A hidden C L O C K
It always starts then S T O P S .
Weaving her web of self-destruction, tt had been some complicated, that not even she knew which direction or path she wished to take. One side wasn’t quite sure what to do or where to go, the other side was looking for some answer and when met within the middle, she was attempting to live long enough to find a single answer. It was quite depressive in some fashion, to find an answer, she needed a question and she didn’t seem to have that. Internally, she sighed within her annoyance to herself. She killed them, because it was simple, easy and was the best choice, for herself. It didn’t look between good or evil, the world was never that simple.
To a degree or a level, she related to what Nadežda explained to her and for a slight moment, she frowned to the words, a possible understanding between feelings? Who’d know. There could be many reasons to frown in this situation. However, that frown did not linger for long as Nadežda informed them on their guest. ‘Always. Complications.’ she thought without so much as a hindence within her step, she paused not nor slowed her steps. It was almost as if the warning and caution expressed went in one ear and out the other. Which was not quite the case, not in the slightest.
She placed quite a bit of consideration within the words of the beast, her steps were not hindered, but her path was altered a slight. As her finger slipped away from Nadežda, she gestured the creature to go right, while she went left. There was not concern within her gesture or body, however, she knew the difference and made her own plan. “Problematic.” She said quite dryly. She walked not directly at the hollow in question, instead chose to make a circle movement around to nearby trees for cover. “If it is aware of us, we should pretend not to be aware of it.” She suggested. There wasn’t much understanding between herself and hollows, but she assumed the more potent the soul, the better it is to be devour. So, maybe, it’ll be a good meal?
‘I believe it should attack me first.’ She thought for a moment, drawing the conclusion on that thought and had that been the case Nadežda could flank the creature. It had to be equal to or slightly greater, meaning it would be ideal to attack and devour her. Possibly, she had been thinking a bit too hard about. Or not hard enough. They aren’t like the hollows that tend to linger around the human world, they had sharper thoughts and instincts.
“Trusting you, Nadežda.” She said with an ease in tone. Oh yes, she was basically going to be the bait for this situation. It'll limit the possible injuries that could unfold. At least, in her mind. However, she was curious as to why help a hollow? Was it truly that trustworthy? Regardless, an ally is an ally. That was good enough reason as is.
It is my life, as the sand, that T R I C K L E S out.
Nadežda was quick to pick up upon the girl's gesture. So she had some experience in hunting in groups it seemed. Nadežda was colored impressed considering he hadn't seen many humans of this day and age who still hunted as they once did long in the past. Hiding his presence to the best of his ability, Nadežda dipped into the shadows behind. Out of sight of both the girl and the beast approaching, the old Hollow resumed his human appearance as he circled around to the right. He grew concerned for the girl but stifled the superficial emotions. Hindrances could not be tolerated when one was on the hunt. Perhaps the girl intended to pose as bait and lure the beast out once he'd flanked its position. A good strategy. One which could prove magnificently successful should everything go as planned. By all accounts the creature could assume Nadežda had left the girl to her own devices. Though in truth he'd intended to circle around and attempt to get a spotting on this potential opponent of theirs.
He'd only nodded slightly as he left Sae open and exposed to this creature. But gauging it's capacity required a little more than simply knowing the feeling of its spiritual pressure. Was it an Unclassified? Gillian? Or perhaps even an Adjuchas like himself? If it were Adjuchas and hiding its true presence from them then this encounter could become dangerous for Sae very quickly if they were not careful. Despite being a Hollow himself, Nadežda would not allow a human, one he'd quickly grown to respect, to see him as anything but trustworthy. She would perform her part, He would perform his. Together they would swiftly bring down this quarry before it dealt any real harm to either of them.
Awaiting the moment, her actions kept themselves causal and her preparation was steady with timed thought. Naturally, she should’ve found herself concerned on this opposing hollow and the possibly abandonment of Nadežda, who disappeared from her senses, however, she was quite fine to know that that wolf had the ability to hide itself, if she was fooled, the opponent should be as well. The moment Nadežda faded from her sensory, with a few extra seconds added, she sprung into her own action before the creature collected on reasonable thought on what was going on. Leaning forward with rise of her foot, she darted forward without anymore thought to what she was going to do. It was a simple plan.
“‘Ello Chopstick.” As those two words escaped her mouth, the chopstick she heard within her exploded into silvery strings and ribbons, coiling and curling into a sword held a hundred and ten centimeters in length. It’s appearance was in common with the blade of a rapier, however, it was double edged, it was simply thin and slim. In another fashion to this, radiating from her body, fiery petals motioned with the gentle scent of lilies and their bloom scattered into fading in vanish upon her haste forward with a single loose string held to glisten in her place of transformation; connecting to her hilt and to the ground, hiding itself beneath the sand. However, not everything was as simple as it ever seemed.
There was… Always… Complications…
Growling within the distance, the creature displayed hostility and flared a pressure in place of anything else. Was it a dog or…? Why was it not attacking, it felt stronger than her and for a moment with her breaking from the trees into its range, the closing distance allowed her to catch something. Narrowing those crimson hues, the tickle to her nose was appealing in the purest scent to it and it was ‘blood’ that tickled. The creature in question seemed to be missing its front leg, its torso was wounded and it was forced into a knelt position, it couldn’t attack her even if it wanted to by the look of it, however, it wasn’t until she became in full sight, out of any and all forms of cover, and within close distance of this creature that she began to falter… Because she noticed… That was bait. Despite her recklessness, she had a plan and for some reason, she… didn’t use it just yet?
Extending her hand to the creature in recovery to her poor choice, with the redirection of her sword, she brushed the forehead of the canine like creature, she felt the sink of teeth held too sharp for words and even a hostile set of words, however, she noticed something. When the creature chose to growl at her, it was not directing anything towards her, but its hostility to its right, within the thick darkness where equal ruby hues showed themselves and with the plant of her foot to the sand, the sliding halt she attempted to cease her advancement was too late.
Ripping through the trees with brute strength of a whip or some type of limb, three or four trees fell with the arch of this forceful waved aim at what seemed to be a fresh Adjuchas and Sayuri. On the time with the breaking of these trees, she spoke. “Escape.” She mouthed with an exhale of pain. To anything in sight, possibly to Nadežda, the two would’ve appeared to be hit by this wave with the hollow revealing itself by destroying its cover. However, there was no blood and no bodies, it seemed the two, Sayuri and the Adjuchas simply vanished and caused quite the confusion for the creature, who didn’t seem to notice that Nadežda was flanking, however with annoyance developing, the hollow growled with a release of its pressure and would’ve just as easily revealed itself to Nadežda. The hollow could sense the two now, but not Nadežda.
