The outside world thrived with activity. A tide of people walked the streets of Naruki's Entertainment District. Various stops lined the sidewalk, from electronic stores to clothing, there wasn't much it didn't offer. The crowded streets wasn't to a particular woman's liking, however, she managed to block out the noise with her pair of black headphones. She had cycled through several songs of her own making. Though the current track was from a Bullet Hell game called Touhou.
In the not so distant past, Julia worked alongside others to compose a violin version of some of the songs as well a mix of rock and violin. The music caressed her mind like a blanket of warm cotton, yet, as the rhythm picked up her mind was set ablaze like sandalwood. With each passing moment she envisioned how she drew the bow and moved her fingers along the neck of the violin. Though her face wasn't rich in emotion. Her expression remained stoic as if it was made of stone.
Julia's attire consisted of a dark purple sleeveless shirt held up by a string around her neck. Her white sweat pants were modestly stylish and great for a cool summer's day. Her shoes were of a lighter shade of purple compared to her top. In her left hand she carried with her a black brief case that held several items of importance, but the insides crafted from material no normal human could perceive, let alone break with conventional weaponry. The black leather outside was merely a cover and the four numbered lock only known by her.
She continued walking through the crowed until she made way inside an anime cafe. Downstairs, they sold coffee tea as well various baked goods and sweets. The upstairs had a modest collection of manga with its own register. Julia made her way into the cafe portion and sat on a stool at the end of the bar. She placed her briefcase and headphones on the edge and rested her arms on the counter. Several customers were eating and drinking, but she didn't pay attention to them nor the females dressed up as cat-girl maids, apparently that was this week's theme.
The woman behind the counter was in her mid thirties and wore a slightly different maid dress than the others, her apparently taking on the role of 'head maid'. "Welcome home Master. We have a fine variety of cakes and tea today. Today's special is strawberry cake." Julia slightly smirked and spoke. "Pleasantries to you as well. Julia-sama would enjoy today's special with Jasmine tea." Despite Julia being a non-native, she spoke Japanese decently well.
