Something about the human girl's statement clung to the back of Nadežda's mind. His large wolfish ears flicked and his tail swished back and forth. His hands were preoccupied with examining the assets upon his illusion's upper body. Soft like marshmallows, and springy just like a healthy mattress. There was nothing to dislike about the form he took while he donned his illusion's appearance. "I don't think I can see the issue with this... While I must agree, humans seem to have a greater difference in physical appearances when looking from one gender to another..." Nadežda pondered the gender issue. He'd lived for so long, been alone as a hollow for what one could only see as ages passed, that gender didn't really matter to him anymore... "Physically male, but visually female... If I recall from recent observations, humans themselves seem to be distorting this physical reality. Men and women claiming to be the other gender... It really is quite confusing if one thinks about it..."
Nadežda dropped his hands to his sides and stared off into the distance. Some things were better off if he didn't dwell on the uncertainties. One thing was certain. He was male. His illusion's appearance was apparently female. Did that difference in appearances define who he was? Nadežda didn't think so. He saw this form as more a representation of the master he'd lost in life. She'd been unfathomably precious to him. With the illusion he possessed, at the very least he could preserve her existence in his own mind with this.
The old Hollow waited. There was something Sae wanted to do? At least he was certain that'd been what she said. Either way he was waiting for her now. With his day's meal out of the way he'd proceeded to stand and ponder pointless trifles while he waited.

Yes, there was something that she desired to do and having a tag along would not exist this desire, but nonetheless, as the hours passed, almost like a day or two in hours; had time mattered truly. Within the distance and beneath the shining moon, familiar hues held to pink reflected such a shine to the dreary dark distance, where Nadežda had laid to wait and for a moment, the familiar signature belonging to Sae danced for a moment, like a wavering candle to signal Nadežda that was indeed her, in the distance. However, this was not the only reflective color that beamed from her body, it was a flame that danced upon a black lengthy tail with her and with that light as a lantern, she almost seemed canine in a way. It appeared this way, until she finally got in good sight to Nadežda.
“Ah. You waited.” That was the first words that left her mouth, she almost seemed surprised by how Nadežda waited for her, almost feeling completely bad for making him wait so long. Among her body, she had a few bruises, a few bite marks and where the bandages covered her torso beneath her new attire, that had to be much worse. Thus, she may have ran into quite a bit of trouble within the whole eight or ten hours she had been gone, which felt like days without something to do. Had anything else been looked at, it was her lengthy tail that was black, which held the flame that Nadežda would’ve saw from the distance, but much closer now.
“Sorry, I am just a little tired.” She added. With those words expressed, the pink haired female took her seat within the stand and laid upon her back, looking to the sky for a moment. Possibly, the most unique change was her presence now, but that was something to be glossed over. So, what did she go do?
It is my life, as the sand, that T R I C K L E S out.
Nadežda glanced over to the sands ahead to behold something quite unusual. It appeared to be Sae but with a few key differences. A tail, something he hadn’t seen on her before, waving in rhythm to her steps as she approached. From it, a glow as if a light or beacon in the dark. ”Possibly not the best choice of attention to portray…” Nadežda thought to himself as he continued to observe the girl’s approach. He knew of a few hollows in his time who were keenly attracted to such lights. Strange as they were, the creatures were less often prey and more often of the predator variety.
”It is as you say. Regrettably I’ve little that I do outside of necessity lest it peaks my own interests. To bend to the interests of another once in a while is a welcomed reprieve from my daily norms.” Nadežda spoke matter-of-fact in response to the girl’s words. The old Hollow cocked his head a little to the right, examining the human girl’s form and the differences in her presence. “Strange… I sense a strength coming from you which I haven’t felt much until now. Is it just me or is there something about this place which grants you humans an increased rate of growth? Even the girl I sensed and observed from a distance within Las Noches seemed to grow at an astonishing rate…” Nadežda’s honest curiosity shown on the features of his illusory face.
”Tired… perhaps because of whatever it was which gave you those injuries?” Nadežda noted, pointing out the visible scrapes and scratches. “Could it possibly have something to do with this newfound strength I sense within you young Sae?” The Hollow inquired, sitting down next to the girl before also assuming a position on his back near her. It was a significant gesture from the Hollow. Rarely would he ever relax in such a way around another, yet he felt no need to worry, no fear that Sae might turn on him. While the girl may have a history of dark dealings, and was by no means normal as humans considered the notion. She did seem to have a handle on herself, on what she was.
