So, I've got a bone to pick (inb4 pika comes storming in like a child saying boxes are dumb blah blah). For starters, for the past few months I've been speaking with staff primarily Pika the main admin in regards to getting my techs created for my Canon Techs Super Box. The box description says Canon Release Techniques: This allows you to select up to two techniques from any character that has apeared in Bleach (Manga, Anime, or Movies). Once you've selected your two techniques, staff will fashion them into techniques for your character. In addition, you gain the same perks associated with the +1 Maximum Release Techniques box with these abilities.
One line i'd like to highlight is "staff will fashion them into techniques for your character." Now my understanding is I was to tell staff what I wanted and they themselves would make the techniques. So I did this and finally settled after several ideas. However fast forward to about a week before the deadline and Time Warner Cable is being trash as usual, my internet was real spotty and even out for several days. When I finally was able to get some connection for a little while I ask Pika "so who's going to make my techs whats the hold up" and he tells me to speak to Cae....I speak to Cae and he tells me I have to make the techs myself. Obviously I didn't due to internet issues and the deadline passes. I was willing to drop it but I recently saw this in cbox click. This shows that staff is willing to make an item for someone through pms but I experience a miscommunication where staff shouldve made my techs as well and am punished for it instead? Yea nah. I'd like my box to be used thank you very much. |

Since I'm in the screen shot and I was also there for the previously mentioned Cbox statement, I want to actually agree with this. The way the box is written is the same as all others of its type, and in no way does it say the player needs to do any work aside from PMing a staff your "selected two techniques." Just as it was for the item box I had, it states that "staff will fashion them" blah blah blah.\ Here are all the 'custom' or 'canon' techniques/items/etc creation boxes. listed things... Regular Boxes
1) Free Custom Item/Weapon/Invention: Allows you to create and add a customized item/weapon/invention to your profile without having to train or buy it. Note that it still has to be approved by staff through the technique registration board.
2) Free Step/Cero/Kido/etc Variant: Allows you to create a variant type of a step, cero, bala, kidou, etc. You need to get it approved in the technique registry, but you do not need to purchase/train it, but can automatically get it added to your profile. Note that you must meet the requirements in order for your character us use this variant.
3) Free Custom Made Tech up to Tier VII: Allows you to create a technique of any tier including tier VII. This technique does not need to be purchased/train this technique, however, it must be accepted through the technique registry. Note that your character must meet the required prerequisites to use this technique.
4) Staff Created Item/Weapon/Invention: Allows you to have a member of staff create an item/weapon/invention for one of your characters. PM the staff member you want to create your item the overall theme you want it to follow and the character you want it for, and they will send you one.

5) Canon Item: A specially crafted item that resembles an item or weapon carried by a canon/filler character from the past or present. The item or weapon will also be given an ability to represent that canon (IE: Starrks Cero Guns). This item will be soul-bound to your character, thus it cannot be stolen or taken away... if such an event would occur that the item is physically taken, the item will dissolve and reappear in your possession. You'll be given the choice of a canon, and we, the staff, will create your item and give it two/three abilities... and please give us a canon we can work with =D Makes it easier for all of us.
6) Perfected Shunko and Shunko only Variant Technique: This allows you to create an Perfected Level Shunko technique so long as you reach most of the criteria normally required for shunko (IE: one mastery off), with a lower tier of shunko being provided for each additional criteria you fail to meet (Mastered for two masteries off, Intermediate for three off, Beginner for four). Non-Shinigami races cannot use this box. *No mention of required staff approval, btw
7) Canon Release Techniques: This allows you to select up to two techniques from any character that has apeared in Bleach (Manga, Anime, or Movies). Once you've selected your two techniques, staff will fashion them into techniques for your character. In addition, you gain the same perks associated with the +1 Maximum Release Techniques box with these abilities. As underlined, each of the ' staff' mentioned boxes state that staff will either create the technique or fashion them into techniques for your character. So, the moment he PM'd staff his two techniques, staff should have 'fashioned them into techniques' for his character. He shouldn't have to ' create' the technique himself; the only techniques or items or anything listed in boxes that require the player to actually create, specifically states just that; 1) Free Custom Item/Weapon/Invention - "Allows you to create and add a customized item/weapon/invention to your profile without having to train or buy it. Note that it still has to be approved by staff through the technique registration board."

**This one does not specifically specify the requirement of going through the tech registry; since it can be argued, I would suggest this to be fix. Askin Nakk Le VaarI do recall this coming up in PMs a while back and Pika and I discussing it. However after a certain point I thought it had either been resolved or you decided against doing it as I saw no more communication and it seemed to me at the time that Pika was taking care of it. I was unaware also of Cae informing you otherwise on the techs having to be fashioned by you. As the box states that simply isn't the case, you can if you want obviously fashion them and we can just approve them, but if you don't want to go through that we certainly should be accomidating you in creating the tech. Please send a PM to myself, Mist, and Cae with a link to this thread explaining this. As well as a mention of the techs you wanted us to fashion again (on the off chance they changed, since I feel Pika and I may have denied one or so of them prior to the confusion.) and we will honor your box and fix this wrong that I admit is our fault. Sorry again.
