The cry of a hollow sounded off across the town where hundreds, even thousands had been going about their lives, ignorant of the danger they were in. Mitsuoki's eyes narrowed as he stood atop a light post, glaring in the direction of the sound. "Another? It were only a matter of minutes from the last one." he said under his breath before turning and lifting a foot from the light post and quickly vanishing by using his flash step.
An explosion sounded off where the large hollow had rammed its fist into the ground. Mitsuoki had arrived just in time to see the humans standing around, gawking at it, commenting on how strange and sudden the explosion was. "Blind. Were I so clueless in my own life?" he asked before vanishing again and reappearing on the floor, behind the hollow. The hollow had turned to face a man who had tripped and had a chain sticking out of his chest that was already cut, his corpse a matter of feet away with a large stone block on his crushed head. Mitsuoki had caught the movement and quickly moved to get between the hollow and the plus, holding his hand up and saying "Kyōmon." in a cold, emotionless tone, and forming a near invisible barrier between himself and the hollow's incoming fist. It hit the barrier and did nothing to break it. Mitsuoki's hand quickly switched from pressing flat against his kyōmon to having two fingers pointed in its direction. He looked at it with cold eyes that were also somewhat elegant, carrying the same look that nobles gave everyone under normal circumstances. "Hadō twenty six, hidenkō." he said in the same cold tone from before and forming a blast of red lightning that shot straight through its mask, killing it on the spot.
With the hollow dead, Mitsuoki turned and faced the plus, looking down on him with that same noble's expression. "You there, human. You can see me, yes?" he asked, to which the man slowly nodded. "Then you are currently dead. Before you, I place two options. Linger in this world, unguided, alone, and risk turning into one of those creatures. If this happens, you will be my enemy, and I will be forced to make you experience death a second time. Your second option is to let me guide you to the next life, where you will be safe from meeting my blade." The man looked around in confusion, stopping with his eyes on his own corpse. It took him a few seconds to take it all in before he began freaking out, only interrupted after thirty seconds, where Mitsuoki said "What is your decision, mortal?" The plus looked at him and said "P-p-please, sir... Let me pass on."
Mitsuoki approached the man and slowly drew his blade, watching coldly as the man began trembling with fear in his eyes. The butt of the sword was pressed against the man's head. "I grant you passage." he said calmly and removed the metal bottom from the plus's forehead to reveal a stamp that spread and consumed the soul, sending him away. Mitsuoki looked around at his surroundings, envying the ignorant state of the humans for a brief moment.
His gigai had been nearby, leaning against a wall with his arms crossed, being unbearably nonchalant. Mitsuoki had approached him and said "Normal humans panic when hollows attack. They are unable to perceive the hollow; but, they are more than adept at perceiving the random destruction that their attacks cause. I advise adjusting accordingly next time, please." The mod soul bowed and said "It will be done, sir." before tapping his chest with a seal that forced the pill out of its body. Mitsuoki quickly stepped in and began calmly walking away from the scene, carrying the pill in his right hand. Another object that normal humans couldn't see.