Meanwhile, a few meters away from this horrible situation that could’ve killed Sayuri, the Adjuchas and Sayuri appeared a good forty feet in the direction she came from. Attempting to remove the Adjuchas’ grip on her hand, she dropped her sword with her hand pitching its nose. Kneeling on level with the Adjuchas, she tried to be gentle… Did hollows need to breathe? “Release.” She said with a calmness, an unusual one at that. Could it even understand her? “... You.. are asleep..” She said listless, this creature had passed out with a solid locking jaw to her hand. It seemed to scared or desperate to live, considering it passed out..? From... Fear? Guess she was somewhat lucky?
Hearing the growl within the distance, their resurface catching the hollow’s attention, as she could feel the creature casting its gaze to the trees she hid behind. “...” This was not an ideal situation, Nadežda was going to help, right?

It is my life, as the sand, that T R I C K L E S out.
He'd circled around the target Hollow, even as Sae approached and ended up entangled by the beast's jaw. Strangely, and despite the obvious actions of the one Sae engaged, the Hollow didn't seem to act in any other way. In fact its presence seemed diminished. Had it fallen unconscious somehow? Nadežda decided to lay in wait since Sae's immediate harm was limited to just being stuck in the young adjuchas' mouth. Something about this setup seemed off... Sure he'd have reacted immediately had the other Hollow decided to do more than bite. But it seemed the goal was different. It bit but didn't chew. Held on but didn't attempt to drag away it's meal. Cunning. This was a trap...! Nadežda immediately focused his senses. Something out there had forced this Hollow into submission and seemed to be using it as bait for its own purposes. To think there were Hollow that actually used their own kind like this instead of just eating them outright...
It didn't take long for the hidden one to reveal itself, cutting down trees in it's announcement. Nadežda tensed, Still in his illusion of a human form. He watched as the human girl managed to avoid getting cut in two, even taking the other Hollow with her somehow. A peculiar ability, one he'd have to ask about later on once this conflict became resolved. Sae and the injured Adjuchas were closer now. Stood effectively between himself and the newly revealed Hollow, which also appeared to be an aged Adjuchas. Still... Nadežda seemed to hold onto the element of surprise. If this new one didn't know where he was or even if Nadežda was present at all, then the next moments would be crucial to dealing with the threat efficiently.
He had a clear line of sight. Deadly still and observant, his illusion hiding his otherwise large frame behind the trees. Some thirty feet behind Sae's own position. Nadežda could see the offending Hollow. Watched as it gauged it's target. It stared not at Nadežda, but towards Sae and the attached Adjuchas. So it's aim was to feast upon a human? This would be no pushover either given the critically injured state of the Hollow gripping Sae... He could attack from this distance. Could catch the hollow off guard. If he were a regular Hollow, with normal Hollow instincts, Nadežda very well would have. But the resulting attack would have caught Sae up within it. Had he not cared one bit for human life, or had Sae not been where she was, one blast from Nadežda was all it would take to possibly take down the offending beast and catch himself a meal. But consideration for the Human, hollow as she felt, would be something the old Hollow would not overlook.
The monster roared. A clear and all too common indication among the confident that this Hollow would soon attack. And it did, charging straight for Sae's position. Nadežda crouched down, bracing his feet within the ground directly behind himself. Patiently anticipating the other Hollow's movements. A straight forward charge. Foolish. A hunter must never let down his guard lest there be others in wait to pick off the unsuspecting. It'd been smart to lay this trap, but that would be were the creature's intelligence ended. To think it wouldn't anticipate multiples being lured, a fatal mistake in judgement.
The beast leapt, its maw gaping as it sought to lay down it's form upon Sae and consume her. The creature's action never saw a return to the solid confines of the ground beneath. That was until Nadežda leapt, felling a tree in his wake as his form rushed forward at half the speed of a bala. The two collided, and though it would be for but an instant, Nadežda's illusion would be visible, giving way to his true form as the two Adjuchas came together, colliding just over Sae's head. The force of Nadežda's charge sent the opposing Hollow reeling backwards in the same direction it'd attacked from. Nadežda's full form flew with the hollow, pinning it to the ground twenty feet from where they'd collided together.
The hollow had no longer than time to look up at Nadežda before its features filled with terror. Already was Nadežda's, maw agape as he aimed down at the Offending Adjuchas' head. Dark swirling energy formed at the space between the old Hollow's jaws, filling the helpless Adjuchas with the presence of Nadežda's killing intent. It struggled but the old Hollow held firm as he charged the Cero to full strength before releasing it, point blank, directly into the Hollow's face.
Name: Darkfang Charge Class: Hollow Powers Tier: III Type: Supplementary Range: Self Description: By concentrating Reiatsu into his legs Nadezhda is able to launch himself forward at half-bala speed to catch an opponent up to 100 meters away. This ability can be used in tandem with Nadezhda's melee abilities for range purposes.
Name: Cero (Hollow Flash) Class: Cero/Bala Type: Offensive Range: 100 Meters Tier: IV Description: Are high-powered energy blasts that can be fired from various places on the body. Only Menos, Arrancar, and Vizard have so far been shown to use Cero attacks, and it appears that stronger entities can use it more efficiently.
Mm. Those sounds were not appealing or comforting in the slightest. Narrowing her hues to a close, the heaviest exhale found itself with the haste advancement of the hollow that she attempted to flee from and with her head tilting upward with the opening of her hues. She couldn’t panicked, she could’ve freaked out and she could’ve tried to do some type of attack, but she had faith and this faith showed in her reaction. There was no expressed fear, but a sense of confidence as those ruby hues belonging to the girl narrowed upon the beast that had leapt at her with a widened mouth. This hollow wanted to devour her, the Adjuchas too, whom hadn’t release her hand and kept a steady hold.
Was she supposed to be scared? Yes, and was she? No, she used her card instead of actually saving it to save herself from such an impossible situation and for what? A knocked out Adjuchas that hindered her ability to move, so she had no choice but to trust Nadežda, the hollow she woke up to meet and, she supposed, she truly did trust it. Had this been her normally, she wouldn’t have extended trust like this or accepted it so easily, but things were changing, a lot was changing and quite quick… Because, she didn’t want to die and now, she wasn’t accepting death or the fact, she was about to die.
