PERSONALITY
Lisa is soft spoken and not one to really go after someone for an offense they may have caused her. People have commented that she tends to act as a door mat, letting people walk over her. She tends to think of herself as being a caring and giving person, but in truth, she is a bit of a pushover and is easily manipulated by those around her. She is a bit of an idealist, seeing people as what they could be rather then what they are often leading her to not notice that she is being used by someone or that someone is toxic to her.
She never really got out of her love at first sight phase while she was alive. As it stands she has been struck by cupids arrow as she has fallen in love with the man who saved her and sent her to the Soul Society. She has developed romantic feelings for the Subshinigami known as Raiden. This has caused her to idealize him above all others, and it stands as her main motivation for joining the Shinigami. She wishes to fight alongside him, and to possibly one day, marry him.
HISTORY
Lisa Monette was born in France 13 years ago. She had been born to a family of wealth. Her own family having many businesses in japan made regular visits to the regal country. Lisa grew to love Japan, her mother and father eventually deciding to stay in japan after she was accepted to one of private schools in the country on her 12th birthday. She was scheduled to start attending the school when she turned 14, after learning the Japanese language. But she never made it to her 14th birthday. Lisa died while walking to her Japanese teachers house having been struck by a car.
It was hard for her to accept at first, but Lisa had found herself dead and unable to communicate with anyone. She had not been dead long though, only about 2 months before she was attacked by a hollow. She was paralyzed with fear, as the massive beast leaped at her. But it never reached her, its body destroyed as Lisa saw a man land in front of her, it was here that she fell in love for the first time in her life. The man had saved her, and to her he was like a knight in shining armor. Soon she was introduced to him, and learned he was called Raiden. She was then soon sent to the SS, after a brief hug of gratitude at being saved. From there she decided to join the academy, to be able to fight side by side with the person she had fallen for.
