APPEARANCE
Rei has the appearance of a young woman, although she has litter in terms of "feminine qualities". She has a very slim and slender figure, with very little in terms of breast or hip size, and tends to keep her hair cropped in a relatively short and tomboyish manner. Her hair is probably her most notable feature altogether, as it is a bright, silvery-white in color, and quite thick. She also has a rather atypical eye color, with her irises appearing to be a pale lavender.
Another notable feature of Rei, at least considering her status as a Shinigami, is her wardrobe. Unlike most, she doesn't tend to wear the traditional Shihakusho. Instead, she tends to wear a jet-black suit, consisting of a suit-vest, tight trousers, white undershirt, and black tie. The final piece of Rei's wardrobe that she is seldom seen with out is black bow with white lace that she keeps tied in her hair. This is likely one of her only common feminine features, and without it it would be quite easy to mistake her for a boy altogether.
Rei tends to carry two swords, one being a standard, guardless katana with a black hilt and sheath that she tends to keep strapped in her belt, with the other being a much larger, nodachi-esque katana with a broad, western-style hilt and guard that she keeps strapped to her back.