Popping out of its hidden state, Nadežda attacked the hostile advancing hollow and saving her, along with the questionable Adjuchas, however, as her hues noticed Nadežda, it was another form, human and then, turning into a form she knew. She’ll question that a bit later, as what she did question or even comment to, was being quite lucky to be an ally to Nadežda for this moment as it dismembered the hollow. Quite literally, blowing it away with some sphere to the hollow’s face. Such an energy made Sayuri look away with her body turning to the Adjuchas and when she looked back to Nadežda, it’s whole head was gone.
Within a second or two, she wasn’t sure really what to say from the display, it was supposed to be terrifying, right? Was she to be scared of her own hollowfied ally? Granted, they just met. “I was concerned there…” She stated with a pause, her free handed moving to the Adjuchas’ nose, pitching it again. “For a moment.” It wasn’t distrust or anything, just a little concern for Nadežda.
It is my life, as the sand, that T R I C K L E S out.
"Surprises are to be expected here." Nadežda moved his gaze from the now headless Hollow below him to Sae. If his features had allowed, the old Hollow would be frowning right now. The unconscious hollow and Sae both appeared to be joined. A case of lockjaw was it? This was concerning. Had the hollow not been unconscious, the human's life likely would have ended by now... With his now headless meal secured, Nadežda moved over to the girl. "You appear to require some assistance. Judging by what I see this creature appears to be in a frozen state of shock. Come, lay down, I shall wrest this beast from your arm." Nadežda instructed, grasping the Hollow's neck in his jaw to better aid Sae in her efforts to lay down. Once both were properly positioned on the ground, Nadežda moved to the Hollow's side. Placing his large paws on the joint of the Hollow's jaw, he slowly began applying pressure until the teeth embedded within the girl's flesh became loosened and released. Once Sae was clear of the beast's jaw, Nadežda released the pressure he applied, causing its jaw to return to a closed state. "Best to avoid risks when stalking prey. Wouldn't want it getting up in the middle of everything." The old hollow spoke his words of wisdom to Sae before repositioning himself over the Hollow. With one swift movement, the old hollow's jaws encompassed the unconscious one's neck, locking, clamping, and efficiently crushing the life out of the already injured Hollow.
"Since there are two, I presume this one to be yours." Nadežda stated, after removing his teeth from the neck of the now dead hollow. He wasn't sure if humans were capable of eating Hollows but if Sae could use it for sustenance then he'd be somewhat impressed. Humans were typically the victims of a hollow's hunt. There were rarely ever any instances where a human would be in the hunter's position. Nadežda glanced to Sae's injury. He was certain she'd most likely be required to tend her wounds if she didn't have some ability to circumvent the encounter's injuries. Moving over to the first hollow he'd killed, Nadežda chose to partake. If Sae watched him eat, the state of her own stomach and hunger would be upon her. Eating was necessary and rarely did it ever involve anything sightly to behold.
“I know.” She replied, shaking her head a slight, she was almost humored for a moment and in another, she was tickled in a sense of glee. “That is why I had plan in place.” She stated with quite a bit of confidence, her hues directing themselves to Nadežda than the deceased hollow that was its pray and to which, her hues looked back to the Adjuchas. The hold to her hand wasn’t so hand now that its teeth found comfortable hooking into her flesh, with a clamp not made to shatter her hand, but to hold it, the only discomfort was the dug in teeth. The crimson that drained from her hand wasn’t too much, but a few drips here and there, painting the pale sand a red. Unlike anyone else, they would be panicking and freaking out, but Sayuri has had the pleasure of being crushed, stomped and bones being broken. This wasn’t frightening to her, even if it had been, the creature wasn’t in the least.
“A little bit.” Yes, she was in need of a little help. Being more towards gentle, she tried as much as she could. From wiggling her two fingers, the index and middle to activate some type of gag reflex to going as far as pitch the nose too. This creature was out cold and didn’t want to release in the slightest, but still, it wasn’t hostile and it didn’t seem hostile from the start… Just confused and scared really. Was that a thing? Hollows were feral beasts, but were Adjuchas more than that? Ugh, hollows were such a confusing thing to understand.
Doing as requested, carefully and consideration, she laid down in a way to make this process a little easier and with aid of Nadežda, she managed to wiggle her hand free from the adjuchas. Ceasing her thoughts on a time, she heard Nadežda say something. “Nadežda.” She said with haste, “No.” She commented. There was a lot of things Sayuri was and could be, but before Nadežda would’ve managed to do anything to that unconscious hollow, she launched forward placing her damaged hand upon the forehead of Nadežda, gently. Hoping to ease whatever desire to kill the creature.
“Look at it.” Her hues gestured to the adjuchas, which was beaten to hell, but slowly regrowing.. Some of its parts..? Aside of that, it seemed fresh, when she thought about it, its body seemed like it just freshly arose from a cocoon of some sort. No old tear and ware from any battles, aside from this one, and its body was really smooth and soft, not like Nadežda. “It is frightened to a state of being unconsciousness, and for some reason, it doesn’t sit well with me.” She stated with a softness to her tone, despite what happened to hand. In truth, she had a soft place for animals, to her, this was like a pitiful puppy. Ugh. Why was she like this, she asked herself.
It is my life, as the sand, that T R I C K L E S out.
Nadežda's closing jaws halted at the girl's touch upon his forehead. New trickles of blood appeared where the old Hollow's teeth had already punctured the unconscious Hollow's flesh. "It is unwise to think such a beast would let you be should you spare it so." He commented. Though his voice echoed as it usually did, the words passed his jaw despite its stillness. His eyes shifted from the hollow to Sae upon her statement, then back towards the hollow as if questioning what she judged. "Fear is a normal feeling for those who's lives are about to end..." Nadežda's voice seemed to question the girl's decision yet despite the old hollow's disinterest to letting the hollow go on living, he slowly released his jaws from the other Hollow's neck. There was something strangely familiar about the way this girl called him back. Instructed him not to slay the prey which lay before him. "It's been some time since I lived in your world." Nadežda's jaws, now fully released, He proceeded to stand over the unconscious Hollow, laying much of his weight upon its form to prevent its movement should it chance to awake. "And yet in some ways I cannot help but feel as if you remind me of someone..."
"Should this beast chance to harm you, do forgive me if then I waste no hesitation in putting it down..." Nadežda spoke kindly. It was strange but Sae really did remind him of his former life's master... Unfortunately what remained of his master now, was nothing more than a rampaging beast dead set against everything she'd once cherished in life...
Once Nadežda finished his meal he returned to Sae and the Hollow, which had yet to regain its consciousness. "Regardless of your interests in safeguarding this beast, It remains unwise to stay within its vicinity. Even when I grew into my Adjuchas form I savored many decades before chancing myself to returning to the world of the living. Even then the desire to consume humans with strength had been strong. It would be better not to let this creature see you as the first meal available to it in its newly realized form."