Hm. A simple existence. Living the life of a hollow was quite different compared to the busy life of a human being, compared to the hours a human had to get things done, she was a person that lived on seconds and was forced not to allow a single one to be wasted. Ah, she rushed so much when it came to thought. The reflection of her life was snap-lets, she couldn’t remember a time she actually sat down to enjoy something, well, she could… But… Thinking of those few times, or that one recent one would do no good now. It was with these reflections that she found greater questions. She could’ve managed a more successful life if she interacted more and rushed less? As much as she wanted to believe, the result would’ve been different. Much different. A horrid different. No matter what, she still lost them. Her father. Her brother. Nothing can heal something like that.
In result, she only play the hand she was dealt and at first, she did it with cleverness and now? She simply dropped cards on whim or whatever was given, was thrown without thought or process. This hole was too deep. Now? As the thoughts danced more, her head lifted as her hues fell upon Nadežda and as she looked to Nadežda, she did not look at him, but through him or rather, into him. Not as a meal, but with some thought on deeper function. “I met a Vasto Lorde.” She said, regarding her increase in power and despite how odd that sounded. The thought of a Vasto Lorde and her still being alive, was interesting and hard to understand. “... And Quincy.” She added with a sharp exhale, a deep sigh for her displeasure in that experience.
Taking her palms to the sand, she lifted herself up and sat with her legs being pulled into her torso as she curled up, some wounds were deep, almost to the bone or through muscle, these wounds were specifically on the right forearm and left leg, outer thigh. While the wounds to her torso and the other things were nowhere near as bad. The only true wound that seemed to be beast or inflicted by a hollow than a human, let alone a Quincy, was on her forearm, where it looked as if hook nails made friends with her flesh. A stab more than a slash, the bruising being that of a press to grab than anything else considering a hit.
“At first. I mistook the Vasto as something I was looking for… But.. He was much more friendlier than I thought. ‘Least to me, until the Quincy appeared and we had a few issues.. Not with eachother, but with the Quincy.” She stated simply, taking her left index finger she pointed at the wound on her forearm. The hollow that caused such deep seeded pain, but it couldn't have been that hollow. “He tried to pull me away from an attack that would’ve killed me, and forgot his strength.” Explaining that wound, she gestured to her body as a whole. “All this was from hunting other hollows, and the Quincy.”
“Unlike that other individual. Who I believe is human. Through and through. I found out a few things, such as being a halfling and devouring souls is a lot easier than I thought.” She admitted. Swaying, her lengthy tail holding the flame was once so bright and bold, but within a second to next, that flame dispelled and her tail fell into vaporous black, which too, faded away like smoke. “Still. He was so familiar.” She whispered those words with her chin upon her knees.
It is my life, as the sand, that T R I C K L E S out.
Nadežda turned his head to the Fullbringer girl’s direction at her mention of a Vasto Lorde. Met. And yet all she sustained from the encounter were the injuries upon her body…? It was truly frightening what humans could accomplish within the most dire of situations. Perhaps his old master had relied a bit too heavily on his presence in her life… Closing his eyes the old Hollow shoved the cursed memories from his mind. His life’s master would have been better without holding onto such cruel memories. Yet it seemed now that she’d remembered those details and allowed them to control her existence in the afterlife... Vasto Lorde… It was something to think about. That Sae could handle herself against such an opponent and survive... In itself it was quite a feat. But then not all Vasto Lorde are created equal. He himself could have become one by now if he’d so desired it…
And a Quincy… Nadežda opened his eyes again to this second statement. Had she encountered both at once? But if that were the case then that meant the Quincy would have been roaming or hunting within Hueco Mundo… Most Vasto Lorde had no real reason to enter into the human realm so the chances of an encounter there would be negligible. That and Sae’s desire to remain within Hueco Mundo, strongly suggested the sighting had taken place in this realm.
Sitting up, Nadežda observed the additional injuries the girl pointed out to him. A friendly encounter with a Vasto Lorde… Depending on the Vasto, his own encountering of one would be far from a joyous endeavor. Leave it to a human girl to be able to befriend such a beast. Truly astounding.
”It is quite fortunate for you to have survived such an encounter. If it’d been myself or any other hollow, the results might have been significantly different.” Nadežda pondered Sae’s explanation of the hollow’s behavior for a moment in silence.”A very fortunate encounter. I don’t know of any Hollow who would risk themselves to save a mortal life…” Clambering to his hands and knees, Nadežda positioned himself over the human girl. His actions likely startling or confusing the girl but he didn’t seem to notice if this were true. ”There are many oddities in any world where you may reside. Whether the beings here in this world are related to you in some way, or not. Each individual may hold onto things or people they find familiar. Some even retain memories of those from their living past. It is vaguely possible that this Vasto Lorde you encountered is one such entity.”
