Description: This sword is very similar to both an arrancar's and a shinigami's zanpakutou and was made after intense studying of both. It is different however, in that it does not contain a portion of the user's soul, like an arrancar, or a separate but linked soul with the same reiatsu, like a shinigami. The Konpakutou holds an entirely separate soul. The blade has two "modes", or settings. In the first, an entity who is stabbed with the blade can pump their reiatsu into it, which will result in their body getting absorbed into the blade. The sword then takes on an appearance similar in theme to the character absorbed. In the second mode, the blade is usable as a bankai sharpness weapon.
If it has an entity absorbed inside it, the wielder is able to use four techniques from their release (named during absorption). They maintain the same advantages as if the techniques were used by the entity itself, and they incur a separate cooldown to all other item techniques used by the wielder. They can be released at any time, and they are also capable of breaking out at any time they wish. They can communicate telepathically with their wielder, and can even operate their powers independently, such that they don't require the wielder to concentrate.
Its blade, where the soul is housed, is made of Soul Silver Ore (1umm), reinforced with fins of Reiatsu-tempered steel (1umm), and with a core made of Soul Society raw Iron (3umm). The handle is made of commonly found materials, though the core where the soul is stored is made from 1umm of Crystalized Precipice Flow. It is a product of Cyrell's expertise in soul containment, though due to its nature, it does not gain additional advantages on its techniques.

Soul Silver Ore requires copious amounts of reishi to create and as such can only be made by only the most powerful quincy blacksmiths. Because of its unusual durability, Soul Silver Ore is often used to create weapons like the Quincy Cross and Seele Schneider by melting the Ore down into a liquid form. Due to its high levels of purity only the brightest flames can melt this metal, before forming them into the aforementioned items. Soul Silver Ore can be gathered from broken quincy crosses and seele schneider belonging to only the most elite of quinces.
