[div style="font:18px economica;"]SPIRIT APPEARANCE[/div]
{Yugure No Hane}

{Yoake No Hane}
Yugure is the older looking girl of the two spirits. She is roughly the same height as Yukina with pale blonde hair (almost white), faint peach skin and often wears a t-shirt under a slightly short sleeved jacket largely black with red accents, a pleated black skirt with a red underside, black pantyhose and black sneakers with red soles. She possesses the dual wield aspects of Yukina’s zanpakutou though she doesn’t carry them around unless summoned to fight.
Yoake is the younger spirit, about an inch shorter than Yukina with darker, though still pale blonde hair over her twin spirit Yugure, and typically wears a more traditional Japanese attire with a black sash, a long black scarf, blue haori, black shin boots up to her thighs and white dress. She is the single blade version of Yugure no Hana which Yugure typically keeps sheathed on her left hip.
[div style="font:18px economica;"]SPIRIT PERSONALITY[/div] Yugure is the quieter, more calculating one of the two sister spirits. She’s few on words, and always straight to the point when she does speak. She’s mostly an observer, preferring to be on the sidelines rather than actively participate in combat, though isn’t against participating if it’s at Yukina’s request. During Yukina’s progress, she was typically the teacher by example where her lessons used as few words as possible and simply expected Yukina to mimic her as best she could. More often than not, Yoake has to fill in the blanks for Yukina in order for Yugure’s lessons to fully sink in. Despite her quiet nature, Yugure is often the voice of reason between the three as her calm demeanor means that she doesn’t let her emotions cloud her judgment, and as a result is usually seen as the mature one. She cares deeply for Yukina, though she’s not always affectionate due to her habitual silence, which Yoake seems to believe is just shyness rather than a real personality trait. Yugure enjoys watching Yukina play video games even though she can’t play them herself.
Yoake acts a little more like a doting, energetic younger sister, in contrast to Yugure, typically treating Yukina like her older sister much to the chagrin of Yugure. She tends to be talkative and more expressive with her thoughts and affection. Unlike Yugure, Yoake is eager to fight and while one might think she would be the ideal teacher by example, Yoake’s communication skills are far better, being excellent at breaking things down into simpler terms for Yukina to understand, especially when she’s training under Yugure. She lacks the same level of maturity that Yugure has due to her energetic personality and more prone to act through emotion rather than reason. She is also the one that usually makes her concerns for Yukina known when she does something considered dangerous and often expresses Yugure’s love of Yukina for her since Yugure doesn’t say it herself. Like Yugure, Yoake also enjoys watching Yukina play video games and loves observing the humans she interacts with.
[div style="font:18px economica;"]INNER WORLD[/div] The world in which the two spirits reside is fairly strange. It is a large open meadow filled with beautiful white lotus flowers, though the centers of the flowers are either orange or violet. The sky remains in a constant state of sunrise, filling half the sky with beautiful oranges and yellows while the moon remains high in the sky, the other end of the horizon being fairly dark with stars remaining visible in the sky. Moving through the field and disturbing the flowers cause small sparks of lightning to crackle out. At least it will remain like this when her spirit is in balance. If her mental state deteriorates, the flowers begin to decay with more active lightning traveling along the ground.
Same deal here. This is just for the section beginning from Yukina's Spirit Appearance down to Inner world with at least one space before and after. I don't think I changed anything for Inner World, but I'd like to just add it to be sure.
The Akiyama Family The Akiyama family is a long-standing bloodline that is the direct descendants from knights of the Medieval Era. The family tree is expansive and spans over several countries including Germany, Japan, America, Spain, and Russia. It is likely that many of the members of the Akiyama family have blood from all of these countries. Many of them developed spiritual powers over the years, and due to the rarity, they were considered special. Those with spiritual powers often took it upon themselves to hunt Hollows to protect their families and pass them on to their offspring until it became a tradition and a duty of the spiritually aware in the Akiyama. For the most part, the Akiyama family shares a lot of the same traits as the Akimoto family, who they developed ties with after members of the families either fought together or saved one another repeatedly. As time progressed to the present, to avoid complication and “falling behind” in a technologically and socially advancing world, neither family really exhibits anything of their ancestry aside from fighting style and the few who still perform Hollow-hunting duty. They do not follow the ranking and social system, and following the honor system is entirely optional. However, the Akimoto and Akiyama do still hold activities and events between the two families to maintain their relationship. These events are usually organized between members of each family much like a “play date” or a “reunion” for a holiday. Such activities include spars, barbecues and tournaments either to celebrate the ties of the family, homage to their ancestors, or to display the progress and friendly competition of their “Knights”, as the spiritually aware are called. They would normally take place in arenas or areas held by their ancestors.
