rest of the barrage assailing the beast. As the aftermath of his attack dissipated, he turned his attention toward his companions.
"Arthur Fujimiya, for whichever of you care to know my name. I realize I might be new around here... But what the hell is this thing we're fighting, anyway?"

Like a flash of lightning, the Dangai Spirit's image immediately distorted like a broken image on a television screen filled with static as soon as the Quincy-Shinigami tandem (in Extension Thread 1) managed to critically injure the entity. The attacks it launched disappeared but in its place the silver form began to change color into a more sinister black-skinned opponent, the Dangai Spirit now becoming a purple-eyed humanoid entity with clearly demonic features. In that instant as well, an invisible barrier shot out from the ground and separated the unknown enemy from the others who were into its vicinity.

Post by Ryohei Katsunaga on Oct 13, 2015 19:02:12 GMT
His eyes faltered as his head met his pillow. The only thing that he looked forward to today was now his. Ryohei smiled as he thought about his day, the amount of work and papers that he had to fill out. Though he did enjoy his daily rounds and training with his friends, but now that it was night, all he wanted to do was sleep. He didn't complain like most of the shinigami that were disgruntled about their work, in fact he enjoy it to an extent, but who didn't like to sleep. Thinking about his day, his eyes fell to their bottoms hard.
The next thing he knew, Ryohei found himself in a wasteland, seemingly by himself. Of course he had dreams before, but this time he felt different. Most of his dreams included his family, mostly his parents. He dreamed about the past, how he used to play with his parents every chance he got, when his father used to train his sister and himself in combat. The very thought made him smile. But this time it felt real, like he could control every aspect of what he was doing, though Ryohei thought it was pretty cool. The way everything felt was so natural, like he was actually in the real world. But now a question rose out of him. Why was he here? Ryohei looked around and tried to make sense of what was happening. Was there some type of reason why this was happening? Was this a ploy of some sorts? While these questions were roaming through his head, he heard yelling and explosions coming from afar, almost like a battle that was taking place. The amount of spiritual pressure that was coming from the area looked like there were multiple people involved. While running towards the situation, Ryohei hoped that he could finds some answers as to what was going on.
As he arrived, he witnessed the battle that was taking place. Four people facing off with what looked like some kind of demon or spirit. Whatever it was, it was fearsome and he was ready to help however he could. He found his way towards the other attackers and faced the demon. "Well, we are in a bit of trouble aren't we?" Ryohei smiled as his new friends. As much as he wanted to know what was going on, it seemed that it was going to have to wait until the beast was vanished. One could say that Ryohei never liked to fight; but he liked to protect those close to him. He held the hilt of his zanpakuto and pulled it out and faced his opponent. Ryohei smiled, hoping that whatever he was doing was the right thing. He wasn't scared for two reasons. One, he was sure that this was a dream, so there couldn't be any real consequences towards him in the real life, at least that's what he thought. And two, he was trained to keep his nerves calm under pressure, although it was certainly hard to in the presence of such a terror. And he was certainty not going to let his new friends see his fear.
As he stood his ground, he noticed the barrier that was planted around the monster and looked at it closely. Was it something that could be broken through with just attacks, or was it something much more powerful? Ryohei glared the monster, as he did with all of his opponents. He liked to ask many and various kinds of questions that could seemingly help him in his fight. It often proved helpful, but it did leave him look like he was lost towards the people he was fighting with. It was also another when fighting , he didn't know who these people were. He didn't know of their abilities or how skillful they were. Could he go and attack the beast with everything he had, or did he have to spend the fight protecting the people who couldn't? He didn't mean it as they weren't capable of protecting themselves, as protect someone was always first nature to him. Hopefully they would understand that.
After he examined the barrier, Ryohei smiled and thought to himself. "The best way to reveal a great defense is to attack with a great offense." Ryohei wasn't too eager with his movements, but after awhile, he jumped towards the monster and took out his zanpakuto. "Forgive the good, and strike the evil, Raikoutenmei" His zanpakuto changed formed, into a double edged nagamaki, as an electric aura formed around him. Ryohei knew that he wasn't strong enough to take out something like this without his shikai, so he was going to have to use his full strength from the start. He started imagining what it would be like to learn bankai, to have such incredible power that it would be no problem to take this thing out. But that was his arrogant side talking, it was the kind of behavior that he didn't really like from himself. He learned from the past that people who want power and get, usually want more and seeing that close and personal, it wasn't going to let that happen to him.
