There he stood, the glorious bastard himself, Pico Gavilán, feet planted firmly in the white sands of Hueco Mundo's endless desert. His face was strained and bloodshot, obvious concentration throbbing in the vein on his forehead. His fists were clenched at his hips, and a venting of angry breath through his teeth displayed the shear force he was putting into... whatever the fuck he was doing.
Then, there it was, before him a few yards away, a blip of static crackled for a moment. Then, again, but a bit more apparent, and now the air itself seemed to twist and distort until it was torn apart, like a mouth being forced open, threatening to snap shut at any moment.
If Pico couldn't get this damned Garganatron shit to work soon, he was going to blow a fuse or pop a blood vessel. Theo made it look so easy, but whenever he tried it might as well have been like trying to read a book. Fucking impossible.
But after a few moments of wrestling with control over it, he seemed to get it to stay open and stable... barely... It was only open slightly, but was holding, the inky blackness inside barely detectable against the night sky of Hueco Mundo, but it was there. Now, he just had to... get... through it, without it closing. That should be easy enough, right?
Digging his toes into the sand a bit, he concentrated on keeping the gate open, just as he Sonido'd through, it snapping shut immedietely behind him.... or... technically around him. His ankle dangled through the gate, still trapped on this side of nowhere, threatening to be sliced clean off by the dimensional tear.
On the other side, amidst a flurry of curse words and grunts, Pico yanked at his ankle from the vice until it finally pulled through. Fuck.
But his temper was as fleeting as his attention span, because he finally felt it once again. Sunlight. They didn't have this back in that shitty desert, and the warmth against his skin brought back memories. He shoved his hands into his pockets as he looked down at the city below, sucking food from his teeth before finally muttering to himself, "...wait, where the fuck am I?"

espite her better efforts, Blodeuwen had been unable to find the man she was looking for. With the Gotei 13 on full recruitment drive, and preparing for the war, Blodeuwen had taken it upon herself to go and look for an old mentor, one who she owed her life to. It had been years since she'd seen Lyn, or any of his protegés. There had been a small group of them when Blod was a much weaker shinigami, many years ago. Lyn was a visored, and as such had long been in exile from soul society. Blodeuwen enjoyed her privilege as the Kido Corps soshi, the privilege that allowed her to befriend even exiles with relative impunity. Lyn though, Lyn was an old friend who'd saved her life before she'd become strong, at a time when she was most vulnerable. Even finding one of his old friends would help her on her quest to find him.
That wasn't the only reason that she was in the human world. In the Seireitei the atmosphere was tense. You didn't have three captains taken out of action and many of your lower echelon soldiers killed without serious anxiety seeping into the very fabric of your society. Here in the human world, ignorance was bliss. In her Gigai, Blod threaded her way through town, enjoying an ice cream she'd bought from a man in a van, for a confusing amount of human world money that she didn't especially understand. It was a reward for looking all morning with no results. Little did she know that her perseverance would soon pay off, however.
At first, it just seemed like arrancar reiatsu. Arrancar coming into the human world was bad news and so though she was clad in her favourite pink summer dress, Blodeuwen suppressed her reiatsu to undetectable levels, and clambered up a fire escape to the roof of a nearby building, cramming her ice cream into her face.
"OOOO, EEEE, brain freeze!" she said to herself, clutching her head as she hid behind an air conditioning unit and peered out at the individual attempting, with some difficulty, to extract himself from a garganta. She recognised his face before his spiritual pressure. That... That was Pico!? What the hell were the chances... Did Theo have anything to do with this? She'd need to go and ask him if he knew the hotheaded arrancar. If you'd bumped into him... It'd be hard not to.
"Pico-kun!?" she asked, stepping out from behind the unit, and staring at him muttering to himself. "I thought it was someone else!" he was stood, hands in his pockets, the same irate face and nonchalant attitude as ever. Blod could feel his spiritual pressure however. The years hadn't been quite as kind to him as to her. Most likely because he had trained inefficiently, blockheadedly getting into fights he can't win all the time and never learning from them. She was hiding her spiritual pressure; to Pico she would appear not much stronger than the last time they had met, as Lyn's twin accomplices, different as Yin and Yang.
"What are you doing here? It's... It's been so long."