Ordinary, except…. During a visit to an old castle at the edge of town, Sakura Akiyama was attacked by a Hollow while she was 7 months pregnant with her child, Mikayla. Thankfully, her husband Ryuu was with her and managed to distract the Hollow while Sakura hid in a drawer nearby and prepared a binding spell. After binding the creature, Ryuu summons his spiritual might and cleaves the monster’s mask in half with a blade of light, casting it off in a mist of black energy. Despite their success, Ryuu could not prevent the initial strike on his wife that resulted in her being pierced by one of the Hollow’s sharp claws. Sakura survives in the long run and even gives birth to her daughter, Mikayla Akiyama, a few months later. Unknown to them were the implications that came with Sakura being attacked by a Hollow. Following Mikayla’s birth, Ryuu was praised for his heroic actions in saving his wife and being one of the few in the Akiyama family line to be able to down a Hollow with almost no weaponry.
After Mikayla’s birth, Sakura was given sole responsibility of raising her when Ryuu was sent alone to America where he would spend most of the year from that time on, training other members of the family who are also spiritually aware. Sakura for the most part raised Mikayla like any loving mother would, having to act as the father as well due to Ryuu rarely being around, though they were financially covered. The years passed on in peace despite the not-so-peaceful manner in which Mikayla’s life began. Sakura participated in many family functions where Mikayla would often play with her cousin Rosalynn and her friend Kiyomi as toddlers. When it came time for Mikayla to start school, Mikayla fit in without a problem. Her time with the two noble families made it easier for her to make friends among others and developed her social skills quite quickly. She would often bring her friends home to introduce them to her mother in their modest home in Karakura Town. But, regardless of her general education, Mikayla also began to learn about the Akiyama family and a little bit of the Akimoto family during her early years of school and even volunteered to train in swordsmanship.
From family functions and the joint functions with the Akimoto family, Mikayla absorbed information like a sponge. Since her father wasn’t around often, she even took it upon herself to start learning how to cook at a young age. What made Mikayla stand out even more is the fact that, while she was a normal a girl as any, she was both intelligent and a great swordswoman and a great singer. As she spent more time with the Akimotos as ties between the two families grew stronger, Mikayla found herself sparring against members of the other family as a part of her training with a straight sword. Surprisingly enough, her opponent most of the time was her best friend, Kiyomi, who was one of the Akimoto’s finer swordswomen. Their sparring quickly grew to a competitive level where they would try to outdo the other constantly, officially marking them as friendly rivals. Many a time, their sparring matches were a spectacle to behold and were often saved for last in competitions. At home, Mikayla did her best to pull her own weight, nearing the age of 15 and spent a lot of time with her mother, Sakura. She did everything she could from cooking for her, washing with her in the shower to get hard to reach spots, keeping her company, taking a job to help pay bills, and even continued to sleep with her mother so she didn’t feel lonely.
The bond between Sakura and Mikayla grew strong over the next couple of years to the point that they treated each other like best friends. It was on her 16th birthday that she received her special hairclips from her mother as a special gift. Not only did this increase her pride as Sakura’s daughter, but it also awoke a special power within her, brought forth by her love of her mother, her pride as an Akiyama, and her love of music and singing. During one of her many singing sessions did this power come to life as her Fullbring, changing her outfit and causing the words that she sung to become empowered and take a physical and visual effect.
Thankfully, she was intelligent enough to quickly understand that she has a special power and immediately began to teach herself how to control it. She told her mother of this power since this power isn’t unheard of and it isn’t frowned upon but in fact searched for within the Akimoto and Akiyama families and was given her blessing to start further training. At around this time, her friends, Kiyomi and Erika had also begun their own training alongside another friend of theirs, Yukina Sasaki.