Ah. Nadežda seemed quite unpleased by the request, but yielded and then eased to her words. Removing her hand from the creature, she exhaled with a gentleness and a little relief too. “I understand the concern.” She admitted to Nadežda, who questioned her choice and did deserve a bit more reason to her choice. Why did she decide such a thing? Not even she really knew, it was just a feeling that caused her to judge or maybe, naturally, her normal self would’ve killed it and maybe, she was just doing the opposite of what her closed heart would’ve. Give something a chance? Maybe.
“I apologize.” She lowered her head to her hand, with a removal of her backpack, she opened it and pulled a paired of gloves out, putting them upon her hands much like a wrap. Her hand wasn’t that bad, in fact, her resistance in some form seemed to keep it from getting really bad, it was just feet stabbing into her skin really, nothing too bad. “I do not mean to abuse any emotions or memories within you.” She couldn’t help but feel a way, as Nadežda chose to devour his pray, Sayuri sat and stared upon the unconscious hollow with curiosity. Despite the reckless choice, she did have her wits about her in a way as her hues watched with a bit of interest. The unconscious hollow seemed to regenerate slowly, but surely.
The limbs were reforming, the wounds were closed and healed up. However, as Nadežda had been busy, Sayuri had took the honor of infecting the hollow with her Fullbring, her sword was gone and out of sight, and at this moment, was coursing around the body of the hollow, as a plan. After a moment, it seemed Nadežda rejoined her with concern. “It isn’t wise.” She admitted with a listless tone to Nadežda. “However. Trust me.” She stated with confidence, that confidence meant a plan and she had one, much like earlier. What was left of her blade was a liquid seven inch knife.
“It is waking up.” She moved to sit upon her knees, with offering the creature four feet of distance and space, personal space to be fair.
It is my life, as the sand, that T R I C K L E S out.
"There is no need to worry about abusing emotions. As I have aged, so too have the memories which I carry. Those most precious to me have been carefully remembered. They, in essence, are what keep me as I am." Though it was delayed in lieu of his meal, Nadežda responded, rejoining Sae near the Hollow she looked over. "There is little need to take risks here." Nadežda noted, his eyes flashed and the waking hollow became paralyzed. Moving it's body now would be impossible for a short period as Nadežda's gaze pierced the Hollow. "Reason with it if you believe it to be the correct method. But understand that even reasonable Hollow still retain the capacity to be malicious." He spoke of course about the creature waking before them, though Nadežda hinted to himself as well. There had been such a long time wherein his own reasoning would never have been swayed. Few, if any Hollow, were like Nadežda. The past millennia living in Hueco Mundo had shown this fact to be true.
The old hollow sat, separated by mere feet of space, close enough to react should the hollow prove incapable of being reasoned with. Sae would be the first thing this beast would see. And out of its peripherals? Nadežda of course. He'd remain as the deterrent to any aggression the recovered Hollow may press forward with. But Sae had some time to make the beast see reason before the affects of Nadežda's ability wore off...
Name: Force Gaze Class: Hollow Techniques Tier: IV Type: Binding Range: 0-100 Description: In fights garnering more than one opponent, Nadezhda has found it far easier to deal with enemies by completely restricting the actions of those extra targets, enabling him to deal with threats in turn rather than all at once. Nadezhda's eyes flash with a brilliant purple glow as he focuses his Reiatsu into a target opponent at Cero speed. The opponent becomes Stunned for up to 5 rounds based on rank and advantages. Tier strength of the bind is based on how close the target was upon activation of this ability, maintaining Tier IV up to a distance of 30 meters and diminishing by I every 10 meters thereafter to a minimum strength of Tier I.
Hm. Hollows were supposed to lack consideration and heart, however Nadežda had a good trait within them and when she thought about it. Does the characteristics of a hollow define their personality, as much as she wanted to test this on Nadežda, it needed some aspect of respect as it was not a pet, but a proud creature in some aspect… Didn’t mean she chose to see it as that, more like a human as a beast, which was going to become her pet in some way. In such a thought with characteristics, shape and appearance, of the form of an adjuchas was based on individuality and their own traits, she could possibly know what to look for… To increase her own survival right? With that, it would prove to be different and quite difficult if she was not careful. This creature within its weakened state had the ability to self repair its limbs, and despite infesting the creature, she was not too sure on her plan, but held enough confidence.
“I understand.” She replied to Nadežda, her voice lowered itself to a gentle manner and for a moment, she seemed to be readying herself to speak either with compassion or something sweet. Upon the awakening creature, that Nadežda did the honors was keeping in place, it did not like that, developing from its throat, it growled to the two, Nadežda and Sayuri, to which, she was not fazed in the slightest. The glistening golden hues of this creature did not reflect too much hostility, more so than a natural response and with that, she decided to speak. “Hello.” As that word left her mouth, the creature turned its hues to Sayuri, as it was been looking towards Nadežda more than her. “You are within a state of weakness, with such a state, you are food to...” She looked to Nadežda, “Nadežda and myself, Sae.” She lifted her hand to her chest, explaining its situation with ease and introduction.
“Along with everything in this forest.” She added, gesturing to the forest and for a creature that was growling in defense, it lowered its tone with consideration on its actions for a moment. Almost as if it was trying to reason on what to do, how to escape or who to attack. “Yo--” As the hollow in question attempted to speak, without a doubt to say something rude or hostile, that would either make Nadežda attack it or worse. However, Sayuri inched closer, taking her index finger and quite literally, flicking the hollow on the nose and cutting it off. “I am still talking. And you will do well to listen.” She stated with listlessness. The flick did nothing to the creature outside of confuse it to some degree, honest confusion.
“You will not be told, but you are behind too.” She moved back into trailing, this is where she was playing a dangerous game and to prove a point with her head lowering to look upon the hollow with an inch between their face. There has been quite a few things Sayuri had the honor of knowing, some things were from books, others were through mouth and others were from experience. Along with assumptions, which is what she was doing assuming and abusing it to points, she was not too true of being right or wrong. “Due to being too weak. You are going to go through regressing, reversed evolution and you will have zero ability to regain individuality. So. Do you want to be food or do you desire to be something beyond this?” She questioned, the question was simple and she didn’t need to say what was required.
For a second or five, there was a silence and a stare between the two of them. Without so much as a word or hint to it, lifting herself up from the hollow, that growled in some form of hostility or annoyance, she looked to Nadežda with a wave of her hand. “We can go now.” She said with a slight smile, almost like won something. Turning on her heels, she began to walk as soon as Nadežda chose to come with. She did not gesture to kill the hollow, she more so gestured to go away from it as if she was no longer concerned.
