Among the pale sand, swaying within the breeze, loose pink strings danced as a female stood upon the sand with her gaze casting itself to the vast wasteland that was Hueco Mundo in name. Respectively, she hadn’t belonged to such a place, but decided to linger within the isolation and it was with the desolation that caused her to think, it was the worst fear. The fear of being alone and through this fear, she found worse. When thousands of questions arose, it was quite scary what she couldn’t answer and how spacey her memory truly was. It was the most enticing things, that had the most awful side effects. In place of the itching and scratching, she did worse with her greatest friend being a bottle of pills and living under someone’ wish. She desired one thing, but always did the other.
Was it influence? Emotion? Through loneliness, she was abused or was she willing? She’d never think or commit to cutting the strings, but all of a sudden, that is all she thought. Depression? Guilt? She couldn’t begin to remember important things, she supposed they were trivial. It was best to not think on it. Why deal with something she did not wish to? She’d admit, it was easier not dealing at all and she had no idea to why she dealt anymore. So. This is where her decision left her. In Hueco Mundo, finding security in a dog, a hollow named Nadežda, along with another canine named Khlōros. To both, she will use them to her own advancement… She was not as kind a she appeared to be.
Lifting her arms above her head, she folded them with her forearms resting atop her head. “So. It is reiatsu and reiryoku.” She murmured with her thoughts. By releasing reiatsu, something that she did not control too well, she could possibly mold it into a shape and form, thus this untapped energy within her body could be useful. As memory served her, a shinigami she clearly remembered meeting, used something interesting. It was a shield of sorts, that shattered like glass but protected her from the Quincy at the time. So. If she exerted her reiatsu, would this energy be easier to mold? [383 words]
Honestly, she had no idea what she was doing and only had assumptions, along with that little things she has seen or witnessed. With word of mouth, it was ideal to attempt the two together, because they were hand in hand in every sense of the the words. Guess that was her start, she never found it to be a big deal to learn and for some reason, she was second guessing that decision. So. Here she was. In a wasteland, where at any point, a hollow could pop out of the sand for all she knew and attack her. But, that made this all the more dire in her situation. So. She had to open the gate for improvement, it couldn’t been that difficult. Considering, Nadežda and Khlōros were keeping the area safe for the moment, but it did weigh in her mind the difficulties and weakness she presented to them.
Pushing all this to the side, she would have to began with a simple exertion of her reiatsu and when she exerted her reiatsu, it was not refined, it simply released itself all at once, as potent and strong as possible, which was horrible, because it caused difficulty in hiding, masking and when she felt a way, she couldn’t help but release reiatsu in one way or another. So. This was a no good. She needed to correct this before doing anything else.
Placing her hands together, rather, her palms together. She closed her eyes and with a sharp exhaling breath, she focused on herself, forgetting about her surroundings, as foolish as that was and with a clear mind, the lack of emotion or thought to it. She slowly, and surely, released a gentler amount of reiatsu compared to whatever amount she could as a given time. As her first attempt, there was quite a bit fluctuation in volume, it wanted to explode with all its might like a bomb, but with a lot of strain, like grinding her teeth and internal swearing with the passage of time to manage a reasonable volume. It was annoying, taking a decent amount of time.
For the most part, it was a little straining considering her situation and what she was trying to do, but oh well. Naturally, when she released her reiatsu, there was thousands of vivid fiery petals that often signaled her horrible mood, but there was far fewer and with this straining step done. It was not perfect in the slightest, but it was not perfection she was looking for, she was looking for function. The few minutes she attempted this, turned into almost half an hour of fluctuation between the volume she put out and attempting to find herself using this molding of energy known as reiryoku. Everytime she came close, where something like a thin sheet of energy was made between her palms, it disappeared into a vapor. [487 words]
Sadly, it was due to function over actual correction and properness, that it became so straining and annoying, because the moment she attempted to change her thoughts to attempting something ‘reiryoku’ related, she slipped and all together, the tone and volume increased to its natural state. Causing her to physically give out to some form of exhaustion. Thus. Planting her ass into the sand, she ceased altogether, taking a breath, the sharp exhale revealing her annoyance and for the next ten good minutes, including internal swearing. Curling into a ball, her chin rested upon her knees as her arms coiled around her knees and for a moment, a slight moment, she could feel the lingering cold tickle upon her shoulders. A familiar emotion, a feeling to be trapped into a hole and this was depression. Why was it when she was alone, that she questioned everything? Why was it when she was alone, every wound wanted to open? “What am I doing with my pitiful existence?” She couldn’t help but question. It didn’t take much to derail her, especially with her situation.