As Yukina, Kiyomi, Mikayla, and Erika trained together, and performed patrols around Karakura to help spirits move onto the Soul Society, it eventually came to their attention that Yukina had drawn the attention of the Gotei 13 and had become a Substitute Shinigami. While Kiyomi and Erika weren’t exactly keen on involving themselves with an organization outside of their own family, Mikayla was more of a risk taker and wanted to expand the influence of the Akiyama family.
Following Yukina’s offer to become a Shinigami representative, Mikayla took it upon herself to seize the Gotei 13’s awareness of the human world and start showing her worth to the Shinigamis that she would encounter in her patrols. It didn’t take long until she too, was extended an offer to become a substitute Shinigami, like Yukina, to which she quickly accepted. Her time, at that moment, as a Fullbring, was short, but even then, she was eager to adapt to her new abilities as a Shinigami. She gave her robes a custom style, similar to how Yukina had customized hers, and took all the free time that she could to adapt to the use of Kido, reiryoku techs and communicating with her zanpakutou.
Mika took whatever lessons she could from her fellow Shinigami, especially Yukina since it seemed like she was actually learning quicker than Mikayla was, which was intimidating to her. Progress was actually slow at first, despite Mikayla’s work ethic, but as the lessons started to sink in, it built momentum to the point that Mikayla had finally attained the use of her Shikai state by overcoming perilous odds against a major threat to her life while out on a Hollow patrol one evening alone. After getting her Shikai unlocked and begun a relationship with her zanpakutou spirit, Lily, Mikayla returned her focus to improving her skills with her Fullbring, to make sure that she does not slack and put herself in a position where she would be left helpless or dead.
With a lot left to learn and mounting responsibilities as a daughter and a Shinigami representative, it’s fair to say that Mikayla’s hectic life is about to become even more busy than ever before.
This replaces Mikayla's old history. Only thing changed is just all mentions of Karina being changed to Yukina. This just needs to maintain the space after the history.

[div style="font:18px economica;"]SPIRIT APPEARANCE[/div]
{Lily}
Lily takes the appearance of a young girl, straight, butt-length black hair, scarlet red eyes, and a curvaceous body. She is usually wearing a black traditional Japanese shrine maiden robe held to her body with a red neck lace. She wears a red and white sash, long white gloves, thigh high stockings with ruffled ends, lifted sandals tied with red ribbons along her ankle. Her most striking feature is the pair of extremely long red ribbons adorning either side of her head.
[div style="font:18px economica;"]SPIRIT PERSONALITY[/div] Hiiro usu murasakiiro (緋色薄紫色) prefers to be called “Lily”, though Mikayla quickly forgets this and often calls her “Kuro” for the dark clothing she wears. Lily is a calm, fairly mature girl despite her small size, though she’s quite vain, seeing herself as more beautiful and sexy than Mikayla, often teasing her about it. Regardless, Lily is very affectionate about Mikayla, showing clear concern for her when she was becoming hollowfied and gave her the idea to dominate the being that would later be known as “Riku”. Lily enjoys spending time with Mikayla whenever she can but usually only because she gets tired of arguing with Riku. That said, Lily is a bit of a sore loser once she’s taken to a limit where her maturity fails her, usually thanks to Riku. However, Lily doesn’t stay that way for long as she wants to be seen as the ideal zanpakutou spirit.
[div style="font:18px economica;"]INNER WORLD[/div] The Inner world of Scarlet Lilac looks fairly simple. It is a world with a large, gently sloping hill decorated with lilac flowers under a beautiful star-filled night sky though the moon is much larger than what would be seen on earth and is in a perpetual state of a lunar eclipse. Due to the glow of the lunar eclipse above, the usually purple lilacs decorating the landscape have a more red appearance to them. Petals intermittently float about the air, glowing with the light of the moon and the stars above.[/div]
Same deal as Karina for this one.