Raising an eyebrow, Pico turned his attention to the... glowing pink... thing. His lip curled on its own, revealing his incisor, an unconcious response to something so.... dainty. It nearly made his stomach turn, and his fist tightened in his pocket. It came back to him like a splash of cold water, normally he struggled with remembering things... or understanding them in the first place, but seeing this woman sent him reeling right back to the moment they met.
He looked her from head to toe and sighed, stepping down from the air above the building until his feet landed squarely onto the concrete rooftop. "...If it ain't little Princess..." He looked away down at the street below as she asked his reasoning for being here, which got the rusty cogs in his head to start churning, his eyes going blank for a moment before he turned to her and muttered.
"I... don't fuckin' know, what're you my keeper now? Had to get away from that fucking desert and that..." His fist drew from his pocket and clenched tightly into a solid brick of knuckle, "...that fucking old man..."
As the words fell out of his mouth, a spark went off in his pea-brain. Of course by old man he meant Theo, but seeing Blod for the first time in ages reminded him of a previous old man. His eyes seemed to almost light up, and he turned to her, actually paying attention this time. "Wait... you know where old Tin Man is... and that fucking Dirtbag... I haven't pummeled them in forever..." He grinned his fanged grin, absorbed in thought and the prospects of a good rematch spar with either of those two legends of his past.
Of course of the three, he had to get the prissy little flower to show up first, just his luck.

atience was a virtue worth exercising with a person like Pico. As such, she took on the nose his obvious distaste for her; despite the fact that they had previously been allies She came out more fully, brown boots clicking on the tiled roof as he floated down to join her all cool-like, as he tried to answer her questions. She gave a short 'mmh' as he called her Princess; Blodeuwen was in fact a princess. Or had been, as a human, all those many centuries ago. She flicked one of her bangs out of her face as he clenched his fist. Ooh! The big scary arrancar was getting all hot and bothered. Blodeuwen knew it was condescending but she couldn't help but find him a little cute. It was perhaps a welcome change of pace from when they had last met, and in all likelihood he would have pummelled her, had it ever come to blows. Not that it had.
It seemed that he had only just recalled that time, as he spoke about some old man Blodeuwen had no idea about. Likely some arrancar he had tried to beat up and had lost to. He was grinning, teeth bared, the sight of which made Blodeuwen smile. What he said next, however, managed to wipe the smug smile off of her face. By Dirtbag he could only mean Adam. Images flashed across Blodeuwen's mind- images of the central 46, of the Kaminoyari destroying the hundreds of hollows, and Adam too, in the pit. She clenched her own fists now, the usually pink-tinged knuckles of her dainty hands turning white.
"Adam's dead." she told him starkly, a single tear rolling down her face. She didn't feel quite ready to tell Pico how he'd died. "And Lyn... Hasn't been seen in a long time. I'm actually here looking for him. Do you know anything about where he might be?" She asked, her pacific eyes glistering still with tears, and serious.
Pico's grinning energy slowly seemed to smolder down into a mix of emotions as he heard what she had said. His gaze lowered and seemed to phase into a distant glossed over stare, processing what he had heard. His shoulders even drooped a bit, his jaw clenching tightly. He turned back to the rooftop's ledge, staring out across the city. It hadn't been until now that he realized that this was the same city he had met Lyn, and normally it'd be full of possibilities but for some reason right now, even with all the people walking down in the streets below... it felt, empty. He came here to escape that from Hueco Mundo, but of course things had to be the same back here. Fucking typical.
With a grunt of acknowledgement, Pico didn't even turn to Blod to respond, "Huh... guess I'm not surprised. That's what happens when you're weak huh..." He feigned a grin, which slowly faded back to somber as he mulled over it.
Finally, stepping up onto the ledge, he called out over his shoulder, "Nah... I thought you'd know, but I guess we're both shit out of luck. Fuck 'em." He shoved his fists back into his pockets and drew in a breath, as if to start a new segment.
"Whatever, anyway... if those fuckers are no-shows, then who's the big dog of this place now...? I'm looking to kick some ass..." His grimace slowly returned, deliberately this time, "...not that you would know anything about that."