Holding his zanpakuto in front of him, he spun it around very quickly and yelled his attack out loud. "Amatsu Rakurai" Stands of lightning were produced from his blade and flew towards the enemy with pinpoint precision, locating his joints. It wasn't a very powerful attack, but he needed to see what it could do and hopefully provoke enough so that it would do something. Though something crossed his mind as he did this. Looking at his friends, he should have created some kind of plan with them. If they were going to win, they were going to need to work together in order for this to work, If not, then he wasn't sure if they were going to get through this, whether it was a dream or not. "Now come on." Ryohei smiled at the beast.

"You think I give a fuck 'bout the blood through your veins?" Raiden said as he reappeared next to the quincy pair due to the help of a shunpo, swinging his blade and heaving it to rest on his shoulder again after a short shunpo. "Yer' breathin'. Yer fightin'. That's all that matters 'ere 'n now." He sighed slowly. "Raiden Saitou. Human representative," he said as he tilted the blade over his back, the belt fastening around his waist. He looked down on his right arm. Without a sound, he seemed to pull the skin of his arm up, revealing a blue radiance. "Seems like I still got this." He murmured to himself, ripping off the cosmetic skin to reveal the arm of pure ice. A pity his armor wasn't present.
Also a pity the only thing he was wearing was the underwear. He looked at the quincy, shaking his head. "I got no fucking clue what they are. All I know is that they're normally stronger than the fucker we just been killin'. Fought one before. Was pretty tough." Yet, his gut told him that this fight wasn't even over yet. Something else was approaching. He turned to what seemed like a distorted and ruined image, immediatly pulling the blade from his back again, with a slow hiss, the acid dripped from the enourmous zanpakutou on the floor. "What the fuck." Was once again pretty accurate statement here. "Alright boys!" He said as he held the blade in both hands, readying himself for combat, the demonic and terrifying appearance stepping forward. "Seems like we ain't out the weather jus' yet."
This creature, spirit, whatever it was, seemed more intelligent than the rest of his brethren. His glance passed to the newcomer. "Hm. We can use the manpower. Try to keep up." Raiden smirked before he dissappeared from sight, only the enourmous zanpakutou remaining anchored in the barren wasteland. With a quick shunpo and followed by a trail of condensced Reishi, Raiden spun in the air with a devastating heelkick, that would send the spirit flying. He immediatly reappeared at his sword again, grabbing the hilt and dissappearing once more, appearing behind the current trajectory of the spirit.
Thick and green veins sprouted from the ground, pinning the demon down to the floor and burning his skin with a loud hiss. The substitute turned the blade in his hand, slashing it down and aiming to decapitate the creature.

Name: Ju-jitsu. Class: Hand to hand Type: Martial Arts Style. Range: Self. Tier: I Description: Ju-jitsu is a purely defensive martial art form that revolves around the control of the target in question in a manner of ways. From locking to throwing, Ju-jitsu covers the entirety of locking down an opponent with ones body. Of course, Ju-jitsu isn't completely forced to learn only locks, they are taught simple frontal abilities (a jab, kick, a few other basic martial-art techniques) but they are not often utilized, instead often used outside of tournaments.
Ju-jitsu, like Taekwondo, is an incredibly sport-filled martial art. Finding a dojo for Ju-jitsu is incredibly easy, ontop of the factor that it's common for tournaments of any kind, but it isn't as popular as Taekwondo. Even so, it's still popular in it's own right, and is shown on live broadcasts often.
Training Ju-jitsu more often then not requires a partner or something that is in humanoid form, as the grapples and locks are easily ignored if someone has not learned how to correctly hold someone. The style -- or stance -- for Ju-jitsu is incredibly heavy, working in a similar way to Sumo but on a sense that you have to deflect them, rather then push power back at them.

A translucent haze bearing the eerie resemblance to a human figure crept up behind its intended target, form and figure hidden under the veil of secrecy afforded by its mastery of the arcane arts. Behind this mirage was a young man with raven hair with crimson eyes in a knife-edged gaze, a predator’s countenance expressed with such clarity on his face that anyone would not be able to dismiss his mien as that of a hungry beast who had just found a prey of its liking.
The master assassin allowed himself a smile while he stood beyond his target’s sight. She was a beautiful young woman with ebony hair that reached to the arch of her lithe and slender frame, her every move more like a sensual dance of a skilled courtesan than the natural routine of a woman in the kitchen. The air inside the kitchen was permeated with the odor of steamed vegetables and pan-fried noodles, but the Knight of Swords could only smell the pleasant lavender scent of his wife.