The Akimoto Family The Akimoto family is a long standing blood lineage that can be traced centuries in the past. Among the volumes of history, one era, in particular, stands out prominently; the Medieval Era in Europe. A knight, bearing the Akimoto name, stood tall amongst his brethren as a man of valor, honor, duty, courage, and unquestionable leadership. His victories, riches, and respect earned on the battlefield, established the Akimoto name as nobility and as “clan” where aspiring knights or those seeking to refine their skills came for guidance. Throughout wars between kings, rebellions, poverty and changes in power, the Akimoto name became commonplace as a household that produced superb warriors, as did their signature white, red/gold trimmed armor.
Knights from all over their native land came to watch spectacles held at the Akimoto households, such as training sessions, jousts, ceremonial events, spars, duels of honor, and burials of important figureheads. Such events eventually became traditions for the family, as did the desire to ensure that the bloodline would survive through the ages.
But as the medieval ages faded to the pages of history, so did the demand for knights in favor of soldiers who could be bred for battle in a couple of years rather than an entire lifetime to participate in conventional warfare using firearms. However, this did not mark the end of the Akimoto legacy. Thanks to their established methods of passing down the bloodline, as well as their accumulated wealth during their golden era, the Akimoto family remained strong and found new purpose. In direct result to their “open doors” policy for anyone willing to learn the ways of the knight, a special trait managed to breed into the primary bloodline over the past couple of generations.
Instead of tainting the pure bloodline unfavorably, it merely increased their affinity to Reiatsu/Reiryoku/Reishi, allowing more and more members of the family to be born with larger quantities of spiritual energy. This awakened the Akimotos to their new adversaries; The Hollows. In the face of their once, undetectable foes, the Akimotos began to train in the spiritual arts much like they had in the way of the knight in order to defend their homeland as well as their loved ones. Over the next few generations, the Akimotos developed their skills as Humans with spiritual powers, some being Quincy, some being Shinigami, befriended in their battles, and in the rare occasion, Fullbrings, and expanded their knowledge, largely retaining their previous traditions and signature armor. It was during this time that the Akiyama family met and formed a deep relationship with the Akimotos, pooling their resources and intertwining their training regiments, traditions and fought together on the battlefield.
But as the centuries and generations of Akimotos and Akiyamas passed on, fewer branches of the families participated in Hollow hunting, believing it was far too dangerous to do so, considering the high death toll of many novices and low survivability and short life span for everyone else. This notion grew as the family expanded to other reaches of the world outside of Europe towards Japan, Russia, and the US. The dawn of the modern age brought on the desire to live normal lives, and pursue real jobs and careers since the last few generations were spent honing skills rather than maintaining their wealth and renown. Instead of spiritual humans, Quincy, and Fullbrings, businessmen and corporate leaders of all kinds began to shape the family wealth once more, and their success inspired others within the family to pursue their true dreams as well.
Unsurprisingly, Hollow Hunting fell out of favor entirely, left primarily to those that desired to fight them instead of it being mandatory, along with traditional events that were once religiously held. Formerly weekly, or rarely monthly events became ordinary holidays to many members as sort of family gatherings and reunions, though, but much like Hollow Hunting, they were still done regularly amongst those that desired to do so. However, even despite the detachment from tradition in favor of ordinary, modern lives, there is no argument that the families of the Akimoto and Akiyama remain close and praise their ancestors for their efforts that provided a stepping stone for what they can achieve in the modern world. And while Hollow Hunting to protect the family isn’t done to same degree as it once was, those that brave the lands and take on the monstrous beasts are still looked upon with the same high regard that their patron knight once was.
A Fear of Destiny In a similar manner to her fellow Fullbringers, the origin of Kiyomi’s powers starts during her mother, Ayane’s, pregnancy. Ayane is a member of the Akimoto family that had lived in Osaka, Japan, for all of her life after her great, great grandfather moved to Japan to start a new life. She loved the Japanese culture, as well as the Akimoto heritage that bonded so well with the Japanese Samurai, so it felt natural to her to learn about both of them at a young age. But, like many of her relatives around the world, she too felt that the Hollow Hunting tradition was too dangerous to follow since there were so many better things in the world to do. However, she didn’t want to completely detach herself from her heritage. So she participated in family functions and events, and once she received her mother’s heirloom diamond necklace that had been passed on by her mother, Ayane set it in her mind that she would continue the tradition.