e was obviously upset. Despite herself, Blodeuwen wanted to reach out, to place a slender hand upon his shoulder, to hold him. But that would do little to cheer him up. In fact, she was certain that it would only anger him. She saw his plastered-on smile fade as he nonchalantly stared over the city. Jeez, some guys just had to play it cool all the time, huh. Did he think he'd spontaneously combust if he showed a little compassion? She frowned deeply. This bravado was only hurting Pico, at the end of the day.
"Pico-kun, that's..." she trailed off. What was she saying? She'd never change him. He was like a stone, destined to wear himself down to dust against the world. Next he was even disregarding their old mentor, Lyn. Fat lot of help this was, then. Blod stared at him sullenly. He was at least as strong as most of the seated officers, if not Lieutenants. Maybe they could get him on-side. Pico didn't really have allegiance to much anyone, but the Quincy were strong. He could be like a weapon that they pointed and released at the enemy... But then she imagined the sheer, wanton destruction that would take place if the arrancar ever came face to face with the stupid monkey Zaraki. She had to consciously stop herself releasing a low whistle as she pictured how much trouble she'd be in then. Mmh, yes, that would indeed be a terrible thing.
Of course... She didn't need to bring Pico into the fold to induct him as some kind of mercenary. Why go to the trouble of trying to keep him under control in the Seireitei when he could do his job just as easily here in the human world. She was about to set a wicked, and very devilish plan into motion when he grinned once more. She... wouldn't know... about that?
"I wouldn't, would I?" she asked him sardonically. Blodeuwen could see what was going to happen here. And yet despite ordinarily being non-violent... She was perfectly happy to let it. Maybe that'd teach this good-for-nothing beansprout a lesson. "Well nowadays, the big dogs... Are the Quincy. They all showed up and killed a whole bunch of hollows and arrancar, destroyed them forever. There's a bunch of them stronger than shinigami Taichou. They're probably the strongest opponents you'll find around." she told him slyly, neglecting to mention that at least some of them weren't as strong as she was.
Raising his eyebrow, he looked away from her once again as she started speaking, jamming his pinky finger into his ear and digging around. He mulled over it for a second, the thoughts rattling around in his empty skull before he withdrew his finger from his ear, flicking off whatever may have stuck to the tip and sneered, "Qua-Quincy? What kinda dumbass name is that... so this Quincy guy killed off a bunch of weak fucks, like I should give a damn.... I thought you sword-pussie's Captains were supposed to be hot shit? Man... and I was thinkin' a fight with one of them might actually be fun, but I guess even they're a bunch of runts... "
Yawning and scratching the back of his head, mumbling to himself, "No way in fuck I'd get taken down by some dumbass named Quincy..." Staring down into the streets, he slumped his shoulders and shifted his jaw back and forth as he thought.
"...y'know, I bet if I were to tear through some of these buildings that would get Tinman crawling out of whatever hole he's cowering in... He cared so much about this shit hole, even though everyone here is weak.. what's the fucking point..." He sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes, dismissing the idea for now.

t was hard to repress a sneer at the grossness of Pico liberating his ear of some of the scum within. On the other hand, Blodeuwen considered that maybe if he dug enough stuff out of his head, his brain might expand to fill the gaps and he'd get even a small modicum of common sense. One might hope so, at any rate. Blodeuwen walked up to join him at the lip of the roof, looking out onto the street below.
"Not a guy called Quincy, doofus." she told him, rolling her eyes in a rare display of exasperation. "You know, the 'holy archers', erase hollows from existence, were the victims of a genocide by the shinigami?" she asked, wondering if the guy had even heard of them at all. In all likelihood he hadn't, come to think of it. Regardless, Blodeuwen figured that she'd not bore him with the details. He didn't need to know what they were in order to try and kill them, that much was for certain. "Anyway, Taicho are pretty strong, the Quincy are just stronger." she told him matter-of-factly, with a little nod.
Uh-oh. Now he was returning to his baser instincts. Of course, how Pico-like, to opt to simply destroy things when he didn't get his way. Blodeuwen wasn't going to stand for that. She had authority enough that she could dismiss letting him live as a useful mercy. But not the destruction of humans and human property.
"If you do that Pico," Blodeuwen turned to him, pacific eyes glistering in the sunlight, "I'm going to have to beat you up until you go back to Hueco Mundo, licking your wounds." there was nothing in her voice to suggest that she was joking. Her tone had turned dark, full of killing intent. She was under her limiter but even then... She was still fairly confident she could beat him in a fist fight. And she could always request the removal of the limiter if need be.