A waste. Useless. Worthless. Scared. Alone. Internally, she screamed at her self worth. It was annoying, it was always annoying. This fixation. It was happening again. Becoming worked up. Forming in her throat, a tension kept her from speaking and for another moment, her reiatsu collected within her tiny frame as if she was attempting to implode on herself, with a steadiness and for another moment, her hands cupped her ears. She couldn’t remember if this was a deep seeded anxiety or just how deep her depression hindered. Is it okay to say these words hurt? Was it okay to admit that she was tired? Even scared? Could she admit that she was always scared and hid her emotions? Down any medication that allowed her to forget? Fell for any and all words the Mare told her. It was true.. She was only useful to them, so why should she try? What was she trying to prove? What was freedom?
As the thoughts of her suppressive depression rung true with devouring her sense of self, where she screamed and swore at the berating thoughts in her head. Most would cry to go home. See a specific person. Or want to die. Despite all these things, she didn’t have a home, there was not a specific person she wanted to see and despite how much she said she wanted to die, she was horrible at that too. She could note all the times she said she wanted something, but truly did. She was so bad at wanting things, she didn’t even know what she wanted.[452 words]
Unbeknownst to breaking girl, who sat curled with the thoughts inside of her head, the tension within her throat was the first step into something close to forming a technique. A bend of energy that was as natural as breathing, it was all about committing to it. Within this void of her own emotions, where she was her worst enemy, it could’ve been called an epiphany or a reach within the darkness. Just as her nails dug into the gentle flesh upon her temples, a voice rung true.
‘Try screaming’, the gentleness of the tone was familiar. ‘When i feel worthless, scared or invalid. I scream’ the voice justified. ‘Hey. I am here. I exist. If helps you feel valid. There is nothing wrong with it’ it reasoned ‘Try it with me. It is like singing your heart out. Come on.’ It cheered.
Denying it back in that time, she refused to believe she was anything other than what she was suppose to be and thus, fall into what they said with lack of individuality, going as far as the down medications. It seemed denial was her issue. As these words weighed themselves as suggestions from a peaceful time. She paused within herself-depressive reflection. Call it an epiphany, or the ability to make a change from seeing an error. In spite of the lock in her throat, this lock that stopped her from crying aloud with its tension. She ignored it. So. What did she do? Just as the voice said, the suggestion within her memory. It was never late than never.[265 words]

Choking on her own emotions, she may have been drowning and just as the wash found herself. She screamed. She screamed louder than she has ever in her life. “ZATKNIS!” Exploding violently from her body, the sand rippled as thousands of fiery petals scattered and with her single world, the russian word reflecting annoyance, hatred and anger. The simplest word of ‘shut up’ in the sweetest of Russian, echoed through the sandy wasteland. This single word broke a veil somewhere, as a visible shockwave coursed around, this world becoming quite literal in terms of ‘shut up’. Because even the wind decided to cease its gentle breeze upon her. Sadly, there was no obvious effect, but emotionally felt nice to not hold everything in. Though, she was sure that was enough to cause some attention her way, because her voice did linger beyond the shockwave.