Eventually, Ayane met her future husband, Raku, another spiritual human who was invited to a practice match between two Spiritual Humans. She fell in love with him at first sight and over the next couple of years, spent a lot of time together and finally decided to get married. In their excitement, the couple didn’t wait for their wedding to celebrate their “honeymoon”, which resulted in Ayane getting pregnant with Kiyomi. Though the pair was happy to have a baby on the way, Ayane couldn’t help but worry if their bloodline would awaken her child as a Spiritual Human. Putting it to the back of her mind for the time being, Ayane helped organize her wedding with other family members, which turned into a family event once the rest of the Akimotos learned about the impending matrimony.
Shortly after the pair was wed and the reception began, the worse possible event occurred: A Hollow raid. There were spiritual guards in the area that were ready to deal with the adversaries but the sheer amount of Hollows attracted to the event proved to be difficult for the collection of Quincy, Humans, Fullbrings and Shinigami to handle quickly. Those that couldn’t fight ran off to seek reinforcements while the others took shelter. In the midst of the confusion and combat, Ayane was struck by a flying tooth that had been sheared off of a Hollow’s mask. It had pierced her womb before immediately dissolving once the Hollow that it belonged to died. Frantic, Raku took Ayane to the family medical center in the same building the wedding was being held.
Before the chaos grew, Akimoto reinforcements arrived and quickly dispatched of the remaining Hollows, leaving no casualties, and Ayane as the only one with a noticeable injury. But before anyone could worry, Ayane was given an “all clear” once they detailed what had happened to her. Unfortunately, the hollow energy that she had been infected with, due to the tooth, was too minute to be detected. The next few months of the pregnancy went by smoothly and eventually, the healthy baby girl, Kiyomi, was born. Following Kiyomi’s birth, Ayane and Raku moved to Karakura Town, which was a great rural town with equally gorgeous scenery.
Embracing The Heritage Kiyomi’s early life was typical for that of a child that was born into a good, stable, and wealthy household. It’s not to say that Ayane and Raku were that well set, but rather their family’s established ties and money flow meant that everyone in the family had funds readily available, meaning it was even possible for someone to live their entire life comfortably just living off the money flow that each member receives. That said, Kiyomi’s every need was taken care of, and Ayane was with her day and night, being a stay at home mom.
For years, Ayane and Raku had the ideal life; a spacious, beautiful home, steady money, a child, a housekeeper, and a surprisingly stress free marriage. That would soon change as Kiyomi turned seven, and her Reiatsu began to awaken, much to the fear of Ayane. But her Reiatsu was different than many of her family members, and hinted at the presence of Hollow Reiatsu within her. Ayane didn’t immediately recall what that meant, but Raku did, and informed his wife about the creation of Fullbringers, and traced the incident that caused it back to the wedding ceremony where she was nearly impaled by a Hollow’s tooth.
Ayane would have broken down in tears if it wasn’t for Raku’s calm demeanor that urged Ayane to let Kiyomi train and master her powers by training with other family members so that she wouldn’t attract attention from Hollows and let her live her life normally. Reluctantly, Ayane agreed, so long as Kiyomi didn’t go off Hollow Hunting as many members of her family did.
By now, Kiyomi had already been home schooled by Ayane since she was 5, but now included in her curriculum, was a bit more of her family heritage and spiritual humans. Kiyomi seemed to take an interest in it and it made it all the easier to introduce the young girl to sparring and reiatsu meditation. During sparring, from the large assortment of weapons that the Akimoto family had available, Kiyomi did the best with the rapier, probably just coincidence from her enjoyment of poking people. Over the next couple of years, Kiyomi learned to manifest her Reiatsu, while also learning to spar and defend herself with the guidance of her father and her family members. It was during these training sessions and family gatherings that she met her cousin, Erika, as well as her close friend, Mikayla, from the Akiyama family, who also had similar circumstances surrounding her as Kiyomi did.