"Are you going to make me do that?" she asked him.
Blod rambled on about holes and arches and honestly Pico was not a god damn builder, so what the fuck would he know about them. But what he did understand were the simple terms of Strong and Stronger, literally driving his life up until this point. So now he knew what he should be looking for, Captain's, and... whatever Blod was talking about...
But then his wandering train of thought was cut short by a... threat? From HER? This pink little flower with fists no bigger than a childs was going to... kick HIS ass? The idea of it welled up inside of him until it finally erupted out, a wheezing laugh that left him doubled over and slapping his knee.
"Ooohoho, fuck Princess, ooh, I'm so scared!" He started up his laughter again and wiped tears from his eyes, bent over and supporting himself on his knees. "You... beating ME up..!" He seemed to struggle to catch a breath, gasping in between laughs. "In your fucking dreams, lady..!"
Slowly coming off of it, he let out a few more weak chuckles, wiping his eyes one more time and holding his gut, "Oh man Princess, that was good... didn't know you had it in you..." And mockingly he repeated in her tone, "I'm going to have to beat you up," before shaking his head and sighing contently.

he caught the sneer before he spoke. Pico's chauvinism was no different to the last time they had met. Last time she had been weaker, and it had scared her. Blodeuwen was no longer such a shrinking violet or wilting wallflower. She was a proud sunflower stalk, and wouldn't let herself be browbeaten by the arrancar's toxic attitude. Blodeuwen's lips curled up into a wry smile as Pico laughed away her threat, wheezing and slapping his knee in a comic exaggeration of good humour. Or perhaps he really was so simple that he found it that entertaining.
Blodeuwen knew that for maximum impact, her timing had to be impeccable. She let him have his moments of bravado, knowing that this would be so much more satisfying once she had allowed her old acquaintance to belittle her. She looked at her nails, holding the back of her hand before her. It was an obvious and rude expression, as if to say 'Are you quite finished?' designed exclusively to raise his hackles and wind him up. It was when he had told her he hadn't been aware she had had it in her, and was just beginning his next statement that Blodeuwen would seemingly disappear before his eyes. He'd have barely a fraction of a moment to respond, as she exited her step mid-way through a spin kick, aimed right at his face, from straight in front of him. Leather-clad foot would, unless by some miracle he managed to dodge it, impact with Pico's smug face with enough force to send him midway into the adjacent building, which Blodeuwen had double checked was empty before she hurt any passers by.
She dropped to the floor, heels clicking, hands clasped behind her back, a pearly white smile upon her pretty face. By her estimates, even with the limiter she was still more than twice as fast and strong as he. Feeling confident now she'd stretched her legs, she would call to him if he were far, or speak if he were near, in a sing-song voice.
"Just so that you know, Pico-chaaaaan, I was given a limiter when I left the Soul Society, reducing me to twenty-per-cent of my full strength. So maybe perhaps you have a fighting chance in this battle, hmm?" she asked, her eyes squinted shut with the sheer force of her glee.
The last thing Pico expected was the be sent cartwheeling hundreds of feet away, his basic instincts not even being able to kick in in the split second it all happened. Even as he hurtled through the air, he couldn't catch up in time to stop himself from crashing through a door to a rooftop exit on a nearby building, rolling down a few of the stairs with the pile of splinters that was the door. There he laid for a moment, staring, even having the breath knocked out of him, and his jaw nearly dislocated.
What. The fuck. Was that. His little brain smoked a bit as it tried to process it, could it have been someone else? It had to have been right? But no, even if he couldn't counter or dodge, the only thing he could do was see that pink flash and leather clad foot that had sent him hurtling away. There was just no fucking way. If it were some kinda magic spell, then maybe he'd understand. But... she... kicked... that hard?!
Stepping up out of the dark rooftop doorway, Pico emerged once again into the open air, shifting his nearly broken jaw, his brow furrowed now. He radiated flaring reiatsu now, his untamed rage flickering and boiling over. His hands clenched into tight fists as he made his way in her direction.