It is my life, as the sand, that T R I C K L E S out.
He observed, cautious as a hunter possessed of prey he couldn't be certain with. Nadežda and the hollow stared at one another. The old Hollow's hues swirled with a seemingly chaotic focus as if to tell the subjugated hollow that he wouldn't hesitate should it decide to try something hostile against Sae. It looked to the girl when she spoke, Nadežda held his eyes to the creature. Still as a predator ready to leap in at an instant's notice. Quiet and calm, focused on the Hollow, but listening and watching carefully for anything else within the forest which might pose a threat to them. Humans that eat Hollows. It was a strange concept, even to Nadežda. Yet Sae's words to the immobilized Hollow seemed to suggest as much. A generalization it seemed. It Indicated the whole of this world's existence. In truth everything was food. Even those stronger than Nadežda himself could become his sustenance if he so desired.
The hollow spoke, or attempted to speak but seemed to reconsider its words. Were it for Nadežda's own gaze, or perhaps the words of Sae. The old hollow couldn't tell, but it stood to reason this creature before them wasn't stupid. It seemed to at least know when to back down. Maybe it was only due to the differences in their strengths, but this hollow did seem to see a chance for survival, to continue living, and perchance it would take upon this offer.
Sae's proximity worried Nadežda. Even as fast as he could be, despite the hollow's currently paralyzed state... For her to get that close could still be considered dangerous. The old hollow stood. Preparing himself in case anything should happen. He didn't show weakness. Showed only that he would act should the opponent choose to lay down harm upon the girl. The flick from Sae to the hollow put Nadežda off. Perhaps he'd underestimated her strengths? No, if she'd been strong enough, the beast's fangs never would have pierced her flesh. A bluff perhaps? Yet Nadežda could feel no fear from the girl... What did this girl see within the hollow? Was it something he could not see perhaps?
The words Sae spoke were true. The freshly Adjuchas hadn't yet partaken of any meals since evolving, having been overtaken by a stronger Adjuchas nearly immediately and before it'd even had a chance. The beast standing behind this girl was no ordinary Adjuchas either from what it could tell. To paralyze him with but a glance... It was rather frightening, yet he could hold some respect for Nadežda's patience. To live in this situation meant leaving them alone. Was this an option even allotted to him at this point? He couldn't sense the Hollow that'd attacked him anymore save for the vague residue of its presence upon Nadežda. He'd eaten it already...!? Yet the large wolf-like Hollow yielded to this girl's voice. Why?
He moved...! Yes he moved! So the spell the old hollow cast upon him didn't last too long. Just long enough for him to consider the consequences of engagement... He could sense the tension building in the old hollow's presence. A threat to him should he act out aggressively. "..." Sae and Nadežda seemed to have understanding with each other. Though he was wary of Nadežda, his lack of aggression meant something... The girl's own behavior, strangely bold yet... understanding his own nature? Survival was key but most hollows preferred to be alone for fear of turning on one another in an effort to stave off regression. Staying together often meant an increased need to hunt...
They were going to leave him alone? "I... would it be alright for me to... accompany you... ?" He spoke the question. Strange as it might have seemed for a hollow such as him to say. He didn't want to be left alone, not now, not again. His whole reason for becoming a hollow had been due to abandonment, betrayed and shut out by people he'd trusted. Yet these two seemed to care, even giving him a chance to live on despite what he was. Maybe in time he could view these two as allies in this otherwise cutthroat world.
Nadežda paused and glanced back at the hollow. He hadn't expected anything good to come out of this creature, yet it was asking to join them? The old hollow looked to Sae. Her safety could only be at risk by accepting more Hollows to her side. But he, a Wolf, a beast that'd been denied his pack in life, had become accustomed to human interactions before becoming subjected to a life of solitude for over a thousand years... He wouldn't push for such a nature to be shoved upon Sae. This would be her decision. And he would respect it.
These assumptions formulated from a based concept or a collection proven factual information she had to test, along with what she recalled from her own experimentation. It did not matter too much between a hollow and a Fullbringer, the differences were too great, but something was slowly emerging from these situations and the result of them. It was not compassion, there was no love and it was not consideration. Had a human become a hollow, husk of themselves, at some point, there had to be a surface of a being or they’d be consumed… Internally? A lesser Menos was a husk with no individuality, thus an adjuchas was a creature attempting to find its own individuality. Something more than a feral beast, but not that far off, after all, they are survivors at base with their instinct.
Within the depth of her heart, something smiled with the thought and it was not pure in nature. Anything could be reasoned with so long as their survival was secured, if they were fresh, it could be as easy as taking a baby. This was used on her many years ago, so… She was curious. Though, it was not pure curiosity. Though, what would happen if, she too, slipped into regression? It was not anything like that of a hollowified creature, but there was something that she wanted to get rid of… Her thoughts were becoming dangerous, a bit too dangerous to that.
With gesture to Nadežda, it seemed the two were ready to leave and the girl had nothing else to say on the matter, however, as she began to step, she heard something. “Hm?” She heard the request, the question and it wasn’t shock. Turning on her heel, she looked to Nadežda and than back to the adjuchas. Without much thought to it, she motioned to the adjuchas, getting closer once again, in a casual pace. So. It wanted to join them? Without much context to what she was doing, she lowered herself on level with the creature. “Open your mouth.” She said, not orderly or anything, rather gentle for a moment. It would be enough to cause confusion to both the creature and Nadežda. There was no hostility or anything, no sign of threaten either. Possibly, this was a trust factor or test?
However, had the creature opened its mouth…?
Well, with her other hand in her bag, she would’ve pulled out a sphere of sorts covered in a cloth and with the cloth uncoiling, revealing a lit shape, this shape was the size of a softball and was forced into the adjuchas’ mouth before a question could’ve even appeared. What was it? A soul. What kind? Well. A soul was a soul. So. The creature shouldn’t worry about regression just yet. “If you are good. Yes.” She stated with the removal of her hand from near the creature. “Do not mistake my kindness for a weakness.” She also added. She was not repeating that mistake here.
Possibly, canine hollows were more sound in groups, but too many would pose an issues? Possibly, if she could keep secure and them secure, she would have a better chance. That was her thought, but a deeper reason had yet to reveal itself. Was there one? Well. She seemed nice. It was also to note, if she desired, she could kill this creature at any point, so long as it kept within range and that is what mattered most. “Your thought, Nadežda?” She questioned them too. Consideration at best.