As Kiyomi grew more skillful and spiritually stronger, Raku and Ayane began to worry that her interest in training may spur her to go Hollow Hunting and thus abruptly ended her training. This notion grew when Kiyomi started to develop an interest in the opposite sex as well once she met a few guys outside the family during her training sessions. While other families may see this as normal for a healthy teenage girl, Raku wouldn’t have it and made sure that Kiyomi couldn’t date until she matured. Typical of a rebellious teen not being allowed what she wanted to do given that she was pampered for her entire life, Kiyomi began sneaking around outside when her parents weren’t paying attention and tried to date without her parents’ knowledge. But Raku, having resources to survey Kiyomi when she wasn’t home, soon discovered her antics, putting them to an end.
Essentially grounded, Kiyomi’s rebellious streak only grew in strength and prompted her to wander out in the middle of the night when she knew that Raku was asleep. It was during one of these escapes that she encountered her first Hollow; a Menos. However, from all the education she received from her mother and fellow Fullbringers during training, she knew what this creature was and even felt confident since she knew where its weakness was. Using what little Reiatsu she could manifest, Kiyomi manages to snap the Menos’ mask and defeat it in a swift fashion. This was also, coincidentally, the first time that Kiyomi encountered a Plus Soul, whom she protected until the boy faded away. Being young, Kiyomi was obviously proud of herself and bragged about it to her parents and family which terrified Ayane, but had the other family members aside from Raku feeling proud and surprised at Kiyomi’s accomplishment, even though Kiyomi’s cousin, Erika, had already unlocked her Fullbring and proved to be more of a prodigy than Kiyomi had.
Despite her parents’ pleas for Kiyomi to not run out and attack Hollows, Kiyomi continued to do so anyway, taking Erika as well as Mikayla with her. They proved to be quite a skillful trio and had little trouble handling Hollows, though it took them a while to get used to seeing the spirits of dead humans wandering around, even if they took the time to protect them until Shinigami could send them to the afterlife. She had also met a Fullbringer by the name of Yukina Sasaki, who occasionally joined them on their patrols. Kiyomi had regular exposure with people outside the family without the interruption of her parents which gave her insight to what it was like to go to a normal school, which was certainly more interesting than the homeschooling she was receiving.
It came as no surprise then, that before she was to enter a private high school that her parents had lined up for her, Kiyomi pressed and pleaded to join the public Karakura High School instead. At first, Ayane and Raku were completely against it, and were more comfortable keeping her at the private school where they could keep their eye on her. But after some convincing and showing her passion to lead a normal life amongst people outside the family, her parents finally gave in and allowed her to go.
The Flash Knight Thankfully, Ayane’s teaching proved to be of a higher level than what the school was giving, so Kiyomi held high grades throughout her early high school life. Her beauty and lady-like demeanor, developed from being around the Akimoto family, earned her popularity as an Ojou-sama. Once Erika and Mikayla joined up with Kiyomi, the popularity only grew.
When she reached the age of 16, Kiyomi was officially seen as a mature young lady of the Akimoto family and was handed down the diamond necklace heirloom from her mother. Kiyomi knew what this meant and her pride as an Akimoto family member, considering she was a Hollow Hunter, blossomed. It was once she received this heirloom that she finally unlocked her own Fullbring, which gave her a rapier that she had become so accustomed to over the years, so it was practically a perfect match for her.
Kiyomi didn’t mind the appearance of her Fullbring, and in fact, loved it, since it represented her so well. So along with Mikayla and Erika, their Hollow Hunting continued, and became much easier now that the source of her Reiatsu was coming from her true powers rather than just random manifestations of what she could pull together. She became closer to her friend, Yukina, as well who had become a representative of the Shinigami and could send the souls to Soul Society without having to wait for them. Eventually, Kiyomi let her parents know that she had finally released her Fullbring, to which they weren’t surprised about, but now that they knew that they couldn’t stop her from Hollow Hunting, they began to see her as her own independent woman and praised her for her skill, ability, and high grades, even finally giving her permission to start dating. Without her parents breathing down her neck, Kiyomi finally began to settle down and discipline herself and mature rather than remain rebellious, shaping her over the next year over what she became today.
Same deal as Mikayla's history here.
