Plot details: Knowing her infection is spreading at a rapid pace, Kawa finds herself dealing with her own mortality as well as the realization that, no matter how much she may not want to admit it, she's afraid to die. Conflicted and with no one she feels she can speak with, she finds comfort with her family; a rarity in and of itself. After a brief break from the Hospital, Kawa returns, albeit a bit more somber. She plans to leave her wing in the charge of her young apprentice, Nanami; a faithful friend since the Academy days and one of the few remaining staff members that can handle her unique personality. Moments before the time she chooses to depart, however, the entirety of the Seireitei is attacked by an unknown source... the Invasion of the Quincy has begun...