A strange request, responded to in kind with a strange gesture. It wasn't part of Nadežda's custom to question the acts of others. Individuals all had vastly differing methods, ideologies, and histories. He observed as Sae pulled something out of her bag. It seemed to be a weakened soul. How had she managed to obtain one in that form? Nadežda contemplated the possibilities to himself quietly while observing. The next step, Nadežda would not have advised. Sticking her hand willingly back into the same hollow which had once already bitten down upon her. This girl was indeed a strange one. Even stranger still were the similarities to her and his former master. She'd been an unusually forgiving person in life, even to those who'd sought to harm her. Had she not been consumed by remembering only her hatreds, Nadežda likely would have already reunited with her...
As the beast did nothing to raise tension to the situation, Nadežda simply chose to observe. If it wanted to join them, so be it. But Nadežda would refuse to be the Hollow's keeper. Turning around when addressed, the old hollow walked over to the other two and stat momentarily upon his hind quarters. "I've no issues with this arrangement so long as the young one intends to remain beneficial to our permitting him into the group." Nadežda's words indicated the hollow before them, though in Nadežda's eyes both were significantly younger by age lest one or the other give him reason to think otherwise. So they were human souls... No matter, so long as Sae had good reason to carry such things around with her, Nadežda would have no reason to ask about it. Were she to offer him one he would politely refuse. He'd never consumed a human soul before and saw no reason to begin such a trend.
Mm. It was not excitement that developed, it was something more interesting and for a moment, she felt a gentle slip into another nature. Her bright smile turned quite devilish with a darkness at the result to her actions, there was no pain for offering her allies as fuel for a hollow she just meant, a hollow that submitted for some reason and wanted to join a pack. If she did not wish to pretend to belong in a world that could not accept her, could she pretend long enough to make a world where she could belong? Respectively, she did not belong within such a place with not the slightest idea to why she decided to linger, but there was something in this isolation and desolation. That was a dangerous thought, with the shift of her hues, she buried the thought, locking it away. Nonetheless, she’ll find what she lost. At whatever price.
There was not going to be a repeat.
She did not want to speak too soon, but it seemed step one was rather easy. Securing an ally, gaining trust or at least, something reliable was good. It was going to be every other step after that was going to be tricky, but at least surviving seemed good from her standpoint. Nadežda was understanding, supportive in a way too and speaking of the hollow, she turned to look upon it with her expression returning to neutral as the creature spoke up. She was unsure if Nadežda took it as a joke or possibly, her not being serious on warning the unnamed hollow about his place, to which, she did not have to be tolerant or rather, she did feel incline to be tolerant, so she wouldn’t. She may have seemed it, but there was more to her nature than she appeared and that much she did not give off.
“Well.” She turned her head back to the unnamed hollow, her hues narrowing for a moment as the cloth was stuffed back into her bag, where two more souls remained, tightly concerned and wrapped, not easily felt or sensed in the slightest. “Let us see.” She moved to a stand, her arms crossing over her chest and for a moment, it was like having a pet of her own, which was a rare sensation she ever got. “I do not believe you have a name. Soooo.” She uncrossed her arms with the cant of her head. “I shall name you, Khlōros. Unless that is an issue?” She suggested.
Once this had all be done and adjusted, the three of them would’ve been wandering the forest for a little bit until, well, they came across trees that were knocked, broken in half and with droplets of blood. Easily, her blood for the most part, dried and upon these knocked trees. However, easily a blessing to how she was still alive and with a bit of walking to the center of this, where it was an open area where more dried blood painted the sand, she began walking in a circle for the most part. “Mm.” She paused for a moment with her left hand extending, she buried around them around here somewhere.
Motioning her hand, the sand began to part to her will. A pure example of soul communication as she look through the sand. Around a foot deep, she paused with a narrow of her hues. How deep did she bury them? After a thought, about five feet deep, three bodies wrapped in cloth found themselves being revealed. It was covered in blood, that had dried within the time she left it, but they were still quite fresh, not even a full day old, she supposed. “You two may want to look away now.” She suggested. One of the bodies were half consumed, but she could be the thanks of that.

Named. Interesting. Nadežda looked to the other, now named hollow. This Sae was gifted, to give two names in such a short period of time. Names were good things from Nadežda's experience. Not having one meant a lot of strange nicknames coming from people he likely wouldn't ever meet again. At least now he could appropriately inform people of the name he'd accepted from Sae. From his understandings of human languages, "Nadežda" had a good tone to it. In many ways it was fitting. The fresh Adjuchas now had a name as well, something Nadežda could use if he needed to when addressing the other hollow.
They wandered. How long they searched for was lost within the shadows of the forest but eventually they stopped in a place where harsh struggles had obviously taken place recently. Nadežda Stood aside, suggesting the other Hollow, now Khlōros, do the same. He observed the young girl pacing the area, as if searching for somewhere to start. Deciding upon a location, Khlōros watched Sae reach her arm out. The sand, seemingly responding to her motion, flowed as if pushed by an unnoticeable wind. "You have quite the power there young Sae. I think I've gathered now an inkling as to why you now are possessed of this land." It made much more sense to Nadežda now. This girl was possessed of the fullbring variety. Though they were rare even to a Hollow as old as he, Nadežda had seen a fair few fullbringers in his time. Each one was different. Each one capable of harnessing unusual gifts. Sae would be no different in this regard.
He offered the girl respect in her request to avert their gaze. Until you are ready." Nadežda nodded, then addressed Khlōros, instructing him to look away as well. Though it never bothered Nadežda to observe another's eating habits, he would permit himself to look away out of respect for Sae as she proceeded to dine upon the unburdened bodies. Despite not keeping his eyes upon her, Nadežda would remain steadfast in his capacity to search out with his senses, would be threats that might choose a time like this to attack.
Unique. Her diet had always been unique in some shape or form, in all simple sense, she was a carnivore and as one, her diet was always meat at the core. Her tastes were rather particular and fastidious, and not in the way it appeared. In her young years, she had a taste for raw meat, it did not have to be cooked and this meat did not have to be that from a cow, it could’ve easily been a human being. The subjugation under the ruling Russians for the human-trafficking ring forced her into cannibalism, something she grew into easily and simply, it was with The Mare and the freedom from this environment of human-trafficking, that her tastes were frowned upon and not for the reason someone would thing. It was a little funny, it was painful for her brother, but he never judged and simply tried to help her. Nonetheless, upon his death and her joining, she became reeducated and quite domesticated in the safety of a hospital. With this reflection, the details were too blurry to even account much, both saddening and happiness in these memories were much like looking through a foggy window; impossible to see anything.
