The desert was a big and scary place, especially for little Nel. She had memories of all sorts of things that had happened, when before she had been care-free and had loved to run around with her brothers and Bawabawa, suddenly the world was infinitely more complicated, so complicated her little head wasn't able to contain everything that seemed to be within it. She had come to realize that her brothers weren't brothers at all! And Ichigo, the one responsible for all of this had left Hueco Mundo.
Nel didn't mind that so much; Ichi always tried to protect her, but she just wanted life to go back to how it had originally been, sometimes. She recalled her time as a grown-up Espada and wondered if Ichi was okay. Dondochakka and Pesche weren't far behind her, and Nel was stood upon a sand dune, looking out across the beautiful night landscape that was Hueco Mundo and rubbing her large, orb-like eyes with two small fists.
"Hey guys, Nel's all alone up here!" she called down to her former fraccion, wondering if they'd gotten lost or something. Usually they'd be running straight up to her, making her cry with terror as part of their games. The thought of losing them was terrifying, for then she really would be all alone in the desert. "Dondochakka? Pesche?" Nel called out, her lower lip wobbling, as she fought back tears, before wailing up at the moon, water streaming from her eyes.
Another day in the endless wastelands of Hueco Mundo. Another day where he had to survive in order to pursue his goal of knowledge. The snail of lava slid across the endless dunes, feeling the wind on his face, a cool breeze that felt more like a warm pat against his features. Sliding at a rather unnatural speed for a snail-like creature, the Adjuchas pressed on, looking for another unfortunate soul to eat. He pitied his victims, but he had to learn. In this world, he must put himself first, and others later.
As the creature continued to slide, his mind began to turn the gears on his philosophical thoughts. What was his past like? If he were a human, was he, perhaps, a father? A brother? A son? A nagging sensation that gnawed at Magma's mind, something he couldn't get out of his head even if he tried. He had to continue pressing on.
Suddenly, he heard a wail. The wail of a child. A human child. That was unusual, no, it was impossible, there were no children in Hueco Mundo. A strange sense of concern washed over Magma, and he moved further and further, sliding faster, until he got over a dune and saw, in the middle of a smooth patch of white desert, a child, crying her eyes out. Judging by the skull-like helmet on her head, she was one of those Hollows who tore their mask off. His eye noticed her helmet was cracked, but it was something that wasn't of his concern. She was, for all intents and purposes, a lost child.
He approached the little Arrancar, doing the best smile he can. "Why, hello there. What're you doing around these parts?"

A garganta opened several meters above both the snail like hollow and the small arrancar. From within said dimensional tear, a body dropped. A female arrancar of what it looked like, yet. Far more matured then the child. The woman fell down on the sand with a gentle thud, infront of the two, some white sand flying up. Her chest rising and falling slowly as she was panting heavily. One eye closed. She looked at the hollow and arrancar, one eyes closed. Catching her breath, some sweat glistening on her brow. She took a deep breath and sat up. "Well.. The human world is quite.. Busy." She said to no one in particular, before standing up.
As the woman stood up straight, she started padding her knees off, looking in the distance. "And not an inch closer.." She murmured to herself as she regarded the dark horizon. She looked back at the two, arching an eyebrow. A slug and a.. Child? An arrancar child? She saw the traces of the mask on Nel's head. Quite the amount that remained. The only thing that remained was down at her cheeks and behind her neck. Hidden by the long manes. Well, this was as good a place as any to rest.
With that thought, she sat back down on the sand, legs crossed, pulling the scythe from her back and putting it in her lap. "Good.. Whatever time of day it is now.. To you two." She said, taking another deep breath and resting again, her eyes a radiant purple, hands resting on the scythe on her lap.

