Description: Requiring five ginto tubes, the user tosses them in front of him as he recites the Incantation. A strange barrier emerges from the tubes, large enough for the user to hide behind capable of only stop physical attacks . An opponent cannot simply break through this 10 meter dome by getting in close, and would need to apply enough physical force strong enough to break through it. Other reishi and reiryoku type techniques can still bypass the barrier.

Description: Analogous to the Shinigami Shunpo or Arrancar Sonido, the Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over short distances; according to Ishida Uryû it is faster than flash steps, though Kurotsuchi Mayuri's superior speed suggests that this is just a generalization. To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances. Kurotsuchi Mayuri compliments Ishida Uryû on being able to use this technique at such a young age, suggesting that it's difficult to master.