However. Instincts were instincts and they were not simple fantasies, but realities she may have forgotten to some degree. Within the human world, it would’ve caused so much concern and alarm, but here, it didn’t seem to matter. “It is Soul Communication.” She stated to Nadežda, pulling at the cloth that bound the bodies together. “It is one of the few things I am decent at.” She almost smiled at the thought. It was the first thing she learned, her brother helped her a bit and sometimes, they would play in the rain honing the ability, those were fun and bitter times too.
It was with respect without any form of judgement that Nadežda looked away, her hues wandered to Khlōros, whom she offered a comforting smile to, or tried to. She didn’t really smile, but when she did it was interesting, because all it could do was brighten the features of her face. Once they were turnt, the sounds of those with keen ears could hear the resounding cutting, pulling and ripping of flesh, even the droplets of blood, which was a scent that painted the air with the passage of time. Had one of those decided to peek, Sayuri had her teeth ripping through the flesh and blood staining the sand. Her feeding lasted no longer than two minutes. The next minute was cutting, breaking of bone and ripping, trailing her Fullbring as a knife across the body, she severed meat and peeled skin, from the arms and torsos, wrapped them greatly, it was enough for a few days.
With her abilities to change the density of things, she made the cloth that held this meat as solid as stone and in the shape of a box, putting it in her back for later consumption. It also hide the smell of blood too, along with keeping it fresh for longer. “Done.” She spoke out. By the time they could’ve or would’ve turned around, she was shattering flesh, blood and remains around, with the bodies covered for whatever left. This was more so to cover something, or feed whatever was lurking? It was interesting, but it would leave them to escape as need be. This time, she did not bury the bodies. It was bad to return to a place more than twice, she’d die the third time. Nonetheless, after such, she cleaned off her hands. Her clothes were clean, her lips were a bit more red than normal, but she didn’t smell.
“Sorry about that.” She said, it was not guilt, but it must’ve been a little awkward or something. “Anywho.” She began to walk over to Khlōros and Nadežda, looking to Nadežda. As her mouth dared to part, her teeth were significantly sharper and pronounced compared to any other humans, between that of a feline and canine, however, they were retracking in some way. Hiding themselves. “Where to next?” She asked, moving in the walking direction to leave before something found them.

"It is good to have useful skills." Nadežda agreed with Sae's response. What the girl did was not unlike some humans he'd observed in the past. "I've heard of such before, this Soul Communication that some humans seem to be capable of. Seems it stems from a form of contact with Hollows. Not yours perhaps, but another of your bloodline before you." Nadežda didn't delve any further into his knowledge of the subject with Sae. If she wanted to talk about her being a Fullbringer he'd leave it up to her to decide. But it sat better with Nadežda knowing that the young girl at least had a purpose for being in Hueco Mundo. Humans of her particular capabilities often seemed, drawn to this place.
If there's anything that can be taken away from the sounds the girl made as she consumed her meal, it would be the stark lack of differences from any other creature one might consume. Despite the corpses being human, the rhythm of eating one's meal was still the same. The natural state of a predator and her hunting methods might disturb the typical human no matter what kind of creature it was they observed. Humans remained an oddly civil race, daintily preparing their foods with herbs, spices, pieces of fruits and vegetables... One would not find the time for such luxuries within Hueco Mundo. Sometimes even he had to be quick and eat fast lest some group of scavengers attempt to steal his kill. Spiffing up food was not a custom Nadežda had ever embraced, though even his master had been one to at least cook her meats before eating them. Admittedly Nadežda did find the food to taste better once burned upon a fire or boiled in water.
"You apologize for eating and consuming sustenance?" If anything about the situation confused Nadežda, it was why the girl thought it was necessary to apologize for the basic right every creature had to eat and sustain one's own being. "Birds eat worms, Wolves eat deer, Hollows eat Hollows and sometimes humans too. Even some of your world's own creatures are known to eat each other either on occasion or by design. I see no need for you to apologize young Sae." Nadežda rejoined the girl by her side now that she had filled her stomach. "As for where we might go, I've no real preference. After a thousand years of roaming I prefer to wander the sands, biding my time between meals." The old Hollow looked around the area, less in search of enemies and more to scout out an easy path that they might take. "I chanced upon Las Noches once... I'd Intended to deliver a warning to another young human like yourself. I'm not entirely certain why she would choose to take up residence in a place full of Arrancar, but I'd advise staying clear of that place if you intend to keep your life about you."
"This way seems clear enough." Nadežda motioned in a direction which led slightly deeper into the forest. He had no real aim, but if it was a direction the girl wanted then he'd at least suggest it.

Ah. The process of producing a child like her, with said abilities to unfold and knowing the hollow who did it… She choked on her bitterness and kept her calm with a slight boil to her blood with the reminder. Such bitterness and boil did not hinder her ability to eat, it did not change the pace or anything to that matter, but she did reflect quite heavily upon those words. This reflection would rather find itself aimed in Nadežda’s direction for enlightenment. After shattering the fleshy bits of the human remains, she took sand to her hands to clean the blood and to such, used soul communication as a means to clean her hands. Nadežda had been an interesting one, for someone that witnessed human life and their habits to devour animals, there was still it did not understand, but at the same time, understood quite well.
“Cannibalism to humans is frown upon. It is monstrous and inhuman. Committing such an act is illegal through thousands of suppressive laws. To those places without law or individuals who take part within such cannibalism cannot change how the whole world of the living views their rights and wrongs. Humans are bred now to see this as a sin, a wrong or immoral. It has been this way for hundreds of years.” She explained, almost repeating these words from an individual that taught her the basis of human living and human society. It could and would not slip that Sayuri committed this act with ease, as if she was bred on the fact cannibalism was an action to advance her survival. Even with the slightest bit of hunger would rather her to commit this act, while other humans would wait days or a week before they would commit. “At a truly young age, within the darkest corner of the abyss. The first meat after days of being left to this darkness, I was given was a human arm. Thus. The act of cannibalism is much the same to me as eating a steak.” She stated quite clear, it would’ve been weird to say these things and she’d never admit them to anyone, but it was a hollow so possibly Nadežda could understand. Khlōros too. He seemed to be doing well with sticking with the movement, following by Nadežda and even listening to Sayuri. “Instinct at best. This instinct had been suppressed to aid my reintegration into society through medication and a lot of therapy. Thus. I…” She paused for a second, her hues narrowing with the lower of her head and for a moment, she thought about it.. And dismissed it as quickly as she could. It was not fast enough to hide the frown that painted her face or hide the sadness she felt when comparing herself to the normal person.
