Name: Hawkeye Sense Class: Seiren Tier: II Type: Supplementary/Illusion Duration: 2 Range: 50 Meter Radius Description: Infusing her senses with Reishi, Tanya is able to increase her ability to detect her opponent's movements, (as long as they are not hiding their presence) allowing her the capacity to more effectively dodge or avoid surprise attacks or techniques that could otherwise catch her off guard. The telltale indication that Tanya is using this skill is the unnaturally teal colored glow in her eyes.
Name: Pierce the Void Class: Archery Style Tier: IV Type: Offensive Range: 100 meter radius of Tanya's position (5 Meter explosion radius for each triggered mine) Description: By infusing her regular shots with special time delayed and touch sensitive Reishi, Tanya essentially lays out a carpet of midair landmines around herself (Number of mines laid per activation is based on current Mastery Level) After the arrows reach their intended location they become invisible. If any opponent makes contact with a mine while active, the respective minefield will detonate, dealing Tier IV explosive damage. Pierce the Void may be laid out more than once and the user may choose to detonate all active mines at any point, dealing Tier IV damage for each instance of this ability that is currently active to any opponents within the field. Once all mines are detonated the cooldown starts at: base CD +1 for each additional minefield detonated. Drawback: Cumulative cooldown is added based on Tier restrictions and how many instances of this ability were active at the time of choosing to detonate the field or at the time when all fields become detonated. Detonations caused by opponent contact relies heavily on this site's honor system.
Name: Lance of Longinus Class: Archery Style Tier: VII Type: Offensive Speed: Bala Range: 100 Incantation: “By Mine (body part or sense: ie Arms eyes voice legs ect…) be purged!” Description: Calling upon the divine is not something one should do lightly… All great feats are only accomplished when one exerts a great price. The Lance of Longinus is no exception. Redemption only comes at the cost of a great sacrifice. With this ability Tanya calls forth the power of the gods to imbue her next Quincy arrow with divine power. Shooting forth at Bala speed, this arrow takes on the form of a lance, impaling its target with Tier VII damage. Should this ability miss however, it will destroy all terrain within a 50 meter radius of the impact point. (Radius damage is negligible beyond 100 meters, per range limitations) Drawbacks: The Incantation must be stated in order to use this ability. If this ability misses its target, no other abilities the user possesses may be used while Lance of Longinus is on cooldown. If Lance of Longinus strikes its target but does not kill the target, the user automatically suffers damage in the form of Tier V unmitigated backlash from this ability. If this ability kills its target the user not only takes Tier V unmitigated damage but also permanently loses the use of the Incantation’s stated limb or sense. If the incantation cost is invoked and ‘voice’ was chosen as part of this ability’s activation incantation, Lance of Longinus and any other abilities the user needs incantations in order to use, become permanently locked and cannot be used again unless the user finds a way to restore their voice. If the incantation cost is invoked and ‘Legs’ was chosen as part of this ability’s activation incantation, The user loses the use of their legs and all abilities that rely on stepping are locked until the user finds a way to restore their legs. If the incantation cost is invoked and ‘Arms/Hands’ was chosen as part of this ability’s activation incantation, The user loses the use of their arms/hands and any abilities the user possesses that require their use are subsequently locked until the user finds a way to restore their Arms/Hands. (Should this ability miss its mark it will destroy all terrain within a 100 meter radius of the impact point. <--- This could be a huge drawback depending on where it’s used.)

hawkeye sense is going to be illusion based
--Techniques that are utilizing or strengthening a particular natural sense are now akin to illusions; illusions are effects on the opponent's senses, thus, applying those rules to counter illusions or even strengthen those senses would be manipulated through the same structural procedures as an illusion, however, applied to yourself. Expanding one's visual peripherals to gain a 360 degree view of your surroundings; increasing the sensitivity of your ears to hear the slightest wavers of your opponent's clothes; increasing the strength of your nervous system along your skin to feel the vibrations in the air hitting against you to make yourself a moving radar... these would all fall under this category. They will still be classified as Supplementary techniques, however, will now be Release Only. Limited to one technique in your release, you are allowed to manipulate 2 senses in shikai leveled releases, and 3 senses under bankai leveled releases

Pierce the Void - You can change this to a radius effect with many mines in the respective area. keep the duration and everything but it makes it so that there are many mines tied to a single use of the tech. Just saying.

