Akane's confidence in her defiant stance went straight out the door as soon as the first energy attack shot passed her face, causing her snobbish posturing to fall apart completely. "Hiii!!!" Akane's neck cricked over to the crater that'd formed as a result of Mitsuoki's attack and slowly she turned to look at Mitsuoki, eyes full of fear at what'd just happened. She'd escape through the door! Or not... A wave of dread washed over Akane as she observed the only exit to the arena become covered in a wall of stone... This was seriously bad wasn't it? Suddenly Akane didn't feel so safe with Mitsuoki around...
"I don't wanna do this anymore!!!" Akane cried in protest, uncontrollable tears bursting from her eyes. But whether she was acting or not, Mitsuoki's deluge of attacks didn't let up. They might not have carried the weight of the first attack he'd shown her but they still hurt about as much as his forehead flicks did. Akane started a desperate attempt to dodge the attacks, only occasionally getting lucky and narrowly avoiding. The vast majority of attacks were still making contact and one attempt to avoid even sent Akane crashing to the ground in a heap. Thought processes went out the door as Akane's desperation to avoid getting hit only grew stronger. Fear building up, tears continuing to stream even though her audio faculties were focused on breathing and dodging. She'd never been faced with this kind of an assault before...!
When thought returned to her... at least partially, Akane attempted to obscure Mitsuoki's aimed attacks with her illusory flames. Maybe she'd be able to hide among her own fire...? No... it didn't work she noticed right away when the attacks still landed, causing even more stinging pain to pierce her body. When that failed, Akane decided distance was better. Mitsuoki's attacks were insanely fast but maybe she could dodge them easier if she was further away? Akane made a mad dash away from her former savior in an attempt to distance herself from both him and his onslaught.