In one fierce heartbeat, his hands gently placed on the young woman’s shoulders. She stopped in her tracks and suppressed a scream although the dimples on the pale skin of her neck displayed the purity of her emotion, much to the amusement of the perpetrator.
“I am home,” he whispered into her ear, the feeling of his breath alone on her ear enough to make Selena blush.
“Welcome home, dear…,” she replied laboriously, her breaths in short bursts from her rising libido. She knew already what to expect since this was not the first time her husband had done this, but Selena just could not help but feel excited every time.
The Knight of Swords sensed her breaths and reacted to it like Casanova himself, doing so by having gently turned his wife around so he can see her up close. Face to face now, the contrast of their red and yellow eyes was even stark, and yet the young man just allowed himself to drown in the rich colors of Selena’s crystalline pools and be consumed by them. They were beautiful, refined – perfect in every way, just as his wife was; he wanted a taste of the meal—
—and that he did. After the scrumptious ‘meal’ he had partaken earlier on, the Knight of Swords drifted off to sleep in his wife’s arms. Instead of dreaming of the wonderful times he had ever since he started a family for himself, the master assassin was instead transported into a barren and empty land of pure white amidst a few vestiges of sentience in the form of others who range from Shinigami and Quincy, as per their energy signatures. There was also one other mixed in with the lot: an unfamiliar entity which emanated a foreboding aura, with features similar to that of a human and yet at the same time not, rising up after it had been bombarded by an attack of an unknown nature, but presumably done by any one of the people who were also present.
Quick to catch the situation at hand, the master assassin surmised that the other beings in this world were supposedly fighting this entity of unknown origin. He smiled to himself, amused that his dream turned out to be something like this, and seemingly oblivious to the fact that this was a serious matter, the young man simply accepted the fact that he was in a dream of his own making and that everything that was happening right now was the result of his brain bringing up repressed memories of past battles and encounters. Nevertheless, he would have preferred the setting to be in a tropical beach, with his wife in a string bikini and his adorable son, Grey, doing a Karate Kid montage along the sandy shores.
In one of the rare instances in his life, the Knight of Swords did away with his formality and slid back into a more casual manner, demeanor and all. With a playful grin he walked up to face the creature, with his stance – especially considering he only wore a black T-shirt and gray-colored jogging pants – without the slightest semblance of fear or caution at whatever danger it posed, unwavering resolution backed up by the confidence of a warrior who had faced so many human and inhuman opponents that he no longer thought anything of it.
“My, what a strange dream I am having right now,” he spoke. The demon, for its part, simply cast its shining purple eyes down on him with the look of a deadly rattlesnake ready to strike which served no other purpose for it other than amuse the master assassin. He wondered how his own brain managed to craft such a magnificently tarrying construct from his own memories alone, as with everyone present in what he presumed was his own dream; especially since he never remembered seeing such a strange being.
As if having caught on to the presumed arrogance of the person in front of it, the monster raised its armored fist at sent it flying towards the master assassin’s face, but the latter simply stepped to one side and skipped forward to brush his shoulder against his aggressor’s body only to catch his stride shortly after.
At the moment the Knight of Sword’s shoulder brushed against his attacker, he rapidly struck its abdomen with a knife-hand thrust which bypassed the creature's armored torso and buried his left hand deep into the creature’s gut, and then subsequently channeled a powerful electrical discharge directly into the demon’s body. In that instant, in a crude masterstroke, he sealed the triple attack with three instant applications of flame-type aeromancy to burn his attacker’s innards from the inside out – all before pulling out his hand and wipe the blood off with his victim’s armor and continue with his façade.
Feigning apology, the Knight of Swords looked back with smile and bobbed his head once to make amends for his slight with the knowledge that, even if he did, there was no way that it could possibly appreciate such a gesture, for at that moment, the thing’s body was bombarded with a string of ten razor sharp gusts of wind and five lances of solid air constructs that would easily rip and skewer their target to shreds when hit.
“Pardon me, I seemed to have slipped,” he spoke in a calm and friendly demeanor.
Asura Kyokugen Ryuu: Mugetsu Ansatsu Ken (阿修羅極限流•無月暗殺拳, Asura Ultimate Style: Moonless Sky Assassination Fist) Type: Style (Specialized Hand-to-Hand) A fearsomely efficient martial art trained in by Knight as part of his examination during his Lord Commander Promotion Test. Largely forgotten by history as was intended by its sole practitioners until now, it is a style of hand-to-hand combat that was named after the Asuras, a race of powerful beings considered mighty enough to challenge even the ruling gods of heaven themselves on equal ground. Even then, the Assassination Fist is undoubtedly considered to be the pinnacle of this style since it focuses exclusively on terminating one’s opponent without their knowledge, fundamentally allowing its practitioners to neutralize target without them knowing that they are already dead.