Nel turned rapidly on the spot from her incessant wailing. Tears still pouring comically down her cheeks, she regarded this strange hollow with exuberant eyes, her crying briefly abated, but her lower lip still wobbled. She thought he looked like a big cartoon snail- and under any other circumstances she might have laughed or punched it or done something but she was all alone and her brothers weren't there for her, so she was simply a little fightened- and not in a good masochistic kind of way, either.
"W- w- its a Eth-cargo!" she quailed. "Nel'th justh lookin' for her bwotherth!" she said, her lisp exacerbated by her distress. "I know ya wantth ta eat Nel but Nel won't let ya!" she said, standing firm. Suddenly, a lady with big boobies appeared fell from a garganta in the sky. Nel screamed- it was an arrancar! In her distress she began flailing, her crying having resumed. "It'th an awwancar aaaaaaaaa Eth-Cargo we gonna dieeeeeeee." she sobbed, leaping up and attempting to grapple herself onto the snail-like hollow's shell, somehow simultaneously gripping on as tight as she physically could and also flailing her little limbs about with incredible vigor. "Eth-cargo gogogogo the awwancar'th gonna get uth!" she told him, sitting bolt upright upon his shell and pointing her hand away, as if commanding the hollow to ferry her away.
Surprised, the Hollow was, at the young child's screaming and crying. The snail felt some sense or even desire to protect this lost child. Her blubbering aside, he figured that she had lost her brothers, her protectors, so when the child started screaming about another Arrancar, before he knew it, she was climbing up his shell like one would mount a horse to ride on. In some ways Magma was amused, but then he turned to see the new Arrancar. A young woman with locks of ebony black hair marking her face.
Magma knew full well of what the Arrancar were capable of, but she didn't seem aggressive or antagonistic. Using his judgment, Magma decided he would negotiate with the woman as best he could. "Alright now, girl, settle down, I'll make sure you aren't hurt."
Magma turned and nodded to the Arrancar politely. "And a good day to ypu, Maskless. We both mean no harm, she's just very frightened right now."
All the while, the Hollow kept his shell cool for the child. A strange sense, one that felt almost familiar, drifted into his mind. He was protecting this child, and while he doubted he stood any chance against the Arrancar in front of them, he would try.

She arched an eyebrow at the frantic ravings of the child, the hollow pormising that she won't be hurt. She sighed slowly, turning her attention back to the black horizon. "If I wanted to attack any of you, you wouldn't have noticed right up until this blade was around your throat.." She said, looking up at the snail. The arrancar on its back and trying to use it as a mount to escape this wrath that Nel figured Lillith had. She held the scythe up with an indifferent shrug, before putting it down on her lap again. She chuckled slowly at the hollow calling her 'maskless'.
"Maskless?" She smiled gently. "Whatever happened to Miss?" She asked, shrugging at whether they meant harm or not. "You couldn't even if you tried." She said with a cunning smirk. Even if they would try something, she'd be long gone already, just darting forward and she would immediatly be beyond their reach. "I am merely resting. You needn't fear me." She said slowly. She'd rather be alone, rest without having a hollow and an arrancar staring at her. Then again, conversation was nice once in a while. And she was quite interested in how, not this arrancar, but the hollow felt. Arrancar don't need to eat souls to sustain, yet, hollows do. That might be an interesting topic for later.