Lance of Longinus - Speed, damage radius is not allowed per the tech guide. The drawback of possibly losing a limb if you fail is not sufficient in getting you this tech.

Questions/Clarification: HAWKEYE SENSE ---Does this mean I should change the type to Illusion? ---or do I add Illusion as a type on top of being Supplementary? ---Does the description need to change?
Questions/Clarification:
LANCE OF LONGINUS ---Bala speed is not allowed for Tier VII damage but given the drawbacks would half bala speed be permitted? I ask because I looked over the rules about half bala speed in techs and did not see anything regarding "Half Bala speed" in Tier VII techs.
Clarifications:
---Lance of Longinus is single target only and does not deal any AOE damage. When it strikes terrain it simply vaporizes the terrain, Nothing else. I can reduce this to the proper 100 meter radius though ---Drawbacks if ability misses or hits but does not kill the target: ------Tier V damage dealt to the user as backlash ------Loss of use of "ALL" Other abilities while on cooldown - Not Just offensive abilities and not Just Tier VII abilities. ALL Abilities and ALL Tiers immediately go on cooldown for as long as Lance of Longinus remains on cooldown.
---Drawbacks if ability kills the target
------All of the above drawbacks + Loss of the stated sense/limb. Only senses or limbs that result in the locking of abilities may be stated.

So with peirce the void. I was short before but I can go a bit more in depth now. If you want it as it is then its fine but you need to be aware that three mines makes a three post cooldown increasing by one for each additional mine. Also once you use the first mine you cannot use more mines until the previous mine has finished its cooldown so you would have to fire off all the mines at once. That being the case means you have 2+ mines each with a duration = to the cooldown that stacks up.
I am not sure why I made it so that Hawkeye had to be reviewed. Its fine as it is. Just be aware that its illusion based.
Lance of - So the issue with this is the cumulative range and damage radius making your effective range 100+100m. first no attack is allowed to extend past 100m even with blast radius. Just adding in that the damage is negligible outside of 100 meters from you would be fine. Next the blast radius of the impact zone is not allowed to exceed 50 meters total [or 100m diameter not to extend beyond 100m from the user]. Also what would it take to get the required limb or sense back in working order?

PIERCE THE VOID -That's exactly what I'd intended actually... Multiple "Mine Fields" But each additional net beyond the first increases post cooldown of the ability by 1 and the additional cooldown increments cannot be reduced by masteries. So like you said if say 3 minefields were thrown out then the cooldown = base cooldown +2 post cooldown for the extra 2 minefields that got laid out before incurring cooldown. -I haven't specified exact numbers but I was thinking that the number of fields that can be placed at once would be based on the governing mastery. (was thinking before though that she could continue using the ability each post until a field (or normal cooldown begins) is triggered, detonating all fields and incurring the cumulative cooldown based on the number of active instances of the ability. This could result in a maximum ability cooldown time of 8 posts, or a total length of 16 posts if one field is laid down each post without any of the previous fields being triggered. Though it might just be easier to say that a number of fields can be placed and each field beyond the first increases cooldown by +1)
HAWKEYE SENSE -Understood and accepted
LANCE OF LONGINUS -AOE of the terrain damage reduced to 50 meter radius -It is now noted in description that damage affects do not exceed the max range of 100 meters
Clarification: -The "Limb/Sense Cost" is akin to being maimed and would require appropriate specialized medicines or abilities in order to fix. This would likely require Tanya to seek out a capable player character or an approved NPC who is specialized in healing techniques in order to recover. Either way the "Healing Process" would need to be achieved ICly and approved via improvement. -Just to reaffirm, the AOE of the blast destroying terrain does not deal damage to player characters or NPCs

Sorry but Hawkeye sense is going to have to be Denied; Jade's initial assessment was in fact correct. Abilities that improve your senses in order to dodge are illusion based (and must carry the illusion typing) and illusions are release only. Sorry for putting you back and forth here!
Pierce the void - you're nerfing yourself here. You really don't want the landmines to have a duration of 8. Instead put that the Cooldown is only activated when the mines detonate, and that the duration lasts from when the first mine has detonated until the last one has. You don't need to pay cooldown to have them out on the field IMHO, just when they explode. Also please state the area of the explosion itself.