Essentially a lethal martial art at its core, when combined with Knight’s in-depth anatomic knowledge on humans, animals, and Hollows, this technique has transformed into a life-saving tool using the same principles used to take a life in order preserve it by striking the body’s pressure points to aid it in repairing itself. It is because of this trait that this modified style of the Assassination Fist is sometimes called Hokuto Shin Ken in jest as a reference to a fictional fighting style that shares a similar combat doctrine and potential to be used medically with this martial art.
Kami No Itte (神の一手, God’s Movement): Every skill in the Asura School of Combat is imbued with immense destructive power, but masters of the Assassination Fist further improve upon this by tempering this destructive power to such a fine degree that they come off as simple everyday movements, achieved through countless repetitions of the skill to hone the practitioner’s body until it is able to use them with minimal movement. This compacting of techniques effectively sacrifice style for simplicity, thereby allowing practitioners of the Assassination Fist to deliver decisive strikes with any kind of physical contact no matter how minimal or simple, be it a slap, a tap, a brush, or whatever. Only those who have honed their core fighting skills to perfection (must be of equal or greater Mastery in Hand-to-Hand, Weapon Skill, or Stepping) can even see past such deceptions, while anyone unable to could easily mistake a bone-crushing attack for a handshake, or an earth-shattering kick to be a simple act of stepping forward.
Sanryūshō (三龍掌, Triple Dragon Palm) Type: Offensive/Support Tier: III (Cooldown: -) Range: Melee A technique which allows for simultaneous strikes to be executed all at once. The skill itself is meant to consolidate attack power into a single decisive blow, consisting of three consecutive strikes at a single point on a target’s body, executed in rapid succession in a single instance. All three attacks may be imbued with other techniques.
Hiken (秘剣, Hidden Blade) Type: Offensive/Support Tier: VII (Cooldown: 4) [Non-Release] Range: Melee A lethal attack considered to be the greatest technique of the Assassin Fist. It is designed to deliver a killing blow that is able to pierce through a heavily armored target’s defenses, disguised in the deception afforded by its progenitor style to avoid detection.
Shinryū (神竜, Storm Dragon) Type: Offensive/Defensive/Illusion/Supplementary/Binding Class: Release Tier: Variable Range: 100m - 50m in diameter (Offensive/Defensive/Binding); 100m - 100m in diameter (Illusion/ Support) Not as much as a skill, but rather a title Knight obtained after developed an unnamed ability deemed as the natural evolution and successor of Imperator Tempestates. Knight managed this after learning the ways of the Storm God, Susano’o-No-Mikoto, and combined it with his existing knowledge on wind manipulation from the Storm Titan, Typhon. The result was a drastically upgraded Imperator Tempestates which takes Knight’s complete mastery over the gusts and gales to its absolute extreme to conquer even the branch elements of fire, electricity, ice, and water, with the manipulation of wind as the focal point and base for all of them.

The evolved Dangai Spirit’s purple eyes shot wide open and a trickle of black blood ran down the edge of its lips. It stood wide-eyed in disbelief, unable to comprehend that it had just been defeated in an instant. Nothing could’ve prepared it for what the newcomer had in store for it.
Standing near-lifeless from the merciless fusillade of lethal attacks it was served one after the other, the Spirit’s barely human figure desperately tried to maintain itself but failed spectacularly, its mangled body dropping down to the ground with a sickening thud, black blood and guts spilling from the ghastly wounds all over its body.
Despite its best efforts to try to stay alive, it was no use. It was already dying, and soon enough, it succumbed to the severity of its injuries. In that moment, the creature’s physical form faded out into white like a phantom, and in its place stood the barely visible figure of none other than Kisuke Urahara himself. He knew he had some explaining to do and now was the time for it.
WIN
KISUKE = URAHARA
It took a while for Kisuke’s apparition to stabilize in the mindscape of the comatose Dangai Spirit but it eventually became solid enough to be seen by everyone there as a solid figure. He wore the unmistakable garb of the famous Karakura storeowner, complete with the hat gesture and classically calm tone known by almost every shinigami.
