while I don't plan to learn it, I felt there was a paradox in the mechanics of the Kido.
It says it can only be activated by using one's own charred body as a catalyst. Okay, right?
Well, how would the learning process work for such a Kido? You can't exactly make a new limb from nowhere since Shinigami don't have regeneration to begin with, so how does one actually "learn" it?

Good point Hyoka. I'll be bringing this up with staff and hopefully we'll be able to figure out or adjust this accordingly to make this make sense and get you an answer soon.

Strictly speaking there was never a point in the manga where it was stated that this tech requires a "charred body" to do the sacrifice. It was only stated by Aizen that it was sacrificial in nature so in theory you only need to sacrifice an arm it wouldn't need to be charred. That being said IC the way a person learns such a technique is by by being a good student and learning the theory behind it without actually using it.