“It is why I apologize.” She spoke up with her hand extending to Nadežda and offering a gentle pat to the top of its head, to the mask and to its ears this pat found itself, as she passed. “These instinctive tendencies are worsened or brought up by my own suffering, or through my fullbring, when on a medication it is manageable and suppressed with ease. However, with the absence of medication and through the process called ‘withdraw’. I will experience truly aggressive tendencies, but I am fine for now.” She admitted without much hindrance, however she moved on in the topic to her abilities.
“To the same with this medication, messing a timed dose, even by an hour with cause someone to become feral and more so worse when using fullbring due to influence. It was due to this, that I went on a feral rampage and tried to devour a hollow. This is where it can all tie in.” She turned on her heels to walk in the direction that will leave this accursed forest, which was here she was beat halfway to death of not, to death’s door. “It is my mother that allotted these powers between my brother, Kuroyuri and I. I have met hollowing father of these powers too. However, this hollow father consumed my brother and holds his soul, and it was I, who witnessed and could not do anything, as Kuroyuri chose to save me.” She paused for a moment, turning to look to the depth of the forest with her hues narrowing with a crimson glisten. Her head and body looking to the deeper bit of the forest that Nadežda chose to point out, she would rather not stay within this accursed forest. Shaking her head for a moment, she didn’t trail into anymore words on that and she didn’t want to full on remember either. It was not because she saw something, it was more on what has happened here and not wanting to be caught in the same area.
Somewhere, she got lost between thought and conversation, because on one hand, she was listening to Nadežda and the while speaking to cheer herself up. “It is a bit humorous too. This guy tasted so nice, but I truly didn’t want to eat him. Hell. I don’t even think I could’ve...” Despite the depressive conversation she was throwing around, which was a good understanding from her for Nadežda and Khlōros. She smiled just a little bit. Had she truly found on something that ‘insignificant’. Sadly, it wasn’t such as it truly made her feel a special way, from the food and their long aggressive session, that did not need anymore detail to that. “These instinctive tendencies allowed me to experience something that I would never do on my own accord. And. It was rather nice in spite of the differences. Unbelievably nice. Nonetheless. As sweet to the thought, it bitters at the truth and all chances were missed. But.. ” Had she been listening to herself at this point, she more than likely would’ve paused and ceased right there, but she kept going because it felt nice to admit these things. However, she had to be listening to some degree as she modified her words. “If I saw him again. I’d do it again.” she said with her tone going lower into a whisper to say ‘Even though, it was a trap that will lead me into a spiral downfall in terms of work. It was fun.’.
Lifting her arms above her head with her forearms resting upon the top of her head, she exhaled heavily. And this murmuring fell into a ‘I'd like to do it again. Though... I doubt anyone would or could want anything from something as difficult or as broken as me. And It was a one night stand, no matter how nice he was...’ Dropping her hands back to her sides, she looked over to Nadežda. “Las Noches?” She questioned the pronunciation more than anything, “Hm. I can keep this in mind.”
After a bit of walking, they would find themselves leaving the forest without much happening to them and funny enough, using the same path they came in on. Which was something Sayuri made much note of to ensure she did not get lost, backtracking was one of her good things. As the sun kissed them, it was late morning and there was a lot of sun left to use. “We should keep walking the sand for awhile, then I can make an underground sand den?” She suggested
It is my life, as the sand, that T R I C K L E S out.
"And yet humans who become Hollows are forced to embrace cannibalism by eating other Hollow in order to sustain themselves and survive here in Hueco Mundo. A peculiar change in status wouldn't you think?" Nadežda noted. The peculiarities of the human species never ceased to amaze the old Hollow. They, like all other animals, were possessed of instincts. Yet for some reason most humans sought to hide or hinder themselves from expressing these innate parts of their very being. It was far different from when he'd been alive. His master often embraced her instincts while they chose to live separated from her people. Fight or flight, eat whenever possible. These were normal human interactions. Humans of the present era seemed to almost be too reliant upon one another, which led to some becoming a skewed form of prey for the predators that chose to take advantage of their fellow human's weaknesses.
"I find humans of this day and age quite intriguing. Most have abandoned their baser animal instincts in favor of being serviced or taken advantage of by other humans. While I do find such a behavior to be quite unbecoming, it seems to work to their favor in a lot of ways." It wasn't like Nadežda didn't understand the human mentality. It held a lot of reasonable justices. Suppressing their more feral instincts, Humans had come together in large societies in order to work together and build a seemingly world wide community of sorts.
Nadežda remained silent at Sae's justification for her apology. He understood, or at least thought himself to be understanding of her reasons as he allowed the human's hands the freedom to run across his mask and behind his ears. "These medications... by your account they seem to alter one's reasoning." Nadežda fell in line next to Sae when she chose a path leading out of the forest rather than choosing the direction he'd picked out for them. It mattered little which direction they chose to head in. Either way he accompanied the young human girl along with a newfound Hollow who seemed content to follow along with them as they traveled.
"Sustenance is a requirement for our being... As much as some of us would like to deny it, a form of hunger is inevitable in all things living or otherwise. I resisted my instincts after my master's passing. Foolish as it seems now that I think back on it, I chose to remain at her side. And for several days I spent my time defending a corpse both from scavengers, and the creatures I eventually came to know as Hollow... I denied the instincts begging me to maintain my own survival and suffered starvation and hollowfication as a result..." Nadežda's echoing voice shared his sadness with the girl. "Yet despite what happened to me, I would not choose to change these results." He agreed with Sae. Changing the results of one's actions was a whimsical idea, one he didn't see any real need to change even if the chance to do things over again had appeared to him.
"Yes. Las Noches. It's hard to miss as it is a large structure which towers over the sands. One can see it from miles away, long before even making out the creatures which reside there. Approach for anything even remotely Hollow is likely neigh suicidal." Nadeždathought back on his actions. It truly had been idiotic to approach such a place to warn but a single human about his master's presence in Hueco Mundo...
Once the forest was left far behind them, Nadežda decided, with the presence of another adjuchas in their midst, that his own large and threatening presence wasn't quite as necessary. With this in mind, Nadežda chose to assume his illusory pseudo-human form and walk beside Sae without the need to look down upon her, but rather level with her as an individual of relatively equal height. "An underground den sounds like a substantial plan. Hidden from others, a lower dwelling is less likely for others to come across when compared to a dwelling made above the sands." He stated, folding his now human arms behind his head in much the same fashion as Sae.