“Oh wow, looks like I’ve gone and did it this time,” he remarked with a sigh. “I’m really sorry about this, but I seem to have accidentally pulled you all into an…experiment of mine. Let me get straight to the point cuz you guys are all probably worried and/or angry, for which I apologize. But hey, you can’t make a science cake without breaking a few science eggs, right?”
Kisuke held up his hands in a defensive gesture. “Now before you go and panic, lemme just say that all of you weren’t in any danger at all. The most that could’ve happened was that you get disconnected from this dream and you wake up in the real world, safe and sound. Which brings us to the matter at hand.”
With a wave of his hand, Kisuke produced a static figure of a Dangai Spirit, complete with realistic breathing and subtle movements that could fool anyone into thinking that it was the real deal.
“Right now, you’re all inside this particular creature’s dream. It doesn’t have a name yet since this is the first time we’ve encountered something like this but I’ll just go ahead and call this guy Manabu-kun cuz of its ability to learn and mimic skills, fighting styles, and even strengths. So first things first, have any of you guys ever seen this creature before?”

His attacks hit the spirit flawlessly but overall it didn't do any help, though Ryohei kept being positive, again thinking of ways of how he could take this thing down. But something caught his attention, a figure appearing from the corner of his eye. Ryohei could only smile, seeing as how they had more help and support against the beast. As he felt like he needed to update the newcomer with important information, Ryohei went back to the human and stood his ground while facing the beast. But before he could say anything, the man was already on the attack, as a flurry of attacks had ripped through the beast and seemingly killed the monster with little ease. He had never seen anything like that before, except rumors of captains who had that kind of power. While the battlefield went silent and free of the spirit, Ryohei's shocked expression disappeared from his face and was soon replaced by a relieved look, though he was still pretty impressed from the show that the newcomer put on. "Well, I'm glad that worked out." Ryohei chuckled and faced the newcomer. "Thanks for your help, something told me that we would be here all day if it wasn't for you." Ryohei smiled as he sheathe his zanpakuto and looked around the landscape, witnessing the various people that hopefully felt like they accomplished something. But what was that thing and where where they? He and probably the rest of the group had the same question.
Suddenly something gained his attention. A man in a weird attire with a hat flicked in and out of existence until he was fully there. Ryohei's shocked expression returned as he realized who this person was and smiled. He listened to Kisuke, an infamous legend and probably one of smartest men he knew about, explained about his experiment and how they got here. Ryohei understood perfectly, relieved to hear that they weren't in any real danger. Ryohei then examined the figure that appeared beside Urahara, the same spiritthat they had fought just awhile ago, now called Manabu. Ryohei smiled, chucking at the fact that now that it had a name, it didn't seem so scary anymore. Although it would be a different story if Urahara decided to sick him on the group. The question ran though Ryohei's mind. He was sure if would remember something like this before, a spirit with such power and presence. As hard he could he searched through his head, but sadly there was no relocation of the beast and he shakes his head. "No, I don't think I have. What is it? Was it something that you created?"
There was no rest for the wicked it seems. As soon as one threat was dealt with another, even greater threat rose again to face them. Leveling his revolver to face down the demon, Liam resigned himself to what would be one extremely harsh battle. One that would no doubt test his skill and resolve as a Quin-
And someone just showed up and killed it.
......That was rather anti-climatic. Should Liam blame the monster or the one who showed up to kill it?
Screw it, he would just be irritable at everyone and be done with it. His face relaxed back into its' standard position of a slightly irritated scowl as he regarded the newcomers with a wary eye. This whole situation kept pissing him off more and more with each passing moments. Who the hell were these people? What the hell was that thing? And most importantly, what the hell was going?
Letting out a small sigh, Liam was simply fed up. All he wanted to do was simply lie down and go right back to sleep. With everything that he would be going through tomorrow, he could use the rest.
When the one responsible for the annoyance he had been dealing with finally appeared, the first thought in his head was to shoot Urahara's silly hat off of his head. But in his infinite patience and understanding, Liam held back.
"Three questions." He began, holding up a hand in order to catch the enigmatic shopkeeper's attention. "Who are you? Why this experiment in particular? And what the hell is that thing?"
By this point, Liam just wanted some damn answers so he would have to know if he should pitch in or just leave it to the walking armies that seemed to have popped up out of nowhere.