With a pause to that single word, the slight tickle within her throat. This familiar tension collected back within her throat as her nails eased from her temples. “I don’t care!” She screamed and it felt so nice to say that. To revolt against something. As the set of words wiggled from her throat, the same wave found itself forming and traveling around her, the sand dancing away in ripples, with her being the drop that caused it. It was interesting she didn’t quite notice. Within the distance, or from the distance, just about any creature could’ve heard a screaming fit coming from her direction and it lasted A WHILE. To such as a time to where her voice couldn’t find itself screaming in revolt to how she felt, but for some reason. It must’ve been a competition to herself, because she was yelling for so long, she wondered how loud she could do it.
Screaming out the voices in her head, the pain within her shattered heart and going as far as to enjoy the feeling of just being able to express herself. It was almost as if something broke inside of her, and for once, it was a good thing, despite it, she still left rather pathetic. After screaming beyond what her lungs are normal to, she fell back into the sand with her hands cupping her face and for a moment, it felt really nice to express. For a moment, she laid in collection of herself, in silence and as she wandered in her thoughts, the better memories that she formed. On the offhand, it was almost as if she had some type of practice. Just as her mind wandered into the all to close, but distant memory of her oddly fated moment in a bakery, she heard a growl and it caused her to jump into sitting up. [463 words]

Moving to her knees with her palms falling to the sand, she ceased herself into a crawl as her hues lifted lowered and scanned her distance. ‘Well. Shit.’ She thought to herself, she laid around for too long and thus, had the pleasure of dealing with what she attracted to her location. Peeking over the sandy hill, beyond her in a vast bit of meters was a hollow held to that of a lion in shape. Something that she did not wish to mess with as this moment, so with a bit of fright or wish for her own survival and to keep living. She did the best thing she could. Much like holding her breath, she collected her reiatsu within her body and tried to her best ability hide herself, while inching away slowly and with this attempt. Her hands dug gently into and across the sand, if she could hid herself in the sand until it passed, or until one of her two allies returned. She’ll be fine.
Or rather, she could just hide under the sand and dig herself away. Nonetheless, with each inch she motioned away, the creature got closer to her. It the sandy hillside that kept her from its view, but with each step, she sunk slower and slower into the sand. Soul communication was her stronger point, so, it was like moving through slightly melted jello, the issues was trying to keep herself calm enough or lowered enough in reiatsu to avoid this issue all together. Which was fine for the moment. Until, the hollow for a bit too close for comfort and it was with this comfort that sayuri had already been consumed by the sand, hidden completely in a thin sheet. Tensing up within her chest, it was actually like limiting her breathing, or climbing a mountain with thin levels of oxygen, it was uneasy and difficult, but she had to manage. Moving to the harder part of her situation.
It was not like swimming through water or jello, it was like swimming through quicksand, but under her own control, while trying not to choke on the fact she couldn’t breath or she’ll have lungs full of sand. As her hands extended out in a direction with her remembering which way was up, she began to dig her way through her struggle as she fled her situation and with luck on herself, the hollow losing interest or being unable to find her. Her movement wasn’t anything amazing outside of physically forcing herself through loss sand that she controlled. It was after a minute, a solid minute of holding her breath, moving and hiding her reiatsu. That she believed enough was enough. [455 words]
Popping up like a daisy in the spring, her right hand surfaced and upon being placed on a surface of sand, she made it a solid surface to where her left hand was able to find something to help her pull herself up and out. “Holy shit.” She coughed as soon as her head popped up enough to witness the air fill her lungs.“I did it.” She would've sounded a bit more happy about it, if she wasn't dying from no air. Wiggling herself out of the sandy hole, that collapsed in on itself. She moved back to her knees as she panted for air to fill her depraved lungs. That was too close for her own comfort and without anymore lying around, or becoming idle. She began to walked in the opposite direction of where that hollow left in. Picking up a brisk pace as she motioned through the sand, which sand was hard to step through, but she didn’t really think on that.
It was getting late in this sandy wasteland, so she should locate Khlōros and with that, that meant actually trying to use her abilities reiatsu better. Which. Had not been to great outside of pushing her luck with a hollow, that could’ve damn well ate her. Nonetheless, she could say that was good wrap up for her day. Having alone time, screaming abusively into the air and not getting ate. She felt just a hair better. She could have listened sooner.