Nadežda let his words sink into the girl’s brain for a moment, staring into Sae’s eyes. He paused, contemplating their position. Oh this was an old and familiar position for him, perhaps not for the reasons Young Sae would have considered, but still familiar to him all the same. She was a very serious girl. Sure he was serious most of the time but seeing her like this, a strange sense of obligation seemed to be welling up from within Nadežda’s being. Leaning in close, the Hollow’s illusory feminine forehead nearly touched upon the girl’s own. Unless Sae looked away, there would be no avoiding eye contact with each other. With one swift movement, Nadežda’s head moved and his tongue threaded along the girl’s cheek. Oh how he’d missed being the wolf that he was in life. If Sae showed any sign of alarm or confusion, Nadežda would simply give a half smile and say; ”You seemed kind of down… but I must admit… doing that felt kind of odd with this present form of mine…” He stated, while quietly noting to himself that using his Illusory wolf form next time would likely be more fitting given the situation they were in. "Familiarity comes in many forms young Sae. If something felt familiar to you during this encounter of yours, then it's likely best not to completely ignore it, though I would advise extreme caution when dealing with those of the Vasto Lorde variety."

Was it honestly that unusual? By counting the times on her fingers, her entire life was pretty bizarre and the times counted? Confusion, chaos, endless blurring. Narrowing themselves in the direction of Nadežda, her head tilted with the gentlest shade subtracting itself from her crimson hues. The words of the Canine rung true in many regards and aspects, hollow creatures kept some features or traits from their former state and the Vasto..? Disregarding Nadežda position over her, believing it as a canine instinct to detect a lie or curiosity to her change, Sayuri assumed the canine would lie upon her. After all, it was a beast in some nature. Sinking into her thought for a moment, the Vasto seemed quite familiar with her, knowing where to poke and where to touch without triggering her aggression. Maybe... Just as the thought, a conclude found itself, a motion washed the answer away.
Gliding over her cheek, it was the tickling sensation that ripped her from the depths of her thought and with the slight shake of her head, she turned, bewildered, as she looked at Nadežda, justifying their action. Being so far in her thought, she almost forgot a few things. "Uh... Thank you." Despite the confusion, it was merely surprising to her. Extending her arms to Nadežda, she would gently inch at this ears, regardless of form being seen, ease him away from her frame as she adjusted herself in sitting upward. It seemed to have placed her in better spirits, but it wouldn't be too good to attempt to do it again. "Yes. The Vasto Lorde are entirely stronger and furthermore intelligent." She stated, calmly as she cleaned her face.
"Adding to that, he invited me to speak to him again."
It is my life, as the sand, that T R I C K L E S out.
"It was my pleasure" Nadežda nodded slightly to the girl's thanks. He was proud to know that his actions towards her hadn't been misplaced. Sae's itching of the old Hollow's ears was a welcomed gesture and one of sensations he hadn't indulged in since times long lost to his memories. Nadežda gave way to Sae's repositioning as she sat up, sitting again beside the girl, Nadežda listened to her explanation of the supposed Vasto Lorde's visit and invitation. "Indeed all vasto lorde are frighteningly strong though I must admit intelligence is not always their strongest aspect..." He'd observed many Vasto Lorde in his time. Careful to keep himself hidden, trying to pick out suitable targets for himself even. They all boasted strength he couldn't hope to compare to though some of them seemed to let their strength go to their heads and often acted carelessly... "Answering an invitation even from this vasto lorde of yours, still seems to be a risk I would implore you not to take." Nadežda cautioned. But cautioning is all he would do. If the girl wished to seek out such a potential threat on her own then that was her business. As an outsider to her world he possessed no moral right to refuse her that desire.
"If however this is your desire then I strongly urge caution. Just as many of your Human race are inherently devious, so too are are Hollow such as I. Many hold to pains and regrets from their previous lives, though most would know not why..." Nadežda reached over to the girl, his illusory hand carefully caressed beneath her own ear. For a vague moment he wondered if humans too liked to be scratched behind them... "Whatever your decision happens to be I will offer you assistance in whatever way I am able so long as you remain within this land. Though your visiting with a Vasto Lorde goes against my better judgement..." The old Hollow allowed his hand upon the girl to fall back at his side.