"What." The instant Raiden had charged forward, a man stood suddenly next to the demon, causing him to stop in his tracks. In the blink of an eye, he saw all the movements happening. Yet he knew this mysterious man's prowess was on a level seperate of his own, a speed he couldn't attain just yet. The combined attacks all chained up. A slow mutter, the traditional "The fuck," left his lips once more as the spirit practically exploded infront of his eyes, causing him to back slightly in awe. "Thanks fo' that, mysterious stranger." He said as he nodded in respect towards the man that had just completely obliterated their foe.
He frowned as Kisuke Urahara appeared. Stories and rumours. He had never met the man in the flesh, but heard a lot of talk about him. As he started speaking, Raiden realized at least half of the stories were true and not exeggarated. Quite the change of opinion. The man looked like a fucking airhead, yet he really did a number here. Pulling all these people into the dream of one thing that was the dangai spirit.
The half naked substitute shinigami, complete with a couple of horns at the side of his head, stepped forward, speaking up. "I have." He said, followed by a slow sigh. "These fuckers are damn hard to kill. 'N related to the dangai somehow. You gotta obliterate their bodies twice to kill 'em 'n they regenerate like a hollow. Even worse when there's a dangai portal opened in close proximity," he took a deep breath. "They get stronger after you destroy 'em fo' the first time. Like we've seen 'ere. Though it doesn't change forms like that." He nodded. "That's what I've seen when fightin' one."

Arthur should have known that fight was too easy. This was getting all kinds of deadly serious, and very quickly -- the Dangai Spirit came back for more, with a new form and reiatsu that said it meant a whole lot more business than its previous incarnation. Arthur's eyes narrowed sharply, and his hand drew back to prepare another round of attacks from his Quincy bow. He sized up the transformed spirit, took aim, and... The fight was over. An individual he hadn't seen up until this point appeared, delivered a crushing series of attacks to the spirit, and brought the battle to a close before Arthur could even realize it'd begun.
And then... Kisuke Urahara. He was only vaguely familiar with this man, but as he began his bizarre explanation that they were somehow inside a dream state of sorts within the consciousness of the Dangai Spirit, Arthur questioned how much he could really understand Urahara, anyway. He had somehow been drawn into the slumbering consciousness of another being? Such a feat didn't even seem possible. But then again, Arthur understood so little of the current predicament, anyway.
"Never seen a creature like this in my life," he said in response to Urahara's questioning, "For that matter, I understand very little of this whole episode, from top to bottom... I do hope you have a little more detail in store for us than that simple introduction."
That's what he is, I'll find that bastard who killed them and when I do, I'll put an arrow through his chest... He'll know something worse than Death
like i do
Groggy... Discomfort... Confusion... Different emotions to explain a strange feeling. Where was she? She felt like she'd been wandering for hours, maybe days, and found nothing... She wasn't sure where she was or how she'd got here. The last thing she'd remembered was one of His Majesties elite coming... And a spirit of some kind that couldn't be killed. But now? She wasn't entirely sure. But then she felt something, there were Reiatsu signatures spiking rapidly and wildly and so she hurried towards them as quickly as possible. She felt another presence, one she'd felt before and if it was what she thought she was, she just hoped whoever was fighting it was stronger than him. Where was it though? Minutes passed of intense running and she couldn't see anything until... It all stopped. Seemingly almost as quickly as it had begun. Eventually she did find those that she assumed were fighting before, and another... a Shinigami? Perhaps... But there were two Quincy with him! What!? She narrowed her eyes as she approached and then she saw it... Or what she thought was it anyway. Another man began speaking and asked if anyone knew what it was and though others spoke up, she was probably the last. "Yeah, I've seen that thing before... You say we're in it's dream? Then how do we get out? If this is a science experiment who's pulling the strings? You? A Shinigami perhaps? Wouldn't surprise me to see them stooping this low to kill the rest of the Pure Blooded Quincy that escaped." The venom in her voice was apparent, and she made no attempts to hide the fact that she knew what a Shinigami was... Though whether or not they'd realize she herself was a Quincy remained to be seen. Despite it though, she cared not if they realized she was a Quincy as the venom in her voice was probably evidence enough. "Although, from the looks of it either they have a really bad habit of targeting their own in recent years, this Shinigami is a traitor, or the Shinigami aren't the cause of their appearance." She was looking directly at Urahara when she spoke with the same venom as before, though it was probably pretty obvious she was talking about Raiden here. "So, tell me, Where the hell am I and what are those things exactly? His Majesties own struggled against it so it isn't some ordinary or run-of-the-mill hollow reject." Her attention then turned to the three others that were there "So you three are either souls that got eaten by one, Humans, or a Quincy... Which is it?"