Nel stopped her tantrum momentarily when the Snail-like hollow told her she wouldn't be hurt. She felt comforted by its soft voice and reassurances. She sat bolt upright upon the shell, hiccoughing wanly, before the hollow turned to the arrancar. Nel pulled her best cheer face and goaded her newfound friend on. "Go Eth-cargo! Thdop that awancar!" but he did not stop the arrancar- he did something much worse. Not only that but she had told them that she could have killed them both without them even knowing. Neliel was at risk of doing something else like crying or screaming or running away or something. She was tense, waiting to see what would happen, when the hollow nodded and talked to the arrancar- as if he were trying to reason with it. Nel nearly fainted and wanted to try and urge Eth-cargo to slime away as quickly as he'd appeared.
"Hey awancar you ain't kiddin' Nel, or Eth-cargo!" she said, her eyes narrowed in suspicion. "You'th one of da bad guyth." she told Lillith matter-of-factly, a single finger raised in the air. "Thereth no way Nel'th afraid of you!" she said with sudden bravado- her fear having left her body at the suggestion that they should fear this arrancar.
This was definitely a strange encounter, to be blunt. Magma kept on his toes, well, as much as he had toes (he didn't), and Nel on his shell made the encounter even stranger. Luckily for him, it seemed that the Arrancar woman was willing to negotiate, although he wondered what kind of Ressurreccion she had. Granted, given the kind of power he could sense radiating off her, she was far beyond his current abilities, and the scythe she held was something that could easily butcher him and Nel. To the snail's indignation, Nel began to start pointing and yelling at the Arrancar. He gritted his gums, knowing that the female wasn't kidding. He could fight her as much as he wanted, but he accepted the fact that they had perhaps come across something of an apex predator.
The Arrancar's pride, however, combined with Nel's sudden burst of bravado, caused a faint temper to surge in Magma. He didn't like that, especially the way she told him he couldn't hurt her if he tried. And yet, he knew that she was right. And Nel could easily get them killed. However, the Arrancar was at least reasonable, and even seemed rather passive, so the snail simply nodded.
"I understand. Sometimes, we come across the oddest things in this wasteland. But, Maskless, I must ask you, whereabouts are you from? Perhaps it may be where this young Maskless comes from," and to Nel, he turned to her and gave her a stern stare, "And child, quit down."
To cease her behavior, he began to raise the heat in his shell, not enough to burn her, but enough to give her a warning signal.

A gentle smirk appeared on the arrancar's face when the child started to cheer her mount on, blaring to stop the arrancar. But, what was there to stop? Stop her from taking a break and having a nice and relaxed sit on the white sands of the ever nocturnal Hueco Mundo? That was just bad manners. "Where I'm from?" She chuckled. "If only I knew." She said. "I woke up inbetween some broken seals when I still possessed my mask." She tutted her lips, her grip tightening around the scythe's hilt. "And that's all I remember. I do not know of how I came to be. My past. My former comrades. The only thing I recalled was the word 'Lillith'." She said with a gentle smile. "As such, I believed it to be my first name."
She turned her gaze towards the child, soft, yet a cunning spark in her eyes. "If I were a bad 'guy', would I converse with you two?" She asked, trying to get the arrancar child to think about her own nonsensical raving. That and she wasn't a 'guy'. She was a feminine creature. "I am not one of Aizen's lackeys." She concluded, shrugging. She had heard rumours, saw other arrancar under command of Aizen. A fracción of one even coming to recruit her while she was still a vasto lorde. "Hm. Courage or just ravings.." She asked herself. The child was obviously afraid, clutching to the hollow's shell like that. "And, my name is not Arrancar or Maskless, I'd rather have you calling me Lillith." She said with a gentle smile.

"Ow,ow,ow,ow" Nel said as she danced from one bare foot to the other upon the hollows rapidly heating shell. No fair! She couldn't make herself hot to touch like that. "Nel doethn't wanna be quiet! Ethcawgo owchie!" she said with a hiccough. At this rate she was in danger of crying once more. She ignored the boring adult conversation the other two were having and hopped down off of her snail-y friend's back. She walked around, kicking sand about wondering how she could plan her great escape since Escargot was clearly no help. What did she even thinking, trusting him, he was a snail! Snails can't go fast! Still at least he wasn't a slug.
"Ya might before ya tried ta kill us!" Nel piped up, braver than she felt. "Baddies are always monologuing!" she said with a disgruntled look upon her little face. Nel was emboldened by the fact that this lady wasn't an agent of Aizen Souske who quie frankly scared the bejeebers out of Nel. "Nel would rather call you thdoopid-head!" she said knowing that Pez and Don would nod fervently in agreement had they been there. She didn't know how this arrancar was going to take her insult and was prepared to flee if need be.