"I dunno what kinda trick that was Princess, but now you've gone and pissed me off... " Impulsively, the only way Pico knew how to do anything, he Sonido's directly at her, fist cocked back and ready to throw a full force punch. As he exited his step, having come close to her, his muscles seemed to soften for just a split second. Instinct prevented him from wanting to punch this pretty... thing... it wouldn't be able to handle a punch of his magni-... magnet.. magnetoid..? Fuck it. In his hesitation, he couldn't stop himself from sending a softened punch her way.

f course, Pico wasn't such a clever guy. Blodeuwen had watched him fly through the doorway, which gave in with a painful sounding crunch. She winced slightly in sympathy. He seemed relatively unscathed a he emerged from the rooftop, but he looked angry. In fact not even Yamamoto had looked angry that one time he'd tried to throw his weight around in a meeting. Her words had gone mostly unheeded it seemed, as Pico had performed a sonido in order to close the gap between the two of them. She fluttered her eyelashes at him sweetly as he exited his step, still smiling widely. Something made him hesitate however, in the split second before he punched, Blodeuwen could see the trepidation in his eyes. Was that... Fear? No, he was too stupid to know fear. Perhaps something else then.
Regardless of what it was, it was simple enough for Blodeuwen to dodge the weak punch. She side-stepped, and grabbed at the arrancar's arm, attempting to use his own momentum to fling him over her shoulder and down on his back on the rooftop with a great deal of force, before letting go. She'd raise her leg high above her head, her modesty protected by a thick petticoat, ready to slam it down straight on his face in a brutal axe-kick.
"Silly Pico... Tricks are for kids." she told him, snarling uncharacteristically as her heel whistled through the air, ready to re-arrange his face in a brutal and uncompromising way. Despite her snarl, Blodeuwen grinned with excitement down at the potentially prone Pico, her eyes glinting with the kind of glee that she seldom got to feel. Something within her breast moved slightly. Her blood pumped quickly through her veins, the calmness she reserved for more tactical fights with more at stake all gone. It was time to let loose and have a little fun...
Pico knew the moment he hesitated that he had made a mistake, feeling himself heaved and tossed like a bag of potatoes onto his back, feeling the breath nearly knocked out of him. And even then, with only a split second to react, he saw the guillotine falling, ready to send him on an express route down a few stories into the building they had chosen to brawl on. His adrenaline fueled body took over this time, just narrowly scrambling to roll aside enough to dodge the kick, splintering concrete raining against the side of his face. He kept the roll going and sprang up to his feet, skidding a bit on his heels as he turned to face her. He was breathing heavily now, a mixture of unbridled rage and the odd feeling that he shouldn't be beating up a weak little lady, even if she was proving to be not so weak, and questionably not so much of a lady.
But his anger seemed to take control now, his skin visibly smoking as his rage hit him in the throat. His reiatsu swirled around him like a maelstrom of invisible fire, but his silhouette now even seemed to ripple as heat was given off of him like a searing hot pan. Maybe it was time to put her in her place, and he happened to be in a particularly bad mood by this point, finding out his best friend had died, his mentor had gone missing for good, and now he was getting his ass handed to him by some rosy cheeked blonde BITCH?! No, not Pico Gavilán. He was strong, and not about to be second place to anyone.
With a sudden burst of reiatsu, and a wisp of flame, Pico disappeared, suddenly reappearing around Blod in different directions, closing in with each reappearance, leaving behind smoldering trails of fire as he finally made his way at her, hurling a punch to her ribs before stepping off to different positions to land any blows he could, his brain having completely given the reigns over to his passion fueled muscles, instinct and aggression taking the lead now.

uckily for Pico, he was able to roll out of the way to stop his face being turned into a fine pink mist. Blodeuwen's heel slammed into the roof with the force of an oncoming train, completely splintering and shattering the tiles. She assumed a combat-ready stance and awaited his next move. Burning hot reiatsu washed over her, and she smiled once more. He was pretty angry, she could feel it. See it in his eyes. His killing intent was sharpening his will. Blodeuwen averted her gaze slightly to stop her eyeballs baking away in their sockets.
Her heart, which was already rattling away in her chest like a wrench in a tumbledryer, went cold for a brief instant when he disappeared in a sonido. She was able to follow his speed without any real difficulty however, tracing the paths of burning hot reiatsu through the air. Each time he appeared, Blodeuwen would block each rock-hard punch, stood stock still, rooted in a single spot. The punch to ribs was intercepted by an extended fore-arm; Blodeuwen either dodging or blocking each subsequent blow. After several of these blows, Blodeuwen would catch one with a single hand, and let out a high-pitched kiai.
