There was something about modern day human activities that, recently started to interest the old hollow. Humans, up well past the time they would normally retire to sleep, were watching moving pictures on a screen. Through his poking around he'd managed to figure out that these things displayed up on the oversized white screen, were something called movies. The Cinema theater Nadezhda entered was not particularly packed. In fact this particular room's population could be said to have been dwindling the last few days.
He considered it one of his less productive, but equally satisfying activities. Watching these stories that played out on the display while audio played out from four different locations on either side of the room intrigued him. Especially the words, the phrases, and even the so called new age references. He'd picked up human languages long ago during his frequent movements between the human World and Hueco Mundo but it seemed as if the humans were constantly changing their interactive norms, including the way they spoke to one another.
The hollow sat in the middle of the theater. For him it provided the best view and ease of access. That and for some reason the humans often chose to avoid this section of the seating as if a repelling force were acting upon them. Which served his purpose. Humans weren't his primary interest and if he could avoid direct interactions while he educated himself on their new world activities it was all the better.