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOA!" she would scream upon catching the arrancar's fist, before spinning him at high speed. "Maa..." she would spin him faster and faster, at velocities putting him at risk of a dislocation, creating a burning ring of fire in the air above her due to his fiery, burning reiatsu. "sooooooo....." he was a blur of limbs and motion now as Blodeuwen spun him at even greater speeds. "HEI!" as she flung him at incredible speed up into the air, as she felt that an impact with the ground at such velocity was likely to kill him or at least seriously maim him.
"Come on Pico, I know you can do better than that." Blodeuwen goaded him. "Or are you seriously weaker than a little girl like me?" she chided in a snide, cutting tone of voice.
{Spoiler}Name: Chop Suey! Class: H2H Tier: VI Type: Defensive/Binding Range: Self Description: This technique enables its user to catch a blade, punch or kick that is incoming with lightning fast speed. The user must pause to make a high pitched "Wooooooooooooah!" sound upon successfully catching the incoming technique (kind of like an incantation for kido). This gives an opponent an opportunity to attempt to break free from the attack, but if they fail, any of the follow-up techniques to this technique can then be instantly activated making them nigh on impossible to avoid.
Name: Maso-hei! Class: H2H Tier: V-VI Type: Offensive Range: Short <5m (already held) Description: This technique is a follow on from Chop Suey and can only be used when the opponent is firmly held. The user screams "MASOOOOOOOO" while spinning the opponent rapidly to generate speed and then "HEIIII!" as they fling them. If they fling them into the ground they are likely to become stuck and are open to further assault. If they fling them into an object the opponent is likely to suffer collision damage. If they are flung outwards or upwards, the opponent flies at incredible speed for at least 70m away, generating distance between the user and her opponent.
Pico knew he had messed up when he hesitated, but he didn't expect Blod to catch his thrown punch entirely, he felt like a child fighting her like this, really beginning to realize the difference in their power, especially as he then felt his feet lift off of the rooftop, and then being spun around like an olympic hammerthrow before being launched off into the air.
Being flung up into the air, Pico's ears were ringing with molten blood, his face shriveled into a fuming expression of a man on the edge, just before disappearing into the clouds. His little brain smoked in his head as it worked out what to do next, but hearing the fading taunt as he soared away was the final flick on the nose that made him finally snap. Even from this distance, a rush of reiatsu pulsed across the sky above her. There was a burst within the clouds, a golden red glow that seemed to ripple before suddenly swirling out in a massive fireball, swirling out in all directions and revealing Pico, hurtling down towards Blod. He donned his Ressurreccion coat, flames trailing him like a falling star as he dove headfirst toward her, before giving the air a swift kick, disappearing to the sound of static. Now she had to die.

lood squicking through her ears, the thrum of adrenaline giving her limbs a tingly, airy feeling... This was something that Blodeuwen could only be so comfortable with as she knew that Pico was so much weaker than her that at best, she had been humouring him. She could feel the satisfying pulse of reiatsu as his anger overcame him. Blodeuwen was ready to put him in the ground, show him how weak he was compared to her. The fiery heatwave rocketed into her but she stood firm, unaffected as he dove down like a shooting star, ready for her to completely take him apart. Until...
It took a moment for Blodeuwen to notice. He had crept up so quietly and amongst all of the reiatsu that Pico was throwing around she could barely sense him, he was so weak. The human that had intruded upon their fights had entered the rooftop by clambering over the remains of the door Pico had destroyed earlier with his collision and he was looking curiously at Blodeuwen who realized the immense and imminent danger that the man was in. She sighed. She'd have to wipe his damn memory.
"You!" She said to him, pinning him to the door with her reiatsu where he would be at least a little sheltered, before looking up at Pico. "Okay Pico, playtime's over. Back to the desert you go." she told him as he rocketed towards her. As he descended upon her, she opened up a modified senkaimon behind her. She would punch him when he exited from the sonido, with enough force to shatter bones, straight into the opened gateway into Hueco Mundo, before sealing it as quickly as it had appeared.
Dusting her hands off she turned back on the human, who now looked terrified, withdrawing a keikanshinki from her pocket. Why, oh why had he had to come snooping around?
